Abstract:
Základním výzkumným cílem článku je objasnit příčiny a důsledky zapojení některých sociálních vědců do procesu dokazování v oblasti protiextremistického působení práva. Výzkumná otázka zní: jakým způsobem došlo k relativně silnému zapojení některých sociálních vědců do protiextremistického působení v ČR a jakým způsobem bylo toto zapojení vnímáno ve veřejné sféře? Článek je pojat jako kvalitativní studie, která využívá analýzy veřejné politiky, historické metody a srovnávacího přístupu. V části o právních předpokladech budou využity i metody právní analýzy, ale článek je dominantně psán ze sociálněvědní perspektivy a neobsahuje komplexní zpracování právní úpravy soudního znalectví a její soudní praxe. Autor vychází především z primárních pramenů, kterými jsou úřední dokumenty z resortů vnitra a spravedlnosti, dále pak soudní rozsudky a další rozhodnutí orgánů činných v trestním řízení. V článku bude primárně věnována pozornost využití politologie a příbuzných oborů.

Abstract:
The thesis deals with the evaluation of the quality of social services, particularly services Sheltered Housing. For this evaluation of quality were selected four non-profit organizations focused on service housing in the region of South Bohemia. In this thesis we determined comparative areas according to the criteria of qualitative standards of social welfare, in accordance with those standards organizations are compared mutually and evaluated. For comparison of those organizations, focusing on social services, I have used the benchmarking method. The aim of the thesis is,on the basis of the lesson learned in comparing those organizations, identify potential improvements of provided social welfare and processing specific proposals and recommendations. These recommendations, can be used by those organizations to improve and enhance the quality of social services.

Abstract:
The new law about social services, that is effective since 1st January 2007, brought series of changes into the Czech social services system. These changes should contribute to modernizing and improving the quality of provided social services. Improving of the quality happens via implementing standards for quality in social services, that are sets of measurable and verifiable criteria. Verification of completing standards runs at the place where social services are provided and it is called quality inspection. Graduation theses analyses three runs of testing inspections, that proceeded in 2002, 2004 -- 2005, 2006 -- 2007 in the Czech Republic. Analysis evaluates the best and the worst completed standards, regional location of providers, where there the inspections were performed, and general fruitfulness of providers of social services at inspection. There are mentioned recommendations, which came out of the inspection analysis.

The aim of this thesis is to describe the system of financing of NGOs in social services and to develop their self-financing possibilities, including the practical application of the theoretical basis for the specific NGO. The theoretical part deals with the definition of social services, the Act No. 108/2006 Coll., on social services, legal forms of social services providers, and especially main sources of financing of NGOs in social services with a focus on how these might be self-financing. Practical part includes an analysis of the financing of the civic association OPORA including evaluation and selection of appropriate possibilities of its self-financing.

Daná problematika je zde řešena na příkladu Výchovného ústavu pro mládež na OP (odloučeném pracovišti) v Janštejně. Jedná se o zařízení pro výkon ústavní výchovy mládeže od 15 do 18 let.

TICHÁ, Michaela. Work motivation in social services. Prague, Faculty of Humanities, Department of Management and Supervision in Social and Health Organisations, Charles University, 2012, 97 pp., Master Degree Thesis. This diploma thesis is concerned with the work motivation in social services and its potential for improvement in Czech Republic. A valid data was collected by questionnaire survey reflecting the needs of managers arising from their daily work. The theoretical part is focused on clarifying the motivating factors , the relationship of man to work, and specifics of work in social services. The empirical part deals with the survey among managers of social services. I compiled ranking of most common and missed motivators. In the discussion and conclusion, I compared the instruments used with the expectations of employees. The main outcome of this thesis has become a practical and distributed recommendation. Abstract:
The diploma thesis deals with the topic of the professional past of managers in social services and its influence on the performance of managerial profession. In my thesis I'm dealing with those workers who are currently working in managerial positions and previously worked as social workers. I am interested about how their professional past influenced the performance of their managerial function and how these managers get new managerial competencies. In the theoretical part, I mainly deal with the competencies of social workers, the competencies of managers and then I compare them. I also deal with the acquisition of managerial competencies. In the practical part, I describe the methodology of research surveys and present the results I have reached. The main method is a qualitative research survey using a semi-structured interview. A supplementary method is a quantitative research survey using a questionnaire. In the discussion, I compare these results with available resources. Finally, I reflect the fulfillment of the goals of my thesis and make recommendations.

The theoretical part is devoted to a more detailed description of the specifics of working with persons addicted to narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, human resources, social services, the concept of motivation, motivational factors, types of motivation and motivational theories. Abstract:
The thesis focuses on mapping and analysis of the current functioning of supervision in social services in the region of Liberec. The research aspires to find answers to the question of the scope of supervision in the social services in the given region and what type of supervision prevails in these facilities. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on collection and classification of generally available documents on supervision in the Czech Republic. It deals with the definition of the term supervision and the historical context of its creation in the field of social services. This part of the thesis describes the basic functions of supervision, structure of the supervisory process and its types. It draws the basic conditions of a successful introduction of supervision in organisations and in this context deals with the current issue of supervisions as a part of the quality standards of social services. The aim of the theoretical part is to create theoretical starting points for the practical research and determination of hypotheses. The practical part aspires to map the current situation in the supervisory activities in the field of social services. The research was carried on in the region of Liberec in social services facilities. The practical part included a preliminary research performed in the form of a controlled interview with five supervisors. The research itself had a form of a questionnaire. The aim was to find out whether supervision works in the facilities, what is the most frequent topic of the current supervision, how the workers conceive supervision and what type of supervision prevails in the organisations. Secondarily, the research focused on the analysis of the used from of supervision, frequency of supervisory meetings and review of the supervision by the workers. A partial goal of the research was to find out how the head workers cope with the introduction of supervision at their workplaces and how they motivate their employees to participate in the supervision. The research in the region of Liberec unquestionably showed that supervision has been slowly bringing itself to the attention of the workers in the field of social services. Though institutions with supervision introduced at the workplaces prevail in this field, there are still many organisations in which supervision has not been carried on due to various reasons. It has turned out that in facilities with a functioning supervision, it is usually conceived as one of the possible ways how to support the workers in the assisting professions and its presence in the organisation has been considered beneficial. The research maps opinions and attitudes of respondents to a ``good{\crqq} supervisor and ethical principles in supervision accompanied by practical instructions and recommendations.

Abstract:
This master work deals with the measurement of the quality in social services. The present system how to guarantee the quality is quite new in the Czech Republic. So it can be useful to investigate it deeply. The study focuses on the indicators of the quality in social services, because assessing the quality by inspectors is based on them. There are the first analyses of the past inspections nowadays. They point out the heterogenity in the evaluation of the indicators as the components of the evaluated standards. The caseless judgement of the poor quality of social services can cause farreaching consequences to them. Many of providers are occupied with solving financial situation, creating standards of quality and solving everyday matters in so far they can devote their time to this theme marginally or not at all. In the empirical part of this work, there has been used a grouded theory, which has been based on qualitative interviews identifying crucial factors of the surveyed area. Cumulating and lingering problems away can mean a wide range of the negative impact for the organization: As from a negative attitude to the philosophy of quality, spreading a bad reputation of the inspection and ends with frustrated employees,, or even their leaving social services.
