Abstract:
I både den svenska och den danska kursplanen för historia på grundskolan står det att eleverna ska känna till det egna landets kulturarv respektive historia. Men vad är kulturarvet och hur förmedlas det? Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka det svenska och det danska kulturarvet under en tidsperiod då länderna har många gemensamma beröringspunkter, d.v.s. svensk stormaktstid. Undersökningen jämför tre svenska och två danska historieläroböcker. Metoden som används är att ställa beskrivningar och förklaringar av skeenden, händelser och aktörer i de olika läroböckerna mot varandra. Dessutom jämförs läroböckerna till viss del också kvantitativt. Resultatet av undersökningen visar att de två ländernas kulturarv från denna tid, i alla fall det konstruerade kulturarv som finns i läroböckerna, har mycket gemensamt åtminstone gällande den utrikespolitiska historien som är den som främst undersöks. Skillnaderna ligger i att de danska läroböckerna främst fokuserar på historien ur ett danskt perspektiv och de svenska ur ett svenskt perspektiv. Av denna anledning är vissa händelser inte lika viktiga i båda länderna.I diskussionen diskuteras även hur den danska kanon som införs nästa läsår kan tänkas påverka kulturarvet och om hur det, i läroböckerna, befintliga kulturarvet om tidsperioden svensk stormaktstid kan tänkas påverka läsarnas historiemedvetande.
Both the Swedish and the Danish syllabus for history in elementary school says that the students should be acquainted with the own country’s cultural heritage and history. But what is the cultural heritage and how is it being told? The aim of this paper is to examine the Swedish and the Danish cultural heritage during a time period when the countries have many common interests, the time period when Sweden was a great power. The examination compares three Swedish and two Danish history books. The method that’s being used is to put the descriptions and explanations of occurrences and characters in the different history books against each other and also to do a quantitative comparison of the history books. The result of the examination showed that the cultural heritage about the 17th century given in the examined history books has a lot in common about the history of foreign politics which is the main examination area. The differences lie in the fact that the Danish history books mainly concentrates on history from a Danish point of view and the Swedish history books from a Swedish point of view. This means that some occurrences aren’t equally important in both countries history books. Finally it’s being discussed what effect the Danish canon that is being introduced next term can have on the Danish cultural heritage. It’s also being discussed what effect the cultural heritage existing in history books can have on the readers historical consciousness.

Abstract:
In the late 20th century, historical research on the 1632 Battle of Lützen, a major engagement of the Thirty Years War (1618-1648), came to a dead end after 150 years of mostly unfruitful discussions. This thesis examines the battle’s military material culture, including historical accounts and physical evidence in the form of archaeological finds from the battlefield to provide new insight into the battle’s events, but also to develop a methodology which allows a comparison between two very different sources: the eyewitness account and the ‘lead bullet.’ To achieve this aim, the development of 17th century firearms is highlighted through an assessment of historical sources and existing weapons and by an evaluation of various collections of ‘lead bullets’ from Lützen and other archaeological sites, thus providing a working baseline for interpreting bullet distribution patterns on the battlefield. The validity of bullet distribution patterns is also dependant on the deposit process during the battle and metal detector survey methodologies, which also provides vital information for battlefield surveys in general. In an overarching methodology, statements from battle eyewitnesses are evaluated and compared to bullet distribution patterns, in conjunction with the historic landscape, equipment and tactics. Together, these ultimately lead to a better understanding of the battle and its historic narrative, by asking why reported events actually did not happen at Lützen. This last element is also important for understand the reliability of early modern battle accounts in general. Overall, a more general aim of this case study has been to provide a better insight into the wider potentials of early modern battle research in Europe.

Studies on the feeding of fishes provide relevant information for understanding the mechanisms allowing the coexistence and exploitation of resources by several species of fishes and also by other components of the aquatic communities.. The objective of the present study was to analyze in detail the feeding habits and the ecomorphology of the fish species Pimelodus fur and Leporinus reinhardti as well as to preliminarily characterize the fedding habits and describe the morphological characteristics of other nine species of fish occurring in a stretch of the Upper São Francisco River Basin. Fishes were sampled in four periods: December 2006 and 2008 (rainy periods) and April 2007 and June 2008 (dry periods) using with gillnets, seine nets and sieve. The results on the feeding ecology of P.fur revealed that this species belong to the trophic gulid of the insectivores, since insects represent between 74.0% and 79.0% of its diet. There were seasonal changes in the diet of P. fur, with food items essentially authochtonous, as aquatic insects larvae being consumed in the dry periods and insects from terrestrial sources, as Araneae and Hymenoptera being added to its diet during the rainy periods, in both São Francisco River and its tributary Piumhi River. In these rivers P. fur displayed high trophic specialization, being a specialist in consuming aquatic insects. It was also observed great overlap in the food items consumed by the different size classes of P. population sampled in both rivers. L. reinhardti had intense feeding activity in both seasons dry and rainy periods. This species belong to the trophic guild of herbivores, being its diet composed mainly by plant material. The feeding spectrum of L. reinhardti is wider in São Francisco River than in the Piumhi River, what can be a consequence of the fact that the gallery forest in the São Francisco River is better preserved in this region than that of the Piumhi River. There were seasonal changes in the diet of L. reinhardt, with some food items as Trichoptera and Hymenoptera only being consumed in the rainy periods. There was no significant change in the diet of L. reinhardti along its development, with preference by plant material in all size classes. L. reinhardti is a feeding specialist with narrow niche breath. There was no feeding niche overlap between P. fur and L. reinhardti in any seasonal period or river stretch studied. Although feeding activity of both P. fur and L. reinhardti was intense during all periods analyzed, the narrow feeding niche breath and the large diet overlap among the size classes within each species population indicate that food sources are abundant in this part of the Upper São Francisco River basin. Regarding the morphological characteristics there was also trophic structuring of the species studied in Piumhi and São Francisco Rivers, with segregation between the body shape of the specialists (insectivores and piscivores) and the more generalist feeders (omnivores and herbivores).
Os estudos sobre a alimentação de peixes fornecem informações importantes para a compreensão dos mecanismos que permitem a coexistência e exploração dos recursos por várias espécies de peixes e pelos demais componentes das comunidades aquáticas. O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar detalhadamente o hábito alimentar e a ecomorfologia das espécies de peixe Pimelodus fur (mandi-branco) e Leporinus reinhardti (piau-de-três-pintas), bem como descrever preliminarmente os hábitos alimentares e as características morfológicas de outras nove espécies de peixes com ocorrência em um trecho da bacia do alto rio São Francisco. Os peixes foram coletados em dezembro de 2006 e dezembro de 2008 (períodos chuvosos) e abril de 2007 e junho de 2008 (períodos secos), utilizando-se redes de espera, redes de arrasto, tarrafas e peneiras. Os resultados sobre a alimentação de P. fur revelaram que esta espécie pertence à guilda trófica insetívora, sendo que os insetos representaram entre 74 a 70% de sua dieta. Foi observada variação estacional na alimentação de P. fur, com itens alimentares essencialmente autóctones sendo consumidos no período de seca (larvas de insetos aquáticos) e com artrópodos de origem terrestre (Araneae e Hymenoptera) sendo adicionados à sua dieta no período chuvoso em ambos os rios estudados, Rio São Francisco e Rio Piumhi. Nos rios estudados P. fur apresentou elevada especialização trófica, sendo uma espécie especialista no consumo de insetos aquáticos. Verificou-se também elevada sobreposição alimentar entre as diferentes classes de tamanho de P. fur na população amostrada em ambos os rios. L. reinhardti tem uma alta atividade alimentar em ambos os períodos climáticos, seca e cheia. A espécie L. reinhardti pertence à guilda alimentar herbívora, sendo a sua dieta composta preferencialmente por vegetais superiores. O espectro alimentar de L. reinhardti é mais amplo no Rio São Francisco, do que no Rio Piumhi, provavelmente pelo fato desse trecho do rio apresentar vegetação ciliar mais preservada. Verificou-se variação estacional na alimentação do piau-três-pintas, onde alguns itens como fragmentos de insetos, Trichoptera e Hymenoptera só foram consumidos na estação chuvosa. Não houve variação na dieta ao longo do desenvolvimento de L. reinhardti, sendo observada a preferência por material vegetal em todas as classes de tamanho. L. reinhardti é um peixe especialista, com pequena amplitude de nicho em todas as classes de tamanho. Não ocorreu sobreposição alimentar entre P. fur e L. reinhardti em nenhum dos períodos ou rio avaliados. Embora a atividade alimentar de P. fur e L. reinhardti tenha sido intensa em todos os períodos, a pequena amplitude do nicho e a grande sobreposição alimentar entre as diferentes classes de tamanho em cada espécie sugere que os recursos alimentares sejam abundantes neste trecho do Alto Rio São Francisco. Observou-se estruturação trófica quanto à morfologia das espécies estudadas nos rios Piumhi e São Francisco, com a separação entre as formas do corpo das espécies mais especialistas (insetívoros e piscívoros) daquelas das espécies mais generalistas (onívoro e herbívoro).

The objective of this work was to study the reproductive biology of pacu (Myleus micans, Lütken, 1875) from San Francisco River, in Three Marias region, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Reproductive studies are important tools to understand natural processes which regulates a population, considering the low level of knowledge on the biology of this species. A total of 363 fishes were collected in this work, 169 males and 194 females, captured monthly, from June 2002 to May 2003, in a 5km area in San Francisco River, between the Hidreletric Plant (UHE) and the "Great Waterfall". Data on rain precipitation and water parameters (temperature, oxygen, and pH), were obtained during period of fish collection. Morphologic description of testicules and ovaries, and gametogenese process (spermeogenese and ovogenese), determination of gonadal maturation stages and type of spawning were performed. Hystological analyses, as well as, quantitative analysis of the reproductive activity (biological indices), standard weight/length relation, and population structure (sexual ratio) were done. The results has shown that morphologic variations in M. micans testicules, during the reproductive process are related to gonadal maturation stages, and morphologic characteristics of ancestry espermatogenics cells had been similar to other Brazilian bone fishes. Macroscopic analyses of ovaries had shown that this species has morphologic and anatomical similarity to other Brazilian bone fishes. Anatomical variations in the ovaries observed in some other species had not been verified. Post-ovulatories or empty folicules in M. micans were probably originary from hipertrophic process of foliculares cells, and folicular atresia was frequently observed. Six gonadal maturation stages in males and five in females had been identified. The weight-length relation for males and females of M. micans was: Wt = 2,68 x 10-2. Lt2,91(r2 = 0,989). The studied population presented alometric growth (b < 3). The population structure showed a ratio of 53,44% of females and 46.56% of males, approximately 1:1.
O objetivo deste trabalho foi estudar a biologia reprodutiva do pacu (Myleus micans, Lütken, 1875) do Rio São Francisco, na região de Três Marias, Minas Gerais, Brasil, considerando que o estudo reprodutivo é um importante instrumento na busca do entendimento de parte dos processos naturais que regulam uma população, e que pouco se conhece sobre a biologia desta espécie. Os exemplares utilizados, totalizando 363, sendo 169 machos e 194 fêmeas, foram capturados mensalmente, durante o período de junho de 2002 a maio de 2003, e agrupados por bimestres, em um trecho de aproximadamente 5 km a jusante do rio São Francisco, na região de Três Marias, entre a Usina Hidrelétrica (UHE) e a “Cachoeira Grande”. Foram também obtidos dados sobre a precipitação pluviométrica e fatores físico-químicos da água (temperatura, oxigênio, e pH), durante período de coleta dos peixes. Foi realizada a descrição morfológica das gônadas (testículos e ovários) e do processo de gametogênese (espermeogênese e ovogênese), e determinação dos estádios de maturação gonadal e do tipo de desova. Foram também realizadas análises histológicas, análise quantitativa da atividade reprodutiva (índices biológicos), relação peso corporal/comprimento padrão, e estrutura populacional e proporção sexual. As variações morfológicas observadas nos testículos de pacu, M. micans, durante o processo reprodutivo estão relacionadas aos estádios de maturação gonadal, e as características morfológicas das células de linhagem espermatogênicas foram similares àquelas de outros teleósteos brasileiros. Os ovários espécie apresentaram macroscopicamente, padrão morfológico e relações anatômicas similares ao da maioria dos peixes teleósteos brasileiros, não sendo verificadas variações anatômicas como aquelas observadas nos ovários de algumas espécies. Nos folículos pós-ovulatórios ou vazios, estruturas remanescentes nos ovários pós-desova, observaram-se hipertrofia das células foliculares, e a atresia folicular foi freqüente em ovócitos vitelogênicos de ovários desovados. Foram identificados seis estádios de maturação gonadal em machos e cinco em fêmeas. A relação peso-comprimento para machos de M. micans foi: Wt = 0,028265311.Lt2,8954 (r2 = 0,985); e para fêmeas de: Wt = 0,024740592.Lt2,94397 (r2 = 0,982). A população estudada apresentou crescimento alométrico (b < 3). A estrutura populacional, mostrou uma proporção de 53,44% de fêmeas e 46,56% de machos, de aproximadamente 1:1.

In the Neotropics, the major fishes reproductive stimuli are rainfall, temperature and flood. Environmental changes caused by humans affects reproduction directly. The aim of this study was to compare the differences in reproductive investment of Serrasalmus brandtii (native) and Metynnis maculatus (introduced) and its relationship with hydrologic modification in an area of Lower São Francisco. Bimonthly samples were conducted from December/2013 to August/2012 in the main channel of the river, between Propriá (SE) and Porto Real do Colégio (AL) with gillnets of different mesh. Rainfall, temperature, elevation and river flow data were also obtained. The specimens were measured, weighed and dissected to characterize the stage of gonadal maturation, gonad, liver and coelomic fat weight to calculate the gonadosomatic (GSI), hepatossomatic and coelomic fat index. A portion of the left ovary was dissociated to calculate fish fecundity and measurement of oocytes. Serrasalmus brandtii (109 females and 102 males) showed no significant difference in the sex ratio, however M. maculatus (166 females and 259 males) exhibited 1.5 males for each female (χ ²: 20.3, p<0.05). The asynchrony between the sexes, absence of reproductive peaks and lack of correlation between GSI and environmental characteristics observed in S. brandtii indicate losses coming from hydrologic modification. The new environment does not seems to have been a barrier in synchrony (Spearman 0.72, p<0.05), and reproductive process of M. maculatus. Environmental pressures and competition with introduced species may have resulted in earlier maturation of S. brandtii (female: 105mm, male: 92mm) to compensate the losses in its population. Despite the similarity in oocyte size among the species, the positive correlation between body size and absolute fecundity (Pearson: 0.608, p<0.05), allowed a greater number of oocytes in S. brandtii (U: 398, p<0.05) due to its larger size. Both species have opportunistic strategy, characterized by medium-sized body and high reproductive output, with fractional spawning, small oocytes and high relative fecundity. The high colonizing ability of M. maculatus allied to river flow changes facilitated its establishment. Preventive measures should be taken to minimize their impacts on native fauna.
Na regiao neotropical, os principais estimulos reprodutivos para peixes sao pluviometria, temperatura e cheia dos rios. Modificacoes das caracteristicas ambientais em consequencia das acoes antropicas interferem diretamente na reproducao. O objetivo do presente estudo foi comparar a reproducao de Serrasalmus brandtii (nativa) e Metynnis maculatus (introduzida) e sua relacao com a modificacao hidrologica em uma area do Baixo Sao Francisco. Coletas bimestrais ocorreram de agosto/2012 a dezembro/2013 na calha principal do rio, entre Propria (SE) e Porto Real do Colegio (AL) com redes de espera de distintas malhas. Dados de pluviometria, temperatura, cota e vazao do rio tambem foram obtidos. Os especimes foram medidos, pesados e dissecados para caracterizacao do estadio de maturacao gonadal, peso das gonadas, figado e gordura celomica para calculo do indice gonadossomatico (IGS), hepatossomatico e de gordura celomica. Uma porcao do ovario esquerdo foi dissociada para calculos de fecundidade e medicao de ovocitos. Serrasalmus brandtii (109 femeas e 102 machos) nao apresentou diferenca significativa na razao sexual, diferente de M. maculatus (166 femeas e 259 machos), que apresentou 1.5 machos para cada femea ( Ô2: 20.3; p<0.05). A assincronia entre os sexos, ausencia de picos reprodutivos e falta de correlacao entre IGS e caracteristicas ambientais observada para S. brandtii, indicam prejuizos procedentes da modificacao hidrologica. O novo ambiente parece nao ter sido uma barreira na sincronia (Spearman: 0.72; p<0.05) e no processo reprodutivo de M. maculatus. As pressoes ambientais e a competicao com especies introduzidas podem ter resultado na maturacao precoce de S. brandtii (femea: 105mm; macho: 92mm), devido aos prejuizos a sua populacao. Apesar da semelhanca no tamanho do ovocito entre as especies, a correlacao positiva entre tamanho corporal e fecundidade absoluta (Pearson: 0.608; p<0.05) possibilitou um maior numero de ovocitos para S. brandtii (U: 398; p<0.05), em virtude do seu maior porte. Ambas as especies apresentaram estrategia oportunistica, caracterizada pelo medio porte corporal e alto investimento reprodutivo, com desova parcelada, ovocitos pequenos e fecundidade relativa alta. A alta plasticidade de M. maculatus aliada a modificacao fluvial facilitou seu estabelecimento. Medidas preventivas devem ser adotadas para minimizar seus impactos causados a fauna nativa.
