Abstract:
Abstract Banach-Caccioppoli Fixed Point Theorem is an interesting theorem in metric space theory. This theorem states that if T : X → X is a contractive mapping on complete metric space, then T has a unique fixed point. In 2018, the notion of C *-algebra valued G-metric space was introduced by Congcong Shen, Lining Jiang, and Zhenhua Ma. The C *-algebra valued G-metric space is a generalization of the G-metric space and the C*-algebra valued metric space, meanwhile the G-metric space and the C *-algebra valued metric space itself is a generalization of known metric space. The G-metric generalized the domain of metric from X × X into X × X × X, the C *-algebra valued metric generalized the codomain from real number into C *-algebra, and the C *-algebra valued G-metric space generalized both the domain and the codomain. In C *-algebra valued G-metric space, there is one theorem that is similar to the Banach-Caccioppoli Fixed Point Theorem, called by fixed point theorem with contractive mapping on C *-algebra valued G-metric space. This theorem is already proven by Congcong Shen, Lining Jiang, Zhenhua Ma (2018). In this paper, we discuss another new proof of this theorem by using the metric function d(x, y) = max{G(x, x, y),G(y, x, x)}.

Abstract:
AbstractThe Middle and early Late Triassic of southern China is well known for a remarkable diversity of marine vertebrates, particularly reptiles, including an abundance of intriguing new forms (e.g., Jiang et al., 2005; Hu et al., 2011; Li et al., 2016). Here we describe a new diapsid from Yunnan Province. It possesses an elongate neck that exhibits a remarkable similarity to that of many Protorosauria, yet in other respects the skull and postcranium are much less derived. The new taxon is part of the so-called Panxian-Luoping Fauna and the deposits correspond to the Upper Member of the Guanling Formation, comprising thin to medium bedded, gray to dark-gray laminated marly limestone and limestone, with several layers of bentonite intercalated in the fossil level at Panxian (Wan, 2002; Motani et al., 2008; Jiang et al., 2009). Their age is Pelsonian (middle Anisian, Middle Triassic) as is indicated by the conodont Nicoraella kockeli Zone (Sun et al., 2006; Zhang et al., 2009). A recent U-Pb study indicates the absolute age of these middle Anisian beds to be close to 244 Ma (Wang et al., 2014).

Abstract:
ABSTRACT Leptospira interrogans causes a variety of clinical syndromes in animals and humans. Although much information has accumulated on the importance of leptospiral lipopolysaccharide in protective antibody responses, relatively little is known about proteins that participate in immune responses. Identification of those proteins induced only in the host is particularly difficult. Using a novel double-antibody screen designed to identify clones in a gene library of L. interrogans serovar Pomona expressing host-inducible proteins, we have characterized a gene (lk75.3) encoding a sphingomyelinase-like preprotein of 648 amino acids with cytotoxic activity for equine pulmonary endothelial cells and weak hemolytic activity for equine and rabbit erythrocytes. lk73.5 was found as a single gene copy in all serovars of L. interrogans but not in other Leptospira spp. except L. inadai. The open reading frame (ORF) for Lk73.5 is followed by another partially homologous sequence containing an ORF (sph-like 2) for a 28.7-kDa peptide. Lk73.5 and Sph-like 2 share 95.1 and 97.7% amino acid identity with putative sphingomyelinases Sph2 and Sph1 (N terminus) from L. interrogans serovar Lai (S.-X. Ren, G. Fu, X.-G. Jiangk, R. Zeng, Y.-G. Miao, H. Xu, Y.-X. Zhang, H. Xiong, G. Lu, L.-F. Lu, H.-Q. Jiang, J. Jia, Y.-F. Tu, J.-X. Jiang, W.-Y. Gu, Y.-Q. Zhang, Z. Cai, H.-H. Sheng, H.-F. Yin, Y. Zhang, G.-F. Zhu, M. Wank, H.-L. Zhao, Nature 422:88-893, 2003). Substantial homologies to sphingomyelinases from other leptospiras and other bacteria are also present. Lk73.5 was not detected in leptospiras cultured at 30 or 37°C. The recombinant protein reacted strongly with sera from recently infected mares but not with sera from horses vaccinated with commercial pentavalent bacterin. The host-inducible immunogenic Lk73.5 should have value in distinguishing vaccine from infection immune response.

Abstract:
Tianjin Mandarin is a member of the northern Mandarin Chinese family (ISO 693-3: [cmn]). It is spoken in the urban areas of the Tianjin Municipality (CN-12) in the People's Republic of China, which is about 120 kilometers to the southeast of Beijing. Existing studies on Tianjin Mandarin have focused mainly on its tonal aspects, especially its intriguing tone sandhi system, with few studies examining the segmental aspects (on tone, see e.g. Li & Liu 1985, Shi 1986, Liu 1993, Lu 1997, Wang & Jiang 1997, Chen 2000, Liu & Gao 2003, Ma 2005, Ma & Jia 2006, Zhang & Liu 2011, Li & Chen 2016; on segmental aspects, see e.g. Han 1993a, b; Wee, Yan & Chen 2005). As also noted in Wee et al. (2005), this is probably due to the similarity in segmental structures between Tianjin Mandarin and Standard Chinese, especially among speakers of the younger generation, and what differentiates the two Mandarin varieties is most notably their tonal systems. The aim of the present description is therefore to provide a systematic phonetic description of both segmental and tonal aspects of Tianjin Mandarin, with main focus on the tonal aspects.

Abstract:
Utilizing solar energy to fix CO2 with water into chemical fuels and oxygen, a mimic process of photosynthesis in nature, is becoming increasingly important but still challenged by low selectivity and activity, especially in CO2 electrocatalytic reduction. Here, we report transition-metal atoms coordinated in a graphene shell as active centers for aqueous CO2 reduction to CO with high Faradaic efficiencies over 90% under significant currents up to ∼60 mA/mg 1 or a CO evolution rate of 3.81 mmol/h.2 We employed three-dimensional atom probe tomography to directly identify the single Ni atomic sites in graphene vacancies. Theoretical simulations suggest that compared with metallic Ni, the Ni atomic sites present different electronic structures that facilitate CO2-to-CO conversion and suppress the competing hydrogen evolution reaction dramatically. Coupled with Li+-tuned Co3O4 oxygen evolution catalyst and powered by a triple-junction solar cell, our artificial photosynthesis system achieves a peak solar-to-CO efficiency of 12.7% by using earth-abundant transition-metal electrocatalysts in a pH-equal system. Abstract:
Objectives X-linked hypophosphataemic rickets (XLHR) is a disease of impaired bone mineralization characterized by hypophosphataemia caused by renal phosphate wasting. The main clinical manifestations of the disorder are O-shaped legs, X-shaped legs, delayed growth, and bone pain. XLHR is the most common inheritable form of rickets, with an incidence of 1/20 000 in humans. It accounts for approximately 80% of familial cases of hypophosphataemia and serves as the prototype of defective tubular phosphate (PO43+) transport, due to extra renal defects resulting in unregulated FGF23 activity. XLHR is caused by loss-of-function mutations in the PHEX gene. The aim of this research was to identify the genetic defect responsible for familial hypophosphataemic rickets in a four-generation Chinese Han pedigree and to analyze the function of this mutation. Methods The genome DNA samples of all members in the pedigree were extracted from whole blood. We sequenced all exons of the PHEX and FGF23 genes, as well as the adjacent splice site sequence with Sanger sequencing. Next, we analyzed the de novo mutation c.1692 del A of the PHEX gene with an online digital service and investigated the mutant PHEX with SWISS-MODEL, immunofluorescence, and protein stability detection. Results Through Sanger sequencing, we found a de novo mutation, c.1692 del A, in exon 16 of the PHEX gene in this pedigree. This mutation can make the PHEX protein become unstable and decay rapidly, which results in familial XLHR. Conclusion We have found a de novo loss-of-function mutation, c.1692 del A, in exon 16 of the PHEX gene that can cause XLHR. Cite this article: J. Huang, X. Bao, W. Xia, L. Zhu, J. Zhang, J. Ma, N. Abstract:
We recorded apical membrane potentials ( Va) of H441 cells [a human lung cell line exhibiting both epithelial Na+ (ENaC) and CFTR-type channels] grown as confluent monolayers, using the microelectrode technique in current-clamp mode before, during, and after perfusion of the apical membranes with 10 μM forskolin. When perfused with normal Ringer solution, the cells had a Va of -43 ± 10 mV (means ± SD; n = 31). Perfusion with forskolin resulted in sustained depolarization by 25.0 ± 3.5 mV (means ± SD; n = 23) and increased the number, open time, and the open probability of a 4.2-pS ENaC. In contrast to a previous report (Jiang J, Song C, Koller BH, Matthay MA, and Verkman AS. Am J Physiol Cell Physiol 275: C1610–C1620, 1998), no transient hyperpolarization was observed. The forskolin-induced depolarization of Va was almost totally prevented by pretreatment of monolayers with 10 μM amiloride or by substitution of Na+ ions in the bath solution with N-methyl-d-glucamine. These findings indicate that cAMP stimulation of Na+ influx across H441 confluent monolayers results from activation of an amiloride-sensitive apical Na+ conductance and not from Va hyperpolarization due to Cl- influx through CFTR-type channels.

Abstract:
This thesis aims to investigate the representation of fictional memories in the context of global Chinese literature, showing how displacement and translingualism affect the works by authors from the Mainland and from overseas, who express their creativity in different languages. The four novels Zha gen (Striking Root) by Han Dong, Balzac et la petite tailleuse chinoise (Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress) by Dai Sijie, The Crazed by Ha Jin, and Rou zhi tu (Beijing Coma) by Ma Jian are compared as reflections of individual memories of the Cultural Revolution and of the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests. The first part of the thesis addresses the new theoretical approaches configuring contemporary Chinese literature as a polyglossic and deterritorialised entity. The second part focuses on the analysis of two examples of autofictions, Zha gen and Balzac et la Petite Tailleuse chinoise, comparing their representation of time as reflected in the evolution of the individual. The third part explores the two novels The Crazed and Rou zhi tu, focusing on the spatial character of memory transposed in the form of a fictional témoignage. Finally, the fourth part investigates the interactions between Chinese literature and world literature, placing the cases analysed in a translingual perspective. The comparison between the Chinese, the English and the French versions of the novels shows how deterritorialised memories are modulated through translation and self-translation

Agriculture, the basic industry in Taiwan due to the impacts of industrialization, technologilization and free marketing, make it must be changed. Jiang Ma Yuan is a rural community, where is seated on 500-800 meters of the mountain in the Lee-Lin village of Tahu township. In early days their main income is from selling ginger. But right now there has become recreational agriculture area and has rich agricultural culture. Their experiences are worthy to be inquired. Therefore this research aims to the agricultural culture development of Jiang Ma Yuan. Select five local key persons as sample through purposed sampling. Combined with depth interview, observation and the related data collection. The findings are acquired: 1.The productive culture development:Since producing ginger to the recreational agriculture area. Along with the development of cultivating tools, agrochemical fertilizer and the ways of administration. In addition the knowledge and agricultural technique are improved though some cooperation and conventions. The inhabitants also have begun to pay attention to the environmental conservation and sustainable development. 2.The rural life culture development:Beginning from building up the road. Along with the development of the inhabitants’ life, which include daily schedule, eating, living and leisure activities. They have re-found and taught their visitor about Hakka adages, traditional performs and bamboo skills. In the meanwhile, the local temple culture also can''t be neglected. 3.The culture development of the ecosystem:There are a lot of beautiful views include of natural views, industrial view and humanities view. On the other hand the resources from their temple and the government are used to building up forest park and fruit hallway. 4.The promotion of agricultual culture:It is promoted by communities visiting, seminar, temple activities and two festivals which are Jiang Ma Festival and Peach Lee Festival. In addition they also thought mass media, Internet, suit route of travel and other marketing skills to introduce their community. We get a good understanding about the key factors of Jiang Ma Yuan’s agricultural culture development by findings. Their experience can be the model for other rural communities who want to develop their agricultural culture. It is also can be the reference for government to guide the development of another recreational agriculture area.

Under the great pressure of the agricultural transformation and with the growing need of leisure market, the recreational agriculture in Taiwan has newly stood out. This development is due to the support of agricultural administration departments and the encourage of scholars. Although managing recreational farms does not interfere with the production of traditional agriculture, there is a great difference in the manager’s abilities. In other words, after adopting the basic concepts of managing leisure farms, traditional farmers need to consider how to keep a balance between agricultural production and recreational business. As a result, the overall development of recreational agriculture still needs to be surveyed thoroughly. This research aims to study how the farmers enhance the economic values of their agricultural products from the primary industry, secondary industry, to tertiary industry. Furthermore, the research discusses whether it is possible for the farmers to promote their products to quaternary industry to satisfy the tourists’ diverse needs. The study focuses on investigating how the farmers at Jiang Ma Yuan develop their management of recreational agriculture. The research is conducted through empirical methods: questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews. The results, analyzed by SWOT, can be used as a reference to advance the future development of the recreational agriculture. The results indicate that the development formats and the resources use of the leisure farms are generally similar. However, the farmers need to think the following points collectively and deeply: (1) how to emphasize the uniqueness of the local resources, (2) how to integrate and enhance the utilization of human resources, (3) how to establish good cooperative and competitive relationship with the surrounding areas, and (4) how to make good use of the Internet to increase benefits. Finally, the study discusses the management problems that the farmers encountered from the following three aspects—the policy, the management, and the execution. The research suggests some improvement strategies to implement the economic functions of recreational agriculture. From the case study to learn the common drawbacks of recreational agriculture in Taiwan, it is sincerely hoped that the importance of “tourism” should not be overemphasized and the essence of “agriculture” should not be undervalued. Most important of all, the overall environment of the villages should not be destroyed. The research give the following suggestions to the future study: (1) to compare the management of different rural villages and (2) to investigate the involvement of different participation levels.

The economic development in rural areas is always closely related with the organization network in local society. Strawberry Garden and Jiang Ma Yuan in Dahu Township, Miaoli County, are two of the important models for Taiwan’s rural development in recent years. However, the patterns of development are quite different between these two villages. This study attempts to apply the network and social capital theories to analyze and compare the patterns of local development between Dahu`s Strawberry Garden and Jiang Ma Yuan. In view of research results, this thesis finds that the farmers’ association is the core of organization network in Strawberry Gardrn, from the top down. It interacts with each operator by using the stratified style, the superiors passing their orders to their subordinates. Although, the farmers’ association is an NGO, it possesses great politicity, which has influenced the stability of organization network and development in Strawberry Garden. On the contrary, in Jiang Ma Yuan, under the integration conducted by “Jiang Ma Yuan Homeland Empowerment and Industrial Tourism Association of Miaoli County”, the close and traditional blood ties have been transformed into the network relation of community development. In addition, this association has mobilized the residents to participate in various cultural festivals of Jiang Ma Yuan. Examining the difference between the developments in these two areas, this thesis finds that the successful pattern of Jiang Ma Yuan to utilize the association as the core to conduct all-out mobilization joint participation for all communities establish the stability of community. Once such endogenous basis is established, the local economy can move toward the sustainable operation then.

The results showed that those who play such games with 30 to 40-year-old males, one to two days it will take 1 to 2 hours for the game, most of the consumer are less than 1,000 dollars, the most common stored-value reasons, gambled away all of the virtual currency at the right time to pass the time and entertainment as the main motivation for playing such games, does not think that can be used as a way to make money, zero whenever the virtual currency, to go to bed, or play games to the boring of the time will to stop the second game, players are most concerned about is the quality of service game makers, especially the stability of server manufacturers, and game design fair, the main screen is good, and no monthly fee for the game's biggest incentive, as virtual special title, non-players to pursue. Although the game is to pleasure-based, but in the game before, during and after different stages of the individual positive and negative emotional impact, there are differences, especially after the game tends to feel the most negative emotions. As for the mahjong online game for gamers to learn whether the positive effects of migration, the reservations view. Therefore, the results from this study hopes to provide computer software classification, more information to protect the impact on young persons, and related industry for this type of software design information.

Nowadays, Taipei City sustains the pressure of promoting competition after internationalizing, faces the depression of fixed property and local industry culture as well. The primal problem is the transaction of old town. Besides, Taipei city government invested fund, manpower and enthusiasm to actualize the cases to reuse of Xi-men market and regeneration of Jian-Chen Circle, but got animadversion from mistake of location and misdirect of space design. What’s wrong with links of process? The case study begins by researching the growing process of Jian-Chen Circle, and then compares foreign renewal experience with local renewal purview. Renewal methods in Taiwan are limited by related systems so can not get rid of analytic layer with essential space. The most important point of this research is analyzing the interaction and decision process with case study to regeneration of Jian-Chen Circle. Designers do not revival Jian-Chen Circle by using local characters but ruin the original social relationships and constitutions of Jian-Chen Circle. The research finds the main reason of abortion to regeneration of Jian-Chen Circle is not only decision group but process of decision, and Ma-Zi phenomenon is the key point of the abortion. Ma-zai phenomenon, means people know it is wrong but still do it, has those characters: 1. Decision group ignore the mistake of location but still do it in wrong way, 2. Decision group are not willing to adjust land problem with elasticity, so civic space out of single unit can not cooperate, 3. Planners transfer overcharge foreign buildings but neglect local environment, habit and streak. The conclusion of this study imitates resource of Ma-Zi phenomenon. There are several ways to avoid this situation: 1.Use case study, 2.Comprise conversation, 3.Break maze of property, 4.Return to constitution of urban renewal.

The intention that Guang Si-Ma wrote “Tzu-chih tong-jian” was rather take “Zuo-Zhuan” as a model than follow the example of “Chun-Chiu.” “Zuo-Zhuan” originated from explaining the meaning of “Chun-Chiu,” and “Tzu-chih tong-jian” inherited “Zuo-Zhuan.” There are some similarities between them because both of them are influenced by “Chun-Chiu.” This essay aims to discuss the Penmanship of “Chun-chiu” of “Tzu-chih tong-jian,” and then to investigate the succession and the change that “Tzu-chih tong-jian” comes from “Chun-Chiu.” The Penmanship of “Chun-chiu” of “Tzu-chih tong-jian” can be discussed in two aspects: cerebration content and skill formality. In cerebration content, “ingenuously speaking according to the facts” is the main feature of “Tzu-chih tong-jian.” Guang Si-Ma used many methods such as “zhu-ci-bi-shi,” “shu-er-bu-zuo,” “zhu-chu-jian-yi,” “yi-xu-wei-yi,” “jie-oen-chi-shi,” ect to describe history events, which made readers find advantages and disadvantages from detailed and omitted, light and stress and different and similar. That is the key point of the Penmanship of “Chun-chiu.” Although the criticism of “Tzu-chih tong-jian” does not focus on every single word, there are “shu-zhi method,” “xu-zhi,” “zhong-chi-zhu-shu,” “cheng-wei-shio-zhi,” etc. Sometimes the author would also took circumlocutory way such as “yun-ce-bi-hong-tuo” and “qu-bi-hue-shi.” Others like “shen-zhan-shan-mo-chi-shi-guan,” “li-shi-lun-zan” and “chen-guang-yue” are the characters that “Tzu-chih tong-jian” not only followed but deepen the tradition. The follow and change of “Tzu-chih tong-jian” from the penmanship of “Chun-chiu” mainly presented in “zun-wang and ta-yi-tong,” “zheng-ming and li-zhi-si-xiang,” “yi-sia-guang,” “shi-wei-shen-shi,” etc. Some might be affected by “gong-yang theory.” However, the focus is always on how to manage and govern the society. According to the two aspects, we can find that “Tzu-chih tong-jian” did not only follow the penmanship of “Chun-chiu” but also came up with new insights. Therefore, it can also be a master of great leaning and integrity.

Abstract:
Abstract This chapter cites the novel China Dream by exiled storyteller Ma Jian and Liu Cixin’s science fiction fantasy The Dark Forest, which are used to describe China’s future. It explains that Ma Jian’s dystopian rhapsody tells of a society trapped by its failure to come to terms with its past. It also analyzes Liu Cixin’s vision of a China that is effortlessly part of global political, economic, and technological leadership. The chapter refers to calculations of China’s debt that focus on the borrower side, wherein loans to business, households, and government are added up. It clarifies how China’s combination of advanced economy debt levels and emerging market income levels is a unique disadvantage, emphasizing that maxing out on debt at a middling level of development made it more difficult for China to close the gap with high income countries.

Abstract:
Abstract Injection of foams can be used to optimize different gas injection processes such as CCUS (Carbon Capture Use & Storage) and possibly to boost oil recovery kinetics in heterogenous or naturally fractured reservoirs (Enick R.M. 2012). In this case, foams, which are more viscous and dense than gases, aim at limiting early gas breakthrough during field operation by improving the sweeping efficiency of reservoirs and by blocking the most permeable areas of the latters (A. Al Sumaiti 2017, Chabert M. and D'Souza D. 2016). A large part of the world oil reservoirs that have already been operated by primary and secondary recovery methods are carbonate reservoirs and are mostly located in the Middle East (Talebian S.H. 2014). In these reservoirs, which are often operated by CO2 injection, the adsorption of surfactants on positively charged carbonates may be a major hindrance to foam injection (Pownall 1989, Cui L. and Ma K. 2014). That is why, cationic surfactants have been developed for these CO2 foam applications (Chen Y. 2016). However, these cationics are often hardly soluble at pH>6 (Jian G. 2019) and/or not industrially avalaible (Cui et Dubos 2018). For this study, we selected three different cationic surfactants. Using automated robotic platforms, we explored a large range of surfactant combination (combining each cationic surfactant with a whole co-surfactant portfolio) at high temperature and in a hard concentrated brine (120g/LTDS, [Ca2+]= 8100ppm). We show that adding co-surfactants to each of these cationics boosts their foaming properties in porous media as well as their solubility at high pH (pH=8) while maintaining low levels of adsorption on carbonates. While a high shear rate is required for cationic surfactants to generate foam in sandpacks, formulations combining cationics and co-surfactants form foams at much lower shear rates. Moreover, the fact that these formulations are soluble at pH=8 means that, on field, the water would no longer need to be acidified at the wellhead to solubilize the surfactant blend. Thus, pipe corrosion induced by the flow of acidified solutions in the surface facilities is prevented. Lastly, all the molecules that are tested in this study are industrially available.
