Abstract:
This essay examines a probable second draft of the Borges story “El inmortal”, originally published as “Los inmortales” in Los Anales de Buenos Aires in February 1947, and subsequently included as the lead story in the short story collection El Aleph in 1949. The manuscript, which is now in Special Collections at Michigan State University Libraries, includes late revisions, though it seems to have been the copy sent to the compositors for Los Anales. There are several printer’s marks that indicate where to place the illustrations, two by Amanda Molina y Vedia and one by the writer’s sister, Norah Borges. This manuscript does not contain bibliographical references in the left margin, a feature of some other Borges manuscripts from this time, although the story itself includes acknowledged and unacknowledged quotations from a variety of sources.

Abstract:
Bioelectricity occurs inside a living organism. It is nature through which living beings survive. It is a phenomenon through which organisms live and is also parallel to electrophysiology. Bioelectric potentials are generated by many biological processes. Bioelectric potentials are very like electrical potentials, which are generated by batteries. The bioelectric potential in a cell membrane has a potential of about 500 milli volts. Cells use their potential to control metabolic processes. But some cells use them differently for psychological functions. Cells allow the potential to be between inside and outside to discharge current to the nerves. The transportation of sodium ions is also involved in production of action potential, the ancient Indian vedic yajna, mantra, and meditation science has been proved effective to increase this bioelectricity. In this manuscript, the authors examined the different energy distribution of subjects on different organs.

Abstract:
Abstract The study of the history of print technology in South Asia is a multidisciplinary enterprise which involves attentive consideration of the cultural and linguistic diversity of the region, as well as of the historical time in which print technology was massively adopted, namely the colonial period. Here, we focus on the complex fabric of relationships between print and modes of recording and using texts in long present oral and manuscript cultures, also pointing out the limits of applying interpretative models based on the cultural history of Europe to the histories of print in South Asia. Furthermore, we present aspects of the formative stage of print cultures concerning Vedic, Limbu, Nepali, Newari, and Tamil textual traditions—which are studied in the essays of this special issue. This multi-layered perspective helps making sense of social and cultural dynamics concerning the uses of printed books, the (new) meanings associated with them, and the formation of hegemonic configurations within literary and religious traditions.

Abstract:
Ayurveda is an ancient science having its roots in Vedic literature which follows a certain pattern of recitation and learning. Over the ages with the advancement of technology, the Manuscripts which were carved on different objects have acquired a digital form. The principles of Ayurveda science are the same but it is a need of the hour to present it in an innovative and convincing manner. Patha, Avabodha and Anusthana are the key principles that form the basis of Ayurveda teaching. The challenge lies in developing the various methodologies of teaching Ayurveda in this scientific age. The aim of this paper is to highlight the different methodologies like recitation of Samhitas, power-point presentations, experimental models, animations, scientific writing and advances in research techniques etc. For this study, the materials collected from different Ayurvedic classics, scholarly articles and information on internet was referred. Ancient knowledge is wisdom, but to understand this wisdom we have to add newer perspective in the way of teaching, learning and grasping. Recitation of verses in musical forms based on Chanda Shastra fulfills the principle of Patha. Effective power point presentations, animations can lead to better grasping of the concepts which fulfills the principle of Avabodha. Scientific writing and researches are the application of knowledge which defines the principle of Anusthana. These points will be highlighted in detail in this review article.

Abstract:
The Vedas are one of the oldest manuscripts in the world literature. The word Veda is derived from the Sanskrit root ‘vid’ which means knowledge, but it could be attributed as a bundle of knowledge of the Vedic period. All the Indian chronicles and myths extol the Vedas. There is not even a single mantra anywhere in the sacred text repudiating anyone the right to become versed in Vedas but the authority to study and teach the Vedas abounding with knowledge, has been interpreted as the right of a monopolized community gradually. Prominent social reformers like Dayananda Saraswati and Swami Vivekananda who visited India in the late 19th century argued that everyone has the right to study the Vedas. Meanwhile, Chattambi Swami wrote Vedadhikara Nirupanam, proclaiming that the right to study Veda belongs to everyone in Kerala. In this book, Chattambi Swami analyses extensively the question of who is qualified to study the Vedas and has explicitly established that everyone who has the desire to study the Vedas and the customs in rapport with it are eligible for the study. The dissension created by this work was tremendous during the time when the elite castes and scholars of the society strongly believed and argued that only Brahmins had the dominion to study the Vedas. Vyaptheshcha Samajasam is elaborated in the Brahma Sutras as follows. Para brahma swaroopi, Parameswaran (Lord Shiva) is omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient and absolute. On account of this, it is equitable to say that even if there is a disparity in the name or context of the theosophical form of knowledge, the objective serves as the same. The purpose of all techniques is to illustrate the essence of God in copious ways. They all have similarities in it. Therefore every theosophy is analogous. After reflecting the Vedic forms and significance of the Vedas, Chattambi Swami encompasses the principles of Shruti(what is heard), Yukti(logic) and Anubhavam (experience) and depicts his own perceptions. Similarly, Swami meticulously discusses who is a Brahmin. For instance, Swami examines whether any of these qualities like pure knowledge, birth, noble action and self knowledge make a person a Brahmin or a combination of all these. From this discussion it is implicit that a Brahmin is only one who has wisdom and associated noble deeds. The dogma that the Shudrascannot be educated ‘nasthrishudrau vedamathiyatham’, this verse is neither a Veda nor a Smriti, it is just a sutra (aphorism). It is not accepted or studied anywhere in Shruti (what is heard) Smriti (what is recollected) mythological texts. Therefore, it does not have to be accepted as a doctrine. The verse means that women and Shudras need not have to study but it cannot be interpreted that they are incapable to learn. Even if it is argued that Shudras (lowest ranked of the four varnas of Hindu caste system) have no authority to study the Puranas, many of the authors of the Puranas are Shudras. The veracity of the matter cannot be denied. Most people know that the author of the Suta Samhita is also a Shudra. Ergo, the eminence of that book cannot be deemed as inferior. Parasaran, the son of Odakkari, and Vyasa, the son of Mukuvathi (fisherwoman) compiled the Vedas and were also Brahmins.

Abstract:
The research efforts in low power electronic devices and the cellular networks has been strengthened with the continuous growth in mobile and portable systems . In the modern era there are various portable applications that needs low power(smaller & efficient battery) and higher mili ampere hour then before. Due to this, design of low power devices has now become a significant Performance criteria. While considering the elementary structure of Finite impulse Response Filter, that is the arrangement of multipliers(which is a systematic arrangements of adders) and dely. This manuscript represents the simulation , implementation & analysis report for performance evaluation to minimize delay & RAM consumption during calculation procedure. In this manuscript, we have coded , simulated & implemented selected multipliers such as Vedic, Wallace, Dadda, Booth, Array & Sequential multiplier. Comparative analysis has been done using Xylinx 14.4 with family Spartan6, device as xc6slx45, package csg324 with speed grade of -3 for bit length 2,4,8,16 & 32 using Wallace, dada, Sequential, array, Vedic & Booth Algorithm respectively.
