Abstract:
In this paper on the basis of the funerary inscription of a conductor named Gamicus, which was found in Hagio Pnevma (territorium of the Roman colony of Philippi), are examined the relations between Macedonia, Moesia Inferior and probably Epirus. Gamicus seems to belong to the senatorial family of Pontii; they are attested in the inscriptions from Ulpianum and its region and were even related by marriage with another senatorial family, i.e. the Furii. Both families owed their social position to the mines. Apart from the well known senator Gaius Furius Octavianus and his mother Furia Caecilia, the activity of the domus Furiana is known by the presence of its vilici and servi. Epigraphical testimonies show that the large estates of the Furii as well as the Pontii were situated in the southern part of Ulpianum and in the northwestern part of Scupi. Although the gentilicium Furius is also widespread in the province of Macedonia, of particular interest to our subject, however, seem to be two inscriptions from the territorium of the Roman colony of Philippi. The first one is the epitaph erected by M. Varinius M. l. Celer for himself, his wife Varinia Marita, his daughters Primigenia and Pyralis as well as his son-in-law Furius Alcimus. Τhe second inscription (probably a dedication) lists the military offices of D. Furius Octavius Secundus, originally from Cures Sabinis, as well as the privileges bestowed to him by two colonies, Actia Nicopolis et Ulpia... The identification of Furius Alcimus with an homonymous libertus maternus of Furius Octavianus, referred in a passage of Ulpian, should be excluded. On the other hand, the presence of D. Furius Octavius Secundus in Philippi may nevertheless be connected to the exploitation of mines and quarries of this region. Furthermore, it is possible that he is an ancestor of C. Furius Octavianus and has prepared the requirements for the wealth of the domus Furiana and its adlectio in senatum.

Abstract:
The purpose of this paper was to address the issue of democratic restrictions in Macedonia today, 2017, due to all the media attention of the Macedonian political life. It was also an interesting country to study because of its disputes with its neighbouring country Greece, which blocks Macedonia from entering both the European Union and the Northern Atlantic Treaty Organization, NATO. The study was carried out on the grounds of Roberts Dahl’s seven institutions regarding Polyarchy which are elected officials, free and fair elections, inclusive suffrage, right to run for office, freedom of expression, alternative information and freedom of assembly. The method which was applied to this study was an ideal-type of democracy. The seven institutions of Polyarchy is the nearest a democratic governance one can come, and therefore Polyarchy became the main ideal-type. The seven institutions were later compared with both the Macedonian constitution and how these institutions are applied to daily life in the country. The results showed that the institutions inclusive suffrage and right to run for office were the only ones which met up to Dahl’s definition of those two institutions. Further, the institutions elected officials and freedom of assembly are partly restricted by the state. The institutions freedom of expression and freedom of assembly are the ones which are most restricted in Macedonia. The institution free and fair elections is also since 2016 an institution with restrictions because of the political crisis in recent years. Due to these results, one can conclude that Macedonia does not meet up to the requirements of all seven institutions and one can therefore infer that there are several democratic restrictions in Macedonia in 2017.

Abstract:

This thesis treats the normative power of the European Union and its affect on Macedonia. The main purpose has been to look closer with the use of the application of Ian Manners theory of normative power on the Macedonian case. The focus will be to answer the following questions: Does the European Union act as a normative power in relation to Macedonia, if so, how are these values diffused? Has there been any effect of the spreading of these values? Based on six interviews and the available material of European Union strategies for the Macedonian membership I have attempted to understand to what extent the European Union’s normative power has had an influence in Macedonia. The result of my analysis is confirmation of the European Union as a normative power in Macedonia and the understanding of the methods of application.

Abstract:
Uloga znanja i obrazovanja je primarna za razvoj svih segmenata savremenog društva. Sve naučne discipline imaju svoj značaj, svoje postavljene ciljeve u izgradnji kvalitetnog ljudskog potencijala. U ovom pravcu historija je u odgojno-obrazovnom procesu jako značajna, posebno u multietničkim društvima. Historija kao nastavni predmet kroz sticanje znanja o prošlosti stvara predstavu o svakom pojedincu, predstavu o sebi i predstavu o drugim. Zbog toga se često stavlja u funkciju podizanja nacionalne svijesti, patriotizma te homogenosti države, što je najčešće dovodilo do stvaranja predrasuda, podjela i diskriminacije naroda u državama regiona. Države nastale na ruševinama jugoslavenskog ideološkog sistema ne samo da imaju potrebu već moraju raditi na jačanju razumijevanja i povjerenja među narodima, posebno kroz nastavu koja će imati za cilj uklanjanje predrasuda i naglašavanje pozitivnog međusobnog uticaja različitih naroda i država. Republika Sjeverna Makedonija pravi napore da rastereti nastavne sadržaje koji stvaraju podjele i predrasude. Udžbenici trebaju odražavati postavljene ciljeve nastavnih programa, kao i metodologiju pisanja udžbenika. Nastavni programi predviđaju izučavanje historije makedonskog naroda, ali i historije ustavotvornih naroda i država njihovog porijekla srazmjerno njihovom procentualnom učešću u ukupnom stanovništvu. Bošnjaci su ustavotvorni narod RS Makedonije, a njihova matica država je Bosna i Hercegovina. Ovim radom želimo analizirati koliko su sadržaji o Bosni i Hercegovini i Bošnjacima zastupljeni u udžbenicima te koliko su ispravni. Ne samo zbog značaja Bošnjaka za izgradnju i razvoj makedonske države i društva već i zbog mnogih zajedničkih viševjekovnih historijskih procesa, zajedničkih država čiji su dio bili od XV do kraja XX vijeka. Jako je važno da sadržaji o Bosni i Hercegovini i Bošnjacima budu zastupljeni i pravilno predstavljeni mladoj populaciji. Ukoliko obrazovanje ispuni svoju misiju koja predstavlja ključni faktor za međusobno razumijevanje u multietničkom i multireligioznom makedonskom društvu, možemo očekivati i njegov dugoročni socijalni i ekonomski razvoj. Ovim istraživanjem želimo utvrditi faktičko stanje ovog aspekta udžbenika Historije iza kojih stoje institucije koje se brinu za razvoj kompetentnog, kreativnog, građanski orijentiranog i etički izgrađenog ljudskog kapitala.

Abstract:
The main purpose of this paper is to analyze the financial safety of the deposits of Macedonian citizens and also the Deposit Guarantee Schemes Directive of the European Union. These paper consists of 4 parts. In the first part: “Introduction” we define the term “risk” and we also explain the reasons that arises the systemic risk. In the second part: “Deposit Guarantee Schemes Directive of the European Union”, we analyze in detail the legal framework of the European Union that regulates the issue of the deposit insurance system in its member states. In the third part: “Financial safety of the deposits in Macedonia”, we analyze the legal and institutional framework in our country that regulates the deposit insurance system and it is compared with the Directive of the European Union for Deposit Guarantee Schemes, in order to see what have we implemented of this Directive, and to suggest what measures should be taken in the future in order to harmonize the Macedonian law- framework of deposit insurance system on the road to the European Union. In the fourth part: "Conclusion", we are giving our basic conclusions that arise from our paper.

Abstract:
Bosna i Hercegovina prihvata načelno globalna opredjeljenja i proklamovane ciljeve relevantnih međunarodnih institucija (Pariški Sporazum, Evropski Zeleni Plan, i drugi) za prelaz na održivi niskougljenični razvoj baziran na kružnoj ekonomiji neuslovljenoj upotrebom prirodnih resursa, te težnju ka nultoj neto emisiji stakleničkih gasova. U energetskom sektoru to podrazumijeva povećanje energijske efikasnosti, te bezuvjetni prelaz na obnovljive izvore energije i eliminaciju fosilnih goriva. I dok je opšte opredjeljenje nesporno, način i dinamika ostvarenja pojedinih ciljeva u zacrtanom roku do 2050. godine sa najmanje negativnih ekonomskih, socijalnih, sigurnosnih i političkih posljedica predstavlja ozbiljni izazov, posebno u zemljama koje se, kao Bosna i Hercegovina, tradicionalno oslanjaju na sopstveni ugalj kao primarni energent. U cilju doprinosa iznalaženju optimalnih rješenja u energetskoj transformaciji, a u okviru Plana rada za 2019 godinu, Odbor za energiju, energetiku i okoliš (OEEO) Akademije nauka i umjetnosti Bosne i Hercegovine (ANUBiH) u saradnji i uz finansijsku podršku JP Elektroprivreda Bosne i Hercegovine d.d. Sarajevo, je organizovao regionalnno naučno-stručno savjetovanje: Budućnost postojećih i novih termoelektrana u BiH u energetskoj tranziciji, koje je održano 21. 11. 2019. godine u ANUBiH u Sarajevu. Cilj Savjetovanja je bio da nauka i struka, pod pokroviteljstvom i u okviru ANUBiH, u saradnji sa stručnjacima iz EU i Regije razmjene iskustva, stavove i planove o upotrebi uglja i biogoriva u proizvodnji električne i toplinske energije u periodu do 2050. godine. Na Savjetovanju, kojem su prisustvovali predstavnici vlasti i zvaničnih institucija iz BiH, naučni radnici, stručnjaci, menadžmenti elektroprivrednih organizacija iz oba bh. entiteta, je na bosanskom, srpskom, hrvatskom ili engleskom jeziku na prethodno odabrane teme izloženo 15 referata po pozivu. Pored stručnjaka iz BiH, referate su podnijeli i pozvani eksperti iz zemalja EU i okruženja sa elektroprivrednom strukturom i izazovima u toj oblasti sličnim kao što ih ima i BiH, a koje u proizvodnji električne energije karakteriše značajni, ili čak dominantni oslonac na fosilna goriva, naročito ugalj. U referatima su izloženi mogući modeli tranzicije i iskustva iz BiH, Srbije, Grčke, Sjeverne Makedonije, Poljske i Njemačke. Prošireni sažeci i slide prezentacije svih referata na jezicima na kojima su referati izloženi, kao i Zaključci Savjetovanja su sadržani u ovom Posebnom izdanju ANUBiH. Savjetovanje je potvrdilo da je dekarbonizacija elektroenergetskog sektora u EU i Regiji do 2050. godine opravdan, ali i veoma zahtjevan cilj. Svaka država koja se obavezala za takav cilj, mora razviti svoj model održive tranzicije, koristeći vlastito znanje, pomoć eksperata EU, te iskustva i modele drugih. U tom smislu zaključeno je da je veoma važno u što je moguće kraćem roku, u saradnji sa Energetskom zajednicom, detaljno i odgovorno koncipirati razvoj energetskog sektora u Bosni i Hercegovini u tranzicijskom periodu, dajući pritom do znanja Evropskoj uniji, ali i svima drugima, da je Bosna i Hercegovina spremna pratiti i ispoštovati generalno postavljene ciljeve u toj oblasti, uvažavajući pri tom svoju potrebu za energetskom neovisnošću. U tom cilju potrebno je definirati jasnu viziju, sa prohodnim putem do postavljenih ciljeva, uzimajući u obzir sve relevantne direktive i regulativu EU, ali i realne mogućnosti i potrebe Bosne i Hercegovine. Iskustva i poruke izložene u referatima, diskusije tokom Savjetovanja, te saznanja do kojih smo došli, a koji su sumirani u Zaključcima ovog dokumenta, čine korisnu bazu i orijentir za konkretizaciju strategije za aktuelnu tranziciju energetskog sektora BiH.
