High-resolution gravity data from the Gravity Recovery and Interior Laboratory spacecraft have clarified the origin of lunar mass concentrations (mascons). Free-air gravity anomalies over lunar impact basins display bull’s-eye patterns consisting of a central positive (mascon) anomaly, a surrounding negative collar, and a positive outer annulus. We show that this pattern results from impact basin excavation and collapse followed by isostatic adjustment and cooling and contraction of a voluminous melt pool. We used a hydrocode to simulate the impact and a self-consistent finite-element model to simulate the subsequent viscoelastic relaxation and cooling. The primary parameters controlling the modeled gravity signatures of mascon basins are the impactor energy, the lunar thermal gradient at the time of impact, the crustal thickness, and the extent of volcanic fill.

Abstract Chang’E-4 landed in the South Pole-Aitken (SPA) basin, providing a unique chance to probe the composition of the lunar interior. Its landing site is located on ejecta strips in Von Kármán crater that possibly originate from the neighboring Finsen crater. A surface rock and the lunar regolith at 10 sites along the rover Yutu-2 track were measured by the onboard Visible and Near-Infrared Imaging Spectrometer in the first three lunar days of mission operations. In situ spectra of the regolith have peak band positions at 1 and 2 μm, similar to the spectral data of Finsen ejecta from the Moon Mineralogy Mapper, which confirms that the regolith's composition of the landing area is mostly similar to that of Finsen ejecta. The rock spectrum shows similar band peak positions, but stronger absorptions, suggesting relatively fresh exposure. The rock may consist of 38.1 ± 5.4% low-Ca pyroxene, 13.9 ± 5.1% olivine and 48.0 ± 3.1% plagioclase, referred to as olivine-norite. The plagioclase-abundant and olivine-poor modal composition of the rock is inconsistent with the origin of the mantle, but representative of the lunar lower crust. Alternatively, the rock crystallized from the impact-derived melt pool formed by the SPA-impact event via mixing the lunar crust and mantle materials. This scenario is consistent with fast-cooling thermal conditions of a shallow melt pool, indicated by the fine to medium-sized texture (<3 mm) of the rock and the SPA-impact melting model [Icarus 2012; 220: 730–43].

Most adult reef fish show site fidelity thus dispersal is limited to the mobile larval stage of the fish, and effective management of such species requires an understanding of the patterns of larval dispersal. In this study, we assess larval reef fish distributions in the waters west of the Big Island of Hawai‘i using bothin situand model data. Catches from Cobb midwater trawls off west Hawai‘i show that reef fish larvae are most numerous in offshore waters deeper than 3,000 m and consist largely of pre-settlement Pomacanthids, Acanthurids and Chaetodontids. Utilizing a Lagrangian larval dispersal model, we were able to replicate the observed shore fish distributions from the trawl data and we identified the 100 m depth strata as the most likely depth of occupancy. Additionally, our model showed that for larval shore fish with a pelagic larval duration longer than 40 days there was no significant change in settlement success in our model. By creating a general additive model (GAM) incorporating lunar phase and angle we were able to explain 67.5% of the variance between modeled andin situAcanthurid abundances. We took steps towards creating a predictive larval distribution model that will greatly aid in understanding the spatiotemporal nature of the larval pool in west Hawai‘i, and the dispersal of larvae throughout the Hawaiian archipelago.

Abstract We observed a harmonic noise (HN) in DEutscher Geräte-Pool für Amphibische Seismologie ocean-bottom seismometers (OBSs) data recorded from the Andaman–Nicobar region. The HN is characterized by sharp spectral peaks with a fundamental frequency and several overtones occurring at integer multiples of the fundamental frequency. We used an automated algorithm to quantify the occurrence of HN for the entire four-month deployment period (1 January 2014 to 30 April 2014). The algorithm detected more than 23 days of HN for some OBS stations. The spectral analysis of the hourly count of HN shows distinct lunar and solar tidal periodicities at 4.14, 6.1, 6.22, 12, and 12.4 hr as well as 13.66 days. The observed periodicities provide evidence of tidal triggering of HN. The HN is generated by the strumming of head buoys due to seafloor currents initiated by oceanic tides in the Andaman–Nicobar region.

The aim of the present study was to investigate the association among lunar cycle, menstrual cycle onset, and subjective sleep quality. Menstrual cycle onset data from the six most recent menstrual cycles were obtained for 529 women (aged 25–39 years) using the smartphone app Luna Luna. We also collected questionnaire survey data on sleep quality from each participant. Overall, there was no association between the onset of menstrual cycle and lunar phase. Interestingly, the proportion of good sleepers with menstrual cycle beginning during the light period was significantly higher than that during the dark period, while the proportion of poor sleepers with menstrual cycle beginning during the dark period was significantly higher than that during the light period. When participants were categorized by the combination of lunar phases (light, dark, neutral periods) in the two most recent menstrual cycle onsets, the “both dark period” group and the “other (light and dark) period” group showed the lowest proportion of good sleepers. Menstrual cycle onset in the dark period was associated with a deterioration in subsequent subjective sleep quality, which was more apparent with consecutive onsets in the dark period or at a rapidly changing lunar phase.

Наведено результати вивчення колекційного матеріалу гречки Національної колекції України різного еколого-географічного походження за господарськими та селекційно-цінними показниками. Проведено розподіл генофонду групи вивчення в залежності від екологічної приналежності сортів та форм. Із усього різноманіття виділено найбільш цінні зразки, які можна рекомендувати як джерела цінних ознак із підвищеними параметрами урожайності, продуктивності рослини, крупноплідності, що поєднуються із високою вирівняністю зерна; мають значну кількість суцвіть та високу їх фертильністю (озерненістю), генетично обумовлені параметри висоти рослини та кількості вузлів с зоні гілкування; характеризуються контрольованою тривалістю вегетаційного періоду, поєднаного із дружністю достигання, типом росту рослин, стійкістю до вилягання та осипання плодів; мають підвищені параметри посухостійкості та жаровитривалості.
Buckwheat is extremely receptive to adapt to the culture that was spread through the territory of most regions of the world (Eurasia, Australia, Africa, South and North America), and practically reached the limits of agriculture. It can be grown everywhere, where the frost-free period lasts more than 60 days and the average daily air temperature exceeds 17–18 0C, and the amount of lunar rainfall is 50–60 mm [3].
This geographical distribution led to a significant difference between the samples grown in different regions of the world, which was formed under the influence of environmental factors and served in the early stages as an adaptive mechanism.
The article presents the results of the study of the buckwheat collection material of the National Collection of Ukraine of different ecological and geographical origin by economic and selection-valuable indicators. The distribution of the gene pool of the study group is carried out depending on the ecological suitability of the varieties and forms. Of the variety, the most valuable samples are selected, which can be recommended as sources of valuable attributes with increased parameters of yield, plant productivity, and large-grain yield, which is combined with high grain leveling; which has a significant number of inflorescences and high fertility (lacustrine), genetically determined parameters of the height of the plant and the number of nodes from the branching zone; it is characterized by the controlled duration of the growing season, coupled with the achievement's friendliness, the type of plant growth, resistance to shedding and sinking of the fruits; and it also has increased parameters of drought resistance and heat resistance, etc.
Of great value is the wide representation in the selected material of samples of various ecological and geographical groups, which allows selection by one sign or another not to narrow the genetic basis of newly created varieties, to search among the source forms the most rational combination of features and properties. This is especially valuable in the conditions of rapid change of environmental factors, as well as the introduction of new directions of use of buckwheat and, as a result, search of alternative sources with a complex of non-typical for a modern high-grade material characteristics among the gene pool.

This study aimed to determinate the moon phase’s influence on Brunfelsia uniflora (Pohl.) D. Don. In January 2008, semi woody cuttings were collected in Curitiba, Brazil. The experiment was conducted in a randomly design with four treatments that represent the moon phases (new; full; waning and waxing). The cuttings were maintained inside a greenhouse. After 90 days the followings were analyzed: rooting percentage, number of roots, length of the three longer roots, un-rooted living cuttings, dead cuttings and cuttings with sprouts. It was also evaluated the amount of reducing sugar and total sugar. From the results obtained it was not possible conclude that the moon phases had any influence on the rooting of Brunfelsia uniflora.

Pretende-se, nesse trabalho, compreender como a escola p?blica vem se constituindo enquanto institui??o do fracasso para diversidade sexual e de g?nero. Parte-se do princ?pio de que o sistema escolar realiza uma opera??o de classifica??o social, deixando fora de seus muros quase todos e todas que n?o dialogam com a ?normalidade? heterossexual requerida pela ordem social vigente. Em um primeiro momento, ancoro-me nas vivencias de Profissionais da Educa??o do Ensino Fundamental da Rede P?blica Municipal da cidade do Natal-RN, considerando suas narrativas enquanto resultado das pr?ticas cotidianas, que denunciam as regras que as governam e que as produziram em um contexto mais amplo. Em seguida, procuro estabelecer dialogo com estudantes v?timas de xingamentos, chacotas e maus tratos por n?o atenderem ao padr?o de g?nero tido como ?normal? a ser vivenciado dentro da escola. This work aims to understand how the public school system has become a failing institution with regards to sexual and gender diversity. I start from the principle that the school system performs a social sorting operation, leaving out of its halls almost all people who don?t fit into the established heteronormative social order. First, I explore the experiences of primary school (Educa??o do Ensino Fundamental) professionals from the public network (Rede P?blica Municipal) of the city of Natal-RN. I consider their narratives a result of daily practices which denounce the rules that govern and produce them in a broader context. Then I aim to establish a dialogue with the students who are victims of name-calling, teasing and abuse for not aligning with the ?normal? gender standards. At this stage of the research, I conducted fieldwork at the State Secondary School of Rio Grande do Norte (Escola Estadual de Ensino M?dio). This investigation is guided by the following questions: What challenges need to be addressed in order to recognize the students who have been excluded from the school environment on account of sexual and/or gender differences; additionally, how can their classroom attendance and positive learning experience be ensured? To what degree is the school community concerned with building education practices which value and acknowledge sexual and gender diversity? The research goals were: to analyze how the school and its professionals deal with sexual and gender diversity, investigating which pedagogical practices silence, freeze and obstruct the diversity of student identities; examine how the school and its subjects work toward building new pathways for learning, for coexistence, and for facing the challenges of ?new? social demands such as homoaffection; observe the spaces that are cracked open by the presence and the voices of students who demand recognition of their existence.

Trata-se de um trilhar pela história da Amazônia, em que apresento um registro da história e memória do Polo Joalheiro/São José Liberto, situado em Belém do Pará, de maneira entrelaçada com as trajetórias de alguns de seus protagonistas, a fim de esmiuçar um caleidoscópio de experiências do mundo do trabalho, num contexto de criação e produção de joias artesanais. Neste sentido, sigo pelas veredas metodológicas e teóricas, principalmente, de Edward Thompson, Walter Benjamin, Paul Ricoeur, Jacques Le Goff, e Michel de Certeau, com a pretensão de configurar um voo acadêmico em que a teoria não se impusesse ao objeto, mas que dialogasse hermeneuticamente com os “rastros”, as “pegadas” que reuni para a pesquisa de meu doutoramento, em que a atenção dada foi para a relação entre história, memória, lembrança e esquecimento, tendo como cenário os desafios da micro-história,, história oral e história do presente. Usei, para tanto, fontes orais e escritas. O objetivo principal foi analisar os discursos e as práticas, em sua multiplicidade no cenário do Polo Joalheiro e dos seus segmentos sociais, ou seja, a trajetória, o saber fazer, a sociabilidade, tensões conflitos entre os atores, mestres, homens e mulheres, mestres e alunos (as), artesãos, administração, e a memória de implementação do programa. Desse modo, pude compreender o Polo Joalheiro como um lugar de memórias e histórias repletas de significados existenciais, manifestos nas múltiplas experiências de sucesso de realizações pessoais, profissionais e comerciais, no âmbito do criar e fazer joias artesanais.
It is a walk through the history of the Amazon, to present a record of the history and memory of the Polo Jeweler / São José Liberto, located in Belem, interlaced way with the trajectories of some of its protagonists, to scrutinize a kaleidoscope of the world of work experiences in a context of creation and production of handmade jewelry. In this sense, I follow the methodological and theoretical paths, especially, Edward Thompson, Walter Benjamin, Paul Ricoeur, Jacques Le Goff and Michel de Certeau, with the intention to set up an academic flight that the theory does not impose the object, but that dialoguing hermeneutically with "traces" the "footprints" that gathered for the research of my PhD, in which the attention was on the relationship between history, memory, remembering and forgetting, against the backdrop of the challenges of micro-history, , oral history and history of this. Used for both oral and written sources. The main objective was to analyze the discourses and practices in its multiplicity in the scenario Polo Jeweler and their social segments.

O sistema de justi?a criminal representa, historicamente, um campo f?rtil para as aproxima??es entre Psicologia e Direito. Nesta seara, podemos observar uma s?rie de mecanismos de controle social e gest?o penal da mis?ria postos em funcionamento cotidianamente como estrat?gia de manuten??o do modo de produ??o capitalista e seus princ?pios. As pr?ticas penais se imp?em com o aux?lio de diferentes discursos criminol?gicos e, concomitantemente, com o apoio de saberes laterais ao Direito, como a Psicologia. Neste campo de tens?es s?o flagrantes os processos de criminaliza??o da pobreza, seletividade penal e encarceramento em massa como dispositivos de classifica??o, conten??o e exterm?nio dos que s?o considerados excedentes ao capitalismo. Em meio a este cen?rio, interessou saber qual lugar tem sido destinado e ocupado pela Psicologia junto ? Justi?a Penal. O objetivo geral desta tese ?, portanto, analisar as rela??es existentes entre a Pol?tica Criminal e os discursos/pr?ticas psicol?gicos ligados ? Justi?a Penal no Brasil. O percurso metodol?gico trilhado iniciou-se com a revis?o da literatura nacional e internacional relacionada ? pol?tica criminal, saberes criminol?gicos tradicionais, criminologia cr?tica e psicologia jur?dica (principalmente ligada ? esfera penal). Como etapa complementar, foram acessados 84 pareceres psicol?gicos presentes em processos criminais de uma Vara de Execu??es Penais sediada em uma capital brasileira. No decorrer do debate te?rico travado ao longo do estudo, fragmentos dos documentos investigados foram confrontados com os postulados da criminologia cr?tica, referencial te?rico central da tese, com vistas a exemplificar argumentos e colaborar com o melhor entendimento da discuss?o apresentada. O trabalho aponta que as pr?ticas psicol?gicas ligadas ao campo penal s?o fortemente influenciadas por pressupostos das Criminologias Liberal e Positivista; que o trabalho do psic?logo majoritariamente corrobora a pol?tica criminal vigente; e que os fazeres psicol?gicos comprometidos com a defesa e promo??o dos direitos humanos ocupam posi??o contra-hegem?nica no ?mbito penal. The criminal justice system has historically represented a fertile field for the interaction between Psychology and Law. In this field, one can observe a series of mechanisms of social control and criminal management of misery which are put into operation daily as a strategy for maintaining the capitalist mode of production and its principles. Different criminological discourses as well as the support of other fields connected to Law, such as Psychology, contribute to imposing criminal practices. Processes of criminalization of poverty, criminal selectivity and mass imprisonment as devices for the classification, confinement and extermination of those considered surplus to capitalism are flagrant. In this scenario, we aimed at investigating the role that Psychology has been assigned and played within Criminal Justice. Therefore, the general objective of this thesis is to analyze the relationship between Criminal Politics and the psychological discourses / practices related to Criminal Justice in Brazil. The methodology involved a review of the national and international literature related to criminal politics, traditional criminological knowledge, critical criminology and legal psychology (mainly linked to the criminal sphere). As a complementary step, we accessed 84 psychological reports included in criminal proceedings of a Court of Criminal Appeals based in a Brazilian capital city. For the theoretical debate proposed in this study, excerpts from the analyzed documents were confronted with the postulates of critical criminology ? central theoretical framework for the thesis ? with a view to exemplifying arguments and collaborating with a better understanding of the discussion. The work points out that the psychological practices related to the criminal field are strongly influenced by the assumptions of Liberal and Positivist Criminologies; that the work of psychologists mostly corroborates current criminal politics; and that the psychological actions taken towards the defense and promotion of human rights occupy a counter-hegemonic position in the criminal sphere. The conclusions emphasize the need for the active participation of Psychology in the construction of a new ethical and political project of society; professional action as a resistance to social orthopedic practices and the reinvention of psychological practices in this field in order to overcome the bourgeois illusions of re-socialization, rehabilitation and re-education of perpetrators.

Resumo: Esta pesquisa buscou compreender a especificidade do lugar que o trabalho imigrante dekassegui ocupa na sociedade de classes japonesa. O fenômeno dekassegui tem como característica a burocratização do fluxo migratório e a migração seletiva decorrente da ancestralidade nipônica destes sujeitos. Esta particularidade se reflete em garantia de algumas condições razoáveis de subsistência, não obstante, não se traduz em relações de trabalho estáveis, incorrendo em uma inserção em nichos de trabalho reservados aos imigrantes desqualificados. Paralelamente, desde a década de 1990, as relações e condições de trabalho dos japoneses tendem a expansão da informalidade, aumento do turnover, rebaixamento salarial, part time job, entre outras condições laborais degradadas antes pouco expressivas. Foi realizada uma pesquisa de campo com dekasseguis retornados pós-crise econômica de 2008 para melhor compreensão do impacto da crise em suas vidas. Abstract: This research sought to understand the specificity of the place that immigrant labor Dekassegui occupies in Japan class society. Dekassegui phenomenon is characterized by the bureaucratization of the migration and selective migration resulting from Japanese ancestry. This peculiarity is reflected in reasonable conditions of subsistence, however, this peculiarity does not deprive them of into informal jobs and labor insertion in unskilled immigrant niches. Meanwhile, since the 1990s, the labor relationships and conditions of the Japanese working class tend to expansion of informality, increased turnover, lower wages, part time job, and other employment conditions not very evident over the past few decades. A field research was carried out with dekasseguis returned after 2008 economic crisis to better understand the impact of the crisis in their lives. Through these considerations, some questions that guide this dissertation are: the relationship between Dekassegui and the Japanese working class, ethnic difference as a differentiating factor and social class as an element that resembles

Os novos formatos e significados atribuídos aos lugares perante a globalização têm reflexos expressivos na produção do espaço, assim como no cotidiano. Em face das tecnologias de rede a serem implantadas no território do Espírito Santo, inúmeras variáveis se apresentam como possibilidades de novas formas de organização socioespacial. O objeto empírico da tese é o Polo Industrial e de Serviços de Anchieta (ES) no âmbito das relações estabelecidas entre Estado, mercado e redes globais. A hipótese é a de que as estratégias para efetivação do Polo Anchieta privilegiam os interesses do mercado, o que notadamente compromete os processos socioambientais do espaço coletivo e da paisagem. A redução do território à sua dimensão estritamente econômica rompe, de maneira profunda, a trama das relações estabelecidas historicamente nos lugares de vida. O Estado perde autonomia pública e abre mão do seu papel regulatório ao substituir largamente o planejamento por um imediatismo mercadófilo, beneficiando duplamente as grandes corporações: por um lado, permite a instalação dos objetos técnicos, e, por outro, viabiliza a modernização dos sistemas de engenharia e da logística de transportes, vetores fundamentais para a especialização produtiva do território. A tese investiga ainda as tendências de concentração econômica e tecnológica, preferencialmente no litoral e no entorno da Região Metropolitana da Grande Vitória, direcionadas por um Plano de governo, o que leva ao desenvolvimento desigual das redes de infraestrutura. Com isso, a rede técnica é expandida, mas aprofundam-se as diferenças regionais.New formats and meanings assigned to places as a result of globalization markedly influence space production, as well as daily life. In face of the network technologies that are about to be introduced into the Espirito Santo State territory, countless variables are proposed as possible new forms of social and spatial organization. This thesis empirical object is the Polo Industrial e de Serviços de Anchieta (ES) (Anchieta ES Industry and Service Center) in the context of the relationships established among state, market, and global networks. The hypothesis is that the strategies used to create the Anchieta Industry and Service Center will favor market interests, which will greatly affect common space and landscape, as far as their social-environmental processes are concerned. Reducing the territory to its strictly economic dimension severely breaks up the historically established web of relationships in the living places. The State loses its public autonomy and renounces its ruling role as planning is extensively replaced by a marketing immediacy that will twice benefit the large corporations: on one hand, it allows the set up of the technical objects, and on the other, it makes the modernization of engineering systems and transport logistics feasible, which are fundamental vectors towards the territory productive specialization. This thesis further investigates the economical and technological concentration tendencies, preferably along the coast and surrounding the metropolitan area of Grande Vitória, which are controlled by a government plan and lead to an uneven development of the infrastructure networks. In this way, the technical network is expanded, but the regional differences grow deeper.

Para a elabora??o desta tese, realizou-se uma ampla fundamenta??o te?rica, buscando identificar e compreender o papel do Estado e do mercado nas principais escolas do pensamento econ?mico. Procurou-se, tamb?m, retratar a hist?ria da responsabilidade social das empresas, citando o entendimento de v?rios autores acerca do tema, para que haja uma real compreens?o do termo. De acordo com a premissa defendida, nesta tese, de que todas as a??es divulgadas pelas empresas, via balan?o social, expressam o seu compromisso, efetuou-se um estudo de caso de uma empresa do ramo financeiro, para com esses dados, tentar comprovar se a mesma est?, de fato, realizando a??es de responsabilidade social. Para tanto, foi realizado um teste amparado em figura elaborada pelo autor com base na literatura dispon?vel. Este teste, denominado Teste de responsabilidade social ou compromisso social empresarial, ? resultante do entendimento, deste autor, acerca do que seriam a??es de responsabilidade social. Levando em considera??o aspectos legais, econ?mico-fiscal, de amplitude social e de real benef?cio ?s pol?ticas p?blicas instauradas pelo Estado. Ap?s a ampla revis?o bibliogr?fica realizada e o confrontamento com a realidade, via estudo de caso, conclui-se que as a??es divulgadas como de responsabilidade social n?o passam, em realidade do cumprimento do compromisso assumido pelas empresas com seus stakeholders, uma vez que tais a??es devem ir al?m desses limites. A denomina??o de compromisso social empresarial ? uma id?ia nova, cujo autor desta tese sugere que seja utilizada em substitui??o ? denomina??o de responsabilidade social das empresas. Conclui-se, ainda, que o Estado ? soberano para administrar as pol?ticas p?blicas sociais e que o ideal ? haver a conflu?ncia de for?as entre as iniciativas p?blicas e privadas, para que a universaliza??o dessas a??es seja poss?vel.

O presente trabalho tem como proposta analisar a fam?lia e a depend?ncia qu?mica na contemporaneidade, dando ?nfase para a discuss?o do lugar da fam?lia na pol?tica sobre drogas. Aborda a discuss?o sobre o uso e abuso de drogas e a depend?ncia qu?mica (entendida como doen?a) e sua repercuss?o na institui??o familiar no contexto da sociedade brasileira, evidenciando tamb?m as atuais pol?ticas sobre drogas e o percurso de avan?os e retrocessos inseridos na perspectiva da Reforma Sanit?ria. Al?m disso, ? trazido uma discuss?o em torno da fam?lia e suas novas configura??es na contemporaneidade, apresentando o seu lugar frente a doen?a da depend?ncia qu?mica e da pol?tica sobre drogas. Fam?lia esta que entra em processo de adoecimento assim como o dependente qu?mico, desenvolvendo a codepend?ncia. Tem como objetivo geral analisar a fam?lia do indiv?duo acometido pela doen?a da depend?ncia qu?mica no ?mbito das institui??es de sa?de mental no munic?pio de Nata/RN, demarcando o seu lugar na pol?tica de sa?de mental, sua visibilidade, seu protagonismo e os seus desafios. Os objetivos espec?ficos tratam de: Analisar os determinantes s?cio-hist?ricos que incidem na configura??o das pol?ticas p?blicas na ?rea da sa?de mental, demarcando a forma como estas v?m respondendo a crescente demanda da doen?a da depend?ncia qu?mica e o lugar da fam?lia na agenda dessas pol?ticas; analisar as a??es desenvolvidas nas institui??es voltadas ao tratamento da depend?ncia qu?mica, tendo presente o v?nculo ou n?o dessas institui??es ? proposta da Reforma Psiquiatra e Luta Antimanicomial; identificar como ocorre (e se ocorre) a aten??o ?s fam?lias (codependentes) durante o processo de tratamento do usu?rio de subst?ncias psicoativas (SPA) - dependente qu?mico; analisar os aspectos que denotam a visibilidade, o protagonismo e os desafios dos familiares no processo de tratamento, na condi??o de codependentes. O trabalho articula em seu percurso metodol?gico uma pesquisa bibliogr?fica, associadas a uma pesquisa de campo, em que foi aplicada entrevista semiestruturada com os sujeitos de pesquisa, profissionais das institui??es do universo de pesquisa e familiares que no per?odo da pesquisa de campo estava com algum membro de sua fam?lia em tratamento. No que tange aos resultados obtidos nesta pesquisa, cabe destacar o posicionamento dos sujeitos de pesquisa (profissionais da sa?de e familiares) em rela??o aos atuais servi?os voltados ao tratamento da depend?ncia qu?mica e acompanhamento com a fam?lia, que no ?mbito da pol?tica p?blica de sa?de mental se torna cada vez mais prec?ria. Concluindo, portanto, a necessidade em dar maior visibilidade para a problem?tica da depend?ncia qu?mica e as fr?geis estrat?gias de enfrentamento a esse problema que se configura como uma express?o da quest?o social; necessitando de um olhar diferenciado para todos os atores nele envolvido: usu?rio, fam?lia e sociedade.
The present work aims at analyzing the family and chemical dependency in the contemporary world, emphasizing the discussion of the place of the family in drug policy. It addresses the discussion about drug use and abuse and chemical dependency (understood as disease) and its repercussion in the family institution in the context of Brazilian society, also showing current drug policies and the path of advances and setbacks inserted in the perspective of the Reform Sanitary In addition, a discussion is brought about the family and its new configurations in the contemporary world, presenting its place in the face of the disease of chemical dependence and drug policy. Family is in the process of becoming ill as well as the dependent chemist, developing codependency. It has as general objective to analyze the family of the individual affected by the disease of the chemical dependence within the mental health institutions in the municipality of Nata / RN, demarking its place in the mental health policy, its visibility, its protagonism and its challenges. The specific objectives are: To analyze the socio-historical determinants that influence the configuration of public policies in the area of mental health, demarcating the way in which they are responding to the growing demand of the disease of the chemical dependence and the place of the family in the agenda of these policies; To analyze the actions developed in the institutions dedicated to the treatment of chemical dependence, bearing in mind the bond or not of these institutions to the proposal of the Reform Psychiatrist and Antimanicomial Struggle; To identify how (and if it occurs) the attention to families (codependentes) during the treatment process of the user of psychoactive substances (SPA) - chemical dependent; To analyze the aspects that denote the visibility, the protagonism and the challenges of the relatives in the process of treatment, in the condition of codependentes. The paper articulates in its methodological course a bibliographical research, associated with a field research, in which a semistructured interview was applied with the research subjects, professionals of the institutions of the research universe and family members who during the period of field research were with some member Of their family in treatment. Regarding the results obtained in this research, it is important to highlight the position of the research subjects (health professionals and family members) in relation to the current services aimed at the treatment of chemical dependency and follow-up with the family, which in the scope of public mental health policy Becomes increasingly precarious. Concluding, therefore, the need to give greater visibility to the problematic of chemical dependence and the fragile strategies of coping with this problem that is configured as an expression of the social question; Requiring a differentiated look for all the actors involved in it: user, family and society.

A presente dissertação consiste em investigar a produção de sentidos a respeito do lugar do homem em famílias matrifocais na cidade de São Paulo. O contexto da pesquisa está baseado em minha experiência no trabalho como técnico do serviço de Medidas Socioeducativa em meio aberto (MSEMA) na região de Campo Limpo, zona sul de São Paulo, entre o início do ano de 2012 e o início de 2013. Esse serviço é designado a jovens de 12 a 18 anos incompletos que estão em situação de conflito com a lei. Como técnico fui responsável pelo acompanhamento de muitos adolescentes em processo de medida socioeducativa Liberdade Assistida e Prestação de Serviço à Comunidade que contava com atendimentos individuais, familiares e atividades que envolviam o entorno social. A partir da noção de campo-tema cunhada por Peter K. Spink (2003), em que o campo não se limita ao âmbito espacial, mas a toda processualidade de temas que a ele está referido, utilizou-se um método em que o pesquisador se volta aos lugares e às micro relações ali existentes. Para tanto, fiz recortes em minha vivência para realizar estudos de casos e descrever cenas a fim de estabelecer possíveis ligações teóricas que puderam me ajudar a compreender os sentidos produzidos pelos familiares sobre o lugar dos homens dentro de diferentes dinâmicas familiares. Verificamos como a figura paterna encontra-se frequentemente nesse contexto: pouco conhecida (em sua história de vida e características pessoais), enfraquecida (por sua pouca influência familiar) e ausente (fisicamente). Em famílias monoparentais de chefia feminina em que está presente o filho homem, aqui estudadas, observou-se que esse se posiciona, e é posicionado, de maneira a executar funções consideradas tradicionais do homem da casa como o provimento econômico, de proteção e respeito, no entanto, a autoridade familiar é transferida para as mulheres da casa, em especial à mãe. O lugar do homem é afetado pelo da mulher que cada vez mais angaria certa autonomia pela crescente entrada no mercado de trabalho e, como nos casos apresentados, pelo acesso a programas de transferência de renda, especificamente, o Bolsa Família. Acumulam-se responsabilidades familiares pelas mulheres que sob a insígnia de fortes desempenham múltiplas funções, todavia, desgastam-se física e emocionalmente, enquanto os homens encontra-se, de maneira geral, desresponsabilizadosThis dissertation investigates the existing production of meanings that there are about the man\'s place in \"matrifocal\" families in São Paulo. The context of the research is based on my experience working as a Socio-Educative Measures Technician in open environment (MSE-MA) in the region of Campo Limpo, in the southern part of São Paulo, between early 2012 and early 2013. This service is designed for young people between 12 and 18 years old in situations of conflict with the law. As a coach I was responsible for monitoring many teenagers under socio-educative measurements - Assisted Freedom and Community Service - which included individual sessions, sessions with the family, and activities involving their social environment. The research theme emerged from this field. From the \"theme-field\" notion coined by Peter K. Spink (2003), where the field is not limited to the spatial domain, but the whole processuality of themes it refers to, a method where the researcher turns their attention to the places and micro relations therein, was used. For that purpose, I selected parts from my work experience from which to conduct case studies and describe scenes in order to establish possible theoretical links that helped me understand the meanings produced by the family members about the place of men within different family dynamics. We noticed how the father figure often appears in this context: little known (life history and personal characteristics), weakened (has little family influence) and absent (physically). In single-parent families with female leadership where a son is present, the latter places himself, and is positioned, to perform the functions considered traditional for the \"man of the house\", such as economic provision, protection and respect, however, the family authority is transferred to the women of the house, especially to the mother. The man\'s place is affected by the woman\'s, who has increasingly more autonomy caused by growing participation in the labor market and, as happened in the cases presented, access to income transfer programs such as Bolsa Família (a Brazilian welfare program). Family responsibilities are accumulated by women who, fitting under the banner of \"strong\", develop multiple roles. However they become physically and emotionally worn out, while men are, in general, not held accountable

This book chronicles the work of Frederik Pohl, one of the leading figures in the field of science fiction (SF). Pohl's literary output spans nine decades from his poem “Elegy to a Dead Planet: Luna,” published in 1937, to his final book, All the Lives He Led, and The Way the Future Blogs. In between he wrote novels, short stories, story collections, and nonfiction books; edited anthologies and SF magazine issues; and wrote countless essays, editorials, and reviews. The book examines how Pohl's publishing activity and his work as a literary agent in the late 1940s and early 1950s shaped the SF field. It also considers the role played by Pohl in the development of SF as a more or less respectable area of academic study and in the creation and development of SF fandom.

Introdução: O Programa Nacional de Imunizações (PNI) tem larga experiência em organizar campanhas de vacinação em massa, atingindo elevadas coberturas vacinais. Tais realizações são passíveis de desafios, principalmente no que concerne a comunicação com a população na delimitação de grupos priorizados e delimitação de etapas e calendários de vacinação (DOMINGUES CM, 2021). Devido a pandemia da COVID-19, revela-se de grande importância a atuação do voluntariado nas ações de combate ao vírus. Objetivo: Relatar a experiência da atuação de acadêmicos de enfermagem voluntários durante a campanha de vacinação contra a COVID-19. Materiais e Métodos: Estudo descritivo com abordagem qualitativa, do tipo relato de experiência realizado em um campo de vacinação na região metropolitana de Belém, no período de março de 2021. As ações consistiram na atuação dos acadêmicos em um polo campanhista no Estado do Pará. Relato de Experiência: As ações de voluntariado por acadêmicos de enfermagem foram desenvolvidas no mês de março de 2021, onde puderam atuar como registradores. Tal função auxiliou na recepção da categoria de vacinação compreendida por idosos. A atividade foi desenvolvida em lugar amplo, porém com certa aglomeração, a fila dos idosos se tornou um caos devido um déficit na organização e orientação. Evidenciando um desafio e propiciando um tempo de espera ainda maior, expondo tanto a equipe voluntária, quanto os idosos a uma possível infecção por covid-19. Além disso, os idosos em sua maioria possuíam baixa escolaridade e estavam sem acompanhantes, o que necessitava de uma atenção especial no momento da triagem para explicar as informações de maneira clara e em uma linguagem fácil e compreensível. Dessa forma, foi possível observar que muitos não tinham as informações corretas de como proceder para se vacinar, havendo equívoco no momento de apresentar os documentos e certo constrangimento ao não saber relatar o número para contato de algum familiar ou seu mesmo. Conclusão: Dessa forma, é indubitável a necessidade de voluntário para auxiliar na campanha de vacinação do novo Coranavírus, haja vista, que muitos profissionais de saúde estão cansados fisicamente e emocionalmente, além disso, possuem receio ao expor a si e seus familiares.
