The processes of globalization of international trade involve the unhindered movement of resources and goods, which is objectively impossible to carry out without maritime transport. Currently, maritime transport provides sustainable foreign economic transport and production relations between individual countries. Sea transportation occupies about 80% of the world’s cargo turnover, and this percentage increases every year. Sea transportation is the most efficient, reliable and economical way of international transportation of most goods. Corporate social responsibility is an integral part of sustainable development of maritime cargo transportation companies and includes care for the environment, labor rights and human rights, business ethics. In 2018, a strategy directed towards reducing annual greenhouse gas emissions from vessels by 2050 by at least 50% of the total volume compared to 2008 was adopted. The article proposes methods for calculating tracking indicators of the sea transport energy efficiency, basic elements of planning the energy efficiency management of the vessel are allocated. The sustainable development strategy of the Danish company Maersk, specializing in maritime freight transportation and port terminal maintenance, envisages four areas - climate change, inclusive trade, food loss and ship recycling. The Maersk’s partners are international organizations that contribute to the implementation of the UN sustainable development strategy. Since 2019 Maersk reports a 42% reduction in relative CO2 emissions compared to 2008. The company plans to jointly develop carbon dioxide fuel types and sustainable fuel solutions with energy suppliers, as well as with technology developers, researchers, investors and other transportation companies and logistics providers. Thus, Maersk is gradually demonstrating a global commitment to the ecologically sustainable logistics in line with its commitment to reducing carbon emissions across the supply chain. Maersk has taken the initiative to abandon the use of fossil fuels and has set a global goal of achieving zero carbon emissions by 2050 in the performance of all its operations.

Dari posisi geografis, letaknya sangat strategis karena berhadapan langsung dengan Selat Malaka dan berpotensi sebagai pelabuhan penunjang bagi Pelabuhan Belawan.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menyusuan rekomendasi pengembangan Pelabuhan Kuala Tanjung sebagai pelabuhan hub internasional ditinjau dari aspek jaringan pelayanan. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kombinasi antara penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif, regresi berganda dan SWOT. Besarnya demand dan posisi yang strategis di alur pelayaran internasional serta didukung oleh kedalaman kolam pelabuhan 16-17 mLWS mampu disandari kapal-kapal dengan kapasitas 50.000 DWT. Pelabuhan Kuala Tanjung dititikberatkan untuk dapat menarik demand dari rute-rute strategis yang dilalui oleh shipping line utama di Selat Malaka, seperti MAERSK, CMA, EVERGREEN, dan lain-lain. Menjadikan Pelabuhan Kuala Tanjung sebagai satu-satunya pelabuhan di Indonesia Bagian Barat untuk melakukan Ekspor Impor berdasarkan Port Centrality Index. Pembangunan konektivitas jaringan transportasi global antar pulau secara terintegrasi dengan mengembangkan jalur pelayaran dan operasional short sea shipping secara terjadwal serta revitalisasi pelabuhan pengumpul dan utama guna menjamin muatan di Kuala Tanjung.Kata kunci: Kuala Tanjung, Hub Internasional, Jaringan Pelayanan. The purpose of this research is to develop recommendation of Kuala Tanjung Port development as international hub port in terms of network service aspect. The research approach used is a combination of qualitative and quantitative research. The analytical method used is descriptive, multiple regression and SWOT. The magnitude of demand and strategic position in the international shipping lanes and supported by the depth of harbor pool 16-17 mLWS capable of in transit ships with a capacity of 50,000 DWT. Kuala Tanjung Port is focused on being able to attract demand from strategic routes through major shipping line in the Malacca Strait, such as MAERSK, CMA, EVERGREEN, and others. The Liner services provides regular shipments of goods between ports within the set timeframe. A fixed route, the obligation of receiving cargo and to go to sea with established schedule distinguishes line service from the sea transportation of bulk cargo. Containerization, establishment and improvement of routes and infrastructure helped liner shipping to become the driving force of Global economy, which supports the growth of international trade, development of different business forms such as mainly small and medium sized businesses. The shipment volume of containerized cargo was 37.1 M.TEU in 1994, by 2020 the figure reached up to 143.3 M.TEU. This indicator was growing at a high rate on East-West route during 1990-2016; In terms of North-South, South-South and intraregional route same measure was high between 1990-2004 years. Afterwards, Abovementioned growth has become more stable. Containerization changed the structure of Liner fleet. If general cargo vessels deadweight was growing during 1970-2010 (From 40.5M Dwt to 99.7M Dwt), in the latest 10 years, the tonnage has been decreasing and as for 2020 it was 74.6M Dwt. In exchange for this the number of container ships have been growing consistently and in 2020 it consisted of 274.7M Dwt. Maersk became the largest line operator since 2001 (with a market share of 9.4%) and by 2020 it’s share of the business has grown to 17%. The company owns container terminals worldwide, including the Poti container terminal. MSC is on second place (9.4% market share), COSCO is on third place (12.4%) and CMA CGM takes forth place (11.8%). Abstract Liner shipping is the most efficient mode of transport for goods. International liner shipping is a sophisticated network of regularly scheduled services that transports goods from anywhere in the world to anywhere in the world at low cost and with greater energy efficiency than any other form of international transportation. Liner shipping connects countries, markets, businesses and people, allowing them to buy and sell goods on a scale not previously possible. Today, the liner shipping industry transports goods representing approximately one-third of the total value of global trade. Ocean shipping contributes significantly to international stability and security. Considering the large and constant struggle in the market in terms of competitive pricing of products, a very important and indispensable role represents the container transport with a clear task to define the final price of the product. This paper analyzes the costs of container transport flow between Far East and Serbia, using different liner shipping services, observing the six world’s largest container operators (Maersk Line, Mediterranean Shipping Company, CMA CGM, Evergreen Line, China Ocean Shipping Company and Hapag-Lloyd) and inland (truck-rail-river) transport corridors. These corridors include distance between selected Mediterranean ports (Koper, Rijeka, Bar, Thessaloniki, Constanta) and Serbia. As a result, in this paper is considered a mathematical model that provides a comparative analysis of transportation costs on the different routes. It is observed already existing transport routes and it is also given hypothetical review to the development of new transport routes. The main goal of this research is to provide an optimal route with lowest transportation cost during container transport. Selection of the best route in the intermodal network is a very difficult and complex task. The costs in all modes of transport and the quality of their services are not constant parameters and changes depending on a number of conditions and characteristics. The analysis of this model within combined maritime and land-based networks would prove helpful for the study of logistics chains, the hinterland-foreland continuum, intermodal transport systems, and market competitiveness.

The sectoral structure of the Northern sea transport corridor is defined, the set of the transport tasks provided to them - the international transit, import and export operations, internal transportations is considered. It is shown that in relation to the water area of the sector of the Northern Sea Route both the international, and internal transportations (big cabotage and intersectoral transportations) can be referred to transit. The analysis of transit transportations across the Northern Sea Route between the countries in 2010-2018 is carried out, dynamics and commodity structure of transit is defined. Dynamics of transit transportations of main types of freights is considered: bulk freights (oil products, gas condensate), bulk cargoes (iron ore, coal). The analysis of dynamics of in-Russian transit transportations across the Northern Sea Route is carried out; dynamics of transportations of frozen fish which transportation the possibility of creation of the year-round container line between the ports of Petropavlovsk Kamchatsky, Murmansk, Arkhangelsk and St. Petersburg contacts is separately considered. Results of development of transit transportations in 2010-2018 are generalized and the factors defining demand of transit transportations of different types of freights are defined. Assessment of prospects of development of transit freight traffic by foreign shipping companies (Maersk) is given. The conclusion is drawn that a priority of development of navigation in the sector of the Northern Sea Route is providing national investment projects - transportations of mineral resources and ensuring activity of mining companies. At the same time, creation of a steady system of transportation of the Arctic mineral resources defines problems of development of icebreaking, navigation and hydrometeorological providing that will lead to reduction of risk of the Arctic navigation and will increase appeal of the sea Arctic transport system in general. It is defined that emergency conditions for development of navigation in the water area of the Northern Sea Route are: expansion of group of the domestic Arctic linear icebreaker fleet; central planning of sea freight transportation and coordination of actions of participants which could increase appeal of use of the Northern Sea Route including for transit transportations.

abstractIn 1964, Block 29/7 was awarded as part of the first licencing round to Shell and Esso (UK). The Curlew area comprises a series of terraces that step down from the Western Platform into the West Central Graben. Exploration drilling started in 1977 but it wasn't until 1990 that well 29/7-4 successfully tested a 100 ft column of undersaturated volatile oil in the Upper Jurassic Fulmar Formation sandstones. Further exploration drillng, aided by 3D seismic data (acquired in 1991), yielded additional discoveries: Curlew C (1993, oil) and Curlew D (1994, condensate-rich gas). In Curlew D new technologies were succesfully applied to described and evaluate the isolated hanging wall compartment. Oil was discovered in what is now called Curlew D South in February 2000.Hydrocarbon accumulations in the Curlew area occur in dip-closed faulted anticlinal structures. The producing Upper Jurassic Fulmar Formation is a heterogeneous mix of bioturbated shallow marine sandstones. barrier sandstones, and lagoonal/swamp deposits. The range in reservoir quality is reflected in the field porosity (5-27%) and permeability (0.001-800 mD). Reservoir compartments in the field (curlew B, D, and D South) are controlled by complex reservoir architecture, structure and fault geometry. Each reservoir compartment is characterized by a different fluid contact and a distinct fluid type. The reservoir heterogencity provieds potential for bypassed hydrocarbons in undrilled compartments, as was proven by the Curlew D South development.Curlew B, D, and D South have since been developed. Evacuation of hydrocarbons from the Curlew area is via the Maersk Curlew FPSO, to which the producing wells have been tied back. Gas is fed nto the Fulmar Gas Line and oil is taken onshore by shuttle tankers. The initially-in-place volume in Curlew B at standard conditions is 24 MMSTB of oil and 25 BSCF of solution gas. Curlew B was developed via horizontal well 29/7-10y and came on stream in November 1997 at a rate of about 23 000 STB/D. The initially-in-place volume in Curlew D is 340 BSCF of gas and 100 MMSTB of condensate. Curlew D was developed via two vertical wells, 29/7-8z and 29/7-9, and started production in February 1998 with production rates up to 115 MMSCF/D of gas and 34 000 STB/D. Gas production from the field is constrained. however, by the facilities. Curlew D South is developed by the vertical well 29/7-11 which came on stream in March 2000 after a North Sea record-time tie back of the original appraisal well.

El objetivo que se logró en la presente investigación consistió en determinar la relación que existe entre cultura organizacional y calidad de servicio en el sector de transporte marítimo en la empresa Maersk Line Perú, en el distrito de Lima, en el año 2018. El tipo de investigación fue de enfoque cuantitativo y a un nivel correlacional; cuyo diseño fue descriptivo -correlacional no experimental, y transeccional. La técnica utilizada fue la encuesta, y el instrumento de recolección de datos fue el cuestionario estructurado, la población muestral censal estuvo conformada por 50 trabajadores y se realizó la operacionalización de variables y se consignaron los aspectos éticos de la investigación. Los resultados son: el 50% de encuestados optaron por la posición neutral en la variable cultura organizacional, el 52% decidieron por la posición neutral en la cultura burocrática, el 54% decidieron por la posición neutral en la cultura de clan, el 54% opinaron positivamente por la cultura emprendedora, el 56% afirmaron optar por posición neutral en la cultura de mercado, el 54% opinaron por la posición neutral en la calidad del servicio, el 68% decidieron por el nivel neutral referente a la capacidad del personal, el 62% indicaron por la posición neutral referente a la cortesía y amabilidad, el 66% adoptaron la posición neutral en relación a la credibilidad. Conclusión: Queda determinada la relación que existe entre cultura organizacional y calidad de servicio en el sector transporte marítimo en la empresa Maersk Line Perú, en el distrito de Lima, en el año 2018. Dado que el valor de Chi Cuadrado=118,965 con un grado de libertad gl. =4 y un p=0,001; porque se ha verificado que existe evidencia suficiente para concluir que existe relación significativa entre las variables cultura organizacional y calidad de servicio en la empresa Maersk Line Perú (Chi cuadrado, ***p = 0,001). También según la prueba de correlación de Spearman = 0.300 (***p = 0,034), se concluye que existe correlación directa y significativa entre las variables.
The objective that was achieved in the following investigation consisted in determine the relationship that exists between organizational culture and quality of service in the maritime transport sector in the company Maersk Line Peru, in the district of Lima, in 2018. The type of research was of quantitative approach and correlational level; whose design was descriptive-correlational, not experimental, and transversal. The technique used was the survey, and the data collection instrument was a structured questionnaire, the census sample population consisted of 50 workers; the variables were operationalized and the ethical aspects of the research were consigned. Results: 50% of respondents opted for the neutral position in the organizational culture variable, 52% decided for the neutral position in the bureaucratic culture, 54% decided for the neutral position in the clan culture, 54% thought positively for the entrepreneurial culture, 56% said they opted for a neutral position in the market culture, 54% said they had a neutral position on the quality of service, 68% decided on the neutral level regarding staff capacity, 62% % indicated by the neutral position regarding the courtesy and kindness, 66% adopted the neutral position in relation to the credibility. Conclusion: It is determinate that there is a relationship between organizational culture and quality of service in the maritime transport sector in Maersk Line Peru, in the district of Lima, in 2018. Since the value of Chi-squared test = 18,965 with a degree of freedom gl. = 4 and one p = 0.001; because it has been verified there is sufficient evidence to conclude that there is a significant relationship between the variables organizational culture and quality of service in Maersk Line Peru, 2018. (Chi-squared, *** p = 0.001). Also, according to the Spearman correlation test = 0.300 (*** p = 0.034), it is concluded that there is a direct and significant correlation between the variables.

The diploma thesis describes seaborne transport of goods in general, and furthermore specifies the current dilemma of existing cartels - conferences - in this industry. I also describe containerization, general situation on container transport market with a hint of latest information about this market. Next chapter describes legislative rules of European Union that shape import of goods to Union. As it was not possible to describe all of them, I concentrate only on those rules involving import of containers. The goal of researching EU import legislation was to familiriaze myself with all activities and information, which an importer must take care of and possess, before he gets in touch with a shipping carrier about the transport itself. I managed to mention the most basic and important points, which importers of goods must apply.

One of the basic problems in measurements of the electrical properties of materials is finding relations between measured electrical values and characteristics of the material, especially when the field distribution in the device under test with a sample inside is complex. Commercial electromagnetic simulation software was used in unconventional way to calculate materials' electrical properties. Because the software is not adopted for this task, built-in optimisation option was used. In this way dielectric and magnetic properties of materials in very complex shape were calculated. The method was tested by calculation of complex dielectric permittivity of Bi1.5ZnNb1.5O7-xF2 pyrochlore ceramics as well as by calculation of both complex dielectric permittivity and complex dielectric permeability of carbon-coated capsules of Ni embedded into polyurethane matrix from experimental results. Due to the fact that using numerical methods is time consuming, a mathematical model on mode matching approach of rectangular rod in a waveguide and a new model of multimode capacitor were developed. Models were checked by numerical methods. On a high frequency, when electric field in the sample is inhomogeneous, the magnetic field in the sample is much stronger than in the transmission line. Facing the new women s role at family, work, knowledge production and society, the woman today have a horizon of possibilities in front of her, which catch myths and traditional values. The archaic and modern life styles living together in an imagination of a generation that supported on the conquest coming from the women s rights movements reach to equilibrate the sense of maternity with other personals interests. Under a systemic perspective, this work proportioned understanding the experience of women s personal realization, witch is comprehended by maternity and career, in a vitality acquisition phase. The experience of the participants, women are among 23 and 35 years old, in married situation or living together with their partners, showed through qualitative methods that maternity is a part of a personal realization project, that embrace ambitions and personal plans. This way, the maternity is delayed and takes a second moment of life, to happen after stability and secure conquest on their professional career and satisfaction in relationships. The values and inheritance coming from the origin families are connected with choices and life projects, making possible to see how the traditional gender and post-modern questions influence the maternity plans, sometimes in peace, sometimes in conflict. The maternity appears like a big decision, which needs planning, because it mixture important moments: the moment that the woman can live the conquest of space on public spheres and the moment that she can reveal hers spaces in the private spheres. Frente às novas configurações e atuações do feminino na família, no mercado de trabalho, na produção de conhecimento e na sociedade, abre-se à mulher um horizonte de possibilidades, que carregam consigo mitos e valores tradicionais. O arcaico e o moderno convivem no imaginário de uma geração, que apoiada nas conquistas dos movimentos em prol da emancipação da mulher, busca conciliar a maternidade com outros interesses pessoais. Sob uma perspectiva sistêmica, este trabalho propôs-se, então, a compreender a experiência de mulheres Itajubenses em fase de aquisição do ciclo vital, no que tange a realização pessoal, que abraça as esferas da maternidade e da carreira. A experiência das participantes, mulheres entre 23 e 35 anos, casadas ou em coabitação com seus parceiros, abordada por meio de métodos qualitativos evidenciou que a maternidade faz parte de um projeto de realização pessoal, que também engloba ambições e planos pessoais. Deste modo, a maternidade se encontra postergada para um segundo momento de suas vidas conjugais, após a conquista de uma estabilidade e segurança na carreira profissional e satisfação marital. As heranças e valores recebidos das famílias de origem mostraram-se fortemente relacionados com as escolhas de projetos de vida, sendo então possível visualizar como questões de gênero tradicionais e pós-modernas convivem, ora pacificamente, ora em conflito, no planejamento da maternidade. Liner shipping has always been the catalyst of world trade. Prior to the economic crisis, the industry was able to maintain steady growth. The arrival of this major event created an economic chaos worldwide, and the industry’s profitability took a big hit, suffering from the greatest loss in the history of containerization. The resulted liquidity crisis and problem of asset overvaluation created a negative impact on world trade, thereby widening the supply and demand gap. This research attempts to provide an in-depth analysis on the external and internal environment of container shipping industry, with a case study on a major player in the industry. The PEST analysis performed in the research shows that economic, social and technological factors are critical to the profitability of the industry, and as analyzed by Five Force Model, the industry is driven by intense rivalry due to price competition, overcapacity, and high bargaining power of buyers. Through Resourced-Based View and SWOT analysis, this research emphasizes the importance of investing in business activities that yield high ROIC and ROE and adopting related diversification, strategic alliance, and corporate restructuring to counter the losses suffered from core container shipping business. While continuously implementing cost-cutting measures, carriers should explore global markets with high level of export, such as China, and other in-land/secondary ports with high volume potential.

To evaluate the medication safety of chemotherapy drugs at a tertiary care hospital, with complete reporting of prescription errors, classifying prescription errors, complete detailing of watched medication administration errors (MAEs) by nurses, ordering watched MAEs, and figuring improvement methodologies. Likewise, in relation to side effects, how to overcome side effects, which antiemetic treatments to use, how to survey the appropriateness of requesting and apportioning. An imminent, observational, non-interventional contemplate study was driven at the Oncology Department, Baptist Hospital, Bangalore for half a year. All the data was collected from patient medical records according to case record structure. An aggregate of 70 patients tolerating chemotherapy were observed for information on a sort of side effects, prescription missteps and other relevant information like demographic findings, treatments, and drugs used to manage the adverse effects (AEs) collected from the patient’s medical records. The data was characterized reliant on various parameters. The watched side effects according to different organ frameworks were orchestrated and appeared differently in relation to the distributed writing and bundle embeds. Among the 70 patients, 22 (31.4%) were males and 48 (68.57%) were females. Moreover, the age interval within these two groups was of 20–65. From the 70 patients, the number of chemotherapy cycles was of one for 14 (20%) patients, two for 16 (22.85%), three for 16 (22.85%), four for 5 (7.14%), five for 6 (8.57%), six for 9 (12.85%), and more than six for 4 (5.71%) patients, mostly due to maintenance chemotherapy. The evaluation of our information uncovered that the cancer with the most elevated predominance was breast cancer (24.28%), pursued by blood and bone marrow cancer (5.71%) in females, whereas in males were blood and bone marrow (4.28%), followed by lung cancer (2.85%), non-Hodgkin lymphoma (2.85%), and colon cancer (2.85%). The present study demonstrated that in both gender groups, the most influenced organ framework was gastro intestinal tract (GIT), trailed by skin and subcutaneous tissue, musculoskeletal, blood and nervous system. The most prescribed antiemetic drug was ondansetron (81.42%), and the normally endorsed chemotherapy agents in our setting were shown to be cisplatin (21.42%), carboplatin (17.14%), and paclitaxel (14.28%). The total percentage of errors on the 70 prescriptions was 24.28. Most of the errors were due to drug–drug interactions (10%). The total percentage of errors in drug administration performed by nurses was found to be 11.42%, out of which in 2.85% of the cases, it was used the wrong drug dose. The adverse impacts related with the usage of anticancer medication were surveyed for half a year. The AEs most commonly experienced suggest that for all intents and purposes, all the patients accepting cytotoxic drugs suffered at least one AE. Over the last decade, e-commerce has significantly changed the traditional forms of interaction among humans in conducting business by automating business processes over the Internet. Early seller Web sites consisted of passive text-based catalogs of products that could be manually browsed by potential customers. Online passive catalogs were soon replaced by dynamically updated catalogs containing detailed product descriptions using combinations of text and images that could be searched in various formats and according to different search criteria. E-commerce techniques used by sellers for operations such as price setting, negotiation, and payment have matured from manual off-line processing of sales data to automated algorithms that dynamically determine prices and profits for sellers. Modern e-commerce processes for trading goods between buyers and sellers can be divided into five stages: search, valuation, negotiation, payment, and delivery. Depending on the type of market in which the goods are traded, some of the above stages are more important than others. There are three principal market models that are used for online trading. The most common market model used by online sellers for trading goods over the Internet is the posted-price market model. The other two market models, the auction model (Sandholm, Suri, Gilpin, & Levine, 2002) and the marketplace model (Chavez & Maes, 1996), are used for markets in which niche or specialty items with sporadic or uncertain demand are traded. In the posted-price market model, a seller announces the price of a product on its Web site. Buyers visiting the seller’s Web site request a quote from the seller. The seller responds with a quote in response to the buyers’ requests, and the buyers examine the seller’s quote to make a purchase decision. Unlike auctions and market places, products traded in posted-price markets are no-niche items and exhibit continuous demand over time. The Web site of online book merchant Amazon (http://www.amazon.com) is an example of a posted-price market. A buyer interested in a particular book enters the necessary information through a form on Amazon’s Web site to request the price of the book and receives the price in response. Modern seller Web sites employ automated techniques for the different stages of e-commerce. Intermediaries called intelligent agents are used to automate trading processes by implementing different algorithms for selling products. For example, Web sites such as MySimon (http://www. mysimon.com) and PriceGrabber (http://www. pricegrabber.com) automate the search stage by employing the services of intelligent agents called shopbots. Shopbots enable buyers to make an informed purchase decision by comparing the prices and other attributes of products from thousands of online sellers. Automated price comparison by buyers has resulted in increased competition among sellers. Sellers have responded to this challenge by using intelligent agents called pricebots that dynamically determine the price of a product in response to varying market conditions and buyers’ preferences. Intelligent agents are also used to enable other e-commerce processes, such as supply-chain management and automated negotiation. In this article, we focus on the different algorithms that sellers’ pricebots can use for the dynamic pricing of goods in posted-price markets.

McDermott Middle East, Inc. executed the Maersk Oil Qatar Project in 2009, Offshore Qatar. The project involved the installation of one of the heaviest lifts in the region — the 3283 MT BD Module. The deciding factor for the offshore installation methodology was the restriction on the lift capacity of the derrick barge. The execution strategy, therefore, involved utilizing two derrick barges, a semi-submersible and a mono hull barge, in tandem for the lift operation (Dual Lift). This paper discusses the engineering studies and the simulation model for a Dual Lift with insight into the technical complexities and the analytical strategy used for the study. On site adherence to the engineering analyses was achieved by a system of pre-installed motion sensors and instruments capable of delivering real time data of the key parameters required for the lift. The engineering and operations experience presented in this paper covers the Dual Lift operation with focusing on two main engineering aspects, the engineered lift study of BD Module and the multi-body mooring analysis compromising six floating bodies connected together by means of lashing and/or mooring lines.

The present paper first gives a brief outline of the simplified and generic approach to reliability and risk based inspection planning and thereafter sets focus on a recent application of the methodology for planning of in-service NDT inspections of the fixed offshore steel jacket structures in the DUC concession area in the Danish part of the North-Sea. The platforms are operated by Maersk Oil and Gas on behalf of DUC partners A.P. Mo̸ller, Shell and Texaco. The study includes a sensitivity analysis performed for the identification of relevant generic parameters such as the bending to membrane stress ratio, the design fatigue life and the material thickness. Based on the results of the sensitivity analysis a significant number of inspection plans were computed for fixed generic parameters (pre-defined generic plans) and a data-base named iPlan was developed from which inspection plans may be obtained by interpolation between the pre-defined generic plans. The iPlan data-base facilitates the straightforward production of large numbers of inspection plans for structural details subject to fatigue deterioration.
