<p>El trabajo estudia <em>Electra-Babel</em> de Lourdes Ortiz, recreación trágica de la historia de los Atridas, centrándose en los procesos de desmitificación y actualización del mito que dan lugar a la reelaboración de personajes clásicos, la creación de figuras transgresoras y el cuestionamiento de los tradicionales roles de género. Asimismo, se valora la combinación del plano trágico y el contemporáneo presente en la obra como reflejo de nuestra relación con los mitos.</p><p>The work studies Electra-Babel of Lourdes Ortiz, a tragic recreation of the Atridae´s myth focusing<br />on the demystification and actualization processes. We analyse how these processes led to the rework of classical characters, the creation of transgressor figures and the questioning of traditional gender roles. In addition, we consider the combination of the contemporary and tragic level in this version as a reflection of our relation with the myths.<br /><br /></p><p> </p>

Abstract:
La preocupación cultural por la inmigración y sus consecuencias para la identidad española en las últimas décadas han proliferado en textos literarios que convierten la superficie del cuerpo inmigrante, y en particular el cuerpo inmigrante femenino, en un pergamino para la re-inscripción del discurso español y patriarcal. La colección Fátima de los naufragios (1998) de Lourdes Ortiz cuenta con dos relatos que se enfocan en el cuerpo femenino marginado por intersecciones de raza, nacionalidad, clase y género. A la mujer inmigrante se la ve como virgen/puta, objetivo de los deseos y las ansiedades de los personajes españoles. Al explorar la perspectiva dominante de los españoles, Ortiz critica el sometimiento sexual y cultural inscrito problemáticamente en la membrana de la piel en general y del himen en particular. En lugar de eclipsar el cuerpo inmigrante, Lourdes Ortiz rastrea la superficie de la piel para destapar la política de la identidad española. Su ficción plantea una poética de la piel como un acercamiento táctil y ético a la representación cultural de la inmigración y la identidad en España.

Abstract:
En Luz de la memoria, Lourdes Ortiz utiliza sus propias experiencias vitales y su presente histórico para cuestionar el proceso de la Transición desde sus mismos orígenes. La autora crea una especie de alter ego ficticio, Enrique García Alonso. Este joven, al igual que ella, formó parte de la generación del 68 y su juventud quedó marcada por un fuerte compromiso político en la lucha marxista-leninista. Al situar la novela en aquel año clave de 1976 y en Madrid, Lourdes Ortiz ofrece una mirada testimonial sobre el proceso que preparó la llegada de la Transición, que no fue tan prometedor ni feliz como se suele decir. El desajuste y las esperanzas frustradas de Enrique en la novela lo ponen de manifiesto. La novelista crea para ello un juicio ficticio entre nuevos vencedores y vencidos en el que la injusticia conduce a Enrique a un estado de crisis personal. Para él, el suicidio y las drogas se convierten en las únicas escapatorias.

La colección de relatos de Lourdes Ortiz, Voces de mujer, publicada por primera vez en 1991 bajo el título Los motivos de Circe y reeditada en 2007, está dedicada a los grandes personajes femeninos de la mitología griega, así como de la tradición judeocristiana. Mediante un lenguaje teñido de lirismo y cuidadosamente premeditado, la autora logra transmitir los procedimientos psicológicos de sus personajes a partir de un breve argumento, enriquecido y cargado de intensidad gracias a una serie de bellas imágenes sugestivas, al complejo uso de la metáfora y a los tiempos verbales intencionalmente elegidos.Este trabajo se propone investigar el concepto del tiempo en los cuentos de Lourdes Ortiz (ruptura con la linealidad del relato, construcciones paralelas y cíclicas, la distribución de los tiempos verbales y referencias temporales) elaborado en función del objetivo principal de la autora: desentrañar el interior de estas complejas figuras ancestrales y trasmitir de este modo una visión humanizada de los grandes relatos de nuestra memoria colectiva.

Abstract:
Le présent travail de recherche entend passer au crible l’Histoire contemporaine de l’Espagne grâce à la production romanesque de Lourdes Ortiz. Écrivaine révélée avec son premier roman Luz de la memoria en 1976, dans lequel elle brosse le portrait de sa génération, Lourdes Ortiz cherche à réhabiliter la mémoire des vaincus de la future Transition et à faire émerger les vérités cachées. En ce sens, cette thèse s’attache à étudier exhaustivement trois romans Luz de la memoria (1976), La fuente de la vida (1995) et Andrés (1971) un roman jamais publié, en adoptant une approche à la fois littéraire, historique, sociale et politique. À partir de différentes historiographies, d’ouvrages consacrés à l’écrivaine, d’archives privées, de commentaires de la propre auteure, ce travail vise à analyser quelle est la nature du positionnement idéologique de cette ancienne militante du Parti Communiste Espagnol face à des évènements historiques qu’elle a vécus. Parallèlement, il s’agit d’appréhender dans quelle mesure les dispositifs formels adoptés dans ses récits invitent le lecteur à remettre en question le discours dominant. Ce travail vise à actualiser la connaissance de cette écrivaine engagée, dont la critique politique lucide et clairvoyante propose un autre regard sur les enjeux de l’Histoire contemporaine
The present thesis aims to examine Spain’s contemporary History with a fine-tooth comb thanks to Lourdes Ortiz’ novels production. This author became known because of her first novel Luz de la Memoria published in 1976, in which she paints her generation’s portrait and attempted to redeem the memory of the coming Transition victims, through hidden truths yet to be unearthed. With this in mind, this PhD dissertation endeavours to study three novels exhaustively, Luz de la memoria (1976), La Fuente de la vida (1995) and Andrés (1971) - the latter being unpublished – while approaching literature, history, society and politics at the same time. Through different historiographies, publications dedicated to the writer, private archives and commentaries from the author herself, this study aims to analyse what would be the ideological positioning of this former Spanish Communist Party activist, compared to the historical events she went through. In parallel, this work is about to apprehend how the formal orientations she is using in her novels would tempt the reader to reconsider the dominant thinking. This thesis intends to bring this committed writer to light, whose lucid and clear-sighted political criticism offers another view to the contemporary History stakes

Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to facilitate dialogue between the narrative fiction of three Spanish women novelists (Carmen Martin Gaite, Rosa Montero, and Lourdes Ortiz) and key concepts in the writings of Russian theorist Mikhail Bakhtin. The thesis centres on the concept of dialogue, both within and beyond textual boundaries. Dialogue may be an integral part of a narrative, where at a most basic level, characters are engaged in conversation; the thesis starts by focusing on texts which contain a split narrative voice, resulting in intratextual dialogue between two conversation partners, or interlocutors. On a second level, there may be a dialogue between the diverse levels of a more complex narrative; the texts analysed in the third chapter demonstrate this further fragmentation of the narrating voice. In these novels, a plurality of voices may be found, as well as written texts produced by the characters. All of these internal dialogues make up what is known as intratextuality and contribute to a text's heteroglossia. A further category of dialogue occurs when a text refers, by citation, mimicry, parody or revision, to other, external texts. This dialogue between texts is intertextuality; a fourth chapter develops an analysis of intertextual dialogues between independent novels or entire genres. These divisions of the thesis can only be relative, as will be seen when overlaps occur. The conclusion offers a discussion of a novel by Martin Gaite which brings together all of the three elements (dialogue, heteroglossia, and intertextuality)previously discussed separately. The fragments, strands, and webs referred to in the introduction to the thesis indicate the complexity of contemporary narrative fiction written by women; these. texts are composed of fragments of other, pre-existing discourses, combined to produce various strands of plot and overlapping webs of intrigue. Dialogue emerges as a salient feature of contemporary narrative fiction written by women. Whether it is also a feature of texts written by men, and the implications of their use of this strategy, still remains to be seen. By concentrating on women novelists, the thesis illustrates how Bakhtin's theory can be applied to a feminist analysis and a gendered reading of literature; and indicates the many substantial connections that exist between the texts produced from the late 1970s to early 19908 by the three different Spanish women writers.

Les contaminations entrainent des dégradations générant des dysfonctionnements des sols et des atteintes à leurs fonctions écologiques. Le phytomanagement, qui utilise des espèces végétales pour extraire, contenir ou dégrader des polluants, apparaît comme une solution adaptée pour produire de la biomasse végétale tout en favorisant la réhabilitation de ces sols délaissés. Les approches récentes s’accordent sur l'importance des associations végétales dans l’optimisation de ces dispositifs. Ce projet de thèse s’articule autour d’un dispositif agroforestier novateur, associant la grande ortie (Urtica dioica L.) à une plante modèle dans le domaine, le peuplier. Dans des plantations de peuplier, l’ortie offre de nouvelles perspectives liées à son aptitude à se développer spontanément sur des sites contaminés et à la qualité de sa fibre végétale, utilisables pour la fabrication de biomatériaux.A partir de deux sites ateliers contaminés par les éléments trace métalliques (ETM) et différentes approches disciplinaires, ces travaux ont permis i) de mieux comprendre le fonctionnement de cedispositif peuplier-ortie à l’interface rhizosphérique et sa réponse aux ETM via des approches de barcoding environnemental et de métabolomique ciblée ii) d’appréhender le rôle des plantes modèles dans la restauration écologique de ces sites au travers d’études phytosociologique et entomologique et évaluer l’implication des communautés associées dans les flux d’ETM par uneapproche écotoxicologique, et finalement iii) de caractériser et optimiser le potentiel économique de ce dispositif selon une approche agroécologique. Enfin, cette thèse ambitionne d’être un travail de référence pour les futurs projets de phytomanagement basés sur des associations arbres – orties
Contamination generates soil degradations and dysfunction, affecting many ecological function. Phytomanagement, which uses plants to extract, contain or degrade contaminants, represents a suitable solution for producing plant biomass while promoting the rehabilitation of these marginal lands. Recent approaches highlight the importance of plant associations to improve the efficiency of phytomanagement applications. This thesis focused on an innovative agroforestry system, combining stinging nettle (Urtica dioica L.) with a model plant for phytomanagement, poplars. Within poplar plantations, nettle offers new perspectives related to its ability to spontaneously develop at contaminated sites and to the quality of its plant fibre, which can be used for the manufacture of biomaterials.Based on two field trials conducted at trace metals (TM) contaminated sites and several scientific fields, the present work enables i) to better understand the functioning of this poplar-nettle agrosystem at the rhizospheric interface and its response to TM using environmental barcoding and a targeted metabolomics approaches, ii) to estimate its involvement in the ecological restoration of these sites through phytosociological and entomological studies and to determine the role of these communities on TM flows through an ecotoxicological approach, and finally iii) to evaluate and optimize the economic potential of this system through an agroecological approach. Finally, this thesis aims to be a reference work for future phytomanagement projects based on tree - nettle associations
