Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui luas perubahan hutan dan lahan pertanian di Kabupaten Gayo Lues dalam kurun waktu 11 tahun, dari tahun 2005 hingga 2015. Teknik yang digunakan yaitu digitasi citra satelit Kabupaten Gayo Lues tahun 2005, 2010 dan 2015 menggunakan ArcMap 10.1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kabupaten Gayo Lues mengalami perubahan hutan menjadi lahan pertanian pada tahun 2005 seluas 2.361,36 ha (0,48%), tahun 2010 seluas 8.823,71 ha (1,83%) dan tahun 2015 seluas 26.301,54 ha (5,56 %). Abstrak: Serai wangi salah satu komoditas ekspor agroindustri yang dapat menjadi andalan bagi Indonesia untuk mendapatkan devisa.
