Introduction: Rabies, also known as hydrophobia, is an acute viral disease that affects central nervous system, causing acute encephalitis in warm blooded animals including mammals. The virus responsible for rabies is Lyssavirus type I (which is derived from the Greek word lyssa meaning “madness”). In 2015 Haryana government has launched a programme to become the first State in the country to be rabies free under the National Rabies Control Programme. Method: The research approach used for this study was quantitative research approach and pre experimental (one group pre and post-test) design.

These two diseases threaten food security for more than 800 million people in Sub-Saharan Africa. Efforts are ongoing to identify target genes for the development of novel management options against the whitefly populations that vector these devastating viral diseases affecting cassava production in Sub-Saharan Africa. Introduction: Plasmablastic lymphoma (PBL) is a rare and aggressive B-cell lymphoma that predominantly affects individuals with HIV/AIDS or those in immunosuppressed states. Characterized by plasma cell-like features, loss of mature B-cell markers, and often associated with Epstein-Barr Virus [1]. PBL exhibits poor outcomes, even in the era of antiretroviral therapy (ART). Notably, limited access to first-line therapy is a significant concern, with reports indicating that between 14% and 28% of patients with newly diagnosed PBL receive no treatment [2,3]. Abstract Background Rabies, a lethal viral zoonotic disease, remains a significant global public health concern. In northeastern Brazil, in particular, its epidemiology is complex and dynamic, characterized by the presence of several reservoirs associated with human rabies infection. Methods This study, conducted from June 2022 to July 2023, was part of a passive epidemiological surveillance initiative under Brazil’s National Rabies Surveillance Program. It investigated the presence of Rhabdovirus (RhabV) in 356 postmortem chiropteran brain samples using three diagnostic techniques for rabies
