Abstract:
Currently, 889 species of aphids from three families are known in Kazakhstan: Adelgidae (10 species), Phylloxeridae (2), Aphididae (877) [1]. A new to science genus of aphids Adenophoraphis gen. n. and a new species Adenophoraphis burabaica sp. n. described from Kazakhstan. The specimens of the new taxon were collected in Akmola Region of the northern Kazakhstan in 2002. The new genus belongs to the subtribe Macrosiphina of the tribe Macrosiphini (Aphidinae). It lives on Adenophora liliifolia (L.) A. DC, no ant attendance was observed. During the collection period, only apterous viviparous fem

Investigation of Macrosiphini in Belarus started in the 1900s. However, a regional checklist of Macrosiphini has not been published yet. Based on material preserved in our collections and data scattered across publications, we have compiled the first comprehensive list of Macrosiphini recorded from Belarus and briefly analysed it from the geographical and ecological points of view. The list includes 52 genera, 156 species and 2 subspecies. Abstract:
The tribe Macrosiphini Wilson includes about 41 percent of all known recent aphid species. This taxon is internally quite heterogeneous group. The analysis of various publications devoted to the tribe system, as well as publications containing phylogenetic trees built on the basis of molecular genetic data, including species from the tribe Macrosiphini. As a result of this studies, it makes possible with considerable confidence to assume the presence inside the tribe of several subtribes. It is obvious that the complex of different criteria must be used for constructing a stable system, which
