Full textIn the present investigation a study was made on the lightened slab in the self-construction of sectors C and D of Lima with the purpose of identifying the best construction system of lightened slab to be applied in the self-construction of single-family homes. This has its origin from a current problem that is in the self-construction of single-family homes in Lima, especially in the slab, which does not have adequate advice which generates structural deficiencies, quality and cost. This research develops the three slab systems lightens with more demand at present: the conventional system, the prestressed joist system and the tralicho joist system. Subsequently, a technical evaluation and an economic evaluation of each system were carried out in dwellings in the districts of Los Olivos and San Martin de Porres. In the economic evaluation a budget was elaborated for each system with updated prices and all the items that intervened in each system were taken into account. When comparing the three systems, it was concluded that the best lightened slab alternative is the prestressed joist system, since this represents a direct cost saving of 12% compared to other systems, 33% savings in execution times, better quality in the finish of the slab bottom and better concrete strength (350 kg / cm2). As a main recommendation, it is important to start using innovative construction systems that generate economic benefits, but above all guarantee safe housing.

Full textCompare the influence of the loads of 3 types of partition walls and lightened slab in the structural design of a multifamily housing of 06 floors, in the district of Surco. The reinforced concrete design of the structural elements and the structural analysis were carried out following the guidelines of the current regulations. First, the building was structured for each case, in such a way that the drifts for the 3 options compared are as similar as possible. For this, the pre-sizing of all the structural elements was carried out. Then, the structural analysis of the building was carried out, taking into account that all the requirements of the E030 standard (2016) are met in the seismic analysis. With the results obtained from the structural analysis, the respective comparisons are made, in terms of drifts, shear forces in the base, weight of the building, fundamental periods, ratios of concrete and amounts of steel in structural elements.

Full textThe following thesis presents the results of a research work on the deficient self-constructive processes of the structures of a two-story house in the Single House Human Settlement - San Juan de Miraflores. We know that a large percentage of the population lives in self-built houses, vulnerable to any phenomenon of nature, as they do not meet the established construction parameters. To develop the problem and the objectives of this research thesis, the content of each chapter to be developed is summarized below. First, the main internal and / or external factors that motivated residents to self-build their homes are identified through a field survey of 30 residents of the Single House Human Settlement. Then the obtained data were processed and the results were plotted. Next, the conditions of these homes were determined and the damages that could negatively affect their behavior in the event of an eventual earthquake were detailed. In order to obtain the required information, an evaluation of 5 houses was carried out, where the necessary data was collected with the help of the residents and the president of the area in question. After carrying out this research, the self-construction guide was formed to improve the deficient construction processes where the optimal materials and procedures for the construction of a house will be found in the Single House Human Settlement. Finally, a two-story house model of an area of 120 m2 will be designed where the design of the main structural elements will be carried out, and a cost-benefit analysis will be carried out between two slab systems: the conventional system and the system with prestressed joists and polystyrene shells.
