Abstract:
Topicality. In the conditions of a developed market economy and the deepening of the specialization of business entities, the theory of logistics is more oriented towards enterprises, and not to markets, and needs some market reorientation. Under the pressure of market processes, scientists are trying to generalize the market logistics processes of goods through the introduction of such concepts as: "logistics system", transport, marketing logistics. Further analysis of the theory of logistics requires attention to the main element of the market - the product, given that all economic actors in a market economy operate in a market environment, that is within the relevant commodity markets. That is, any business entity belongs to a certain commodity market ie it operates within a defined commodity market. Note that the product is precisely the element that determines the market - the commodity market. Consequently, the realization of the functions of the commodity movement combines the respective economic entities among themselves into the logistic chain of the commodity market. The logistic chain is a clearly defined route of a commodity wheel with logistic transitions, in which there are changes in the nature of the flow of goods, as well as changes in ownership. Aim and tasks. The purpose of this article is to develop approaches to the formation of the theory of market logistics on the reproductive principle. Research results. Development of proposals for the formation of the theory of market logistics on the reproductive principle. The definition of the category "market logistics" is given, the principles on which effective logistic chains of commodity markets should be organized and their reproductive processes must be formed. Conclusions. Construction of an effective reproduction market logistics is also provided by the minimum costs associated with the flow of material flow from the supplier to the consumer at the minimum possible date. However, the real process of movement of goods in the market is associated with the appearance on its way of some obstacles (barriers), or points of logistical gaps, which, on the one hand, leads to increased opium and increased costs for overcoming it, and on the other hand, to forced warehousing (delay) when there is a lack of bandwidth of the market chain links. Therefore, the task of the next research of market logistics is to determine ways to overcome these obstacles or gap, which impair the ideal conditions for the movement of material flows, channels of commodity movement as a deviation from a single straight line.

Abstract:
Topicality. The most uncertain and perhaps the main among others, both in theory and in logistics, is the problem of logistics management. Especially this problem becomes relevant and important in the formulation of the theoretical and practical presentation of logistics, as the form of organization of the market system, or rather, the logistics chain of the commodity market. It has come to the point that domestic producers lose in the competition to importers due to inefficient logistics, which is better organized by foreign operators. The main reason for this is that the state has out of sight the problem of managing logistics processes, giving its solution to the salary of the relevant business structures, both internal and external. First of all, for analysis of the management system, all the constituent elements of the system should be defined, namely: the purpose, tasks, objects, objects and subjects of management, the nature and nature of management measures, etc. Aim and tasks. The purpose of the article is to study the management of the logistics of the commodity market and the problems of defining the principles of building a management system. The most effective commodity markets are those that operate in expanded reproduction mode, the quantitative criteria of which are the value added (DF) that are generated on the market. It is on this that the theory of market efficiency is also being built. Thus, the purpose of managing the market logistics is to build (to create) such logistics that would satisfy this requirement. Research results. The principles, subjects and mechanisms of market logistics management are defined. The structural model of the market logistics management system is constructed. In the structural model, in addition to the basic conditions, which determine the management system itself, management entities whose activity is subordinated to these basic conditions, on the other hand, and, on the other hand, when certain market mechanisms are used, certain (indicated by arrows) are possible managerial influences on corresponding managing parameters of the logistic chains of commodity markets. Conclusions. Consequently, in the course of the study, we have identified the factors that determine the conditions for the functioning of commodity markets, as well as the construction of their logistic chains. Thus, the above and above principles, concepts and categories, we combined in our constructed model of management of the logistics chains of commodity markets, which we can recommend for introduction in order to accelerate their development.

Abstract:
Topicality. The relevance of this study is to determine the factors that accelerate the process of development of the national economy based on the development of real sector markets. Current theory draws attention to the need to significantly reduce logistics costs in these markets. The latter include the full range of costs incurred in moving a product or service from the place of production to the end consumer. Today, in the world due to high production levels, the economic focus is on meeting the needs of consumer markets, and the expansion of geographic boundaries of markets due to the development of global processes is forcing effective ways of supply to the farthest corners of the continent. Therefore, the most powerful manufacturers - corporations spend considerable efforts to win new consumer markets. The governments of the countries are also involved in this fight. In the process there are so-called trade wars. In our view, the most effective tool in this competition is to create effective logistics for commodity markets. Aim and tasks. The purpose of the article is to investigate the hypothesis of the need to introduce the concept of "market logistics" in the general theory of logistics and research of this category. Research results. In the course of the research the necessity of the term "market logistics" or "market logistics" was proved, its essence was revealed and definitions were given. Mechanisms that promote the promotion of goods in the market (commodity movement), which contribute not only to the commodity movement, but also to the reproduction of other resources (financial, labor, etc.) involved in the logistics chain and their classification are disclosed. The differences in the interpretation and application of the mechanisms of the category "enterprise logistics" and "market logistics" are identified. The hypothesis is developed, the essence of which is as follows: "The effectiveness of a commodity rick depends on the efficiency of construction and organization of its logistics chain, and which, in turn, depends on its spatial and temporal parameters, ie on the extension of its geographical (territorial) boundaries and the stability of time border . Spatial parameters of logistics chains of commodity markets are revealed, their essence is presented, and also the analysis of global value chains as a methodology of analysis of spatial parameters of commodity markets is carried out. Time parameters of logistics chains of commodity markets are defined and analyzed and mechanisms of their regulation are defined. A new view of logistics, which, unlike others, provides for taking into account the interests of the state, the participation of certain bodies in market processes, which will allow to involve management tools more widely and substantively in the development of markets. Conclusions. The overall conclusion of the research findings outlined in the scientific report is as follows. Organization of market logistics, which is built into the theory of organization of commodity markets should be based on the following principles: maximum coverage of all market entities by the organized (ordered) logistics of the relevant product market; the maximum share of value added generated in the relevant market that remains in the country (within geographic market parameters) with its corresponding return to the reproduction process of the given market; effective organization of commodity exchange operations at the points of logistic crossings (crossroads), by applying modern integration and differential economic mechanisms and technologies of logistics services (operations) execution; maximum integration of commodity markets into the national economy, by reducing the time of commodity movement through the market from producer to consumer based on the elimination of logistical gaps in logistics chains; optimization of spatial parameters of domestic commodity markets, by extension of their geographical (territorial) borders, including foreign states, provided that the added value is returned to the national economy and state support.

Abstract:
Topicality. The relevance of this scientific problem lies in the study of the evolution of the development of logistics as an economic category in order to determine the trends of its development, factors affecting this development, historical changes, as a basis for predicting and forecasting the further development of this direction of organization of market and logistics environment. Thus, known wisdom suggests that if we acknowledge the past, we cannot predict the future. That is, without this we cannot plan economic relations and influence their development. Aim and tasks. The purpose of the article is to determine: stages of logistics development, within which certain economic processes occurring in commodity markets are combined; defines the functions and logistics elements that make up the commodity markets; further prospects for the development of market logistics. Research results. The development of logistics is influenced by changes in the economic and practical sphere and the transformation of market relations, in particular, such transformational changes that influenced the logistics development can be characterized as follows: overproduction as a result of the development of the industrial economy; specialization under the pressure of cost savings in logistics processes; globalization as a process of development of the world economy and pressure of developed countries on others; a technological factor that has been developing at an accelerated pace in recent years and is becoming more influential). Four stages of development of logistics in historical dimension are defined (stage 1 is characterized by fragmentation of production processes, which influences the gradual transition of the economy from producer to buyer market; stage 2 extends the marketing concept, which focuses on strengthening the strategy of inventory formation; stage 3 is characterized by integration of logistics functions production and distribution entities of the market, which allows to achieve minimization of logistics costs; stage 4 characterizes the development of logistics by optimizing the time and space criteria, at this stage there are global logistics networks), which are formed on the basis of changes in market relations, as well as depending on the development of technological and technical factors characteristic of this or that stage. It is determined that the formation of these stages is influenced by the degree of development of economic market instruments, such as: marketing, integration, strategic planning, foresight forecasting. Conclusion. As a result of the study, the authors tried to predict the further development of logistics as a scientific field, taking into account the following factors: deepening conflict of interest between corporations and governments of different countries, which, under the influence of deglobalization, leads to the transformation of logistics of markets into simpler forms - supply chains with increased parameters of supply; transformation of consumer markets under the influence of the evolution of social needs, in which the individualization of public demand is beginning to dominate and the technology of individual supply through Internet networks is changing accordingly; the use of foresight forecasting as a progressive form of identifying and meeting public needs through the improvement of logistics services.

Abstract:
Nowadays, companies offer various logistics services to their customers. Diversity of these services is essential for business. The range of services that logistics companies cover depends on various factors; it can be solely transport, but can also be a complex service that includes organisation of raw materials delivery, warehousing, delivery of finished goods to customers and dealing with documents like invoices, waybills and others. The increasing popularity of logistics in services is noticeable. This is connected with global changes. This is a complex phenomenon that connects aspects and features of services and logistics. The three most important areas for logistics in services are: minimisation of waiting time, management of service potential and service delivery. The goal of this article is to reveal the difference between these two subjects and review the literature connected with them. The main conclusions are that logistics services can be seen as belonging to logistics in the services phenomenon. In every area of logistics in services, three phases can be distinguished: supply, production and sales. Germany has the leading position in Europe when it comes to the logistics services market. Dynamic changes in logistics have led to the development of a new classification of logistics enterprises. The European Commission is analysing changes in the sector in order to prepare new strategic objectives.

Abstract:
Purpose This research analyzes the development of logistics outsourcing market in two countries, Estonia and Finland, with different paths as members of the single European market. The purpose of this paper is to examine whether the two markets have become more similar or whether their logistics costs and logistics markets have developed differently over time. Design/methodology/approach The development of the logistics market is addressed through two survey-based variables. Logistics costs are used to measure the size of the logistics market, whereas logistics outsourcing is analyzed to measure the development phase as well as the market potential for logistics service provision. Findings Estonian logistics outsourcing market was found to be underdeveloped and small compared to the Finnish market. At the same time, the logistics costs of Finnish companies are high and rising, whereas the costs of Estonian firms are declining. Research limitations/implications The results imply that the level of outsourcing might explain the visibility of logistics costs, which should be taken into account when making estimates on logistics costs both at the firm as well as on country level. Social implications Logistics sector is an important source of national competitiveness and employment. This research identifies subareas for the two countries on how to develop competitiveness through the logistics market. Originality/value This research provides a unique method to estimate the size of logistics outsourcing market in these two countries. It also represents as one of the rare works to provide multiyear comparison between countries in logistics costs.

Abstract:
The article presents an analysis of the essence of logistics as an object of scientific research and as an organizational mechanism aimed at streamlining the functioning of commodity markets. It has been determined that such an organizational essence of logistics affects the efficiency of commodity movement along the logistics chain of the market, and, on the other hand, the efficiency of the activities of the logistics entities themselves. It is shown that the process of commodity circulation in the market is based on a commodity exchange operation. Tying the theory of logistics to the theory of commodity markets, the authors consider it expedient and reasonable to introduce the concept of "market logistics" or "market logistics" into scientific and practical circulation. On this basis, an analysis of the difference in goals, functions and mechanisms of these scientific categories is presented.

Abstract:
The article presents studies of the logistics structure of commodity market, based on the provisions of the general parametric theory of systems (GPTS). The logistics analysis of commodity movement on the market is presented and typical scheme of goods movement on a logistic chain is offered. Considering market logistics as an organizational system, the article presents its parametric model in the form of a matrix, the elements of which are logistic entities with their connections. It is proved, that the main basic element of the matrix structure of logistics system of commodity movement is a business entity that participates in the production and promotion of goods on the market. The types of business entities, which operating in the logistics system of the commodity market, are systematized. It is determined that business entities, which are distributed in logistics chains and their links, perform certain logistics functions due to their properties. It has been proved that business entities, which can be included as elements of the matrix market structure, should have the functions of performing logistics services. The content of these services is revealed and analyzed. The use of the corresponding target function in calculating the optimal logistics chains of commodity movement in the market is substantiated. The application of this approach, based on the multi-attribute utility theory (MAUT) is shown. It is determined that the goal of the proposed target function, by which the value added chain is calculated, is its maximization in the supply chain. Calculations for the target function allow you to determine the optimal route of commodity movement in the market and the relevant logistics entities through which this route passes. Thus, it is proposed to organize (highlight) the most profitable logistics chains of the market, which will significantly reduce the logistics costs of commodity movement, as well as reduce the risks of logistics barriers.

Logistics outsourcing markets are globally expanding at a breakneck pace. Like other industries, the demand and supply forces of the logistics service industry are also affected by external determinants. The primary objective of this research is to evaluate the behavior patterns of Logistics Outsourcing Market (LOM) in Pakistan in contrast to global demand and supply patterns of the logistics industry and find out the major factors, drivers and obstacles which impact the growth of logistics outsourcing in Pakistan. For statistical analysis, this study solely relied upon the perspective of logistics service providers. A sample of 180 logistics service providers was surveyed to gather information through a semi-structured questionnaire. Results confirmed that the behavior of the logistics outsourcing market in Pakistan is tilted towards local business needs and customer demands. Statistical analysis also proved that, as far as the growth of logistics market is concerned, the internal industry factors along with national business environment have more impact on the growth of logistics outsourcing than global drivers and challenges.

Abstract:
The importance and the position of mediators in the logistic business operations are generally determined through identifying logistics as a set of important business activities. Accordingly, this paper is designed so that the general characteristics of the logistics providers in the Western economies are presented in its first part, while the second part contains a short critical review of the condition of the logistics outsourcing market in our country. The text essentially refers to emphasizing great differences in both the general logistic knowledge and in the specific characteristics of the logistic mediation between the Western markets and ours. So far two kinds of mediation have been identified in the world: 1) Third party logistics (3PL firms) - partial, i.e. incomplete logistics mediators and 2) Fourth party logistics (4PL firms) - complete logistics mediators basing their activity on the full supply chain. In our country we succeeded in identifying only transport firms and/or shipping agencies as the logistics mediators with a rather limited scope of activity; and as their activity's name implies, they are performing only one or two logistics activities.

Abstract:
Purpose A way that companies have found to respond to the challenges of customer satisfaction (CS) is the development logistics services quality. In this sense, the purpose of this paper is to estimate the quality of logistical service as a mediator factor in the relationship between logistics capabilities (LC) and CS. For this, an exploratory survey of the descriptive type was carried out with 117 companies in the Brazilian market of lubricant oil. The collected data, modeled in structural equations, have shown evidence that the quality of logistics services totally mediates the relation between the LC and the satisfaction of clients. Design/methodology/approach In order to respond to the research problem and to meet the stated objective, a study was carried out in two phases. The first used an exploratory qualitative design, and involved recorded in-depth interviews with five clients and five managers of a lubricant oil producer located in the municipality of Umuarama and nearby areas in Paraná state, Brazil. The second used an exploratory survey of the descriptive type was carried out with 117 companies in the Brazilian market of lubricant oil. Findings The collected data, modeled in structural equations, have shown evidence that the quality of logistics services totally mediates the relation between the LC and the satisfaction of clients. Research limitations/implications It is suggested that new studies be conducted in order to increase the size of the sample, since the number of responses obtained (117 respondents), for the number of initial variables (34 measures). Practical implications In the pursuit of CS, the managers of lubricant oil producers should make major investments in LC, to enable the company to be active in the search for logistics solutions, integration and provision of reliable information to its customers. Social implications The studies should also be carried out in other market segments, in order to compare the results obtained in the lubricating oil segment of Brazil and corroborate knowledge about the influence of logistical capabilities on the relation between logistics service quality and CS. Originality/value The logistics services quality perceived by the customers is derived from the service capacity of the producer’s employees and the quality of information provided to the customers.

Abstract:
The current state of logistic sector development in Ukraine, features of its formation and development, focusing on export and import of transport services according to their types are considered in this paper. The preconditions for the need to form an efficient logistics system of the national economy, which is be able to ensure the transport capacity of export-import and transit flows, are outlined. Factors that significantly affect the quality of the logistics market in Ukraine, including the imperfection of certain provisions of customs legislation, lack of transparency and openness of customs, deteriorating quality of transport infrastructure and the lack of simplified rules for determining the origin of goods are highlighted. The need for systematic analysis of strengths and weaknesses of the domestic business environment in determining the impact of various factors on the level and dynamics of competitiveness of the national logistics structure are substantiated, the effective strategy for its operation in the global competitive environment is developed. The volume of exports of services and imports of transport services of Ukraine is investigated by geographical structure and the models of trend indicators confirming the possibility of forecasting the volumes of transport services are built. It is proved that Ukraine’s disposition in the global economic dimension and ability to provide efficient logistics can be traced by its place among other countries in international ratings assessed by world organizations, analytical institutions and experts from the world using general statistics based on special social, economic and political indices. The share of export-import logistics services in foreign trade is investigated by types, structure and dynamics. Abstract:
The article is devoted to the conceptual provisions of one of the innovative modern approaches to the management of personnel potential of the enterprise – the logistics approach, which provides for the development and implementation of a logistics personnel system that ensures the optimal formation of personnel, ensuring its mobility, the distribution of jobs in the system and minimizing turnover. The authors identified the advantages of personnel logistics and proposed activities that can be used to assess the state of the personnel management system in a separate logistics system with the allocation of three blocks: the overall assessment of human resources; analysis of the activities and main functions of departments; evaluation of the implementation of key functions of personnel management. Studies conducted in this work prove the need to optimize personnel flows, which will create additional savings and optimize the movement of personnel.

Abstract:
PurposeThe size of the logistics market is typically estimated from the national accounting and market data. However, this data does not take certain in-house logistics services into account and most likely underestimates the true size of the market. The purpose of this paper is to develop a method for estimating the potential size of the logistics market in terms of overall logistics expenditure and to also account for in-house services.Design/methodology/approachThe research approach involves combining longitudinal industry- and firm-level turnover data, incorporating survey data from Finland on logistics outsourcing and costs, and calculating yearly logistics expenditure and the market demand for logistics services. Descriptive statistics, weighted arithmetic means and analyses of variance are employed in the estimations.FindingsThe research suggests and demonstrates a rigorous method for estimating the size of the logistics market, including both market-based demand and in-house services.Research limitations/implicationsThe empirical data used to illustrate the result are limited to a single country. The methodology should be further validated with data from other countries. The quality of the survey data could be improved by targeting multiple informants from a single firm.Social implicationsOne outcome of the research is that policymakers will be better able to estimate the size of the logistics market on a national level. For service providers, the results provide additional information on the market potential of logistics services.Originality/valueThe novelty of the research lies in combining multiple data sources and expanding the estimation of the logistics market to include services provided in-house.
