Full textThis doctorate shows the primacy of ideological factors and factors external to rural world on the adoption and content of agrarian policy in communist Yugoslavia. The collectivization was replaced by voluntary and milder way of socialist transformation of village, cooperation between socialist sector and peasants, but ideology concerning peasantry remained, reinforced partly by the ideology of the system even self-government (possibility of capitalism, of undue enrichment), hence the limitations to private farms and the impossibility of independent organizations (cooperatives). Due to its role in the revolution, the peasantry had an influence on agrarian policy but indirectly and in part only, however the power taking into account in application of policy, identifications and structures of peasant society. Among factors external to rural world, it can be quoted the influence of the system (self-government and the reorganization then renouncement of collectivization), the agrarian policy contributing on its side to define the system. In Macedonia, the thoroughly application of agrarian policy by leaders was a form of affirmation for Macedonian nation, but leaving aside peasant interests, agrarian policy was not a factor integrating peasantry in nation building, though not preventing it. But contributing to reduce the proportion of Macedonians (rural emigration)
M'Sili, Marine. "Histoire des faits divers en République (1870-1992) : une approche de la laïcisation de la Providence." Aix-Marseille 1, 1996. http://www.theses.fr/1996AIX10091.
Full textThe "faits divers" gave rise to many speech which confine them in a specific role : to show violence and blood in order to satisfy the inclinations of the general public. The analysis of a corpus of 5300 "faits divers" published in two regional daily papers, le petit marseillais (1870-1944) and le provencal (since 1944) questions this preconceived opinion. The inference drawn from an examination of the form and the substance of these news reveals that the accidents, murders, suicides, robberies, natural catastrophes, etc. Are nothing better than a way to justify an expression about chance. The chronicle of the "faits divers" asserts therefore the existence of a superior principle wich shapes human destinies. Finally, providence appears to be responsable before the abnormal events that are reported. Yet, the historical period studied (1870-1992) represents a period of a deep secularization of the french society. But a careful examination of the evolution of the "faits divers" shows a gradual modification of the conception of providence. Indeed, during a first period (1870-1914), the world of the "faits divers" is dominated by the hand of a divine providence. In that, the "fait divers" perpetuates the tradition of its ancestors (occasionnal newspapers and rags of the xvi-xix centuries). But, gradually, references to the society become evident in all the different categories of "faits divers". In the end, in the nineties, a new pattern appears : the "social event"

Full textThe enlargement policy of the European Union concerning the countries of Eastern Europe has triggered considerable interest from the member states for these potential new adherents. The role of media is particularly important in the transition process of these countries. The need for democratization of information and communication policies in this new context is one of the most analyzed issues since media freedom shows the degree of democracy. Despite the fact that in the past it was proven that the analysis of the media effect was privileged, today the foundations of the democratic communication are studied by questioning the new configuration of the political set under the influence of the media, as well as the expansion of the public space in terms of the development of information and communication. In addition, the cultural status of the media is also being inspected along with the use of ICT. The diversity of approaches and the proliferation of angles of study can give the impression of a mosaic knowledge that emphasizes the complexity of the relations between producers and receivers of information. This complex task, which involves all elements of the Macedonian information, proposes to French speaking readers a lesser known subject. The main objectives of this study consist in the presentation of a complete framework of the Macedonian media and also in the analysis of the main problems related to the political and social issues. One of the central points of this study is to highlight the complex relations between politics and communities that are realized through the media. All these subjects create the media influence in one country, which is a pillar of its cultural life, an essential element of its political power and a fundamental factor of its national greatness

Full textThis study investigates the genre of Prime Time South Korean Romantic TV serials (TV dramas),known as k.drama abroad. The first section introduces the history and evolution of the Korean television system. It shows how the system emerged from the influence of general-interest TV channels, such as KBS and MBC,but especially took shape after the foundation of the private TV Channel SBS, which helped to trigger the crazefor Korean audiovisual content in Asia (Korean Wave). The second section describes the history and typology of Korean TV Drama, which sets up my analysis of the Prime-Time TV Schedule from 1992 to 2005. The analysis shows the predominance of TV Dramas and short romantic serials, called “miniseries” by distributors but “trendy dramas” by specialists. I then question those two generic labels, compare them and show their incongruity. After problematizing these labels, I conduct an analysis of fifteen Prime Time TV dramas airedduring the study period and selected because of their audience or representative aspects. By trying to discover ageneric formula, I show the similarities with serial literary romance but differences regarding location and number of secondary narratives. I then demonstrate that the narrative process contains some particular qualities, with a focus on the fluidity of the narrative and the representation of time (coincidence of narrative time withviewing time). The third section of the analysis of the generic process shows the attention to displaying musicand images with an emphasis on sentimental tone. The final section deals with the “mediatization” of theaudiovisual narrative. The process entails the hybridization of content, the consideration of gender in messagingand the strong emphasis on marketing which concentrates on product placement

Full textThe crisis that occured between the Czechs ans Slovaks after the fall of communism in 1989 was the culmination of a seventy-years old historical sequence during which the issue of the arrangement of the relations between the two peoples had continuously been the focus of political concern. Besides the fact that Czecho-Slovak dualism grounded in deep-rooted historical differences in development between the two communities, the Slovaks felt both estranged from the decision-making process and deprived of their share of central-government ressources. In spite of public policies implemented by the parliamentary and socialist regimes, power-decentralization appeared to be the best strategy for the Sslovaks who felt that Czechoslovakia did not equally belong to everyone. The failure of the Czechs and Slovaks to reach a common solution led to the disintegration in 1992

Full textThis dissertation compares the two ruling communist parties in the GDR and in Czechoslovakia from the beginning of the 1950s to the end of the 1970s. Its perspective is that of a social history of politics. For three decades, the communist parties were present in the state apparatus more than anywhere else. However, the majority of party members were recruited in the workplace, mostly among the supervising personnel and to a lesser extent among industrial and agricultural workers. Both parties retained their working-class basis, although the meaning of ‘working class’ gradually evolved : in the 1950s the dissenting habitus that was not uncommon within the ranks of the party gradually receded with the incoming of new generations. The mobilisation and control of party members underwent significant change : at the beginning of the 1950s, belonging to the massive membership of a ruling communist party was a new experience for most of its members as well as for party officials. In the 1950s, a gradual learning process led to the generalization of some bureaucratic procedures and behaviour norms. That trend was more apparent in the GDR than in Czechoslovakia, where affiliation to the party was less massive. The communist partiy in the GDR imposed higher expectations on its members as it was closely linked with the project of a socialist Germany – as opposed to capitalist Germany. The Czechslovakian party contrasted with socialist Germany as its legitimacy rested on its popular appeal in the wake of World War II. The party’s popular appeal was at the root of the liberalizing policy of the 1960s ; it was then severely questioned after the Soviet intervention in 1968
