Neste trabalho são apresentadas duas propostas de sequências didáticas para ensino de logaritmos. A primeira delas é destinada ao aperfeiçoamento de professores de Matemática e a outra, para alunos de Ensino Médio. Tais sequências foram desenvolvidas com base em pesquisas realizadas pelo Prof. João Pedro da Ponte sobre o processo de investigação matemática. No início do século XVII, o escocês John Napier revolucionou os métodos de cálculo da época com a invenção dos logaritmos. O logaritmo de Napier não era exatamente o que usamos hoje. Naquela época, o trabalho de multiplicação, divisão, cálculo de potências e extração de raízes eram trabalhosos e feitos a partir de senos. Surgiram as primeiras tábuas de logaritmos, inventadas independentemente por John Napier (1550-1617) e Jost Bürgi (1552-1632). Esta tese estuda as contribuições proporcionais a In(T) da função de três pontos na teoria de Yang-Mills no calibre axial temporal na ordem de um loop no limite de altas temperaturas. Nós provamos que tais contribuições satisfazem uma identidade de Ward abeliana que as relaciona com o tensor de polarização do glúon, concluindo que são invariantes de Lorentz e têm a mesma estrutura dos pólos ultravioleta que ocorrem a temperatura zero.
