Traditionally, from production to distribution, electrical energy is AC-supported for compatibility reasons and easy voltage level transformation. However, nowadays most electric loads need DC power to work properly. A single high-efficiency central AC-DC power converter may be advantageous in eliminating several less efficient AC-DC embedded converters, distributed all over a reside

Low-frequency noise is difficult to suppress by passive control using a sound absorbing material. Active noise control is expected to be an effective method against low-frequency noise. Minimizing the total acoustic power emitted by a sound source causes a zero-control power phenomenon. In the zero-control power phenomenon, the absorption and blowout of sound energy around the control sound source (control sound source) are balanced, and the time average of the control power come into zero. Thus, control power suppression may be able to minimize total acoustic power. Previous studies have assu

The centralized action (i.e., power factor control) is decoupled from the decentralized one (i.e., voltage support) due to the significant disparity in dynamics of the commands sent to the active front-end variable frequency drives (AFE-VFDs). The AFE-VFDs are embedded with a proposed V-Q inverse droop curve, while being remotely coordinated by a central controller using a low-bandwidth comm
