Every company wants to grow and in order to achieve that, a company needs funding. There are various ways for a company to get funding, be it external or internal. One alternative form of funding is leasing. Leasing is the rental of production equipment by the company (lessee) to the lessor. The company should pay rental fees. Leasing has several advantages over loan financing. The rental fee will be charged at the company's expense. As for loans from financial institutions, only interest costs are charged as fees. The piecewise quadratic fuzzy number (PQFN) can signify uncertain information that exists in scientific, technological, and engineering fields. Hence, it is a useful tool for describing information in scheduling problems. This study examines structured n-job flow shop scheduling with fuzzy piecewise quadratic processing times and three machines. Close interval approximation of PQFNs is also offered as one of the most effective approximate intervals. Furthermore, the leasing cost of equipment is minimized with the use of a fuzzy style and an inventive algorithm. To demonstrate how the proposed

Abstract:
Abstract The period from 1907 up to the end of the First World War saw BTM grow from a very small business, employing a handful of people importing a few machines from the United States, to a medium-sized business with some manufacturing facilities and employing in the region of a hundred people. Probably the best measure of BTM’s progress are its assets and number of personnel (Table 2.1). The assets represented both conventional fixed assets (buildings and machinery), and also a constantly increasing proportion of tabulating machinery on hire. BTM’s growth can be seen as taking place in three phases. First, the period 1907-1911 saw the company tackling the two main problems of entering the office-machinery market: the slow acceptance of office machines in Britain, and the need to raise capital for leasing. The second phase of company growth began with its securing a contract to supply tabulating machines for the British census of 1911. This contract transformed the business outlook of the company, and during the remaining years leading up to the First World War the customer base built up to about thirty installations.

This chapter examines how the managing editor of the Atlanta Constitution and national spokesman of the New South, Henry W. Grady, led Georgia Democrats in building white supremacy in the South. It examines his support and protection of convict leasing; normalization of inflammatory reporting practices in lynching coverage; promotion of the idea of “equal but separate” that became Plessy v. Ferguson’s “separate but equal” doctrine; use of the Atlanta Constitution as the propaganda machine of New South Democrats; and his national advocacy for the disfranchisement of Black southerners. It also documents the New South and Grady critique of Black press leaders such as T. Thomas Fortune and Ida B. Wells-Barnett.
