Abstract:
After sustained penetrating wounds of the cornea and corneoscleral region, cilia are sometimes found in the anterior chamber of the eye that were not found and removed during the primary surgical treatment of the wound. They are usually extracted with forceps through a limbal incision with a conjunctival flap. The technique of this operation is complicated, because it is necessary to manipulate under the conditions of the emptied anterior chamber of the eye; in addition, the cilia may be lost in the iris stroma. An operating microscope and micro instrumentation are required for the operation.

Abstract:
It is generally accepted that geriatric patients are more sensitive to propofol than adults; thus, a dose-adjusted propofol is recommended for these patients during the induction of anesthesia. However, for patients aged 75 years and over, established guidelines for propofol induction doses do not provide dose references. To this end, we observed 80 surgical patients (female 39, male 41, American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status score I ∼ II) to access the appropriate dose of propofol for inducing loss of consciousness (LOC). Accordingly, patients were subdivided into group A (20 p

Abstract:
Background: Neoadjuvant chemotherapy has many advantages, including shrinking the tumor volume, reducing the scope of operation, decreasing the degree of trauma and providing evidence for postoperative chemotherapy. However, a certain degree changes of physiological are associated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Therefore, we suspect that the sensitive to general agents would be also changed after neoadjuvant chemotherapy. This study aimed to determine the minimum effective concentration represented by the EC50 of propofol for inducing loss of consciousness (LOC). Methods: Sixty patients with b
