Abstract:
This article was prepared by a team of authors of the sociological faculty of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov as part of a series of events dedicated to the 270th anniversary of Moscow University. The article was based on the processed and analyzed data of the sociological study “Social Communication in Modern Society: Essence and Features”, conducted by employees of the Sociological Faculty of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov under the guidance of the Dean of the Sociological Faculty of Moscow State University, Professor N.G. Osipova in April–May 2024. As part of the study, a total of 401 students of the sociological faculty of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov. Particular emphasis in the study was placed on the study of the features of the understanding by students of the sociological faculty of the very fact of the transition of mankind in its development to a new stage for it — the electronic-digital era, as well as the features of social communication and the opportunities that they acquired, thanks to the onset of this era. The study revealed a generally positive attitude of students to the process of the formation of an electronic-digital society, the active introduction of digital technologies into the daily life of a modern person, without which young people can no longer imagine their existence. At the same time, their active immersion in virtual reality, which is provided and actually created by new media, especially social networks and instant messengers, naturally led to the emergence of Internet addiction, gadget addiction, as well as to uncritical comprehension of the information that they receive from these sources. Naturally, this has a very negative effect on the formation of their life attitudes, landmarks, which are largely consumer in nature, and also makes them a very convenient object for destructive propaganda and manipulative influence.

AbstractRadiation environment of near-Earth space is one of the most important factors of space weather. Space Monitoring Data Center of Moscow State University provides operational monitor and forecast of radiation conditions both at Geostationary Orbits (GEO) and at Low Earths Orbits (LEO) of the near-Earth space using data of recent space missions (Vernov, CORONAS series) and current (Lomonosov, Meteor-M, Electro-L) ones. Internet portal of Space Monitoring Data Center of Skobeltsyn Institute of Nuclear Physics of Lomonosov Moscow State University (SINP MSU - [swx.sinp.msu.ru]) provides possibilities to monitor and analyze the space radiation conditions in the real time mode together with the geomagnetic and solar activity including hard X-ray and gamma-emission of solar flares.

Abstract:
The article offered to the reader is an overview of the fourth session of the VIII International Political Economic Congress, named after A. V. Buzgalin, «Russian Economic System: Contradictions and Development Potential,» held on May 16-17, 2024, as part of the VI Moscow Academic Economic Forum. The session was dedicated to four significant anniversaries: the 220th anniversary of the Department of Political Economy in Lomonosov Moscow State University, the 120th anniversary of the birth of N.A. Tsagolov, the 100th anniversary of the birth of V.N. Cherkovets and the 70th anniversary of the birth of A.V. Buzgalin. Addressing the history, the speakers noted the significance of outstanding scientists, the leaders of the department who were at the top of developing economic theory in the 19th century. This tradition was continued in the Soviet time. Special place in it belongs to the Tsagolov School, the significance of which in the history of economic science was determined by methodological independence and self-sufficiency, with the development of the system of laws and categories of political economy as the main result of its activity. Special attention at the session was paid to the creative path of V.N. Cherkovets, one of the brightest representatives of the Tsagolov School. Congress participants highly appreciated the work of A.V. Buzgalin, an effective follower of the Tsagolov School, who created an independent direction in economic science. His main work, which condenced the main ideas, was the two-volume book «Global Capital,» co-authored with A.I. Kolganov. The main conclusion that follows from the materials of the session is that political economy and the Tsagolov School are still relevant today, in a more complex theoretical and geopolitical configuration of world development, and political economy was and remains a fundamental science that systematizes the ongoing processes in the context of their renewal.

Abstract:
Introduction. The history of the development of human auxology at Lomonosov Moscow State University as one of the areas of biological anthropology is discussed. Results and discussion. The main achievements of the university auxological school in the 21st century are analyzed against the background of similar research carried out by foreign scientists. The main attention is paid to the influence of climatic, socio-economic, psycho-emotional factors on the processes of growth and development. A special place in the works of the MSU auxologists is occupied by the problems of secular changes in morphofunctional characteristics. Russian scientists have obtained new original results regarding the direction and rates of these changes at different stages of the human life cycle. In particular, unlike previous decades, the transformation of the vector of these changes towards macrosomic physique in children, adolescents and young adults, an increase in fat mass, a decrease in skeletal mass and physical strength of the body was demonstrated. These results generally corresponds to global trends observed in other countries. The data on secular changes in body composition components, the effect of different diseases on physical characteristics, the development of reference graphs, tables and other means of assessing and diagnosing individual and group growth patterns are analyzed. Another important aspect of the MSU auxological studies deals with the impact of physical activity on the somatic status of children and adolescents, as well as some vectors of the secular trend in athletes. Conclusion. Russian auxologists have obtained new original results regarding the direction and rates of secular changes at different stages of the human life cycle. Auxological investigations at Lomonosov Moscow State University include also applied research aspects of significant practical importance, in particular for a number of branches of medicine and sports science. Possible prospects for future auxological research are presented, including continuation of secular trend studies, the impact of psychoemotional factors on growth and development, expanding research in the field of sports anthropology, improving methodological support, and working with archival materials. © 2024. Abstract:
A new technique has been developed for the synthesis of cross-linked catalase aggregates by treatment of the enzyme incorporated into the pores of vaterite microspheres with glutaraldehyde and subsequent dissolving of the inorganic matrix. The resulting aggregates have a spherical shape, a narrow particle size distribution and a high specific activity of the enzyme. The number and enzymatic activity of the cross-linked aggregates strongly depends on the rate of the matrix dissolution: mild dissolution conditions made it possible to increase the number of formed protein particles, the residual specific catalase activity of which is only 2 times less than that of the native enzyme. The storage stability of the cross-linked aggregates is comparable to that of the native enzyme of the same concentration. Key words: vaterite, glutaraldehyde, immobilized preparations, intermolecular cross-linking, co-precipitation, CLEAs. Acknowledgment - The authors are grateful to the staff of the M.V. Abstract:
November 20, 2020, at the Lomonosov Moscow State University the all-Russian scientific conference with international participation «State policy in the context of global challenges of modernity» was held, timed to the 10th anniversary of the Department of State Policy, Faculty of Political Science, Moscow University. Within the framework of the conference, which was attended by scientists and specialists from Russia, the USA, Bulgaria and Kazakhstan, a plenary session and several section meetings devoted to the problems of modern public policy were held. This review paper presents the key materials presented in the reports and determined the course and content of the scientific and expert discussion within the section «New subjects and technologies of state policy: current practice and prospects», in which scientists, specialists and experts from the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow State Regional University, Russian State University for the Humanities, National Research Tomsk University, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan), as well as University of Plovdiv Paisii Hilendarski (Plovdiv, Bulgaria). The principles of comparative studies, Case Study, content analysis, Big Data were used as methodological opticians. Within the framework of the «Incommunicado» case, the limits of the spread of this new type of communications are outlined. The conclusions emphasize that digitalization and technological transformations of the main spheres of functioning of the modern state and society are accompanied by the emergence of fundamentally new political actors claiming power resources. These processes form nonlinear effects that affect the content, functionality and structure of the activities of modern states, as well as the parameters of the functioning of national political regimes.
