”Min magiska värld” är en textil installation avsedd att fungera som en sagohörna i ett bibliotek för barn i förskoleåldern. Med utgångspunkt i 3 mönster skapas en fantasivärld som möter barn på bibliotek. Mönstrade ylletyger har tillverkats för att sedan filtas och placeras i rummet. Meningen med mönstren är att skapa en känsla av skog, harmoni och delaktighet i rummet.
”Min magiska värld” is a textile installation with the intent purpose of creating a story time escape for pre-schoolers. Thus, acts as a re-presentment of a creative approach towards the childpractical décor of a library. With an outset of three textile patterns, the textile installation seeks to create an illusion of “ fantasy meets reality “ in the visual aspect of an enchanting grove. The fabric in knitted wool have been designed, fabricated and felted to be placed within the selected area. The layout of the patterns bears the essence of creating an increased notion of participation as well as to instil an impression of the kind of harmony that could be sensed in the forest.

Abstract:
We chose to perform a case study in Sweden. The study focuses on how a region with special conditions work to achieve its vision and goals by using marketing strategies for brands. We chose to investigate the island Gotland, which is distinguishes itself from other regions in Sweden because it is an island. The purpose of the stud is to investigate the extent of brand identity Gotland entails with their vision and objective until 2025. We examine how the region´s development programs develop through a document study that contains both steering documents and follow-up reports. The second method we have chosen for the empirical work is conducting interviews with two large Gotlandic businesses and an external consultant. The main results show the factors that underlie the region´s change process is the desire to attract capital. That is- more residents and companies in front of tourists. And the follow-up reports show the region has not fulfilled their goals. Our theoretical frame of reference consists of theories about brands, site marketing, change processes, and change leadership.

Veidrodis interjerui suteikia žaismingumo, gyvybingumo. Kintant veidrodžio aplinkai kartu kinta ir jo išvaizda. Kūrinys sukurtas, siekiant parodyti, kad meno kūrinys gali keistis. Dažniausiai darbai keičiasi kintant laikui, dėvintis medžiagai, laiko paveiktai konstrukcijai. Šis kūrinys visada keičiasi, kai kinta jo aplinka. Veidrodis darbe naudotas kaip medžiaga, sugerianti ir atspindinti aplinką. Veidrodis magiškas, dėl savo savybių priverčiantis pasitempti, nusišypsoti, sukeliantis kitas įvairias emocijas, kas paveikia žmogų vienokia ar kitokia linkme, turi kažką magiško, paslaptingo. Kubas yra pastovus, statiškas, tad jo forma pakeičiau, suteikiau kitokią formą, nei įprasta kubui. Pakitusi forma suardo kubo pastovumą. Įvedus veidrodį, jis įgauna gyvybę, kitimo, magiškų savybių, iš statiško virsta į dinamišką. Prepared theoretical work designed and carried out the creative composition “Cube magic”. The purpose of the work was to create a spatial composition using a mirror. The mirror gives a playful and viability for the interior. When the mirror environment is changing, also change its appearance. The work is designed to show that a work of art can vary. Frequently changing work shifts time, wearing the material affected by the construction time. This work is always changing, when its environment is changing. The mirror was used as a material absorbing and reflecting the environment in this work. The mirror is the magic, of his character gets the toes, smile, causing a range of other emotions, which affects a person one or another direction, which has something magical, mysterious. The cube is a constant and static, so I changed its shape in a different format than the usual cube. Destroy the abnormal form of a cube provide a stability. The introduction of the mirror he gets life, change, magical properties, it become dynamic from static. Abstract:

Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka och synliggöra hur förskollärare använder sig av barnlitteratur i förskolan. Den visar på vilka sätt förskollärare arbetar med barnlitteratur och hur lässtunder planeras samt vilken roll barnlitteraturen har i förskolan och vilken betydelse det kan ha för barns utveckling, fokuserat på den språkliga utvecklingen. I den empiriska metoddelen har semistrukturerade intervjuer tillämpats. Intervjuerna har gjorts på sex olika förskolor i olika kommuner och informanterna är verksamma förskollärare. Analysen visar att det finns ett intresse för barnböcker på samtliga förskolor och att barnlitteratur används i varierad mängd. Förskollärarnas medvetenhet, reflektion och planering av lässtunder är i de flesta fall bristfälliga. Det finns ett fåtal förskollärare som medvetet visar barn att barnlitteratur är av stor betydelse och de försöker bevara läslusten hos barnen.

Stureplan i Stockholm har sedan länge betraktats som en symbol för Sveriges rika och berömda. Under senare tid har ett antal samarbeten mellan klädföretag och Stureplans aktörer uppmärksammats i media. Dessa företag har medvetet försökt associera sig till Stureplan som ett led i sin marknadsföring och för att bygga sina varumärken. Den här uppsatsen studerar hur klädföretag utnyttjar Stureplans icke-traditionella marknadsföringskanaler samt anledningarna därtill. Uppsatsens empiriska underlag härrör i första hand från fyra djupintervjuer med personer som i kraft av sina positioner inom klädföretag, kommunikationsbyråer eller restaurangbranschen har god insyn i den marknadsföring som bedrivs via Stureplan. Teoretisk förståelse för fenomenet skapas genom en översiktlig redogörelse för olika teorier rörande marknadsföringskanaler, varumärken och konsumtion. I den avslutande analysdelen jämförs detta teoretiska underlag med empirin, varigenom konstateras att klädföretag betraktar Stureplan som en marknadsföringskanal vars genomslagskraft möjliggör att initiera trender och nå ut till en bred massa. Företagens metoder är i hög grad osynliga för målgruppen och inkluderar huvudsakligen utdelning av gratisplagg till personer med särskilda attribut och med en hög grad av exponering i Stureplansmiljön eller i media. Internetsajter med Stureplansanknytning spelar en nyckelroll i sammanhanget. Uppsatsen påvisar sammanfattningsvis att Stureplan som marknadsföringskanal är att betrakta som slagkraftig, kostnadseffektiv och förhållandevis riskfri, men samtidigt begränsad till ett fåtal företag och branscher i fråga om lämplighet och räckvidd.

SammandragVår uppfattning är att barns spontana lekfulla musikutforskande i sin ljudliga form inte alltid får utrymme och gehör hos oss vuxna. För att utveckla mer kunskap om detta vill vi i en institutionell kontext studera och analysera processen från barns utforskande och spontana musikproducerande till en produkt som kan reproduceras genom musikvideoskapande. Studiens bärande stolpar är inspirationskällor, aktörskap samt möjliggörande. Under arbetets gång har vi sett olika inspirationskällor som kunnat påverka barnen i deras skapande process av en musikvideo. Vi har huvudsakligen utgått från Bjørkvolds (2005) teori om spontansång när vi analyserat barnens musikskapande. För att synliggöra barnens, musikens och rummets/materialets aktörskap i den skapande processen har vi analyserat vår empiri ur ett aktörsperspektiv (Holmberg, 2014). Då vi ville observera barns förhållningssätt till spontant kreativt musikskapande valde vi att utföra en interventionsstudie med kvalitativ ansats där vi varit deltagande observatörer. Detta val gav oss möjlighet att utforska musikdidaktiska alternativ till förskolans mer traditionella musikverksamhet som i många fall består av vuxenstyrda sångsamlingar. Vi valde i vår studie att ha ett icke-linjärt förhållningssätt, vilket innebar att vi inte på förhand planerade processen utan istället gav barnen möjlighet till egna initiativ. Vi följde barnens impulser och lät dem skapa fritt.Under projektets gång växte tankarna fram att tid, pedagogers engagemang samt rummet och dess material påverkar och styr barns möjlighet att spontant kunna utforska och kreativt producera musik i en institutionell kontext. Vid genomförande av musikprojektet upplevde vi att barnens lust och förmåga att utforska och experimentera var påfallande stor. Studien visar att det finns ett behov hos barn i förskolan att få möjlighet att kreativt utforska och producera egen musik i en inspirerande miljö och i en för dem meningsfull kontext. Resumo: A presente dissertação de mestrado dedica-se a verificar como o romance de Thomas Mann A montanha mágica poderia filiar-se ao gênero literário do Bildungsroman. Sua introdução é um breve comentário sobre o estabelecimento do gênero literário do Bildungsroman enquanto tal, seguido de um excurso, igualmente breve, aos temas que ocupavam Thomas Mann aquando da redação deste seu romance, mediante a identificação de temas centrais das Betrachtungen eines Unpolitischen (Considerações de um apolítico). Feito isto, parte-se ao trabalho propriamente dito de pôr A montanha mágica ao lado do romance de Goethe Anos de aprendizado de Wilhelm Meister, paradigma do gênero em causa, para investigar o proveito em lê-Io como Bildungsroman. A própria questão sobre o que seria efetivamente um Bildungsroman desperta polêmica até os dias atuais. Discutir A montanha mágica na qualidade de Bildungsromanimplica,pois - sempretacitamente-, em voltar à pergunta sobre o que teria feito dos Anos de aprendizado de Wilhelm Meister o primeiro romance de uma série que constituiu tradição dentro da literatura de língua alemã. Mas esta pergunta não é apresentada como tal no corpo do texto, pois o que se pretendeu foi cingir-se a aproximar ambos os romances e esclarecer como este expediente é eficaz para compreendê-Ios. Seja como for, espera-se que mesmo a investigação do gênero tomada em si mesma sempre possa aproveitar-se das diversas incursões que se têm feito ao longo do tempo àquelas obras a ele imputadas
Zusammenfassung: In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird der Frage nachgegangen, inwieweit Thomas Manns Roman Der Zauberberg der literarischen Gattung des Bildungsromans zugeordnet werden kann. Die Einleitung der Arbeit besteht aus einem Kurzkommentar über die Entstehung der literarischen Gattung des Bildungsromans; dem folgt, indem die zentralen Themen aus Betrachtungen eines Unpolitischen bestimmt werden, ein Exkurs über die Themen, die Thomas Mann zur Zeit der Niederschrift des Romans beschãftigten. Im Hauptteil der Arbeit wird Der Zauberberg dem Roman von Goethe Wilhelm Meisters Lehrjahre - dem Paradigma der Gattung - zur Seite gestellt, und es wird untersucht, ob Thomas Manns Buch in produktiver Weise aIs Bildungsroman gelesen werden kann. Die Frage, was eigentlich ein Bildungsroman sei, ist auch in heutiger Zeit noch umstritten. Eine Betrachtung Des Zauberbergs aIs Bildungsroman impliziert aIso immer auch - wenngleich unausgesprochen - eine Rückbetrachtung der Gründe, die Wilhelm Meisters Lehrjahre zum ersten Roman einer Gattung werden lieBen, die sich dann - aus heutiger Sicht - aIs Tradition in der deutschsprachigen Literatur etabliert hat. Dieser Fragestellung wird jedoch im HauptteiI der Arbeit nicht nachgegangen, da dieser sich darauf beschrãnkt, beide Romane gegenüberzustellen, um dadurch aufzuklãren, ob dieser Weg geeignet ist, sie zu verstehen. Resumo: Este estudo tem como ponto de partida o referencial teórico formulado por Coudry (1986/88) para a área de Neurolingüística que articula a dimensão histórica, intersubjetiva e psíquica da linguagem em função de questões teóricas e metodológicas que repercutem na prática clínica, especialmente no que se refere à relação entre teoria e dado. Trata-se de um trabalho de caráter clínico tanto pela investigação que se propõe a desenvolver quanto pela descrição de procedimentos e práticas com e sobre a linguagem usados no acompanhamento longitudinal de um sujeito de 30 anos do sexo masculino (AL), que apresenta um quadro de Síndrome Frontal leve em virtude de um traumatismo craniano que acometeu bilateralmente os lobos frontais e o lobo parietal alto à direita. No estudo clínico são considerados os múltiplos fatores pré e pós-episódio neurológico que explicam a heterogeneidade do quadro semiológico de AL: a suposta dislexia diagnosticada na 7ª série do ensino fundamental, o histórico de alcoolismo, o traumatismo crânio-encefálico, a síndrome frontal e as fabulações. Os sintomas que decorrem do quadro se manifestam de maneira discreta o que implica lidar com a estreita relação entre normal/patológico e com a instabilidade que lhe é característica. O sujeito foi acompanhado longitudinalmente entre abril de 2003 e outubro de 2004 no Laboratório de Neurolingüística (LABONE) do Instituto de Estudos da Linguagem (IEL) da Unicamp, para onde foi encaminhado para avaliação neurolingüística em fevereiro de 2002 com queixa de dificuldade de aprendizagem e de leitura e com queixa pessoal de memória. Por meio de achados e indícios que se apresentam em meio à situação clínica - que tem como fio condutor a escrita na Agenda Mágica como lugar de reconstrução da relação do sujeito com a escrita e com a sua subjetividade ¿ são estudadas as relações entre linguagem, memória, corpo e percepção, a partir da articulação das formulações de Freud sobre o funcionamento neurofisiológico do aparelho psíquico, os estudos de Jakobson a respeito do funcionamento bipolar da linguagem e as formulações de Luria sobre a organização sistêmica e hierarquizada das funções cerebrais
Abstract: This study has, as starting point, the theoretic referential formulated by Coudry (1986/88) for the area of Neurolinguistics that articulates the historical, inter-subjective and psychic dimension of the language in function of theoretical and methodological questions that re-echo in the practical clinic, especially to the relation between theory and data. It is a work of clinical character such as the inquiry proposed to be developed, as the description of procedures and practices with and about the language used in the longitudinal accompaniment of 30 years old man (AL) that presents a Frontal Syndrome picture due to a brain damage that affected his frontal lobes bilaterally and his parental upright lobe. In the clinical study multiple neurological prior and after episode factors are considered that explain the heterogeneity of AL¿s picture: the supposed dyslexia diagnosis on the seventh grade of basic school, the history of alcoholism, the traumatic brain injury, the frontal syndrome and the fantastical narratives. The symptoms related to the picture reveal in a discrete way what implies dealing with the narrow relation between normal/pathological and with its characteristic instability. The individual was followed longitudinally from April 2003 to October 2004 at the Neurolinguistic Laboratory (LABONE) of Unicamp¿s Institute of Language Studies (IEL), to where he was guided for neurolinguistic evaluation in February 2002, with complaints of difficulty on learning and reading and personal memory complaint. Based on findings and clues present in the clinical situation - that has as conducting wire the writing in the Magical Agenda as a place of reconstruction of the relation between the individual to the writing and its subjectivity - are studied the relations between language, memory, body and perception, from the joint of Freud¿s formularizations about neurophysiological psychic device, Jakobson¿s studies regarding the bipolar functioning of the language and the Luria¿s formulations on the systemic and hierarchically cerebral functions organization

This study explores a specific way of thinking about history and its use: the idea of history as magistra vitae. It aims to uncover the previously underexplored influence that an emulative understanding of ancient history had in shaping the work of certain key modem political thinkers. Its specific focus is, however, narrower: the lessons from history centred on the individual, and only those: examples which further greatness. For authors adopting such an idea of history, the emulation of great examples from the past is taken as the key to the conduct of one's own life and, more importantly, as indispensable for men who lead a vita activa. The main interest of this work is turned towards the view of history as an inducement for action: as a stimulus to strive for a vita activa of great political accomplishments, providing the reader also with a lesson about how to achieve them.

Abstract:
The aim of this thesis was to examine how role players experiences libraries and if the libraries are or can be an arena for activities that involves role play. A public library exists for everyone, but could nevertheless be viewed as a female sphere where women both borrow more books and visit the libraries program activities to a larger extent, compared to men. I asked the question whether men’s reason for choosing a different venue for information and culture was related to the libraries not being able to satisfy their needs. The theory of the thesis was Dorte Skot-Hansen, Casper Rasmussen Hvenegaard and Henrik Jochumsens model that states that the libraries can have four different functions and act as a venue for meetings, knowledge, inspiration and experiences. The chosen method was semi-structured interviews. I interviewed six male role players in order to study how they perceive the function of today’s public libraries and aimed to find out how the libraries could improve to meet the needs of the role players. The result shows that the four functions currently do not function particularly well according to the target group. The role players had, however, both needs and desires regarding future activities at libraries. The conclusion is that libraries could change both what literature and cultural activities they offer. If the libraries change this according to the needs of the target group they would be an attractive place for this male target group.

O objetivo do presente mestrado é examinar as relações entre escrita da história e oratória na obra de Marco Túlio Cícero, considerando, sobretudo, as reflexões acerca da historiografia grega e romana arcaica, que foram tecidas nos seus tratados retóricos e filosóficos, com base na terminologia própria da doutrina retórica ciceroniana, presente nessas mesmas obras. Assim, mostra-se indispensável, primeiramente, acentuar o uso dessa terminologia retórica para a compreensão dos ajuizamentos de Cícero acerca da relevância do estudo da história e da historiografia em Roma, para somente então, com base na apreensão preliminar do aparato conceitual e metodológico empregado pelo filósofo, examinar de que forma ele concebia a história e a prática historiográfica romana. A partir da análise de trechos das obras de Cícero, especialmente, De Inventione, De Oratore, Ad Familiares V, 12, De Legibus, De Re Publica, Brutus e De Officiis, poder-se-á precisar quão ligadas estão história e oratória no pensamento ciceroniano, estabelecendo-se, ao fim do percurso investigativo, o esboço da concepção ciceroniana da história.
Through deep analysis of the textual context within which Cícero have woven his opinions about the knowledge and writing of historia, specially those focused on by Cicero in De Inventione, De Oratore, Ad Familiares V, 12, De Legibus, De Re Publica, Brutus and De Officiis, in which the rhetorical terminology and philosophical treatment appear as a pre-condition to the range of the meaning of his words about historia, we aim to sketch the outlines of his conception of history both as a matter of knowledge necessary to the orator and as a function of the vir dicendi peritus.

Resumo: Os componentes voláteis de três cultivares de manga (Haden, Tommy Atkins e Keitt) procedentes do Estado de São Paulo foram isolados por enriquecimento dos vapores do "headspace" em Porapak Q e separados por cromatografia gasosa de alta resolução. Foram detectados 52 componentes voláteis da Haden e da Tommy Atkins e 32 da cultivar Keitt. Alguns componentes voláteis foram identificados por cromatografia gasosa-espectometria de massa; os hidrocarbonetos monoterpênicos dominaram a amostra. Car-3-eno foi o componente majoritário das cultivares Haden e Keitt (85%), enquanto a Tommy Atkins mostrou maior abundância relativa de dois componentes, car-3-eno (60%) e ?-pineno (25%). Abstract: The volatiles components of three mango cultivars (Haden, Tommy Atkins and Keitt), from the State of São Paulo, were isolated by headspace vapor enrichment on Poparak Q and separated by high resolution gas chromatography. Fifty-two components were detected in the cultivar Haden and Tommy Atkins and 32 in the cultivar Keitt. Some volatiles were identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry; the monoterpeme hydrocarbons predominated. Car-3-eno was the major component of the cultivars Haden and Keitt (85%), while the Tommy Atkins mango exhibited greater relative abundance of two constituents, car-3-eno (60%) and ?-pineno (25%). The present dissertation starts from the evidence that the Brazilian social and economic system is aberrant for not including in the nation's global project the negro with his own different culture and values, this being corroborated by laws and development plans, present and past. It goes on to consider some features of Tia Ciata School, which is inserted in the public school system of the municipality of Rio de Janeiro and aims at teaching teenagers and young adults between the ages of 12 to 20, who had been rejected by the regular school, how to read and ,write and at giving them through those basic skills the necessary conditions to have a profession in a literate society. While relating that experience a new dimension took shape, unconceivable at first and related to the historical origin of those who are Invincible to the established school system because they are impossible to 'educate' and 'civilize'. To try to understand the Invincibles and the significance and the magic the streets have for them means researching the propositions and the projects of the ruling class for that clientele, aiming at 'ordering the disorder'. Finally, having characterized as well as possible the Invincibles using as subjects Tia Ciata School's pupils, it tries to describe the Imaginary School and the one that now has become real, its basic innovations, its way of approaching the students it intends to educate, and its possibility of intervening in the public school system by showing a way to change for better the present educational situation.
Esta dissertação de mestrado parte da constatação de que o sistema econômico social brasileiro. Apresenta uma anomalia ao propor, em leis e planos de desenvolvimento, a não inclusão do negro; com sua cultura e valores diferenciados, no projeto global de nação. Pretende, a partir daí, refletir sobre alguns pontos da Escola Tia Ciata, uma escola da rede do município do Rio de Janeiro, que objetiva basicamente alfabetizar adolescentes e jovens adultos, entre 12 e 20 anos, rejeitados pela escola regular, dando-lhe condições de se profissionalizar numa sociedade letrada, ao aprender a ler, escrever e contar. Por outro lado, ao discorrer sobre a experiência, tomou vulto uma dimensão inimaginável a priori e que se refere à origem histórica daqueles que são Invencíveis para o sistema escolar instituído e que por isso não conseguem ser 'educados' e 'civilizados'. Procurar entender os Invencíveis, o significado e a magia que a 'rua' tem para eles, significa pesquisar as propostas e projetos das classes dirigentes, para essa clientela, visando 'ordenar a desordem'. Por fim, diante da caracterização possível desses Invencíveis, tomando como base os alunos da Escola Tia Ciata, tenta-se descrever a Escola Imaginária e a que se tornou real, hoje. Quais as suas inovações básicas, sua forma de abordar o aluno que se pretende educar e a possibilidade de intervenção na rede pública escolar, de modo a abrir a perspectiva de transformação do quadro educacional atual.

The objective of this work is to understand the relation among violence, magic and technic, taking as a starting-point an hypothesis by René Girard about the real function of sacrificial mechanism as a form that society has to defend itself. Our research also seeks to trace new ways to comprehend the studied phenomena. Violence is approached since its ontological fundament till the core of its menace to social cohesion; we searched also the options human groups dispose to keep it under acceptable parameters. The institution of sacrifice in societies where there is not a sufficiently established penal system, as it presents to colective fury a comum target, personates a chance to avoid an endless cicle of vengeances, with catastrophical consequences. Even rites of passage and, especially, of cure refer to scapegoat mechanism. Magic, so, is taken in this work as an inexhaustive source of cathartical rites, that expurgate group from its intrinsic agressiveness, potentially disaggregative, reinforcing thus solidarity. Modern technic, on the other side, most of cases, instead of helping on violence deflection, has been instigating us to take it as an instrument, transforming it on a mere social engineering tool. However, violence did not just prove, once and again, being uncontrolable, but even it manipulated repeatedly the ones who tried to manipulate it. Modernity, whether through national States or their rival actors, is full of exemples. We opted to exemplify the principles of this dissertation through an analysis of the period in russian history known as Red Terror , when millions of human deaths were directly provoked by government actions. In the end, we present a possibility to control violence in modern societies.
O objetivo desse trabalho é compreender a relação existente entre violência, magia e técnica, a partir de uma hipótese apontada por René Girard sobre a real função do mecanismo sacrificial para a defesa da sociedade. Nosso estudo busca também traçar novos caminhos de compreensão para os fenômenos pesquisados. A violência é abordada desde seu fundamento ontológico até o cerne de sua ameaça à coesão social. Pesquisamos as opções de que os grupos humanos dispõem para contê-la sob parâmetros aceitáveis. A instituição do sacrifício em sociedades sem sistema penal suficientemente estabelecido, ao apresentar um alvo comum para a fúria coletiva, representa uma chance de evitar um ciclo infindável de vinganças, de consequências catastróficas. Mesmo os ritos de passagem e, principalmente, os de cura remetem ao mecanismo do bode expiatório. A magia, assim, é tomada nesse trabalho como inesgotável manancial de ritos catárticos, que expurgam o grupo de sua agressividade intrínseca, potencialmente desagregadora, reforçando com isso a solidariedade. A técnica moderna, por outro lado, na maioria dos casos, em vez de servir como auxílio no desvio da violência, tem nos instigado a instrumentalizá-la, transformando-a em mera ferramenta de engenharia social. Contudo, a violência provou mais de uma vez ser não só incontrolável, mas até mesmo manipular os que tentavam manipulá-la. A modernidade, seja através dos Estados nacionais ou de atores rivais do poder estatal, está repleta de exemplos. Optamos por exemplificar os princípios dessa dissertação através de uma análise do período da história russa conhecido como Terror Vermelho , em que milhões de mortes humanas foram provocadas diretamente por ações governamentais. Ao fim, apresentamos uma possibilidade de controle da violência em sociedades modernas.

A magia matemática pode ser usada em contexto de sala de aula para atrair a curiosidade dos alunos. Diversos truques, aparentemente mágicos, apoiam-se em resultados, padrões ou propriedades matemáticas muito curiosas. Alguns estão relacionados com o cálculo de probabilidades e são excelentes exemplos de aplicação de conceitos simples, como o cálculo de probabilidades utilizando a Lei de Laplace ou a probabilidade condicionada. Pretende-se, neste trabalho, estudar um conjunto de truques de magia matemática que têm por base questões de probabilidades. A título de exemplo podemos referir o “Truque de Kruskal”, truques com “Dados não transitivos” ou truques baseados no “Paradoxo de Monty Hall”.
Mathematical Magic can be used in the context of the classroom to attract the curiosity of students. Several tricks, seemingly magical, rely on mathematical results, patterns or properties, which can be very curious. Some are related with probability and are excellent examples of the application of simple concepts such as probability calculation using the “Law of Laplace” and conditional probability. The aim of this work is to study a set of magic tricks that are based on mathematical probability questions. These include the "Kruskal Trick", some tricks with “Not Transitive Dice” and tricks based on the "Monty Hall Paradox".

Mostraremos como é possível, sem qualquer baralho especial e sem truques “na manga”, realizar efeitos cartomágicos. Para tal, bastará ter na cartola alguns conhecimentos de Matemática. Como professores, será possível, com a realização de alguns truques aqui apresentados, não só maravilhar os alunos, mas também desenvolver a sua curiosidade científica fazendo apelo ao seu pensamento matemático. Tentaremos demonstrar que o que nos parece muitas vezes impossível ou ilusório é afinal possível e real, e tudo isto, apenas com a magia da Matemática.
This dissertation will dive into the world of illusion, namely the world of card manipulation. We will show how it is possible to produce magical card manipulation effects, without any special pack of cards nor "up the sleeve tricks". To do so, it will only be necessary to have some mathematical knowledge in the top hat. By presenting some tricks here depicted, teachers, will, not only marvel the students, but also develop their scientific curiosity, appealing to their mathematical thinking. We will try to demonstrate that what often seems impossible or illusory is, after all, possible and real, and made up of Mathematical magic.

This dissertation aims to be a collection of some mathematic tricks that can be used in math classes to motivate the students. They can also be used, for fun, in social gatherings with people of different ages and backgrounds. They will certainly be surprised. The tricks presented here are not illusory in any way. They simply result of the application of mathematical knowledge and numerical properties, explained at the end of each trick.

La présente étude se consacre à examiner les attitudes de Rabelais vis-à-vis de la magie. Sous l’angle biographique il est connu que notre humaniste ne manque pas d’occasions de se familiariser avec ce courant de pensée. Ses connaissances de l’occultisme se reflètent profondément dans son oeuvre. L’ironie de Rabelais face à la magie, qui existe certes dans son texte, n’est pourtant pas totale, vu qu’il puise son inspiration sincère dans le réservoir magique. Le sujet de la magie chez Rabelais, constituant une problématique complexe, attire souvent l’attention des critiques, mais fait rarement l’objet d’études sérieuses malgré son importance. En prenant comme fil conducteur le manuel de magie à grand succès, De occulta philosophia, d’Henri-Corneille Agrippa von Nettesheim, notre thèse tente d’éclaircir ce que Rabelais doit à des humanistes versés dans la magie, tels que Marsile Ficin ou Coelius Rhodiginus. Suivant la classification d’Agrippa, notre analyse textuelle porte successivement sur la magie céleste, la magie naturelle et la magie cérémonielle, ainsi que la magie démonique. En s’inspirant de saint Augustin et de Ficin, Rabelais distingue la magie blanche de type nécessaire, studieux et scientifique de la magie noire de caractère vain, curieux et ostentatoire. Mais en même temps, la stratégie littéraire de Rabelais laisse en suspens des choix possibles et variés pour expliquer les phénomènes admirables en parsemant son texte d’indices fabuleux pour inciter le lecteur à plus haut sens.a mon avis, Rabelais subit leur influence de façon plus profonde qu'on ne le dit, et puise son inspiration dans la lecture de leurs livres. l'hermétisme étant à la fois une pensée philosophique, religieuse, chimique et syncrétique, mon sujet nous permet de réexaminer globalement des problèmes variés concernant Rabelais. tout cela contribuera à l'interprétation de l'œuvre de Rabelais
The present study aims to examine Rabelais’s attitudes towards magic. From a biographical point of view, it is known that our humanist did not lack opportunities to familiarise himself with this current of thought. And hisknowledge of occultism is profoundly reflected in his works. Although Rabelais can be seen to treat the topic of magic with a degree of irony, he nonetheless appears to draw sincere inspiration from magical works and texts. While magic in Rabelais’s works, and its resultant complexities, have always attracted the attention of critics, its use and significance have not been sufficiently investigated in previous studies. Led by clues found in the bestsellingmanual of magic, De occulta philosophia by Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa von Nettesheim, this study attempts to clarify the influence on Rabelais of humanists well-versed in the art of magic, such as Marsilio Ficinoor Coelius Rhodiginus. Employing Agrippa’s classification taxonomy, our textual analysis deals successively with celestial magic, natural magic and ceremonial magic, as well as demonic magic. Analysis reveals that Rabelais, inspired by Saint Augustine and Ficino, distinguishes white magic of necessary, studious, and scientific type from black magic of vain, curious, and ostentatious character. The literary strategy of Rabelais, however, leaves open a number of possible method of elucidating admirable phenomena, scattering the text with fabulous indices in order to invite readers to interpret them in a higher sense

Cette étude a pour but de montrer le rôle et l’importance que pouvaient avoir les différentes formes de magie et de divination dans le monde mésobyzantin du premier iconoclasme à la quatrième croisade de 1204. Elle s’articule autour de deux grands thèmes de recherches complémentaires mais qui proposent toutefois une lecture différente des sources faisant état de ces pratiques à Byzance. Une lecture objective des sources normatives et narratives, complétée par des témoignages archéologiques, nous permet de considérer la place qu’occupaient la magie bénéfique, la magie maléfique et la divination dans la vie quotidienne des Byzantins, et cela en fonction de leurs besoins : popularité des phylactères et des soins magiques, services indécents et immoraux que la magie maléfique proposait, goût prononcé des Byzantins pour un vaste ensemble de divinations. Le deuxième axe de recherche met en exergue l’utilisation de la figure du magicien ou du devin dans des discours de propagande politico-religieuse, aussi bien dans la littérature hagiographique que dans les œuvres historiographiques. La réflexion se concentre d’abord sur le rôle alloué aux sorciers et aux devins dans le travail d’écriture des hagiographes, puis, d’un point de vue plus général, sur la diabolisation dont furent victimes différents hérésiarques qui étaient jugés un peu trop populaires. Enfin ces mêmes mécanismes ont été mis en évidence avec une attention toute particulière à propos de la question de l’iconoclasme, depuis l’histoire officielle iconodoule où les patriarches et empereurs hétérodoxes, victimes d’une violente damnatio memoriae, concentraient sur eux les accusations de sorcellerie
This study aims at showing the role and the importance of different kinds of magical and divinatory arts in the middle Byzantine era, from the first iconoclasm up to 1204. It focuses on two main approaches, based on two different readings of the literary evidence.First, using the evidence of normative and narrative sources, along with archaeological artefacts, this work shows the importance, in response to specific needs, of beneficent and maleficent magic and divinatory arts in the everyday life of the Byzantines. The popularity of phylacteries and magical treatments is examined along with the conflicted nature of the relationship which existed between these practices and Byzantine orthodoxy. The different forms of maleficent magic are then explored and the services that they alone could offer. This section concludes with a discussion of Byzantines’ fascination for a great number of unorthodox divinatory arts which, in spite of their illicit nature, continued to be practiced.Second, this study emphasises the role of magicians and soothsayers in the political and religious propaganda. An attempt is first made to demonstrate how some hagiographers employed these useful opponents of saints as tools in their writings. Then, this work seeks to show how some heresiarchs, perhaps deemed too popular, were demonized, in an attempt to put an end to disruptive religious movements. The purpose of this paper is partly to examine properties of ra- tional polyhedral cones and their generating bases, known as Hilbert Bases, and how these can be used to construct the semi-magic squares that Benjamin Franklin designed in the 18th century that have enter- tained mathematicians ever since. Furthermore, the question of how to find Hilbert Bases for pointed polyhedral cones is approached and an algorithm for this is introduced.

Abstract:
Purpose: This study focuses on describing and explaining Djinn, Iblis and magic from an Islamic point of view. There are many stories that can be told but the author focuses on the parts of the stories that is known to the majority of Muslims. One of the many interesting aspects studied in the essay is how people in Babylon, in contrast to today's Muslims, view Islam's interpretation of magic and Djinn.  In order to present these perspectives and their change over time, a number of Muslims are interviewed of various religious backgrounds, liberal, conservative and orthodox. In addition, various studies are used that describe the social structure in Babylon where witchcraft according to Islam was first taught. The information from these works is intertwined with Carl Gustav Jung's and Marie-Louise von Franz's book Man and his Symbols (1964). These studies, together with the interview results, provide the opportunity to compile logical conclusions.  Method: The first two questions are about explaining what Djinn is based on the general Islamic interpretation and who Iblis are. In order to be able to present this information in the results section, the author starts from the qualitative method, intertextuality, which is about texts always being based on previous writings.  The second sub-result focuses on describing what Sihr (Magic) is from an Islamic perspective. It also describes how these rituals are performed. For this, a multimodal method is used to analyze the book Shams al-maarif al-Kubra.  The third sub-result focuses on an analysis of various interviews conducted to create an understanding of how Muslims view Djinn and Sihr. The answers to these are then related to the perception of this in ancient Babylon. A conversation analysis is performed to analyze the interviews.  Theory: In this study, the result is intertwined with the theory (Socialization). Social construction includes human reality. A society is created through interaction between individuals. This is called externalization. The natural character that is then added to a society takes place through objectification. Individuals who apply to the specific society may then accept and integrate with the independent character of society, which at this stage, has been normalized and assumed to be natural.  Result: The result of this study is threefold. According to Islam, Djinn are invisible spirits that God created from poisonous, smokeless fire. Iblis, also known as Lucifer or Satan, is part of the Djinn kin. According to the story, he refused to bow down to Adam, challenged God and thus plays an important role in man's cosmic destiny. According to Islam, magic is rituals performed to make contact with evil Djinn who in turn performs various services for the magician. The services are not provided free of charge. Magicians must perform certain rituals which, according to Islamic tradition, are extremely serious sins. The book Shams al-Maarif al-Kubra teaches readers how to perform certain rituals and draw magical symbols. The third result focuses on compiling data from the interviews conducted that are presented under appendices. Religion was of paramount importance to the Babylonians and formed a large part of their daily lives. In comparison with today's Muslims, it can be stated that they find it more difficult to live by the idea that there are constantly invisible beings and forces around them.

Abstract:
The aim of the study is to examine a book used as level-based teaching material, Den magiska kulan (Wänblad, 2011), to analyse the progression within and between the different levels, A, B and C, intended for use in grade 1. The material is designed so that pupils at different levels in their reading development can share the same literature. Another aim is to study the connection between illustrations and text. This literature study is based on both a qualitative and a quantitative method of analysis. The qualitative method applies a readability analysis with the focus on the graphic form and the language of the text. The quantitative method measures the LIX (readability index) of the texts. The result of the study shows that all the levels are suitable for grade 1 since their degree of difficulty is adapted and they have a smooth progression, as well as illustrations which are closely linked to the text. Although these readers are made for this grade, it is important that teachers scrutinize the material used in teaching.

Este trabalho se propõe como um breve tratado sobre as relações entre os discursos vigentes da arte contemporânea e o pensamento mágico ocidental. No cruzamento entre o ensaio poético, a antropologia da arte, a estética e a bruxaria, desenha-se um círculo no qual se desenvolve a pesquisa sob o signo da \"besta\" acadêmica: a interdisciplinaridade. A partir disso, estudam-se uma série de projetos curatoriais recentes que lidam com magia, ocultismo, xamanismo ou animismo, prestando atenção aos preconceitos que se manifestam em alguns desses discursos curatoriais. Entretece-se esta reflexão com referências históricas que servem de marco explicativo para a queda em desgraça do pensamento mágico ocidental e, junto com ele, do status da imaginação e da imagem como formas de conhecimento. Uma vez definida a situação em que ficou esta tradição depois de sucessivas campanhas de desprestígio, introduzem- -se uma série de figuras que serviram depois à construção de uma nova (mas talvez sobretudo velha) teoria mágico-estética. Seguindo a esteira de pensadores contemporâneos ligados ao realismo especulativo e à ontologia objetual, o trabalho se reconecta com uma esquecida tradição mágico-estética (ocidental) não isenta de uma dimensão mítica e animista (ou vitalista, se se prefere). Faz-se questão de colocar a \"palavra do artista\" no mesmo nível que a \"palavra do filósofo\", mas evitando converter os artistas citados em objeto de pesquisa. O trabalho defende que existam - apesar dos séculos em que a elite intelectual ocidental vem predicando contra a possibilidade de uma ontologia mágico-estética - indíviduos e coletivos que desenvolvem sua atividade à margem dos preconceitos dicotômicos que hoje alguns pensadores acadêmicos de vanguarda se empenham, não sem dificuldades, em transcender. Nesse sentido, o trabalho argumenta que muitos artistas eram já materialistas vibrantes e realistas especulativos antes da valorização, em voga hoje, dessas correntes filosóficas.
This work intends to be a brief treatise on the relations between contemporary art and western magical thinking. At the crossroads between poetic essay, anthropology of art, aesthetics and witchcraft, a circle is drawn under the sign of the academic \"beast\": interdisciplinarity. From this point of departure, we study a series of recent curatorial projects that deal with magic, occultism, shamanism or animism, paying close attention to the prejudices that surface in some of these curatorial discourses. This reflection is intertwined with historical references that serve as an explanatory framework for the fall of western magical thinking and, along with it, the loss of status of both imagination and image as respected sources of knowledge. After having defined the state of neglect this (magical) tradition was left in after successive smear campaigns, we introduce a series of figures that will serve to construct a new (but perhaps rather ancient) magical-aesthetic theory. Following the trail of contemporary thinkers linked to speculative realism and object-oriented ontology, the work reconnects with a forgotten magical-aesthetic (western) tradition with a mythical and animistic (or vitalist, if you prefer) dimension. We also emphasize the importance of put-ting the \"artist\'s word\" on the same level as the \"philosopher\'s word\", whilst at the same time carefully avoiding to turn the cited artists into an object of study. We claim that - in spite of the centuries in which the Western intellectual elite has been preaching against the possibility of a magical-aesthetic ontology - there are individuals and groups that are active in the margins of the dichotomous prejudices that today some avant-garde academic thinkers are trying to transcend with much difficulty. In this sense, the work argues that many artists were already vibrant materialists and speculative realists much before the new on-to-materialistic philosophical currents which are very much in vogue nowadays.

In that sense, the artistic career of his work was followed by later modernists who sought to portray Brazil's country side, and innovated in language and literary approach. Addressing the contrasts issues of Brazilian reality and the cultural diversity of Minas Gerais, the writer provided a deepened inquiry into the regional themes while created a new artistic form, in the way he addresses the culture in innovative treatment of language through the linguistic regionalisms and neologisms. Cette étude consiste à définir la création de l'artiste magicien comme un objet de droit et à chercher à la doter d'un régime spécifique dédié à sa protection. Le tour de magie doit son existence à la préservation de son secret. Or ce dernier est aujourd'hui menacé par les révélations qui en sont faites contre le gré du magicien. L'enjeu du travail entrepris réside dans la qualification juridique du tour et du numéro de magie, du processus intellectuel qui y conduit, et de la révélation du secret, entendue comme une atteinte spécifique - car immatérielle - portée au travail du magicien. A cette fin, les mécanismes classiques du droit d'auteur vont pouvoir être détournés de leur fonction habituelle pour embrasser la spécificité d'une oeuvre de l'esprit qui ne ressemble à aucune autre en raison de la dualité aspect apparent / aspect dissimulé qui la sous-tend. Au-delà de la recherche des sources legislatives adéquates, l'étude détaille l'ensemble des relations contractuelles qui se nouent autour de l'exploitation de l'oeuvre de magie ; elle montre aussi les difficultés qui naissent de ces rapports et la façon d'y remédier pour garantir à l'auteur magicien une meilleure défense de ses droits
This thesis consists in defining the magician's creation as a legal object and seeking to equip it with a specific scheme to protect it. The magic trick owes its existence to the safeguarding of secrecy. Yet, today, such a secret is threatened by exposure against the magician' s will. This study situates the legal qualification of the magic trick and the magic act, the intellectual process that leads to it and the exposure of the secret understood to be a specific breach - since an immaterial breach- affecting the creative work of the magician. For that purpose, the classic copyright mechanisms must be used in a specific way in order to fit the particularities of a work of the mind that doesn't resemble any other due to the visible and invisible duality which underlies it. Beyond the research of the appopriate legislative sources, the study details the contractual relations which exist with regards to the exploitation of the "magic creative work" ; it also shows the difficulties that spring from such relations and how problems can be resolved in order to insure a better protection of the rights of the "author magician"

This thesis investigates the communicative role of scenography in the performing arts for children, with an aim to make the readers understand the ways in which a set design can be optimized so that a young audience can be able to interpret the play and its message. The art of scenography is complex and includes many elements. The research questions can therefore be grouped into three clusters: one artistic oriented (How does the scenographic process work and what is its relation to the scenic piece at large? In which ways may scenography be used to support the desiderate interpretation?), one audience oriented (Which work processes enhances the chances of creating dramatic art that is perceived as meaningful to the audience? On what premises can the semiotics of theatre be used in the performing arts for a young audience?) and last a cluster that focuses on Den magiska cirkeln (The Magic Circle) by ung scen/öst (What is told in the show and how is this portrayed in the scenography? Who is in the target group, and does the audience get the feeling of the performance as intended?). Den magiska cirkeln is used as a case study in the thesis in order to reflect the theoretical material. Methods in the case study includes performance analysis, a survey completed by 178 people in the audience and an interview with scenographer Anna Dolata. 14 performing analyzes of Swedish children’s theatre shows have been made in addition to the case study. The thesis analyses and compares two work logics; the internal logic and the external logic, and it is shown that meaningful interpretations are likelier to happen with an external logical point of view. But the result is not unequivocal; a performance without any internal logic is likely to fall flat as the performance needs to be extracted from the creators’ full conviction. As shown in the thesis, scenography can be used to amplify the readings and intents with usage of the semiotics of theatre. It is important not to overlook the great potential of scenography in order to enhance the experience. The thesis also shows that the intentions that ung scen/öst had with Den magiska cirkeln went past many in the audience. Many felt that the show was confusing, and expressed frustration at not having solved the performance’s message. A high level of knowledge about the audience, and a willingness to listen and absorb its opinions, increases the chances of creating meaningful performances. I denna uppsats studeras scenografi inom scenkonst för barn och unga. Syftet är att utreda vilken roll scenografin har för förmedlingen av det som berättas för publiken. Detta syftar i sin tur till att läsarna av denna uppsats ska förstå på vilka sätt en scenografi kan utformas på bästa sätt för att en ung publik ska kunna ta till sig föreställningen och dess budskap. Scenografi är en komplex konstart som innehåller många moment. För att uppnå syftet ställs frågeställningar som kan indelas i tre kluster; ett konstnärligt, scenografiskt orienterat (Hur ser den scenografiska arbetsprocessen ut och i vilken relation står den till det stora allkonstverket? Hur kan scenografi användas för att stödja och förstärka det som önskas förmedlas på scenen?), ett publikorienterat (Vilka arbetsmetoder ökar chansen för att skapa scenkonst som upplevs som meningsskapande av mottagaren? På vilka sätt kan teatersemiotiska överenskommelser användas i scenkonst för en ung publik?) och ett kluster som fokuserar på ung scen/östs föreställning Den magiska cirkeln (Vad berättas i föreställningen Den magiska cirkeln, och hur gestaltas detta i scenografin? Vem/vilka berättas det för, och får publiken den känsla av föreställningen som avsändaren har avsett?). Den magiska cirkeln används som fallstudie i uppsatsen med syfte att reflektera det teoretiska materialet mot ett verkligt studieobjekt. I fallstudien ingår föreställningsanalyser, en enkätundersökning med 178 personer i publiken samt en intervju med scenografen Anna Dolata. Förutom fallstudien har även föreställningsanalyser gjorts av 14 föreställningar som visats på Sveriges barnteaterscener 2012-2013. I uppsatsen analyseras och jämförs internlogisk arbetsmetod med externlogisk, och den visar att chansen för meningsskapande upplevelser hos publiken är större med externlogiska referenspunkter. Men det är inte helt svart eller vitt; utan internlogiska drag riskerar föreställningen att falla platt, eftersom det är viktigt att föreställningen utvinns ur upphovsmakarnas fulla övertygelse. Denna uppsats visar att scenografi kan användas för att förstärka bakomliggande läsart och intentioner med hjälp av teaterns semiotiska teckenvärld. Det är viktigt att inte förbise scenografins stora potential för att förstärka visuell och kroppslig erfarenhet av alla de teman som upphovsmakarna önskar förmedla. Uppsatsen visar även att ung scen/östs intentioner med Den magiska cirkeln gick många åskådare förbi. Flera ansåg att föreställningen var förvirrande, och uttryckte frustration över att inte ha knäckt föreställningens budskap. En hög kännedom om sin publik, samt en vilja att lyssna och ta till sig av dess åsikter, ökar chanserna för att skapa meningsfulla gestaltningar.
