Full text--- The Component of Growth and Development, is a group of activities that they contribute, improving the state of the infantile population's health through the opportune, periodic and systematic evaluation of the growth and development, of the girl and the boy smaller than 9 years detecting risks, alterations or dysfunctions of the growth and development precociously, for its attention and reference; promoting appropriate practices of care and upbringing at family and community level. The present study was of qualitative type, with focus of Study of Case qualitative titled: The Component Growth and Development: Meaning for the Mothers of Children from 1 to 4 Years of AAHH New Union with the objective of Understanding the meaning that they grant to the Component of Growth and Development the mothers of children from 1 to 4 years of age of A.A.H.H New Union. The used techniques were the interview semi-structured to twelve mothers and a grandmother, and the observations carried out in the Component of Growth and Development of the Position of Health 11 of Julio, the gathering of data was carried out in the period of August from the 2009 to January of the 2010. For the analysis of the data these were coded and categorized; finally the following ones emerged you fear: the mothers' Conception it has more than enough health - illness of the children, Conceptions of the mother’s enough Component of Growth and Development, Reasons for those that the mothers go or not to Component CRED, Interrelation Mother - Nurse – child. The topics reveal the meaning that the mothers have on the component of Growth and Development in relation to the childs health from 1 to 4 years, settling down that the mothers consider as central axis of the attention of CRED the application of the vaccines that is the main motivation for that they go to the establishment of health with their child.

Full textChild malnutrition affects a large part of the population under 5 years worldwide. The causes of this serious phenomenon are multiple and of different types: social, political, economic and cultural, for example, low income, maternal illness, lack of access to information about the nutritional requirements at this stage of life, the customs of the parents regarding the child's diet, inadequate dietary habits, physical inactivity, popular beliefs on the subject, etc. However, responsibility for feeding children under 5 years rests with parents or carers, as it is they who provide food to children and inculcate the habits related to food. Therefore, the nurse in preventive and promotional work to evaluate the growth and development of children must provide nutrition information and guidance to parents about the requirements at this stage, among other things, to promote adequate nutrition our children. In this context we undertook the present study entitled Attitudes Towards The Infant Alimentation In Mothers Of Preschool Children's "Belen Kids". Los Olivos. 2011, aimed to: determine the attitudes of mothers towards infant alimentation in the preschool "Belen Kids", the study was application level, quantitative, cross sectional design. The population consisted of 45 mothers of children aged 3 to 5 years and the sample was 32 mothers. The results were that of 32 mothers (100%), 17 mothers (53%) had unfavorable attitudes towards infant alimentation and 15 mothers (47%) favorable attitudes. It was concluded that there is a tendency for mothers of unfavorable attitudes towards infant Alimentation. These attitudes influence their children's nutrition, which could generate them from malnutrition, putting them at risk for disorders that affect normal growth, development and predispose to disease throughout life. Full text-- The current investigation entitled Relationship between the level of knowledge by mothers about infantile feeding and the nutritional status of pre – school students in Initial Educational Institution "Nº 111", at Callao, in 2008. Main objective: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge by mothers about infantile feeding and the nutritional status of pre – school students in Initial Educational Institution "Nº 111", at Callao, in 2008. The research was quantitative, application level and design was correlational transversal method. The sample consisted of 30 mothers. For this investigation, the technique applied was the interview and the instrument was the questionnaire. Results: Of 100% (30) of mothers tested, 67% (20) had a level of knowledge of medium to low on healthy eating. Regarding the nutritional status of preschoolers, 34% (11) had some type of malnutrition and 20% (6) had obesity. The conclusion reached was that most mothers introduced a level of knowledge of medium to low and their children had some type of nutritional problem. By establishing the relationship by Chi-square test, accepted the research hypothesis, concluding that a relationship exists between the level of knowledge of mothers and nutritional status of preschool children.

To identify the economic level of the pre-school students´s families To identify the Mothers´ Knowledge and Economical Level about pre-school student feeding To evaluate the pre-school student nutritional status Method: Correlational Transversal Method. Population: 2-5 years old children of the Pestalozzi Familiar Promotion Center and their mothers. Instrument: Questionnaire Technique: Survey – (Interview) Results: 78.8% 840) mothers have medium or low knowledge level about pre-school students balanced feeding. 84.5% (38) families have medium or low economical level. 35.6% (16) of the children have chronic and/or global undernutrition. Conclusion: Most of the mothers that have medium or low knowledge level also have medium or low economical level and, their children have chronic and/or global undernutrition. Hypothesis has to be rejected after the application of the Chi square test. This means that there is not relationship between knowledge and economical level and the nutritional status.

Full textThe present titled study: "Knowledge and Practices that have the mothers on the content of the lonchera and its relation with the nutricional state of prestudent of the Educative Institution N° 524 Our Lady of the Hope ", has like objective: To establish the relation between the knowledge and practices that have the mothers on the content of the lonchera and the nutricional state of the prestudent. method was descriptivo corelational of cross section. The population was conformed by 150 mothers and their children, the probabilístico sampling was used random simple. The instrument was the questionnaire, the technique was survey and a card of Nutricional Evaluation. The results were that of the 100% (150) of mothers, 38% (57) have knowledge medio; 36% (54) low and 26% (49) stop. As far as prácticas 76.7% (115) have practices inadequate and 23. adecuadas 3% (35). As far as the State Nutricional 49.3% (74) are normal; 50.7% (76) you have problems nutricionales. The conclusions were that the greater percentage of mothers they have related means knowledge to low to that they do not know the importance of lonchera, the regulating foods, the foods that favor the absorption of the others and the drink that is due to send to the children in the lonchera. majority of mothers has inadequate practices as far as the content of lonchera, being that most of the mothers they send to his children cakes, infusions, milk, bread with chicken and mayonnaise. In whatever to the nutricional state, predominates the prestudents with problems nutricionales. When establishing relation by means of the test of the square Ji was that relation between the knowledge of the mothers does not exist on the content of the lonchera and the nutricional state of the prestudent, and between practices and state nutricional; nevertheless is relation between the knowledge and practices of the mothers on the content of the lonchera.

Full textDetermina las prácticas en la alimentación complementaria, en madres de niños de 6 a 12 meses, en el consultorio de Control de Crecimiento y Desarrollo (CRED), del Centro de Salud José Carlos Mariátegui (J.C.M) y el Puesto de Salud “Valle Bajo”. El estudio es de tipo cuantitativo, nivel aplicativo, método descriptivo de corte transversal. La población está conformada, en el Puesto de Salud “Valle Bajo”, por 176 madres, y en el Centro Materno Infantil J.C.M está conformado por 250 madres con niños de 6 a 12 meses de edad, que acuden al consultorio de CRED del niño. La muestra es de 30 y 50 madres de niños de 6-12 meses, respectivamente. Se concluye que en el Puesto Salud “Valle bajo”, las prácticas correctas identificadas en el estudio son el 53% y las prácticas incorrectas son el 47%; mientras que en el Centro Materno Infantil “José Carlos Mariátegui”, las prácticas correctas son el 52% y las prácticas incorrectas son el 48%, teniendo porcentajes similares en ambos establecimientos de salud.

THE AGUSTINO. 2009, aims to determine the effectiveness of the educational session “Learning to prepare nutritious lunches” in increasing knowledge of mothers of preschool children of school No. 127 San Jose, and identify the knowledge level of mothers of preschool children on preparing lunch boxes before and after implementation of the educational session. The study is application level, quantitative, quasi-experimental method. The population consisted of 200 mothers of children 3 to 5 years and the sample was 59 mothers. The results were that of 59 mothers (100%) before the implementation of the educational session, 55 mothers (93.22%) had a low knowledge level, 3 mothers (5.08%) at medium and 1 mother (1.70%) a high level Applied after the educational session, the percentage of mothers with low levels significantly decreased to 0% and also the percentage of mothers with a high level increases significantly to 96%. It is concluded that one accepts the hypothesis of study: the educational session is effective “Learning to prepare nutritious lunches “in increasing the knowledge of mothers of preschoolers on preparing nutritious lunches.

Full text-- The purpose of stimulation early is to develop and to harness the cerebral functions of baby means of games and repetitive exercises, as much in the intellectual plane, like in the physicist, affective and social. The present study of investigation must like objective determine the effectiveness of the nurse advisor on stimulation in the first son mothers with suckling babies of 0 6 months. The study is cuasiexperimental of cross-sectional type, cont with participation of 15 the first son and nursing mothers of 0 6 months pertaining to A.A. H. H. My Peru - Window, which received sessions of early advisor of nurse on stimulation by a period of three months. The instrument that to use for harvesting of data was the Interview Survey and the Tool of Scale of Evaluation of Development Psychomotor (EEDP). The hypothesis of the study was: When the first son mothers receive early advisor of nurse on stimulation incrementing the knowledge and the psychomotor development of the suckling babies of 0 6 months. All the suckling babies pertaining in this study to the beginning of session acquired a coefficient development average of 0,89 at the end of the same one obtained an average of 1.01. Same ace the primroses mothers before of the sessions obtained a level of low knowledge with an average of 10,9 finalizing with a level of high knowledge with 18. 4. One concludes that the advisor of Nurse, demister to be one intervening valid and successful in promoting the quality of interacting of the mother with the suckling baby by means of stimulation early in the disadvantage sectors. She had significant effects on the psychomotor development of the suckling babies of 0 - 6 months.

Full textThe human being's integral formation, the first three years of life are decisive for their minor or bigger adaptation to the means. Around the boy's education it rotates a group of factors that you are given in the breast of the family, school and the society. The love that receives, the quality and quantity of the foods that it ingests and the atmosphere partner - cultural in that is unwrapped, it plays an important paper in the small boy's life. It is necessary to build a world where the boy can be developed in a free and balanced way and to become an integrated being and not forced in the psychological, moral and social plane. One of the key points to achieve this development in the children is the early stimulation. During my practical pre - professionals in the C.M.I. "Daniel Alcides Carrión" to the interaction with the family mothers on the early stimulation, they referred not to know that it was that, other on the other hand they manifested that they were things that their children should make and other alone mothers brought it for their vaccination. It is known that the boy is assisted since he is born mainly for the mother who assumes the responsibility of his attention and the execution of the activities of early stimulation, if the mother doesn't know that it is the early stimulation or that aspects are developed then in this she won't be able to stimulate her son correctly, you is for that reason that the restlessness arises of investigating this problem: which is the level of knowledge that the mothers have on the early stimulation in the children smaller than one year in the infantile maternal center "Daniel Alcides Carrión"?. Having as main objective to determine the level of the mothers' knowledge about the early stimulation in their children smaller than one year that you/they go to the service of the Component CRED of the Stage of Life Boy. The purpose went to motivate the personnel of health to be involved in the programming of training activities it has more than enough early stimulation, as well as to a permanent education inside the service, to end that the mothers that go to the same one receive the preparation that contributes to strengthen the development of the children and for to guarantee the quality of attention that you toasts in the institution, also to form professionals so that in the institutions or daycare centers, emphasize the importance of the early stimulation in the boy. Inside the theoretical bases it was considered aspects on the early stimulation, the nurse's list in the program of CRED, the boy's definition smaller than one year and definition of the knowledge. The main conclusion to which you arrived was that the level of the mothers' knowledge on the early stimulation is of half level.

Full text--- This study entitled "Effectiveness of an educational program on knowledge and practices of parents of preschool children about the contents of the lunchbox, in the I.E.I N ° 326" Maria Montessori "district of Comas – 2010. The aimed was to determine the effectiveness of an educational program on knowledge and practices of parents of preschool children on the contents of the lunchbox, according to demographic characteristics. The study was application level, quantitative approach; method quasi – experimental and cross sectional. The population consisted of 58 parents. Two instruments were used for data collection: an interview - survey led to the knowledge referred by parents, and a checklist to monitor the content of children's lunchboxes. The instruments were submitted for the validity of expert opinion. Among the key findings are: The educational program was effective, since the results showed a significant increase in knowledge and improved practices of parents with regard to the contents of the lunchbox. Thus, with regard to knowledge these increased 93.1% (54) of the participating parents and practices concerning these improved in 91.4% (53). Keywords: knowledge, practice, educational program, school lunches, and sociodemographic characteristics.

For data collection techniques used were two: the first referring to video-forum on "Newborn Care at Home" and the second the interview-survey, conducted primiparous teenage mothers, both for the control group as for the experimental. From the results obtained in general terms, there is evidence that teenage mothers evaluated before application of the conventional technique, showed 85% or incorrect knowledge, totally ignore the 13% and only 2% had correct knowledge. In the post-test results, incorrect knowledge increased to 87%, unknown 6% and dropped to a correct knowledge showed 2% of control mothers. With respect to the experimental group in the pre-test, 93% had incorrect knowledge, and 7% were unaware. While following the application of audiovisual technology, 93% had correct knowledge, and only 2% had incorrect knowledge. In conclusion, visual-art participatory proved effective in the experimental group, as we noted, that this technique makes learning to identify, understand and create messages. For that reason it is necessary That infirmary fortifies the educative actions about the Prevention and Consequences of the Ferropénica Anemia through design of a Program of Promotion and Prevention oriented to the mothers who attend generally the consultation of CRED and the community, to emphasize in the pursuit of the mothers of children with risk to anemia traverse of the domiciliary visits, to realise more studies on nutritional practices for the prevention of the ferropénica anemia because it does not exist on the matter antecedent, with the purpose of to be able to diminish the Ferropénica Anemia in our country. Full text-- Objective: To determine the effectiveness of the educational program in increasing knowledge among mothers of preschool children about preparing healthy lunchboxes Initial Educational Institution "San Martin de Porres" Cercado de Lima district. Methods: The quantitative study, application level, method quasi - experimental and single cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 28 mothers. The technique used was the interview and a questionnaire instrument, which was subjected to expert judgments applied before and after the implementation of educational program for knowledge concerning the mothers, which was tried in experts applied before and after the implementation of the educational program. Results: Of 100% (28) mothers surveyed, before participating in the educational program, 45% (11) know about preparing nutritious lunchbox. After participating in the educational program 100% (28) mothers, increased knowledge on preparation of nutritious lunchbox. Conclusions: The educational program on preparing nutritious lunchbox was effective in increasing knowledge of mothers, after the implementation of the educational program, which was demonstrated by the Student t test, t calc yielding a 12.4, with α: 0.05, so the hypothesis is accepted and a significance level of verified study the effectiveness of the educational program. Before the implementation of the educational program most mothers did not know about the importance of proteins, energy food combining, builders and regulators to consider the cheese as a food rich in calcium contributions. After execution of the entire educational program of carers known about the preparation of the lunchbox, and appropriate models of preparing nutritious lunchbox, the importance of food combining energy, builders and regulators high nutritional content. Full textIdentificar los conocimientos y los estilos de apego en madre y niño(a) de 6 a 12 meses en el centro de salud Nicrupampa de la provincia de Huaraz, 2017. El estudio es de tipo cuantitativo, método descriptivo de corte transversal. De la población de 355 pacientes, se obtiene una muestra de 104 madres de niños(as) de 6 a 12 meses de edad que asistían a los consultorios de atención en crecimiento y desarrollo. Los instrumentos fueron el cuestionario y la ficha de observación en base a la “Escala Massie-Campbell de indicadores de apego madre-bebé en situaciones de stress” o Escala de Apego Durante Stress (ADS). El resultado fue que de 53% (55) de madres no conoce acerca del apego. En estilos de apego, 81% (84) de diadas madre niño(a) tienen apego seguro; 13% (14), apego inseguro evitante y 6% (6) apego inseguro ambivalente. Se concluye que menos de mitad de madres de niños(as) de 6 a 12 meses de edad, conocen acerca del apego predisponiendo a posibles e inadecuadas prácticas de conformación de este vínculo seguro en los niños(as) desde sus primeros días de vida, constituyendo un riesgo para la futura salud mental del infante. El estilo de apego predominante en la relación madre niño(a) de 6 a 12 meses es el Seguro, prevaleciendo en sus elementos como la mirada, evitación, sosteniendo, afecto, proximidad, tanto en la madre como en el niño(a). A excepción del elemento “vocalización”, donde predomina en el niño(a) el apego inseguro evitativo; situación que evidencia la menor expresividad del lenguaje en esta zona y se corrobora con los problemas del lenguaje expresivo en niños(as) de mayor edad, inclusive en la adultez influyendo en su desenvolvimiento social.

Full textDeterminar los conocimientos y actitudes hacia la lactancia materna exclusiva que poseen las madres de niños menores de 4 meses, que acuden al Control de Crecimiento y Desarrollo del niño sano, en un Centro de Salud, Lima 2017. El estudio es de tipo cuantitativo, nivel aplicativo, tipo descriptivo de corte transversal. La población estuvo conformada por 40 madres de niños menores de 4 meses que asistieron a las consultas de Crecimiento y Desarrollo. Se aplicaron dos instrumentos, un cuestionario elaborado con 17 preguntas, de opción múltiple para medir conocimientos y también se empleó la escala modificada tipo Lickert, con 20 ítems para medir las actitudes. El resultado fue que el 55% (22) no conocen sobre la lactancia materna exclusiva y el 45% (18) si conocen. Acerca de la actitud hacia la lactancia materna exclusiva el 47.5% (19) tienen una actitud medianamente favorable, el 12.5%(5) es desfavorable y el 40% (16) es favorable. Se concluye que la gran mayoría de madres asistentes al Servicio de Control del Crecimiento y Desarrollo en el Centro de Salud desconocen el tiempo de duración de la lactancia materna, la importancia inmunológica del calostro, la frecuencia en la toma o lactada del bebé, los beneficios para la madre, el niño y para la sociedad que brinda la leche materna, la manera correcta de la extracción y conservación. La mayoría de madres tienen una actitud medianamente favorable para darle al niño lactancia materna exclusiva.
