Abstract:
It is often believedthe Sanskrit language declined during the reign of Muslim kings or sultans because they did not give it adequate attention. There have occasionally been published research findings that support this notion as well as others that are opposed to it or deny it. Sultan Mahmud Shah I of Gujarat is the subject of numerous contradictory accounts in historical records. Some claims and arguments regarding him are refuted by recent studies. One of the most significant factors that have been taken into account is the fact that he was not only a lover of Sanskrit literature and language, but also a patron of the language. In his court, a Sanskrit poet had the title of Malek-ush-Sho’ara (Poet Laureate), and his seminal work in Sanskrit Rajvinod Mahakavyam recounts the history of the Gujarati sultans with particular attention to Mahmud. With the splendor of the sociopolitical facets of Mahmud Shah I’s rule, the poet has masterfully woven the entirety of his age’s history into this artistic tapestry. This poem is a good choice to use as a representative illustration of the patronage of Sanskrit by Muslim rulers. This epic depicts the popularity of the Sultan among his subjects in addition to incorporating Arabic and Persian terms into Sanskrit with beauty and expertise. Its study also explains that Sultan Mahmud Shah I was highly respected and treated with dignity in all spheres of society, according to its study.

Each journal strives to establish a unique position for itself in academic circles, an inherently challenging endeavor, and the first volume of every scientific journal is the most arduous and challenging at the outset. After nine years of continuous efforts, the Sulaimani Dental Journal (Sulaimani Dent J) has built a reputation as an outstanding outlet for high-quality publications in the field of dentistry and dentistry-related scientific disciplines in the Kurdistan region and Iraq. Almost a decade has passed since we embarked on this endeavor, which required a group of audacious and ambitious academics and researchers from the College of Dentistry at the University of Sulaimani to establish, organize, and manage a new scientific journal dedicated exclusively to dentistry and scientific research in dentistry-related specialties, of which there were very few presents in the country and the region altogether. The journal started as a biannual publication and continued this trend until the end of 2022, when it was clear to the editorial board members that the time had come to increase the publication cycle as the number of submitted manuscripts increased due to the established reputation of the Sulaimani Dental Journal among academics in the country and even abroad. This issue (Volume 10, Issue 3) marks an important milestone: completing the tenth year of the journal and the first year to publish three issues. Abstract:
The Islamic nation has tried to understand the Book of Allah Almighty and know its meanings since the dawn of the true religion. The first to interpret this great book was our Prophet Muhammad himself (May God bless him and grant him peace). Indian subcontinent is very fertile in this discipline. Among the major contributors is Sheikh Abdul Hayy -al-Faruqi. Al-Faruqi, was one of scholars in Quranic Sciences who became famous in the scientific circles and adhered to the Sheikh of India Mahmood al-Hassan al-Deobandi and extracted from the knowledge of his approach, and among the most prominent students of Sheikh Ubaidullah Sindhi and Sheikh Abu al-Kalam Azad. Sheikh Abd al-Hayy al-Faruqi authored different voluminous and short books in the field of Quranic sciences. But his best contribution is the book; “Tafsīr-al- Qurān fi Marif –al-Qurān.” This commentary on Quran has some distinguishing features and distinctive aspects in the art of interpreting the Qur’an following the principles established by Shah Wali Allah in his book “al-fawz al-Kabir fi Usul al-Tafsir”. In this article, the attempts will be made to search his scientific and balanced approach used in his given Quranic exegesis and to explore to what extend he succeeded.

Abstract:
Occupied with the discourse of legal reformation of the Muslim community since the Shah Bano controversy in 1978, statist narratives of liberating Muslim women from Muslim patriarchy are conspicuous in India. However, Muslim leaders propose internal reforms and expect women to be good mothers. This article analyses the role of traditional <i>ulema</i> in Kerala in shaping the corporeal notions of pious Mappila women. The study also analyses the contestations and multiple discourses among pious young Mappila women toward the <i>ulema</i>’s preaching. The findings of this study are framed through the concept of piety and the embodiment of ethical self by Saba Mahmood and Talal Asad’s notion of Islam as a discursive tradition. Semi-structured interviews, participant observation, digital ethnography with a sample of thirty respondents and secondary sources are the methods used. While the conception of an ethical self and piety among the pious elder Mappila women hinges on the respectful compliance of <i>ulema</i>’s preaching of the qualities of a ‘good <i>Muslimah</i>’, the pious young Mappila women focus on the deliberative aspects of discourses around ‘the good <i>Muslimah</i>’. This has opened up the possibilities of contestation, argumentation, and cross-checking references from the Islamic tradition to pursue a dignified and pious living.

Abstract:
The rehabilitation services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy is an essential part of the healthcare system, which is required to enhance patients' quality of life. These services need a streamlined support system, which is required from the funding sources that significantly impact the efficacy. The accessibility, affordability, and quality of healthcare services are significantly influenced by healthcare finance and its utilization, which involves revenue generation and reimbursement processes to budgetary supervision and allocation of resources. Effective resource allocation is made possible by sound financial management, which minimizes undue usage and maximizes the use of existing resources in underfunded healthcare systems like Pakistan, where there is a greater need for funds for rehabilitation. Despite their value in the budget, rehabilitation services frequently receive a smaller portion of the healthcare budget. There is a need to focus on several funding sources, such as commercial insurance plans, public sector grants, out-of-pocket costs for patients and families, and the functions of foreign aid and charitable donations. The possible ways can be increasing insurance coverage for rehabilitation services, increasing public sector investment and encouraging increased cooperation between public and private sector parties. Ultimately, the healthcare system and the rehabilitative services can be improved for future prevention of disability and evidence-based health policies that maximize available resources and high-quality healthcare. This review offers a thorough analysis of and describes the current state of rehabilitation financing in Pakistan. In addition, it also provides considerable evaluation of barriers and suggested solutions in managing the finances required for running a viable rehabilitation system. Abstract:
It is now more than seven years since I wrote my last editorial as the founder editor of JKCD. Interspersed in this time was a guest editorial or two but just like seven years ago when I wrote with pride and a tinge of sadness, I now write with pride and unbridled joy.JKCD was the brainchild of several people, it would not behove me to claim it’s inception as solely mine and mine alone. There is no letter “I” in the word “TEAM” and a team is what I was lucky to have to transform this novel idea into fruition. Every small step taken by my team was a giant leap for this journal’s recognition and credibility. From the creation of the journal’s website, the issuance of the ISSN number for the hard copy and e-ISSN number, its indexing in various international databases and finally its recognition by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (now Pakistan Medical Commission). All these achievements were built on the backs of people who are now professors, associate dean’s and distinguished faculty members in their own right. People like Prof Dr. Khalid Almas, Prof Dr. Muslim Khan, Dr. Atta ur Rehman Dr.Munizeh Khan, Dr. Fahad Qiam, Dr. Bushra Mehboob, Mr Iftikhar ud Din and Mr Ishfaq Mahmood who did everything they were asked of and then some more. A special mention belongs to Dr. Basheer Rehman who was the workhorse for this journal back then and now ably leads this journal at its finest hour to date. He despite his immeasurable responsibilities, gave his all for the cause of this journal and did everything he was asked of with aplomb and highest order of professionalism. The reason I am mentioning this is because of the saying “The followers will never know how hard the leader tried to make the path” and the work of that team should never be forgotten in the annals of JKCD history. A changing of the guard invariably leads to one of two predetermined outcomes. Either one will soar higher than ever before or glide so uncomfortably low so as to risk crashing into the ground. It is regrettable that with the passage of time, JKCD could not continue evolving and innovating as it had before and had somewhat stood still while newer journals were launched from other institutes and organizations who usurped the place and prestige that JKCD enjoyed. Nevertheless as the old adage goes “The first step in solving a problem is recognizing that there is one”. I am happy to note that the Dean, KCD, Prof Dr. Nasir Shah paid specific attention to the plight of the journal and recruited the right people, such as Mr Farhad Ali among others, who not only steadied the ship but have also steered it to the next evolutionary landmark i.e, the recognition of the journal by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). This achievement would also not be possible without the efforts of the Vice chancellor, Khyber Medical University, Prof Dr. Zia ul Haq who helped Editorial team for achieving their targets in the requisite time. My gratitude extends to Dr. Fahim Ud Din and Mr. Masroor Shah for their treasured support during the hard time of HEC recognition. The title of my editorial written seven years ago was “The passing of the torch”, seven years on and given the recent achievements of JKCD, I can safely say that the torch my team passed on has been taken to heights never scaled before. God speed JKCD and may you keep rising higher than ever before.

Khouzam, Raefa Abou, Nagwa Ahmed Zeinelabdin, Mohak Sharda, et al. "Abstract 5679: Application of a hypoxia metric to investigate tumor mutational burden and cancer cell immunogenicity in vitro." Cancer Research 82, no. 12_Supplement (2022): 5679. http://dx.doi.org/10.1158/1538-7445.am2022-5679.

Abstract:
Abstract Hypoxia afflicts the microenvironment of solid tumors fueling tumor malignancy. Using an 8-gene in vitro hypoxia signature, we have recently shown that pancreatic cancer patients with highly hypoxic tumors experience worse survival and exhibit markers of an immunosuppressed microenvironment. Simultaneously, we obtained evidence of increased mutation count in more hypoxic tumors, which accommodates previous reports associating hypoxia with the regulation of tumor mutational burden (TMB) and genomic instability. These two features could enhance tumor immunogenicity by increasing neoantigen expression, enabling immune recognition and tumor eradication. In this work our aim is to further elucidate the underlying role of hypoxia in generating TMB and genomic instability, and how it contributes to cancer cells immunogenicity. To this end, we applied our recently identified 8-gene hypoxia signature to score the hypoxic response of different cancer cells, considering their median expression levels of the signature genes upon exposure to hypoxia (1% oxygen). The hypoxia score was then applied as a metric to distinguish between the highest and lowest scoring cells, enabling a novel approach for evaluating the intrinsic impact of hypoxia on immunogenicity. After twenty passages under hypoxic conditions (1% oxygen), scored cancer cells were subjected to whole exome sequencing (WES) using the Ion Chef System. Following data processing using appropriate bioinformatic tools, variants were called in the hypoxia-treated cells using their normoxic (21% oxygen) counterparts as controls. We first demonstrated that hypoxia induced an increase in TMB in all cell lines. More interestingly, higher scoring cells were found to display, on average, higher TMB than lower scoring cells, suggesting that cells that have a lower hypoxia score tend to be less mutable. Copy number alterations, mutational signature and neoantigen load predictions generated from the WES data will be discussed. The microarray analysis of transcriptomic data from these hypoxia-treated cells, as well as the relationship between the high TMB, high neoantigen load and increased activation of immune response pathways will also be illustrated. Abstract:
"The crowd has played and continues to play a very important role in Iranian politics at critical moments . This article looks at its role in the mid 20th century, especially during the times of rule of Reza Shah (1925-1941) and Mohammad Mosaddegh (1951-1953). The article reviews European thought about the masses, with special emphasis on the ideas of Bulgaria-born Nobel Laureate in Literature Elias Canetti. Canetti believed that the crowd was not always irrational, evil forces, but sometimes played a positive historical role: when it demanded and enacted social change. It is exactly what happened during the times of Mosaddegh. A look at these times is made through excerpts from the Iranian novel Neighbors by Ahmad Mahmoud, through a look at the press of that time and Ervand Abrahamian’s historical writing. Keywords: masses, Elias Canetti, Mohammad Mosaddeq, protests, neighbors, Ahmad Mahmoud."

The aim of this study was discuss to role of religious tentions in afsharid - ottoman relations. The method of this research is historical in which researchers seek past works and documents to meet the objectives of the research. In historical studies, the researcher should seek to answer the ambiguities by referring to the documents and studying them and analyzing and interpreting them accurately. The results showed documents and correspondences left from this period indicate that Sultan Mahmoud II refused to accept these suggestions despite tendency to settle disputes and accept religious suggestions of Nader Shah due to avoidance of negative reaction of Ottoman scholars and subjects and their opposition to these suggestions and expressed his inability to assume such heavy responsibility in his letter to Nader Shah by mentioning the presence of lawful and reasonable prohibitions and excuses.

Abstract:
This article examines the period of internecine struggle in the Khorezm state after the death of Khorezm Shah Abu’l-Fath Il-Arslan (1156–1172) between his sons — Sultan Shah Mahmud and ‘Ala’ ad-Din Tekish. Despite the fact that this episode from the Anushteginid dynasty is relatively well known to scholars, there has not yet been a single special study of how well this internecine war or the “Khorezmian sedition” was reflected in the synchronous Muslim texts of the 12th century, as well as in the writings of the early 13th century. Most of those who in their works tried to describe the struggle between these brothers for the Khorezm throne were based mainly on Muslim historical writings of the Mongol era. Here we see as our goal to consider the description of the “Khorezm sedition” in the monuments of the pre-Mongol period and compare the amount of information in them about this with the texts of a later time — this will allow not only to understand how detailed the event is described by the early authors in comparison with the later ones, but to identify possible continuity between them. Our research will also allow us to identify gaps in the description of the struggle between Sultan-Shah Mahmud and ‘Ala’ ad-Din Tekish in early texts, emphasize the facts of the “Khorezm sedition” relatively known to the authors of this period and thereby show what kind of picture of events is being built if we focus only on the writings of the pre-Mongol time. As a result, we hope to trace a certain evolution of the description of the war for the Khorezm throne in the Muslim writings of the 12th–13th centuries.

Abstract:

Abstract:
Abstract For more than three decades, the undergraduate textbook Worlds of Music has introduced students to the idea of the music-culture with a story about orchestral tuning up. Stumbling across a version of that story from the late nineteenth century, I embarked on an exploration of the social circulation of this anecdote. Although I did not find a replica of the narrative as it appears in Worlds of Music, I was nonetheless able to discover its links to three European visits made by the shah of Persia Nasir al-Din, as well as a fourth about Giuseppe Donizetti, who was court musician to the Sultan Mahmoud II. Moreover, exploring the circulation of these narratives revealed metadiscursive affordances that lead to an ongoing discussion of tuning up and its place within the European high art tradition.

Abstract:
Abstract Ahmad Shah Abdali-Durrani’s court chronicle, Taʾrīkh-i Aḥmad Shāhī, written by Mahmud bin Ibrahim al-Husaini and completed soon after Ahmad Shah’s death in 1772, provides an eighteenth-century perspective on the criterion for kingship and sovereignty. Unsurprisingly, the only person who fulfills these requirements, according to the historian, is Ahmad Shah. While this is standard practice in most Persianate and Islamic histories about a king, the text deviates from a number of other literary conventions. The historian deemphasizes Ahmad Shah’s genealogy and connection to Sufi saints; instead, he focuses on Ahmad Shah’s inner piety and morality by attributing to him the concept of ilhām (direct revelation from God)—an attribute more generally characteristic of prophets and saints, not kings. The double move of deemphasizing lineage and Sufi connection while privileging personal, God-bestowed attributes is sharpened through comparison: Mughal governors and emperors are depicted by the author as descendants of noble, dynastic genealogies, but govern incompetently because they do not have the clarity of vision and fate of victory on their side, as God has not bestowed them with ilhām.

Abstract:
This article discusses Malay poems, especially as reflected in the syair of the Riau region, which have been classified as history poems. Two syair , Syair Kisah Engku Puteri and Syair Sultan Mahmud di Lingga , which each concern characters from the royal court of Riau—Engku Puteri Raja Hamidah and Sultan Mahmud Muzaffar Shah—will be focused upon. Tales about these two characters also appear in the historiographical text Tuhfat al-Nafis . On the whole, history poems are about events such as wars, travels, deaths and marriages, and concern particular historical figures with the aim that these events are recorded. Using the concept of cultural memory to explore the relationship between history poems and memory, this article shows that the writers of both syair use their individual memories in their works. This is done in order to retain and store a private remembrance, and transforming it to produce a collective remembrance while shaping the public view of a fragment of history not captured in Tuhfat al-Nafis . Keywords: history poems, individual memory, collective memory, cultural memory, Syair Kisah Engku Puteri, Syair Sultan Mahmud di Lingga Abstrak Makalah ini membicarakan kepenyairan Melayu khususnya terhadap syair- syair Riau yang dijeniskan sebagai syair sejarah.

Abstract:
Mangkunegara IV thought, about four types of worship, among others; worship, caution (heart), worshiping the soul, the flavor is a synchronization between fiqh reasoning with sufism. His thoughts on the model of the application of the Shari'a of the Prophet (s), in harmony with the Mahmud Salthut, Shah Waliyullah, Ibn 'Abbad, and al-Kalabadzi, and the naqliah arguments which are used as references. The worldview of Sufism and Fiqh keeps the Qur'an and Hadith as a reference, but there are differences on the priority scale, Sufism is more emphasis on the inner aspect, while the Fiqh are more in the external aspect. At this point, Sufism and Fiqh are often different about the concept of right and wrong, and of course differ in the treatment of people of differing opinions, both within the same religious community, let alone different ones. Keywords: Mangkunegara IV, Worship, Sufism, Fiqh

Abstract:
This paper aims to explore the transformation that took place in the strategy of the Deoband School of thought in its struggle for independence from India. A descriptive role of the Deoband school of thought for the freedom of India was analyzed from its formation till 1947. Failure at the war of 1857, its founders, who were the heirs of Hazrat Shah Waliullah, upheld the spirit of freedom by establishing Darul Uloom Deoband. Deaband School of thought, under the leadership of Maulana Mahmud-ul-Hasan, moved a struggle to overthrow the British by force during the outbreak of the First World War. In the changing situation after the world war, the Deoband School of thought brought about a transformation in its political approach in its struggle for independence. This was the discarding of the violent method and adoption of the peaceful and constitutional struggle for achieving independence and securing the religious rights of the Muslims. The formation of Jamaitul Ulama-i-Islam was basically the beginning of the peaceful and constitutional struggle of Deoabnd. The peaceful and constitutional struggle of JUH in collaboration with the Indian National Congress testifies to the transformation.

English Abstract: The inscriptions engraved on the rocks at Nalanda hold a significant place as they serve as pillars of Nalanda's civilization and culture. The oldest known record discovered at Nalanda is a copper plate belonging to Emperor Samudragupta of the Gupta dynasty, dating back to the 4th century AD. On the other hand, the most recent record is an article engraved on a copper coin of Mahmud-bin-Ibrahim-Shah, the ruler of Jaunpur, dating to the 14th-15th century AD. Among the inscriptions obtained from Nalanda, we find records of notable rulers such as Dharmapala, Devpala, Yashovarmadeva, Purnavarman, Baladitya, and Vipulashreemitra. These inscriptions offer valuable insights into the social and administrative aspects of Nalanda, along with shedding light on its ancient glory and cultural history. The article introduces a reader to a small handwritten album of miniatures in the Persian style (muraqqa‘), most likely originating from Kashgaria (modern XUAR of the PRC) and currently stored in the manuscript fund of the Malek National Library and Museum in Tehran (IRI). The album contains eight miniature portraits of the “Sultans of Kashgar” (i. e., rulers of Mughulistan (Eastern Chaghatay Khanate) and later Daulat-i Mughuliya (Yarkand Khanate)) of the 9th—10th / 15th—16th centuries, including such famous khans as Shir Muhammad Khan, Sultan Mahmud Khan, Sham-i Jahan Khan, and Naqsh Jahan Khan. The portraits are not set in chronological order. One miniature depicts prince Sufi Sultan, the ruler of Kashgar, who, judging by the entry on the first page of the album, is the customer of the manuscript. The authors of the article offer their own attribution of some portraits, where the depicted personality seem not so obvious. The publication of miniatures is accompanied, if possible, by a detailed historical commentary, as well as by the description of the portrait itself, with special attention to the clothes and ammunition of the depicted person.

Abstract:
This research deals with the study of Arabic dialects in the book (Al-Kafi Sharh Al-Hadi) by the author Abdul-Wahhab bin Ibrahim Al-Zanjani, who died (655 AH), and his position on them, and the book (Al-Kafi fi Sharh Al-Hadi), a great book that remained locked in manuscripts until it was edited by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Youssef went on to complete the first part of it and obtained a doctorate with it. Then his son Anas completed the second part and obtained a master’s degree with it. The author of the book has many famous books, and perhaps the most famous of them before this book saw the light were the book (Al-Tasrif AlUzzi) and the book (Al-Hadi), which the author explained. Himself in his book (Al-Kafi fi Sharh Al-Hadi). The research was titled (Arabic dialects in the book (Al-Kafi fi Sharh Al-Hadi) by AbdulWahhab bin Ibrahim Al-Zanjani (655 AH) Selected Examples) to address four main issues related to dialects; The first issue was in which I studied the abnormal dialects in the letters of wrestling that are combined with the word (Anette), and the second issue in which I studied Arabic dialects in built-up adverbs and made the adverb (yesterday) a model for it, and the third issue dealt with Arabic dialects in the passive voice or what some grammarians call the passive voice. The impact of the Arabic dialects on the formulation of the verb that is built for the passive or passive object, especially the irregular verb and the differences in the movements it has when it is built. The fourth issue dealt with the study of the work of (what) and the Arabic dialects contained in it and the differences in its work, especially between the Hijazis and the Tamimis. In my research, I followed the analytical descriptive approach. I presented Zanjani’s text, which mentions the origin of dialects in the issue intended for the lesson. Then I proceeded to investigate the linguistic opinions that were said on this issue, following a sequence based on tracing the sayings of grammarians and linguists from the oldest to the newest, and trying to collect what He collected a number of opinions and balanced them among themselves, then balanced these statements with the opinion of Al-Zanjani mentioned at the beginning of the issue. The study of these issues was supported by various linguistic evidence from sources approved by linguists, such as the Holy Qur’an, and Arabic poetry, to document the occurrence of these dialects in the Arabic heritage, and then to come up with an opinion and a conclusion for each issue. In this study, I relied on the Arab sources that the research had found, which were organized into proven sources, and I made it after the conclusion that summarized the results of the research. I ask God for sincerity in word and deed and to guide us to the right path. He is in charge of that and capable of it

Abstract:
BackgroundThe MSK components of the BILAG and SLEDAI have limited sensitivity, specificity and responsiveness.ObjectivesTo develop a better disease activity tool for MSK lupus. Methods“LAMDA” was derived using data from the multicentre USEFUL study (PMID:33792659); 133 patients with inflammatory MSK pain received intramuscular depomedrone then were assessed for 66/68 SJC/TJC, BILAG-2004, SLEDAI-2K, physician MSK-VAS, inflammatory markers, patient pain and disease-activity-VAS and MSK-ultrasound. Baseline variables were modelled against US using penalized (Lasso) regression. For validation we evaluated: (i) responsiveness at week 6 in USEFUL and (ii) association with quality of life and treatment decision in an independent study (n=100).ResultsLAMDA was a composite of SJC, patient-MSK-pain-VAS, physician-MSK-disease-activity-VAS and ESR ranging from 0 to 26.5. Response effect size was greater for the LAMDA (0.37) than the BILAG-MSK (0.31), SLEDAI-MSK (0.27) and total US score (0.33). With active US at baseline, LAMDA’s effect size was 0.42.In the validation study LAMDA score correlated with better physical function (R = -0.49, p<0.001), pain (R = -0.44, p=0.002) and Burden to Others (R = -0.38, p=0.009). LAMDA was higher when therapy was increased (mean (95% CI) difference 12.9 (5.8, 19.9), p<0.001).ConclusionLAMDA is a continuous disease activity instrument for MSK lupus that is sensitive to imaging-synovitis without swelling, more responsive than other instruments and correlates with quality of life and treatment decision. LAMDA may improve the ability of clinicians to monitor and treat MSK lupus, and determine the efficacy of therapies in clinical trials.AcknowledgementsFunding: Lupus UK and NIHRDisclosure of InterestsKhaled Mahmoud: None declared, Ahmed Zayat: None declared, Md Yuzaiful Md Yusof: None declared, Lee-Suan Teh: None declared, Shah Khan: None declared, Chee-Seng Yee: None declared, David D’Cruz: None declared, Nora Ng: None declared, David Isenberg: None declared, Coziana Ciurtin: None declared, Philip G Conaghan: None declared, Paul Emery: None declared, Christopher John Edwards: None declared, Elizabeth Hensor: None declared, Edward Vital Speakers bureau: GSK, AstraZeneca, Consultant of: GSK, AstraZeneca, Roche, Aurinia, Lilly, ILTOO, Novartis, Grant/research support from: AstraZeneca, Sandoz

Abstract:
Purpose: The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between green knowledge sharing and green human resource management on green service behaviors in banks. Design/Methodology/Approach: Partial least-squares analysis is used to examine the opinions of 102 frontline bank workers in Pakistan. Research Limitations/Implications: Because this study focuses on the attitudes among employees of private commercial banking organizations, its conclusions cannot be generalized to all other service organizations in Pakistan. Practical Implication: This research shows that green human resources management can have an impact on green service behaviors among employees through the dissemination of green information. Originality: Green banking is a new trend that merits more study. Green banking is becoming more recognized as a method that requires bank management to encourage green service behavior among their personnel rather than being an "automatic" procedure. This study expands on previous research on GHRM by examining how it influences green service behavior via the independent role of green knowledge sharing. References Ababneh, O. M. A. (2021). Abstract:
The foreign franchises were - in the beginning - grants granted to foreigners by the strong Sultan as a sign of his generosity, and they continued, in fact, during the rule of the Sultan who granted them only, and their aim was to strengthen economic ties. These franchises can be renewed or canceled whenever a new ruler ascends the throne, by entering into long negotiations, and the Sublime Porte has the right to add or delete clauses specific to the state on which these franchises are presented to. The Ottoman state began granting franchises since the era of its founder Othman (128-1324 AD) when it entered into relations with its neighbors at that time, and commercial franchises were the first form of peaceful relations for the Ottoman state because its relations with the Europeans revolved around a narrow range, and that the number of foreigners in the Ottoman Empire was not large, and because the Ottomans were powerful in the beginning, there were no forces that forced them to remove them except for the free will of the grantor, as indicated by one of the historians, including: “These franchises were at the time, in principle granted, by the Sultans without prior discussions, and voluntarily granted rights and privileges to the subjects of foreign countries that had both trade and friendship relations with the Ottoman Empire. The franchises were granted unilaterally and voluntarily by the Sultan, so foreign countries followed the policy of renewal until 1740, when Sultan Mahmud I (1730-1754), permanently renewed the French franchises. All treaties concluded between the Ottoman Empire and foreign countries included a general article that stated: “Every country benefits from the franchises that will be given by treaty to other countries, in addition to the privileges it obtained by its treaties with the Sublime Porte .” The Treaty of Balta Liman , concluded on August 16, 1838, with Britain, abolished the protection system for national products, by limiting the ability of the Ottoman Empire to impose new taxes, and opened the markets of the Ottoman Empire to foreign merchants, and allowed them freedom of import and trade, which led To the imbalance in the trade balance, after determining the percentage of the customs tariff, which amounted to (3%) of the value of the goods, and this condition is not subject to reciprocity. It also included the condition that the customs tariff cannot be modified without the consent of Britain. The importance of the Balta Liman Treaty was that it not only confirmed the previous privileges, but also abolished the Ottoman monopolies. This was represented in the sixth clause of the treaty, which stipulated: “The Turkish government agrees to the measures stipulated in the treaty, which include all the Ottoman Empire, in the European part of Turkey, as well as in the Asian part, Egypt and all the possessions of the Sublime Porte in Africa, and they are applied to all subjects of the regions The Ottoman Empire, whatever their status, and the Turkish government agrees that no foreign country will refuse its trade under this treaty. Foreign traders took advantage of the lack of customs duties imposed on their imported goods, which was at a rate of (3%), as well as exempting them from the fees imposed on their imported goods within the same country. %), which led to the control of foreign traders over foreign trade, which in turn was reflected in the export of agricultural products on the one hand, which led to an increase in the production of some agricultural crops for the purpose of export at the expense of other crops, and this policy resulted in specialization in agriculture, so the cultivation of some crops was limited In certain areas, depending on the presence of branches of foreign companies, which do not depend on the suitability of the land for cultivation, the cultivation of mulberry trees has spread in Syria, for the purpose of raising silkworms to produce silk that is exported to the factories of Lyon and Marseille in France. The production of raw silk in Syria reached between 1880 -1914), two and a half million kilograms in 1880, increased to (6.1) million kilograms in 1914.

Abstract:
While Shamanism predominantly shaped the spiritual life of the Ancient Türks, Buddhism, as the first religion to spread among them, also exerted a significant influence in later periods. Although Buddhism waned among the ancient Türks and the Kyrgyz, it left traces within the boundaries of Turkestan, eventually fading among the contemporary Kyrgyz. The Buddhist inscriptions discovered in the Tian-Shan region and the beliefs associated with Buddhism in Kyrgyz history have been relatively understudied until recently. The introduction provides a brief history of Buddhism’s expansion into Central Asia. Based on the first-hand sources, its dissemination among the Türk and Uyghur States and the information about the influence of this religion on other communities and the Kyrgyz were examined through comparative research. The first section explores Buddhism’s decline following Islam’s spread in Turkestan, as documented in Dīwān Lughāt al-Turk by Mahmud Kashgari. The second section examines the development of Buddhism in Central Asia and the Junghars’ (Qalmuq) aspirations to conquer Turkestan. In conclusion, this article offers a comparative analysis of written sources concerning Kyrgyz history, tracing the key phases of Buddhism’s influence on Kyrgyz people and Kyrgyzstan. Lastly, the study delves into the etymological origins of terms like “Manas”, “qut”, “chatyr”, “cherik” and “eshtek” suggesting their Sanskrit roots through Buddhism in the culture and spiritual beliefs of Kyrgyz, shedding light on the preservation of ancient beliefs of the Kyrgyz’s.

Abstract:
Abstract Escherichia coli (E. coli) strains carrying the polyketide synthase (pks) island produce the genotoxin colibactin associated with pathogenesis of colorectal cancer (CRC). Colibactin binds directly to DNA, causing alkylating damage leading to double stranded DNA breaks. Colibactin mutagenesis results in mutations in hexameric A-T rich DNA motifs that can be identified by whole genome sequencing (WGS) as mutation signatures SBS28 and SBS88 (SBS-pks). Since WGS is not routinely used clinically, we developed an approach to specifically identify SBS-pks using a clinical targeted exon capture assay, MSK-IMPACT. In an institutional pan-cancer clinical cohort of 78,905 tumors we identified 15,967 samples with &gt; 20 mutations detected by MSK-IMPACT. We identified 150/1,884 samples with microsatellite stable CRC with &gt;10% mutations attributable to SBS-pks. Examining clinicopathologic and genomic features of SBS-pks+ compared to SBS-pks- CRC tumors, we found that SBS-pks+ signatures are significantly enriched in younger age of onset compared to SBS-pks- CRC patients (median age 55 vs median age 59, p= 0.0028). SBS-pks+ CRC exhibit similar driver mutations and tumor mutational burden (TMB) compared to SBS-pks- CRC but are associated with increased fraction of genome altered (FGA). To mechanistically investigate colibactin-associated damage we developed a novel long-term human colon organoid-microbe co-culture model system that takes advantage of reversal of polarity in suspension culture. WGS of human CRC organoids co-cultured for three months with pks+ and delta-pks E. coli NC101 confirmed induction of pks+ specific SBS-pks signatures, validating the model. Leveraging this model and a biobank of normal colon organoids from donors aged &lt;/&gt; 50 years, we are investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying the association of SBS-pks with younger age of onset CRC.
