Abstract:

Como respuesta a la ausencia de conocimiento técnico e investigativo en materia comercial y artesanal para las artesanías ecuatorianas, se busca desarrollar un modelo de competitividad, gestión y comercialización de la macana Ikat de Gualaceo, capaz de adaptarse a cualquier otra artesanía ecuatoriana que garantice mejoras en el modelo económico actual del país. A través de los principios de mejora continua, planeación estratégica y propuesta de valor se diseñan los procesos de: gestión, producción, financiación, comercialización y talento humano, a base de teorías científicas desarrolladas para las Pequeñas y Medianas Empresas (PYMES), aplicadas a las artesanías. Además, se describen, esencialmente, contribuciones y postulados de investigación, que argumentan la rentabilidad de este modelo en el mercado internacional. Esta investigación obtuvo eficientes resultados en todos los campos de estudio, evidenciados en proyecciones estadísticas sobre la comercialización de las macanas Ikat como bien de gama alta, la maximización de las ganancias con altos niveles de rentabilidad, el reconocimiento del talento artesanal como generador de apropiación cultural; y, como eslabón prioritario dentro de la cadena de valor y producción de la industria nacional. Palabras clave: artesanía, Ikat, internacionalización, macana, modelo de gestión. Abstract:In response to the absence of technical and research knowledge in commercial and artisanal matters for Ecuadorian handicrafts, it seeks to develop a model of competitiveness, management and commercialization of the macana Ikat of Gualaceo, capable of adapting to any other Ecuadorian handicraft that guarantees improvements in the current economic model of the country. Through the principles of continuous mprovement, strategic planning and value proposition, the processes of management, production, financing, commercialization and human talent are designed, based on scientific theories developed for SMEs, applied to handicrafts. In addition, contributions and research postulates are essentially described, which argue the profitability of this model in the international market. This research obtained efficient results in all the fields of study evidenced in statistical projections on the commercialization of the macanas Ikat as a luxury good, the maximization of profits, with high levels of profitability; the recognition of artisanal talent as a generator of cultural appropriation and priority link within the value and production chain of the national industry. AbstractNymphs of lotic mayflies live in environments that are expected to give rise to different degrees of population structuring. Here we investigate two taxa adapted to different lifestyles.Baetis macaniKimmins (Ephemeroptera: Baetidae) lives in flowing water; brooks that may periodically dry out in the summer or freeze to the bottom in winter.Baetis jaerviiSavolainen is mostly found in sedge belts along the shores of lakes. Most insects living in flowing water show low levels of among-population genetic differentiation within and among catchments. Levels of differentiation in the lotic species are therefore assumed to be lower than in lenticB. jaervii. Here we test this hypothesis. Mitochondrial DNA and allele frequencies of nuclear genes were used to detect population structure in specimens originating from an extensive area from northern Finland. The genetic differentiation among populations of the loticB. macaniis more than twice the corresponding value for the lenticB. jaervii(FST0.33 versus 0.15, while the meanFSTbetween species was 0.33 and significant). The result is congruent within the cytochrome c oxidase subunit I gene (COI) partial gene frequencies. We argue that the significant genetic population structure, which only was found in the loticB. macani, is differentiated as a consequence to the unpredictable environment as contrasted to the stable environment in standing bodies of water.

AbstrakPermainan Macanan merupakan permainan papan tradisional yang diteliti penulis setelah Bas-basan Sepur (2013). Permainan Macanan memiliki nilai keunikan tersendiri baik di sisi budaya maupun nilai edukasinya. Salah satu yang menonjol selain bentuk permainannya adalah adanya pion Macan yang tidak dimiliki oleh permainan tradisional lain sejenis. Aturan permainan Macanan dirasa memiliki kedekatan dengan budaya gropyokan Macan yang pernah menjadi budaya di kerajaan Jawa. Begitu tingginya nilai budaya yang dimiliki tidak membuat permainan Macanan ini digemari oleh masyarakat khususnya anak-anak. Permainan Macanan telah tergeser oleh budaya lainnya, baik budaya modern maupun budaya tradisi lainnya. Penelitian ini kembali mengusulkan suatu rancangan model adaptasi permainan Macanan ke dalam permainan digital sebagai upaya pelestarian budaya permainan tradisional yang lebih dinamis. Model adaptasi ini menggunakan metode transformasi budaya tradisi ATUMICS untuk menganalisis elemen budaya permainan Macanan menurut teknik (technique), kegunaan (utility), materi (material), ikon (icon), konsep (concept), dan bentuknya (shape). Sesuai prinsip seleksi dalam proses adaptasi, selanjutnya elemen yang dapat dipertahankan akan dipadukan dalam sebuah struktur permainan digital yang menarik. Sebagai hasilnya adalah sebuah rancangan model permainan digital baru yang menarik dan tetap mempertahankan nilai budaya permainan Macanan di dalamnya. Kata kunci: adaptasi, Macanan, permainan papan tradisional Abstract Macanan is a traditional board game which examined by the author after Bas-basan Sepur in 2013. Macanan game has an unique value both in the culture and education values. One thing that stands out besides the arena game shape is their pawn tiger (Macan) that does not exist in the other. The game rules of Macanan perceived closeness to the Gropyokan Macan tradition that had been in Royal Javanese culture. However, it’s high culture values did not make Macanan is loved by the people, especially the children. Macanan game now displaced by other cultures, both modern culture and other cultural traditions. This study re-propose a draft model of adaptation Macanan game into the digital game as an effort to preserve traditional culture. This adaptation model using traditional cultural transformation ATUMICS to analyze the cultural elements Macanan game according to the technique (technique), utility (utility), material (material), icons (icon), concept (concept), and form (shape). Furthermore, the elements that can be maintained will be combined in a digital game structure.The result is a new model of ditigal games that attract and still maintain the culture value of Macanan game. Abstract:

La estrategia social media también denominada plataforma de comunicación e interacción en línea entre el consumidor y el vendedor, es utilizada por los usuarios constantemente porque permite el posteo y comercialización de productos de toda índole incluso los artesanales a través de las redes sociales. El objetivo es diseñar un modelo de estrategia social media para la promoción comercial de macanas artesanales que potencie el posicionamiento e imagen del cantón Gualaceo, provincia del Azuay. Metodológicamente, la investigación es de tipo mixta con enfoque cualitativo transversal. De los resultados obtenidos, se enfatiza que existe una débil comercialización de macanas debido al desconocimiento comercial y representatividad cultural que tienen estas prendas de vestir artesanal, siendo imprescindible realizar la aplicación del modelo de estrategia social media como estrategia de marketing, la posición y mejoramiento de imagen del producto ofertado.

Abstract:

This study is aiming at finding out the symbolical meaning of Macanan dance in Barongan Blora. The method implied in the study was qualitative with ethnochoreology approach. Results indicated that Macanan dance is a typical dance immitating the movement of an animal which is a tiger, which is known also in Indonesia as ‘macan’. It also illustrates some movements which resemble the activity of a group of farmers. This study concluded that the movement of Macanan dance contained specific meanings; specifically representing and illustrating the life of Blora Regency’s agricultural community in Indonesia.

Abstract:

The Baetis vernus group is known to be a taxonomically difficult group of mayflies. Morphological characters such as themandibles or gills of nymphs overlap widely. We report here that enzyme electromorph frequencies also fail to show reproductive isolation in many cases. Baetis macani has been divided in the literature into two forms, a lentic one with broader gills living in stagnant waters, while the lotic one with narrower gills lives in flowing water. We show that the two evidently represent reproductively isolated taxa, B. macani Kimmins = B. bundyae auct. nec, while the one with broader gills appears to be a new species. Baetis macani, B. subalpinus, B. liebenauae and B. vernus form a cluster that is genetically not divisible according to the recognized species boundaries.Nymph gill length differentiates, however, B. macani from B. subalpinus and B. vernus. We call for studies on population structuring andmolecular taxonomy to resolve the taxonomy and ecology of this important group of mayflies.

Lots of traditional games, but now the game is becoming obsolete. Many games were replaced with the modern game technology products. Modern games are becoming more practical because it did not require the terrain and many friends. Quite alone in front of the screen was a person may engage in an exciting game. One of the efforts to preserve and disseminate traditional games one of which is macan-macanan is to adapt the game into a computer game. This study aims to apply artificial intelligence using minimax algorithms and programming language ActionScript 3 in the game with a macan-macanan research methods are prototyping. The design used in this study is an artificial intelligence approach for representing the state, science, human computer interaction for designing the user experience, as well as the UML for object-based design. Results from this study is that in order to determine the value of the evaluation algorithm minimax for the end node / terminal state in the game macan-macanan, required the calculation of the total step is valid for each piece, as well as to pawn macan, necessary calculations springboard to a higher value and the weight difference the appropriate type of pawns.

Abstract:

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan SDM orangtua terhadap tingkat pola asuh yang diberikan orangtua di TK Darmawanita Macanan 2, Kabupaten Ngawi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah walimurid TK Darmawanita Macanan 2. Sampel atau sensus dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 30 walimurid. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk mengukur SDM orangtua dan tingkat pola asuh. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi person. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan SDM orangtua terhadap tingkat pola asuh yang diberikan, dengan kontribusi sebesar 0,448 dengan kategori cukup kuat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa hubungan SDM orangtua terhadap kualitas pola asuh yang diberikan adalah cukup kuat.

A mediados de 1744 la Inquisición estrechaba el cerco sobre la Historia Civil de España, obra de fray Nicolás de Jesús Belando. La identificación del autor con las posiciones más regalistas encarnadas por el polémico ex fiscal general del Consejo de Castilla, Melchor Macanaz, y las críticas al tribunal por su proceder durante el bienio reformista de 1713-1715, rebasaba con creces lo tolerado por las autoridades del Santo Oficio. En este artículo profundizamos en la interpretación que mereció para Macanaz el proceso inquisitorial de Belando, una oportunidad que le permitió insistir en la idea de una Inquisición subordinada al rey y dependiente de su jurisdicción como medio único de adecuación de la institución al Estado real absoluto.

Abstract:

Museum MACAN is the first museum that exhibit modern art. Museum MACAN has Indonesia-English caption in their Instagram account in order to promote their collection. This study investigates translation shift occurs in Museum MACAN’s Instagram caption and the accuracy of their translation. The translation shift is used to produces accurate translation. This study uses Catford’s theory about translation shift (1964) and the accuracy based on ATA Rubric Assessment. The data were twenty five Museum MACAN’s Instagram captions. The collected data were analysed, in order to fine the translation shift and accuracy of their caption. There are three evaluators to rate the accuracy of the captions. The first evaluator is the writer of this study; the second evaluator is a student of management from Universitas Negeri Jakarta who works as freelance translator more than two years, the third evaluator is a professional translator who has been in translation field for twenty five years. The result of the translation shift analysis is there are five shifts occur in Museum MACAN’s Instagram captions. The most used shift is structure shift. It shows that the use of shift helps writer or translator adjusts word into appropriate sentence from source text to target text.

Abstract:

Esta investigación se realizó dando continuidad a un análisis, en el que se relacionaron las variables de ingresos y canales de comercialización de los artesanos macaneros; al considerar que los ingresos que perciben, no corresponden al esfuerzo, tiempos de dedicación, valor agregado, transferencia del conocimiento ancestral intergeneracional, entre otros; se abordó la temática con el objetivo, de analizar la relación entre la productividad y los ingresos que genera la actividad artesanal del tejido de macanas de las parroquias de Bullcay y Bullzhún del cantón Gualaceo; ubicado en la provincia del Azuay – Ecuador. Se enmarca dentro de la línea de investigación de la economía social y solidaria, con enfoque cuantitativo de tipo no experimental – transversal y descriptivo, porque analiza la relación entre las variables de productividad e ingresos asociados a la edad de los 36 artesanos macaneros considerados como universo de estudio y el tiempo de dedicación a la actividad. Entre los principales resultados se pudo apreciar que el índice de correlación de Pearson entre la edad de los artesanos y la cantidad de unidades producidas es muy débil al ser ρ = -0,182. El índice de productividad es de 0,043 ud./h, lo que equivale a la producción de 7 macanas por mes que genera un ingreso mensual de 238 USD, valor inferior al de un salario básico unificado. El índice de productividad obtenido refleja la realidad del sector que desarrolla una actividad artesanal manual que demanda mayor tiempo de dedicación y no existe el reconocimiento al valor intangible como conocimiento y cultura, en términos monetarios en el mercado.

Abstract:

The perceptions and attitudes of local communities help understand the social drivers of unsustainable wildlife use and the social acceptability of conservation programs. We evaluated the social context influencing illegal harvesting of the threatened yellow-shouldered Amazon (Amazona barbadensis) and the effectiveness of a longstanding conservation program in the Macanao Peninsula, Margarita Island, Venezuela. We interviewed 496 people from three communities and documented their perceptions about (1) status and the impact of threats to parrot populations, (2) acceptability of the conservation program, and (3) social processes influencing unsustainable parrot use. Approval of the program was high, but it failed to engage communities despite their high conservation awareness and positive attitudes towards the species. People identified unsustainable use as the main threat to parrots, but negative perceptions were limited to selling, not harvesting or keeping. Harvesters with different motivations (keepers, sellers) may occur in Macanao, and social acceptability of both actors may differ. Future efforts will require a stakeholder engagement strategy to manage conflicts and incentives to participation. A better understanding of different categories of harvesters, as well as their motives and role in the illegal trade network would provide insights to the design of a behavior change campaign.

The cult to the Vírgín of the Macana was not limited to New Mexico. It was consolidated and survived in the center of New Spain because the ímage and the story that explains it became parts of the symbolic and polítical repertory of the Franciscans during their conflict with the secular clergy which dominated the institutional life of the viceregal church during the eighteenth century. The study of the images of the Virgin provide understanding of some of the arguments used by the Franciscans during this struggle.

The Leonian (early Middle Cambrian) regional Stage of Iberia is revised from a lithostratigraphic and biostratigraphic point of view in order to propose it as a chronostratigraphic unit for the Mediterranean subprovince (outcrops in Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Morocco and Turkey). This revision now permits a correlation of the Leonian Stage with the other early Middle Cambrian regional Stages. This paper, entitled “Gendhing Myth in the Bersih Dusun Ceremony in Dalungan, Macanan, Kebakkramat, Karanganyar” started from the writer's interest in seeing the socio-cultural phenomenon that has become an annual tradition for Dalungan Hamlet residents. This study aims to uncover the gendhing posted by the community in the bersih dusun ceremony of the Dalungan hamlet. The myth of Gendhing is inseparable from the factors that influence the existence of sacred values related to the rite. The magical value that exists in the Gendhing is based on the cultural belief system of Javanese actors and other supporting elements of ritual such as folklore and cultural values inherited from the ancestors. The myth of Gendhing must also be supported by the presence of dhanyang and also the pundhèn caretaker, as well as community leaders such as the RW leader, RT leader, Dalungan elders, and the entire Dalungan community. This research uses qualitative research methods, including observation, data collection, data analysis, data presentation, and conclusions. This research uses P.S Hary Susanto's myth theory which explains the myths according to Mercia Eliade's thought, which is to solve problems related to the myths of Javanese cultural society and the myth of Gendhing in the clean ritual of the Dalungan hamlet.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan etnografi yang merupakan sebuah pendekatan teoritis dan empiris untuk mendapatkan deskripsi dan analisis mendalam tentang sebuah budaya berdasarkan catatan lapangan yang telah diperoleh dari hasil pengumpulan data. Fokus dalam penelitian ini yaitu eksplorasi etnomatematika dalam permainan tradisional masyarakat Jawa, seperti permainan tradisional Kubuk, Kubuk Manuk, Dhukter, Macanan, dan Jeg-Jegan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa permainan tradisional dalam kebudayaan masyarakat Jawa memiliki berbagai konsep matematika, seperti operasi bilangan, bangun datar, kesebangunan, kekongruenan, perbandingan bilangan, dan relasi. Selain itu, permainan tradisional tersebut juga mengandung nilai-nilai budaya, yang mulai ditinggalkan oleh sebagian masyarakat. Kata kunci: etnomatematika, permainan tradisional, budaya Jawa, etnografi.  ABSTRACT The study aims to explore the correlation between mathematics and Javanese culture, especially in Yogyakarta. This research uses etnography approach, that is empirical and theoritical approach to get the description and deep analysis about a culture based on the field note which has been obtained from the data collection. The focus of this research is study etnomathematics in Javanese traditional games namely Kubuk, Kubuk Manuk, Dhukter, Macanan, and Jeg-Jegan. The result shows that Javanese traditional games have the concepts of mathematics, such as number operations, plane, congruence, proportion number, and relation. Se inicia con un debate teórico sobre el desarrollo local y el papel del turismo como fuente de generación de ingresos y empleo de algunas economías poco desarrolladas del mundo, haciéndose referencia a los elementos teóricos que abordan la sostenibilidad de la actividad turística. Se realiza un inventario de los atractivos turísticos de la zona de estudio, obteniéndose 39 manifestaciones culturales y sitios naturales que constituyen un importante potencial, al contar con varios lugares patrimonios de la nación y de la humanidad, sitios arqueológicos, gastronomía, fiestas religiosas, artesanía y técnicas milenarias como el IKAT utilizada en la elaboración de las macanas. También se complementa la oferta con varias áreas naturales protegidas y sitios con muy poca intervención humana con mucha potencialidad para el turismo de naturaleza o ecoturismo.Aunque se pudo detectar que el 59\% de los atractivos, que se contabilizan, tienen alteraciones en su conservación se considera que territorio en un potencial para el desarrollo de productos culturales enriquecidos con actividades de turismo de naturaleza o ecoturismo.

Wet chemical analysis was used to determine carbohydrate structural contents, as well as ash and extractive contents on four Guadua Angustifolia Kunth forms (f. Cebolla, f. Macana, f. Rayada Amarilla and f. Castilla) with two different growth ages (young and mature). Soluble and insoluble fiber content was determined by using AOAC 985.29 method. Se realizó en tres municipios del Valle de Tenza en el Departamento de Boyacá (Colombia): Sutatenza, Guateque y Macanal, por medio de la metodología cualitativa con enfoque etnográfico. En consecuencia, se llevó a cabo una observación de aspectos relacionados con la producción de Chicha y entrevistas semiestructuradas con preguntas abiertas a nueve habitantes de la zona, quienes conocían su elaboración. Posteriormente, se seleccionó y analizó la información obtenida para cumplir con el objetivo del proyecto. Este artículo inicia con una aproximación conceptual a los términos principales. Enseguida se realiza una descripción y caracterización metodológica. Luego, se comentan los resultados y por último se presentan las conclusiones del trabajo.

This study aims to determine the difference in the effect of the application of audiovisual media and environmental media on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students to write poetry at SDN No. 24 Macanang, Tanete Riattang Barat District, Bone Regency. This type of research is quasi-experimental, and the research design is Nonequevalent Control Group Design. The research data were collected using tests and documentation and analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that there were differences in the poetry writing skills of students who learned using audiovisual media and environmental media. This is based on the t-test analysis which shows the application of audiovisual media is higher than the application of environmental media. Although environmental media has a greater contribution to students' knowledge of writing poetry, the difference in the contribution is very small. While in the skill aspect, the contribution of audiovisual media is much greater than environmental media in writing poetry

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dalam melakukan komunikasi bentuk pola komunikasi yang diterapkan orang tua adalah terbuka, kompromi dan support positif. Bentuk ini muncul karena adanya proses pola komunikasi seperti mengajak bermain anak, memberikan telling story, dan ice breaking yang menarik kepada anak. Infeksi HPV dan pre kanker serviks (sel-sel abnormal pada leher rahim yang dapat menyebabkan kanker) telah menurun secara signifikan sejak vaksin HPV digunakan.Cakupan vaksinasi HPV masih rendah di Indonesia.Orang tua adalah pemegang tanggung jawab dan kewajiban utama di dalam penjaminan pemenuhan hak dasar anak untuk mendapatkan vaksinasi. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui faktor yang berhubungan (sikap, kepercayaan, dukungan orang tua) dengan kesediaan vaksinasi pada remaja putri. Jenis penelitian adalah survey analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SD Muhammadiyah Macanan, Ngemplak dan SMPN 1 Berbah, Sleman pada Mei-Juli 2019. Jumlah sampel 127 remaja putri beserta orang tuanya dipilih dengan accidental sampling. Instrumen kuesioner dan telah dilakukan uji validitas. Analisis bivariat dengan uji chi square (dukungan instrumen, emosional, kepercayaan orang tua) dan uji fisher exact (dukungan informasi dan sikap). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 92,9% orang tua tidak memberikan dukungan informasi, 85% tidak memberikan dukungan instrumen, 75,6% memberikan dukungan emosional kepada putrinya terkait vaksinasi. Faktor yang berhubungan dengan kesediaan vaksinasi adalah dukungan instrumen (p-value = 0,048). Faktor yang menjadi pertimbangan terbanyak orang tua untuk mengijinkan anaknya di vaksinasi adalah keamanan vaksin (81,1%). Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan dukungan instrumen orang tua dengan kesediaan vaksinasi HPV pada remaja putri. HPV infections and cervical precancers (abnormal cells on the cervix that can lead to cancer) have dropped significantly since HPV vaccine has been in use. HPV vaccination coverage is still low in Indonesia. Parents are the main responsibility and obligation in guaranteeing the fulfillment of the child's basic rights to get a vaccination. The purpose of this study was to determine the related factors (attitudes, beliefs, parental support) with the willingness to participate in HPV vaccination among adolescent girls. This type of the study was analytic survey with cross sectional approach. The study was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Macanan, Ngemplak and SMPN 1 Berbah, Sleman in May-July 2019. The sample was 127 adolescent girl and their parents selected by accidental sampling. The instrument used questionnaire and already undergone validity test. The bivariate analysis used chi square test (instrument and emotional support, parental trust) and fisher exact test (information support and attitude). The results showed 92.9% of parents did not provide information support, 85% did not provide instrument support, 75.6% provided emotional support to their daughters related to vaccination. Factors related to the willingness of vaccinations were instrument support (p-value = 0.048). The factor that was considered by most parents to allow their children to be vaccinated was vaccine safety (81.1%). Conclusion: There was a correlation between parental instrument support and HPV vaccination willingness of adolescent girls.

Latar Belakang: Kanker serviks merupakan penyebab kematian tertinggi kedua pada perempuan di Indonesia, oleh karena itu memerlukan intervensi melalui pencegahan primer (vaksinasi). Pelaksanaan vaksinasi HPV di Kulon Progo dan Gunung Kidul tahun 2017 merupakan tahapan demonstrasi sebagai dasar pengembangan dan introduksi ke dalam program imunisasi nasional. Vaksinasi HPV diperuntukkan pada anak perempuan sejak usia 9 tahun. Vaksinasi HPV pada remaja merupakan suatu intervensi baru. Penelitian sebelumnya menyebutkan kesediaan remaja untuk vaksinasi masih rendah.  Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kesediaan vaksinasi HPV pada remaja dan faktor yang berhubungan dengan kesediaan vaksinasi.  Metode: Jenis penelitian survei analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SD Muhammadiyah Macanan, Ngemplak, Sleman dan SMPN 1 Berbah, Sleman dalam waktu Mei-Juli 2019. Jumlah sampel 127 remaja putri kelas 4, 5, 7 dan 8 dipilih dengan accidental sampling. Jenis data adalah data primer, instrumen kuesioner. Uji validitas kuesioner dengan 2 expert. Analisis bivariat dengan uji Somers’d untuk variabel sikap, fisher exact test untuk variabel pengetahuan. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesediaan vaksinasi HPV masih rendah (42,5%), faktor yang berhubungan dengan kesediaan vaksinasi HPV adalah sikap remaja (p-value = 0,000). Faktor yang menjadi pertimbangan terbanyak remaja dalam pengambilan keputusan vaksinasi adalah keamanan vaksin dengan persentase 89,8%.  Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan antara sikap remaja dengan kesediaan vaksinasi HPV pada remaja putri.

Abstract:

The research was a qualitative study using a case description in the elementary Muhammadiyah Macanan. The informans are head master of elementary Muhammadiyah Mcanan, PAI dan Budi Pekerti’s teacher, coordinator of curriculum, Thafidz’s teacher, teacher’s class, and fifth graders. The technique for collecting datas are used observations, and documentations, and indepth interviews. And the result showed that: 1) manajement of curriculum development program PAI dan Budi Pekerti used four functions management, they are a) Plannings arranged in the vision, missions, and objectives of the program, and the various programs, they are short term, medium-term, and long term programs b) Organizing of human resources involved in the preparation of program and graduation competency standards, c) Implementations of development program are devided to dhuha prayers, dzuhur prayers, jum’at prayers, reading the holly Qur’an, and memorizing the qur’an. And content standards consisting of core competencies and basic competencies d) Evaluations are devided to achievement of planning, organizing, and implementing through graduation competency standards in dimency of attitude and skills. 2) The building of religious characters are devided to a) the teacher’s way how to provide the building religious characters; b) the teacher’s way to do the building religious characters; c) habituation methods in building religious characters.

Abstract:

A principal has an important role in improving teacher’s competence. This qualitative research with a case study approach aimed to reveal school principal’s role in increasing teacher pedagogical and professional competence in Muhammadiyah elementary school of Macanan, Sleman and Muhammadiyah elementary school of Al-Mujahidin, Gunungkidul. The research subject was the school principal and teachers. Data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation, then were analyzed using the stages of data collection, data reduction, data representation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the role of the school principal in increasing teacher pedagogical and professional competence was as a manager, leader, and innovator. As a manager, the school principal planned the program by detailing educators need and education staff, planning curriculum, and planning a policy for ad-ding the subject of guidance and counselling. As a leader, the school principal set the targets regarding class management and arranged a briefing, while as an innovator, the school principal emphasized the importance of innovation of information technology-based learning and class management. The three roles of the school principal impacted on teacher competence in conducting fun and meaningful learning, class management, the use of information technology in learning, the mastery of the material and student development. This research finding recommends Indonesia’s educational stakeholders to formulate the teacher’s competence development program.

Abstract:

The objective of the research is to improve the third grade students’ simple communication ability of SD Muhammadiyah Macanan in the academic year of 2017/2018 with the use of Fun English Pictures media. It was expected that Fun English Pictures could improve the students’ simple communication ability. Based on the observation, there were some problems in the teaching and learning of simple communication. To solve those problems, the researcher implemented Fun English Pictures as a learning media. The research was carried out through action research that consisted of two cycles. The researcher collaborated with the English teacher in implementing the actions and an observer. The data were in the forms of qualitative. The qualitative data were in the forms of field notes, observation sheet, interview transcripts, and photographs. The validity used were democratic validity, outcome validity, process validity, catalytic validity and dialogic validity. The reliability used was time triangulation and investigator triangulation. The steps of the research were reconnaissance, planning, action and observation and reflection. The research found that: (1) Fun English Pictures can improve students’ simple communication ability and can help them to speak confidently, (2) the use of Fun English Pictures can give the students more chances for practicing simple communication, and therefore the students can lose their fears of making mistakes and be more confident, (3) the use of Fun English Pictures can improve the students’ fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary and accuracy.

Abstract:

In the past decade, ecological surveys emphasized rats and dogs as the most significant animal reservoirs for Schistosoma japonicum (S.j) in the Philippines. However, recent studies demonstrated 51–91% prevalence of schistosomiasis among water buffalo using qPCR in the Sj endemic regions in the Philippines. In order to resolve the inconsistency of reported surveys regarding Sj endemicity among carabao, a domestic water buffalo that is the most important draught animal, we introduced 42 schistosome negative water buffalo to Macanip, Jaro municipality, Leyte, the Philippines, a subsistence rice-farming village that has been the focus of schistosomiasis japonica studies of our group for the past 20 years. We conducted perfusion to the remaining 34 buffalo that survived 10 months of nature exposure and Typhoon Haiyan. Thirty-three water buffalo were found to be positive with at least 1 pair of worms from the mesenteric vein. The infection rate is 97%, with the worm burden of 94 (95% confidence interval, 49–138 worms) worms. To our knowledge, this is the first report about S. japonicum worm burden in naturally infected water buffalo in the Philippines. The fact that with less than one-year of exposure, in this human schistosomiasis endemic area, only 1 out of 34 water buffalo was uninfected is striking. Urgent attention is needed for a cost-effective technique for monitoring Sj infection in animals and humans. Meanwhile, intervention implementation, including water buffalo treatment and vaccination, should be taken into consideration.

Matematika merupakan pelajaran yang wajib ditempuh mulai dari jenjang dasar hingga perguruan tinggi. Pada kehidupan nyata banyak siswa yang tidak berminat bahkan menganggap matematika sebagai pelajaran yang menakutkan, tidak menarik, dan membosankan. Penggunaan media pembelajaran berkarakter dengan basis permainan dinilai sangat efektif untuk mengubah paradigma siswa dan menumbuhkan minat belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengembangan media pembelajaran matematika berkarakter melalui permainan edukatif Maticindo (Macanan Matematika Cinta Budaya Indonesia) yang layak digunakan sebagai learning exercise bagi siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan metode 4-D, yaitu define, design, develop and diseminate yang telah dimodifikasi hanya sampai tahap D ketiga. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data deskriptif kuantitatif yang diperoleh dari validator sebagai pakar pengembangan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tes dan angket yang diisi langsung oleh subyek uji coba terbatas (6 siswa kelas VII A) dan uji coba lapangan (seluruh siswa kelas VII B). Teknik analisis yang digunakan meliputi analisis kevalidan, kepraktisan serta keefektifan media pembelajaran matcindo. Hasil menunjukkan, bahwa media pembelajaran matcindo termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid dengan nilai 97,92%. Respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran matcindo sangat positif dengan rata-rata presentase 90,36% pada uji coba terbatas dan 89,73% pada uji coba lapangan, sehingga media pembelajaran dapat dikategorikan praktis. Penggunaan media pembelajaran matcindo juga telah memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan belajar klasikal, yaitu 87,33% pada uji coba terbatas dan 86,52% pada uji coba lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pengembangan yang dilaksanakan dapat disimpulkan bahwa matcindo dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran matematika yang layak karena telah memenuhi kriteria kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan.

Abstract:

O estudo sobre os materiais para obter fibras naturais tem tido grande importância nas últimas décadas devido às características excepcionais que essas fibras oferecem, as quais as convertem em uma alternativa interessante para substituir as fibras sintéticas em diferentes aplicações. O Bambu tem alta disponibilidade em várias regiões do mundo, devido à capacidade de adaptação e de crescimento em diferentes áreas. Apesar de as fibras de bambu estarem sendo altamente aplicadas, sua organização microestrutural dentro das hastes não tem sido estudada amplamente. O objetivo desta pesquisa está baseado no desenvolvimento e estudo das características e distribuição das fibras dentro do colmo no bambu nativo colombiano Guadua angustifolia Kunth. Neste estudo foram consideradas duas variedades de Guadua: Guadua angustifolia Kunth Rayada Amarilla e Guadua angustifolia Kunth Macana. As Guaduas foram analisadas por microscopia eletrônica de varredura, esta técnica é usada para observar a morfologia da fibra de Guadua e a sua variação através do colmo. Difração de raios X é usada para observar variação dos compostos através do colmo. Finalmente, a metodologia da “Association Official Agricultural Chemist – 2000” (AOAC-2000) é usada para obter informação quantitativa do conteúdo de fibra não solúvel. Os resultados indicaram que a distribuição de fibras não solúveis não é homogênea entre as camadas internas e externas da haste do bambu, isso aumenta na direção radial da parede interna até a parede externa; os padrões de difração de raios X mostram que a celulose presente no colmo tem uma preferência de ligação cristalina relacionada à direção do crescimento da planta. A combinação da análise de microscopia eletrônica de varredura e a difração de raios X oferecem informações importantes sobre a distribuição e a morfologia dentro do colmo dos componentes do Bambu.
