Abstract:
The sensitivity of a neural network's output to its input and weight perturbations is an important measure for evaluating the network's performance. In this letter, we propose an approach to quantify the sensitivity of Madalines. The sensitivity is defined as the probability of output deviation due to input and weight perturbations with respect to overall input patterns. Based on the structural characteristics of Madalines, a bottomup strategy is followed, along which the sensitivity of single neurons, that is, Adalines, is considered first and then the sensitivity of the entire Madaline network. Bymeans of probability theory, an analytical formula is derived for the calculation of Adalines' sensitivity, and an algorithm is designed for the computation of Madalines' sensitivity. Computer simulations are run to verify the effectiveness of the formula and algorithm. The simulation results are in good agreement with the theoretical results.

Abstract:
This paper proposes a new adaptive learning algorithm for Madalines based on a sensitivity measure that is established to investigate the effect of a Madaline weight adaptation on its output. The algorithm, following the basic idea of minimal disturbance as the MRII did, introduces an adaptation selection rule by means of the sensitivity measure to more accurately locate the weights in real need of adaptation. Experimental results on some benchmark data demonstrate that the proposed algorithm has much better learning performance than the MRII and the BP algorithms.

Abstract:
Une lettre en grec ionien, gravée sur une tablette d’argile cuite et datant probablement du milieu du ve siècle av. J.‑C. (un peu avant plutôt qu’après 450), a été trouvée à Thasos. Elle a été publiée par Natacha Trippé, puis par Madalina Dana, comme étant une lettre privée. Le texte étant conservé de manière très incomplète, son interprétation est difficile. Cet article propose une nouvelle lecture et interprétation hypothétique ; le texte serait une lettre officielle par laquelle un magistrat de la polis Thasos, un certain Euarchos, ordonne à Echiōn fils d’Artymokleēs de célébrer la fête prochaine de Zeus Patrōios et justifie son ordre (malheureusement, la partie de la lettre contenant la justification est perdue). Si cette lecture est correcte, la lettre est une preuve de l’existence d’un culte civique de Zeus Patrōios à Thasos. En outre, on peut comprendre ainsi pourquoi la tablette d’argile a été cuite : le caractère officiel de la lettre exigeait qu’elle soit conservée en permanence et de façon inaltérable. On savait, grâce à des inscriptions gravées sur des bornes trouvées dans le Thesmophorion de Thasos ou (dans un cas) provenant de là, que quelques‑unes des patrai thasiennes vénéraient Zeus Patrōios, c’est‑à‑dire « Zeus de la famille », comme étant leur dieu. Désormais, on peut faire le constat que la communauté civique en tant qu’ensemble célébrait une fête en l’honneur de ce dieu. Elle le concevait sans doute comme étant le père de cette grande famille qu’était la polis. Le présent article soutient que les patrai thasiennes étaient des subdivisions des phylai. L’existence de ces dernières ressort d’une inscription qui mentionne les Geleontes.

Os baixos índices de escolarização seguido dos elevados índices de analfabetismo da população jovem e adulta que vive no campo tem sido uma preocupação constante por parte do Movimento dos Trabalhadores Rurais Sem Terra, estando presente a reivindicação de escolas e de cursos de escolarização para jovens e adultos no interior dos assentamentos rurais provenientes da reforma agrária. Apesar da oferta de EJA ter aumentado a permanência escolar ainda é um desafio a ser superado nos assentamentos rurais do interior do estado do Ceará, visto que menos de 50% dos alunos matriculados permanecem e concluem os cursos. Diante do exposto, a presente pesquisa teve como objetivo estudar quais os aspectos da escola de Ensino Fundamental 25 de Maio II influenciavam a permanência escolar na turma de EJA da Vila do Quieto, assentamento 25 de Maio, cidade de Madalena, Ceará. Pesquisa qualitativa do tipo descritiva e explicativa, que se caracteriza como um estudo de caso, tendo o assentamento 25 de Maio como unidade de pesquisa. Como instrumentos metodológicos, usei a observação participante, a entrevista semiestruturada e a análise do PPP da Escola E.F. 25 de Maio II e do Diário de Aula das turmas de EJA referente aos anos de 2010, 2011 e 2012. Como forma de registro usou-se um diário de campo, um gravador digital e uma câmera fotográfica. Os sujeitos da pesquisa foram alunos e ex-alunos de EJA; uma professora de EJA; a Coordenadora Municipal de EJA. Os fundamentos teórico-metodológicos em que se assenta a pesquisa centram-se nos princípios de Educação Libertadora de Freire (1996, 1994, 2000), mantendo diálogo com autores como Giroux (1986), Libâneo (2007,1991), Saviane (2007, 2008), Brandão (1984, 2006), Di Pierro e Haddad (2001), Medeiros (2003), Vendramini (2002), Arroyo, Caldart e Molina (2009, 2004); Dourado (2005), Lenskij (2006), Ens (2012), Oliveira (1999), Carvalho (2006), Furtado (2009), Souza (2011), Barreto (2007). Os resultados da pesquisa revelam que fatores internos a escola como a gestão e a prática pedagógica tem influenciado negativamente a permanência escolar. Um dos grandes dilemas da escola do campo é o fato da mesma ser regida pela Secretaria de Municipal de Educação, mas situar-se fisicamente no contexto do assentamento, que exige outro entendimento de educação, uma concepção de Educação do Campo. A oferta da EJA apenas a nível fundamental não tem garantido a permanência escolar no campo, pois ocorre de forma pontual e descontínua. Assim, a EJA deveria ofertar todos os níveis de conhecimento de forma permanente e continua, além de ser contemplada no PPP da escola.

The objective of this study is to research women s leadership in the primitive Christianity, starting from the figure of Mary Magdalene in Jo 20,1-18. The exegetic, view as well as research on women s situation in the first century, show: a) Women that followed Jesus were part of the disciples group, and Mary Magdalene had strong influence among them in the community; b) she accompanied Jesus since the beginning of his ministry in Galilee, and her leadership and authority in primitive Christianity conferred her the disciple status c) the Pericope that is studied has as a fundamental concept the conflict of leaderships among three traditions: John s, the Peter s and Mary Magdalene s. Comparing the Pericopes of John with certain Gnostic writings, its noticeable that in these writings Mary Magdalene s leadership is manifested with stronger intensity, and the conflict with Peter is more accentuated. She is considered the Master of the disciples. The research not only rescues the leader figure of Christianity, but also shows, via the exegesis, the process of the cooptation of women s leadership.(AU)
O objetivo deste trabalho é pesquisar a liderança das mulheres no cristianismo primitivo, a partir da figura de Maria Madalena em Jo 20,1-18. A abordagem exegética, bem como a pesquisa sobre a situação das mulheres no primeiro século, aponta: a) as mulheres que seguiam a Jesus faziam parte do grupo dos discípulos, e Maria Madalena tinha uma grande influência entre eles na comunidade; b) ela acompanhou Jesus desde o início do seu ministério na Galiléia, e a sua liderança e autoridade no cristianismo primitivo lhe confere o status de discípula; c) a perícope estudada tem como contexto um conflito de lideranças entre três tradições: a joanina, a petrina e a de Maria Madalena. Comparando a perícope joanina com alguns escritos gnósticos percebemos que nesses escritos, a liderança de Maria Madalena é manifestada com maior intensidade e o conflito com Pedro é mais acentuado. Ela é considerada Mestra dos discípulos. A pesquisa não só resgata a figura de uma líder do cristianismo, como também mostra, na exegese, o processo de cooptação da liderança feminina.(AU)

Abstract:
Trata das representações de protagonistas femininas nas histórias em quadrinhos, enfatizando exemplos de histórias que abordam concepções identitárias distintas. Com o intuito de compreender como o feminino aparece em determinadas criações, esta tese se apoia nos pressupostos metodológicos da Hermenêutica de Profundidade, de John B. Thompson (2011). Assim, a pesquisa apresenta dois momentos dorsais, sendo que o primeiro aborda as construções femininas, a partir da perspectiva de autores masculinos; e o segundo aborda tais construções a partir da perspectiva de autoras-mulheres e do autor transgênero Laerte. Em princípio, foram enfatizadas as personagens das obras Rê Bordosa, Mara-Tara, As skotinhas, Radical Chic e Aline. Posteriormente, tratou-se de destacar também as criações Mulher de 30, Amely: uma mulher de verdade, Uma Patada com carinho e Muriel. Dessa forma, constatouse que grande parte dessas narrativas oscilam entre criticar, debochar e apoiar uma ideia de feminino fundamentada na mística feminina, desenvolvida pela pensadora Betty Friedan (1971).
The feminine issue within today\'s society is an essential part of the communication field. In comics, the female representations are even more intricate. Based on that, and emphasizing cases that present differents conceptions of identity, this research is constituted by two dorsal moments: the first of which covers the female constructs from the perspective of maleauthors; and the second discusses such constructions from the perspective of the femaleauthor and Laerte, who is, by the way, a transgender author. In order to understand how the female shows up in several creations, this thesis is based on the methodological assumptions of John B. Thompson (2011). First of all, were objects of this work the characters Rê Bordosa, Mara-Tara, As skotinhas, Radical Chic and Aline. Later, were added the works Mulher de 30, Amely: uma mulher de verdade, Uma patada com carinho; and Muriel. Thus, there is a large evidence that the most part of these narratives swings between scoffing and supporting the idea of female, based on the feminine mystic, by Betty Friedan (1971).

The objective of this paper is to demonstrate that in the Christian occident the image of Maria Magdalen, a well-known biblical character underwent some changes throughout the centuries. The aim was to de-characterize the apostolic work carried out by women, and that contributed to build the identity of the female gender, marked by low self-esteem, and as a consequence, by weak empowerment. Aiming at recreating the path of the construction of this image, the author researched selected fundamental texts of Christianity, biblical literature, apocryphal literature as well as the patristic literature, using interpretation keys advocated by the feministic hermeneutics, which allows us to read gender as an analytic category of relationships built on the basis of culture. It was possible to ascertain that, in Maria Magdalen the female archetype was created, the biblical ideal that had to be transported to the concrete aspects of daily life, an apostle whole importance was minimized by the authors of the Canon.
O objetivo desse trabalho é demonstrar que no ocidente cristão a imagem da conhecida personagem bíblica Maria Madalena foi alterada ao longo dos séculos com o objetivo de descaracterizar o apostolado de mulheres, o que contribuiu para a construção da identidade de gênero feminina marcada pela baixa auto estima e, conseqüentemente pelo fraco empoderamento. Com a finalidade de se reconstituir a trajetória dessa construção imagética, foram pesquisados alguns textos fundantes do cristianismo, a literatura bíblica, a literatura apócrifa, e a patrística, utilizando as chaves de interpretação preconizadas pela hermenêutica feminista, que nos permite a leitura de gênero como categoria analítica de relações construídas culturalmente. Verificamos que se personifica, em Maria Madalena, um arquétipo feminino, ideal bíblico a ser transportado para o concreto cotidiano, apóstola cuja importância foi minimizada pelos autores do texto do Cânon.

Projeto de Graduação apresentado à Universidade Fernando Pessoa como parte dos requisitos para obtenção do grau de licenciado em Criminologia
No presente projecto de graduação é desenvolvida a planificação de um projecto de intervenção em jovens com um comportamento desviante e nos seus pais e responsáveis legais. O local da sua aplicação seria na Madalena, em Vila Nova de Gaia, na Associação de Solidariedade Social da Madalena. A sua avaliação das necessidades consiste numa observação participante, realizada durante o período de estágio, uma entrevista grupal com os jovens, uma entrevista semi-directiva com os técnicos da associação, e uma consulta de processos. Esta avaliação tem como objectivo ser diversificada nas suas formas de recolha de dados, permitindo assim uma informação mais precisa e abrangente. Após esta avaliação e com base nos factores de risco e proteção identificados foram delineados os objectivos do programa, que de forma geral procuram uma prevenção de comportamentos desviantes, um apoio escolar e uma intervenção ao nível familiar. Concluída a elaboração de objectivos gerais e específicos, foram delineadas as intervenções para a obtenção dos mesmos, que foram baseadas em programas já elaborados e cujos resultados das suas aplicações foram positivos. De seguida, foi estruturada uma avaliação de resultados para que estes possam ser posteriormente analisados e o projecto devidamente melhorado e adaptado a novas exigências.
In this graduation project it was developed the planning of an intervention program for juvenile people with deviant behavior and their parents and legal representatives. The location of its application would be in Madalena, in Vila Nova de Gaia, in the Associação de Solidariedade Social da Madalena. The needs assessment consists in a participant observation, held during the internship period, a group interview with the juvenile, a semi-directive interview with the association's technicians, and a file consultation. This needs assessment aims to be diversified in its forms of data collection, allowing for more precise information. After this evaluation and based on identified risk and protective factors, the program objectives were outlined, which generally seek the prevention of deviant behaviors, school support and intervention at the family level. Once the development of general and specific objectives is concluded, interventions were outlined for accomplishing them, which were based on programs already developed and with positive results. Then, there was structured an outcomes assessment so that the results of the program application can later be analyzed and improved and adapted to new requirements.

Na presente dissertação, analisa-se a história de Maria Madalena e a sua importância para a Igreja Católica, bem como a alteração da influência da sua imagem, depois do discurso feito pelo Papa Gregório I, em 599 d.C. no qual considerou Maria Madalena pecadora adúltera e possessa, porque Jesus lhe teria expulsado do corpo sete demónios. Os sete demónios, símbolos dos sete pecados mortais - que Maria Madalena nunca cometeu - não passam de uma confusão entre os chamados “Sacerdotes dos Sete Demónios”, a quem competia controlar os casamentos dinásticos, preparando as almah, as raparigas jovens, para o casamento sagrado, costume ainda em vigor nos tempos de Jesus.O casamento de Jesus com Maria Madalena vinha repor a polaridade feminina que faltava ao Deus patriarcal judaico, de que Jesus tanto falava. Deste modo, esse casamento concretizaria as profecias do Sacerdotes de Qumram, registadas no Manuscrito de Cobre sobre a vinda de dois Messias. Maria Madalena seria o Messias feminino esperado, “o Messias das Virtudes” da linhagem dos Macabeus, Sacerdotes Angelicais de Qumram. Jesus, o outro Messias esperado, descendia da linhagem guerreira de David. Estes factos talvez causassem temor à Igreja de Gregório I, levando-o a afastar a imagem benéfica de Maria Madalena e o seu culto substituindo-a com uma nova versão de Madalena, evitando assim perguntas sobre a sua verdadeira história, que era também a história dos primórdios do Cristianismo. Maria Madalena, considerada por Jesus sua companheira e sua igual, era constantemente contestada pelos outros apóstolos. Com efeito, a sua condição feminina e de mulher culta suscitava nos apóstolos um sentimento de grande rivalidade, por se considerarem superiores enquanto homens, de acordo com a mentalidade da época. Depois da crucificação, Maria Madalena reuniu os discípulos, transmitindo-lhes força através das palavras do Mestre, assim nos mostra o seu Evangelho cuja autoria lhe é atribuída, bem como o Evangelho de Filipe. Mais tarde, parte para Sul de França, buscando refúgio, acompanhada por alguns apóstolos. Durante séculos a sua história influencia toda a região da Aquitânia e nessa região nasce uma cultura original, a do povo cátaro, “ou puro”, baseada nos valores igualitários do Cristianismo primitivo, transmitidos pela sua Igreja do Amor ou a Igreja Invisível, como também era conhecida, por se manter independente da Igreja de Roma. No âmbito da cultura cátara, na região rica de Provença, surge o movimento da poesia trovadoresca, o “Amor Cortês”, cujos valores de respeito pela dama se inspiravam “para muitos”, em Maria Madalena considerada a Dompna cantada pelos trovadores. O modelo do amor cavalheiresco foi surpreendentemente aceite. Os valores de igualdade entre homens e mulheres começaram a ser cantados e divulgados, numa tentativa, embora não muito consciente, que iria contribuir para o renascimento da ideia de igualdade de géneros, nos séculos XII e XIII, na Europa.
