Under suitable hypotheses on control coefficients, we study Halpern’s method to approximate strongly common fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping and of a nonspreading mapping or a fixed point of one of them. A crucial tool in our results is the regularization with the averaged type mappings.

Abstract:
Tone mapping is used to compress the dynamic range of image data without distortion. To compress the dynamic range of HDR images and prevent halo artifacts, a tone mapping method is proposed based on the least squares method. Our method first uses weights for the estimation of the illumination, and the image detail layer is obtained by the Retinex model. Then, a global tone mapping function with the parameter is used to compress the dynamic range, and the parameter is obtained by fitting the function to the histogram equalization. Finally, the detail layer and the illumination layer are fused

An indicator of a passive biped walker’s global stability is its domain of attraction, which is usually estimated by the simple cell mapping method. It needs to calculate a large number of cells’ Poincare mapping result in the estimating process. However, the Poincare mapping is usually computationally expensive and time-consuming due to the complex dynamical equation of the passive biped walker. How to estimate the domain of attraction efficiently and reliably is a problem to be solved. Based on the simple cell mapping method, an improved method is proposed to solve it. In modern ocean exploration, forward-looking sonar (FLS) provides real-time 2D imaging of the seabed ahead, but its detection range is relatively limited. Conversely, side-scan sonar (SSS) enables large-scale imaging of the seabed during movement but struggles to effectively image areas directly beneath the sensor. Integrating FLS and SSS offers a promising solution by leveraging their complementary strengths to achieve comprehensive seabed mapping. However, no prior research has explored this fusion approach. This paper presents a novel method for FLS and SSS fusion mapping. Firstly, a novel

To overcome this shortcoming,we introduce a novel deep learning outlier detection method, called Outlier Preserving Distribution Mapping Autoencoder (OP-DMA), which succeeds to map outliers to low probability regions in t

This method enables participants to create a visual map of the key resources and assets in their community, organisation, workplace etc, that are important for their wellbeing and thriving. It is designed to encourage marginalised groups to visually represent and reflect on these resources and the power relations that shape who accesses and controls resources. They map and rank the actors who have more/less power, control and access, and discuss the reasons behind these differences. Finally, a discussion of possible strategies and actions for change can be facilitated.
