Abstract:
The presence of phosphine (PH3) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) in industrial tail gas results in the difficulty of secondary utilization. Using waste solid as a wet absorbent to purify the H2S and PH3 is an attractive strategy with the achievement of “waste controlled by waste”. In this study, the reaction mechanism of simultaneously removing H2S and PH3 by modified manganese slag slurry was investigated. Through the acid leaching method for raw manganese slag and the solid–liquid separation subsequently, the liquid-phase part has a critical influence on removing H2S and PH3. Furthermore, simulati

Results of study of lining and scull of the hearth of blast furnace No. 2 of JSC EVEAZ ZSMK presented, done after BF stop for major overhaul. It was determined, that the scull has a zonal structure, due to different conditions of the forming of it during the furnace running and blowing-down. The scull consists of isolations of graphite, metal and slag inclusions having distinctly lamellar structure. Number of slag inclusions in the scull of the hearth walls lower the hot metal tap hole is not big and sharply arises in samples at levels above the tap hole. In metal structure within the scull fe

Fluorescence spectroscopy and microscopy have been used extensively to monitor biomolecules, especially reactive oxygen species (ROS) and, more recently, reactive sulfide (RSS) species. Nearly all fluorophores are either excited by or emit light between 450 and 550 nm, which is similar to the absorbance of heme proteins and metal-centered porphyrins. Here we examined the effects of catalase (Cat), reduced and oxidized hemoglobin (Hb and metHb), albumin (alb), manganese (III) tetrakis (4-benzoic acid) porphyrin chloride (MnTBAP), iron protoporphyrin IX (hemin), and copper protoporphyrin IX (CuP
