This paper presents a novel fuzzy inference model based on artificial hydrocarbon networks, a computational algorithm for modeling problems based on chemical hydrocarbon compounds. In particular, the proposed fuzzy-molecular inference model (FIM-model) uses molecular units of information to partition the output space in the defuzzification step. Moreover, these molecules are linguistic units that can be partially understandable due to the organized structure of the topology and metadata parameters involved in artificial hydrocarbon networks. The article discusses the measurement model of tourism destination images perceived by travellers based on five dimensions of the service quality, i.e. tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, empathy, and assurance. Measurement problems occur when a traveller assesses the quality of a tourism destination service subjectively with vague boundaries and perceives the image of a tourism destination to vary. To address these issues, we designed an inference model using Mamdani's fuzzy inference system. The results of this study are quantitative assessments of the image of tourism destinations by va

Abstract:
Fuzzy expert systems are designed based on fuzzy logic and deal with fuzzy sets. Many fuzzy expert systems have been developed for diagnosis. Fuzzy expert systems are developed using fuzzification interface, enhanced fuzzy assessment methodology, and defuzzification interface. Fuzzification helps to convert crisp values into fuzzy values. By applying the enhanced fuzzy assessment methodology for rice, the yield parameters of rice can be diagnosed with number of tillers per hill, number of grains per panicle, and 1000 grain weight. Pest and disease incidence becomes simple for scientists. Enhanced fuzzy assessment methodology for rice uses triangular membership function with Mamdani's inference and K Ratio. Defuzzification interface is adopted to convert the fuzzy values into crisp values. Performance of the system can be evaluated using the accuracy level. Accuracy is the proportion of the total number of predictions that are correct. The proposed algorithm was implemented using MATLAB fuzzy logic tool box to construct fuzzy expert system for rice.

Abstract:
In this chapter, the authors present an innovative, smart controller to sustain mobility in wireless sensor networks (WSNs). Principally, the focal point is dependent on the arrangement of fuzzy input variables (i.e., remaining battery power [RBP], mobility, and centrality solution) to crucial usages, similar to personnel safety in an industrialized atmosphere. A mobility controller dependent upon type-1 fuzzy logic (T1FL) is planned to support sensor mobile nodes (MN). Here, a role model cluster head (RMCH) is picked out among the cluster heads (CHs) that may simply convey the message to the mobile base station (BS) by determining the appropriate type-1 fuzzy (T1F) descriptors such as RBP, mobility of the sink, and the centrality of the clusters. Type-1 fuzzy inference system (Mamdani's rule) is utilized to opt for the possibility to be RMCH. The validity of the introduced model is carried out by means of multiple linear regressions.

Abstract:
The study analyzes the factors that are determinants of competitiveness of business models of enterprises. The methodological approach to the comparative assessment of the competitiveness of business models of enterprises using the tools of fuzzy sets theory and fuzzy logic, which allows to take into account the fuzzy information received from specialists and experts, is developed. CANVAS business model criteria are considered as evaluation criteria. Two calculation schemes for analyzing the competitiveness of business models of enterprises have been implemented. The first was implemented using fuzzy multi-criteria evaluation methods, in particular, the Fuzzy TOPSIS method. The second scheme is based on Mamdani’s fuzzy inference algorithm. The fuzzy Delphi method is proposed to ensure the consistency of expert evaluations. The methodological approach is practically implemented as a framework in the Matlab computing system. The developed methodological approach can be useful in competitive analysis and strategic planning of the enterprise.
