AbstractThe European Union has taken the course to become climate neutral by 2050. To reach that target significant changes in all sectors are necessary, resulting in increasing regulatory pressure on energy producers, consumers and other sectors. Increasing legal requirements was also one of the reasons why the city of Daugavpils (population of 82 000) took a decision to implement an Energy management system (EnMS). In the boundaries of EnMS Daugavpils included more than 100 public buildings, public transportation and public lighting. This research paper presents results of the EnMS implementation, main drivers and barriers that Daugavpils has faced and overcome in the implementation process, and also assesses the benefits the city of Daugavpils has gained from EnMS. The success rate of EnMS in such an organisation as a municipality is based on the awareness and knowledge of the municipality’s employees and support from the municipality leaders. The case study of Daugavpils shows energy savings of 12 % in the public building sector after implementing EnMS.

The purpose of this study to apply the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) on theHospital Management Information System. This research is important because changesin hospital management information system (SIMRS) of the old system in collaborationwith third parties to the new system is a standalone system that was developed by the ITteam RSO Prof. dr. R. Soeharso requires a process of transition, which for some employeeslead to conflict in the process of adaptation. This study is an empirical research withquantitative methods. The population of all employees who use information managementsystem as much as 382 people, 193 people sampled with sample random samplingtechnique. The results of this study include shows, computer selt efficacy influence theperceived usefulness and perceived ease of use of technology in hospital managementinformation system. Subjective norms affect the perceived usefulness and perceived easeof use of technology in hospital management information system. System accessibilitywhile no effect on the perception of the benefits, but the effect on the perceived ease ofuse of technology in hospital management information system.

Abstract:

The study aimed to compare the egg production and hatchability of local ducks under different management systems, namely semi-intensive and extensive. The research conducted was an experimental one-way classification withtwo treatments.Each treatment used 15 male and 120 females (mating ratio 1:8), and ducks aged 13-14 months. Eggs production was recorded during three weeks period. About300 eggs were selected from each treatment to be hatched. Fertility was observedat 4th days of hatching process using egg candler. Data of eggs production, eggs weight, fertility,and hatchability were analyzed using unpaired two sample Student’s t-test. The results showed that average of egg weight, fertility and hatchability were notdifferent under two managementsystem, but egg production in the semi-intensive maintenance was significantly higher (P<0.05) thanthose inthe extensive system.Egg production in the semi-intensivewas 12.3% higher than those in the extensive.In conclusion, the semi-intensive system that is applied in this study the number of eggs production but did not affect the average of egg weight, fertility and hatchability.

Bei der Messung der Prozess- und Ergebnisqualität in Einrichtungen des Gesundheitswesens ergeben sich eine Reihe besonderer Probleme, die eine einfache Übertragung von Qualitätskennzahlen aus anderen Wirtschaftsbereichen erschweren. So müssen die unterschiedlichen Anforderungen verschiedener Anspruchsgruppen wie z.B. von Patienten. Krankenkassen und staatlichen Institutionen abgebildet werden. Im vorgestellten Projekt wurde auf zwei Stationen einer psychiatrischen Klinik erfolgreich erprobt, ob das Managementsystem PPM ( Pritchard, Kleinbeck & Schmidt, 1993 ) als Instrument der Qualitätsmessung im Gesundheitswesen geeignet ist. Es zeigte sich, dass vor allem die bei der Entwicklung eines PPM-Systems geforderte Klärung und präzise Definition von gemeinsamen Aufgaben und Leistungsstandards einer aus verschiedenen Berufsgruppen (u.a. Ärzte, Pfleger / Schwestern und Sozialarbeiter) zusammengesetzten Arbeitsgruppe einer Station von den Betroffenen als hilfreich erlebt wird. Entgegen vielfach geäußerter Zweifel war es möglich, hinreichend inhaltsvalide und für die Mitarbeiter anwendungsfreundliche Messgrößen zur Qualitätsmessung zu entwickeln. Es zeigte sich auch, dass die Entwicklung und Anwendung von Leistungsmesssystemen entsprechend der PPM-Systematik den Betroffenen hilft. Probleme der internen Arbeitsorganisation festzustellen und - ggf. mit externer Begleitung - zu beseitigen. Weiterhin wird die Ausweitung des Projekts über interne Multiplikatoren beschrieben.

Traditionalwarehouse management models have become less efficient and unsuitable for today’s increasingmarket requirements. For the past decades, information and communication technology has beenused for warehouse management. This paper presents a new approach for warehouse managementby utilizing one of the main pillars of Industry 4.0, the Internet of Things. This new technologyenables the connection of several objects through collecting real-time data and sharing them; theresulting information can then be used to support automated decision-making. The architecture ofthis application is illustrated and its potential benefits are overviewed. A framework is proposed toimplement this approach in warehousing management, which can help in providing real-timevisibility of everything in the warehouse, increasing speed and efficiency, and preventing inventoryshortage and counterfeiting. This proposal gives an effective roadmap for enterprises to improvetheir warehouses by using the Internet of Things.

Purpose: In this article the analysis of integrated management system of quality,environment and occupational health and safety was presented. The functioning of suchsystem on the selected enterprise was discussed.Design/methodology/approach: The new standards of PN-EN ISO 9001:2015, PN-ENISO 14001:2015 were presented. Also, the occupational health and safety managementsystem according to the new ISO 45001 standard was shown. The necessity of themanagement systems integration was presented.Findings: In this paper the changes in PN-EN ISO 9001:2015, PN-EN ISO 14001:2015 werepresented. The advantages and disadvantages of the integrated management system in theselected enterprise were shown.Practical implications: The most important changes in ISO standards for quality,environment and occupational health and safety were presented. There is also significantto show the faults in implementation and operation of the integrated management system,what will protect other organizations before such problems.Originality/value: In this paper indicated that only proper implementation of the integratedmanagement system based on PN-EN ISO 9001, PN-EN ISO 14001 and PN-N-18001 couldprovide real benefits. Otherwise, it is an unnecessary waste of time and money.

Abstract:

The paperexamines the attitude to uncertainty and risk withinthe Russian model of management by A.P. Prokhorov. It is shown that the attitudeis determined by the dual nature of this model. The Russian managementsystem in itsmobilization phase easily copes with the uncertainty and allows risky decisions. In the stable phase, the Russian model rejects risk, and security, understood as maintaining the achieved state, becomes a priority. A risky situation is a type of uncertain one when the occurrence of possible events is probable and can be estimated. In this situation, it is possible to assess the likelihood of events resulting from the influence of the natural environment, the actions of partners, opponents, etc., which cannot be done in a situationof uncertainty, and this is thekey factor that distinguishes between risk and uncertainty. Wedefine risk as an integral indicator that combines assessments of both the probabilities of implementing a solution and the quantitative characteristics of its consequences. Thus, risk management presupposes, first of all, a conscious and rational choice. Since changing the national model of management takes a lot of time, wesuggest to try to change the attitude to risk in modern Russian organizations.

The model of the irrigation water managementsystem used is based on the risk of land failure and the optimum area of land that can be planted. The parameters usedto overcome this problem are planting schedules, risk of land failure and factor k. The k factor is the ratio of wateravailability to water needs. The output of this system is optimal net benefit based on the optimal alternative irrigatedland area. The results of the formula will show the optimal amount of land area that produces optimal net benefitsbased on certain planting schedules and certain effective rainfall. This system will also show that optimization will beachieved if there is a water balance between the availability and needs of irrigation water. The system referred to inthis study is a dynamic system. The purpose of this study is to make a preliminary design of a dynamic system to optimizethe irrigation system of agricultural land. The results obtained in this study were in the form of feedback loops andinteractions between loops with each other in agricultural irrigation systems.

This study reports on the implementation of a15 week (one semester) pilot test of Xreading® (www.xreading.com),an online Graded Reader (GR) library and learning managementsystem (LMS) devoted specifically to the implementation and operationof extensive reading at a private university in Tokyo, Japan.Participants in this study have access to a vast virtual library of gradedreaders and are being instructed to read outside of class using a mobiledevice. This paper reports on student engagement with this platformexclusively for 15 weeks in regards to changes in reading speeds,volume of reading, and correlations between these numbers andTOEIC® IP test scores. The authors will reflect on student attitudesand perceptions of reading digitally and lastly, present someconsiderations for teachers and administrators who recognize thebenefits of ER and who, for various reasons, envisage implementingextensive reading into their classroom syllabus or program curriculum.

Zusammenfassung Hintergrund Zurzeit ist ein Paradigmenwechsel bei der Therapie der iatrogenen gastrointestinalen Perforation hin zu einer primär endoskopischen Versorgung festzustellen. Material und Methoden Alle Perforationen im Rahmen aller konsekutiven gastrointestinalen Endoskopien von 01.01.2014 bis 31.12.2017 im Klinikum St. Marien Amberg wurden erfasst, dokumentiert und evaluiert. Hausinterne SOPs zum Prozedere wurden erstellt und kommuniziert. Grundsätzlich wurde der primäre interventionell-endoskopische Perforationsverschluss angestrebt, stets im interdisziplinären Konsens mit der Viszeralchirurgie. Ergebnisse Es kam im Beobachtungszeitraum zu 24 Perforationen bei 18 627 konsekutiven Endoskopien (0,13 %). Fälle mit bildgebendem Nachweis freier Luft ohne erkennbare Perforation waren gleich häufig wie Perforationen (12 Post-Polypektomiesyndrome und 12 Ereignisse nach ERCP mit EPT). Die Diagnose der Perforation erfolgte zu 95,8 % (23/24) innerhalb 12 h (davon 20 bereits bei der Endoskopie). Die initiale Therapiemodalität war in jeweils 3 Fällen primär operativ bzw. primär konservativ und in 17 Fällen primär endoskopisch (4 × Clips, 10 × OTSC, 3 × SEMS). In 1 Fall wurde keine Therapie durchgeführt. Es war eine Letalität von 4,2 % (1/24) zu verzeichnen. In 3 Fällen war sekundär ein operatives Vorgehen erforderlich, sodass insgesamt in 25 % (6/24) eine chirurgische Therapie erfolgte. Die interventionell-endoskopische Therapie war technisch erfolgreich zu 94,1 % (16/17) bei einem klinischen Erfolg nach Perforationsverschluss von 87,5 % (14/16). Diskussion Das Konzept der interventionell-endoskopischen Therapie iatrogener Perforationen ist im klinischen Alltag sicher und erfolgreich umsetzbar. Entscheidende Erfolgsfaktoren sind die kurze Zeitspanne bis zum Verschluss der Perforation und der stets anzustrebende interdisziplinäre Konsens im Vorfeld der Therapie. Auf der Basis der Ergebnisse wurde ein umfassendes Komplikationserfassungs- und Managementsystem (KEMS) für die Endoskopie ab 2016 in unserer Klinik etabliert (integriert in das Befunderstellungssystem und das Klinikinformationssystem).

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of personal technical ability andtraining of information system operator on the performance of local managementsystem (SIMDA) mediated by actual usage in the Government of BondowosoRegency. This is a quantitative research using explanatory approach. Thepopulation was all operators of SIMDA/the compilers of financial statements. Theresearch sample consisted of 62 respondents. Data were analyzed using pathanalysis. Zusammenfassung Der land- und forstwirtschaftlichen Nutzung kommt eine Schlüsselrolle für die Erhaltung der biologischen Vielfalt zu. In diesem Zusammenhang untersuchen wir zum einen die Kennzeichen und den Status quo einer nachhaltigen Land- und Forstwirtschaft und zum anderen den Beitrag der deutschen Großschutzgebiete zur Verwirklichung einer nachhaltigen Landnutzung. Nachhaltig sind land- und forstwirtschaftliche Nutzungen, wenn sie bei der Bedarfsdeckung der heutigen Generation diejenige der kommenden Generationen nicht einschränken. Das wichtigste Kennzeichen von Nachhaltigkeit ist ein funktionierendes Managementsystem, in dem eine periodische Wirkungskontrolle und Adjustierung der Nutzung auf der Grundlage aussagekräftiger Indikatoren durchgeführt wird. Die derzeit eingeführten Indikatorensysteme sind im Hinblick auf die biologische Vielfalt noch unvollständig, weisen nicht immer Zielwerte auf und ermöglichen nur eingeschränkt Aussagen zum Zusammenwirken von Zuständen, Belastungen und Maßnahmen. Mit den Großschutzgebietskategorien in Deutschland werden unterschiedliche Ziele verfolgt. Während Nationalparke aufgrund des Ausschlusses land- und forstwirtschaftlicher Nutzung auf dem größten Teil ihrer Fläche Vorranggebiete für den Naturschutz darstellen, dienen Naturparke und Biosphärenreservate der Integration von Nutzungs- und Schutzzielen. Die Großlandschaften Deutschlands werden durch die verschiedenen Großschutzgebiete nur eingeschränkt repräsentiert. Damit Naturparke und Biosphärenreservate zukünftig verstärkt Modellräume für die Integration von Landnutzung und Naturschutz darstellen können, sollten ihr Management verbessert und eine systematischere Schutzgebietsplanung durchgeführt werden. Bei Nationalparken ist bereits deutlich erkennbar, dass sie ihre Vorrangfunktion für den Naturschutz in naher Zukunft erfüllen werden.

Interaksi yang lemah antar pengguna sering terjadi kendala-kendala dalam pengelolaan manajemen data dan pengisian kuisioner yang masih menggunakan media kertas, sehingga terjadi penumpukan file serta pengaksesan yang lambat diakibatkan penyimpanan yang sembarangan. Dengan adanya sistem ini bertujuan membantu memperkuat interaksi pengguna, memudahkan pengisian kuisioner dan mengelola data alumni menjadi lebih sistematis yang akan memudahkan menemukan file. Sistem ini didisain menggunakan metode waterfall dan arsitektur Model-View-Controller (MVC). Sistem ini dirancang dengan menggunakan Database Management system (DBMS) MySQL. Dengan demikian sistem e-tracer study menghasilkan sistem yang berjalan pada browser dan mendukung ke semua perangkat serta menyediakan fitur autocomplete untuk memudahkan user. Sehingga, pelayanan pengelolaan data menjadi lebih optimal, efisien, dan sistematis.Kata kunci : Sistem E-Tracer Study, Kuisioner, Yii2 Framework, Mobile Web The issues raised in this article related to the design of alumni e-tracer study system at SMA PGRI 1 Padang. The weak interaction beetwen users often occurs obtacles in the management of data management and filiing out questinnaires that still use paper as the media, resulting in a buildup of files and slow access due to careless storage. The exstence of this system aims to help strengthen user interaction, facilitate the filing out quistinnaire and manage alumni data more systemaric, which will finding file . This system is desaign using the Waterfall method and Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture. This system is designd using the MySQL Database ManagementSystem (DBMS).thus the e-tracer study system produces asystem that runs on the browser and support all devices and provide an autocomplete feature to facilitate the user.
