In this paper the novel green synthesis of cobalt oxide nanoparticles (Co3O4NPs) from cobalt chloride (CoCl2) using Mappia foetida leaf extract was investigated. The characterization of the Co3O4NPs was done by using UV – Vis spectroscopy, EDX, XRD and SEM analysis techniques. Comparative antibacterial study was done against gram positive and gram negative bacteria by well diffusion method in which results revealed that the biologically synthesized Co3O4NPs showed relatively similar antibacterial potential as chemically synthesized Co3O4NPs and higher antibacterial potential than that of posit

<em>M. foetida belongs to the family Icacinaceae and it is used for the treatment of cancer disease. It contains many secondary metabolites such as alkaloids, phenols, tannins, flavonoids, amino acids and saponins. Thin layer chromatography has been used for secondary metabolite separation which shows the diversity in plant extracts. This proves that all secondary metabolites having medicinal properties. From GCMS analysis 70 compounds have been found, in which 7 compounds have followed Lipinski rule which has anticancer property verified through in silico analysis.</em> <strong><em>Keywords</e

<em>Endophytes are the excellent source for the production of bioactive natural compounds. Endophytic fungi were isolated from the endangered medicinal plant Mappia foetida. Fusarium oxysporum has been cultured and identified. Qualitative assay of the bioactive natural compounds was investigated by using standard protocol. The extract was screened for possible antioxidant activities by free radical scavenging activity (DPPH). Hence this study showed promising DPPH (1, 1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) scavenging activity for F. oxysporum. The endophytic fungal leaf extract of F. oxysporum showed hi

Cancer has become the leading disease-related cause of death in the human population. For example, in the United States, cancer is the second leading cause of death behind cardiovascular disease, and it is projected that cancer will become the leading cause of death in the coming years. The medical treatment of cancer still has many unmet needs. The main curative therapies for cancer, surgery and radiation, are generally only successful if the cancer is found at an early localized stage. Once cancer has progressed to metastatic stage, these therapies are less successful. Hence, chemotherapeuti
