Abstract This article investigates factors influencing Thai travelers' selection of traveling modes: lowcost carriers and a full-service airline in Thailand. The field data were collected using the revealed preference technique. The results on travelers' perceptions show that fare and safety concerns are most satisfied by low-cost carriers and full-service airline travelers, respectively.
