Abstract:
Maqamat adalah salah satu genre sastra Arab prosa yang biasa berisi tentang pesan-pesan moral, sosial keagamaan. Di antara sastrawan Arab yang menulis karya sastra dengan genre ini adalah al-Zamakhsyari. Di dalam maqamat-nya, terdapat 50 tema, di antaranya adalah: Maqamah al-Marashid, Maqamah al-Ridwan, Maqamah al-Taslim, Maqamah al-Tha’ah, Maqamah al-Tauhid, Maqamah al-Ibadah, dan lain sebagainya. Sebagai sebuah karya sastra, tentu di dalam maqamat karya al-Zamakhsyari ini terdapat banyak unsur-unsur keindahan sastra yang bisa memberikan efek terhadap siapa saja yang berinteraksi dengannya. Dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif, artikel ini mengkaji tentang keindahan-keindahan lafaz dan makna (al-muhassinat al-lafdziyah wal ma’nawiyah) yang terkandung di dalam maqamat karya al-Zamakhsyari dengan berlandaskan pada teori ilmu balaghah.

Abstract:
This research seeks to study the act of achievement in Al-Zabidiyah Maqama of al-Hariri. Because it represents a linguistic characteristic worthy of study in the maqamat, as it is possible to separate the text of the maqamah, and to stand on the pragmatic purposes with different contextual dimensions that enhance the relationship between the speaker and the addressee. Proceeding from that, this study, titled “The Performing Verb in Al-Zabidiyah Maqama of al-Hariri: A Pragmatic Study,” examined its linguistic structures that work to accomplish verbs when they are pronounced, and demonstrates their active impact in enriching the maqamah text in the light of a pragmatic analysis that takes into account the social and cultural influences surrounding the text. And other than what is required by the deliberative lesson approach adopted by this study. The importance of this study lies in the fact that it seeks to identify the performing acts in Al-Zabidiyah maqamah, and then to highlight the manner in which these actions were accomplished. The nature of the research necessitated that the researcher raise the following problem; - What are the performing verbs generated in the text of Al-Zabidiyah Maqama? How did you accomplish these actions? In this study, the researcher will follow Searle's five-fold classification. In order to reach a pragmatic approach based on the exploration of the structure of the Maqama text in the light of the communicative process and the performance norms that govern it; In order to decipher its verbal codes, and to apprehend its accomplishments that it achieved in the text of Al-Zabidiyah Maqamah. In conclusion, this research reached a number of results, the most important of which are: the diversity of news verbs in the text of the maqamah; It came either proven, or negative, or confirmed. The command, interrogative, and appeal methods were not limited to performing directive verbs only, but rather expanded their scope, and expressive verbs were accomplished according to the context and the appropriate situation.

Abstract:
Al-Wasiti's drawings are the first attempt to document the Arab landscape more than 778 years ago. These drawings were associated with a fine literary material, and the relationships between words and poetic sentences are matched by artistic, aesthetic and color relations in drawing, as they are all outputs of a sense that agreed in creativity and differed in the language of expression. Al-Wasiti was creative in drawing these events. Islamic painting has a goal that differs from the goals of the painting arts that preceded it or its contemporary, as it tends to “beautification” only. This is achieved by true copying from nature, just as it is achieved by drawing what is transmitted from nature, transforming and refining it. The shocking and ambiguous thing in these (Maqamah), especially in the thirty-ninth (Maqamah), He dared to draw a woman going through labor, revealing her body parts with a clear frontal drawing & we find that it exceeded what is expected of a Muslim painter. In another drawing from this (Maqamah), we notice the presence of strange beings that distort the human form and link it to some ancient Mesopotamian myths. After doing research to try to find the origin of these strange beings, the researcher reached the Mesopotamian origin of these figures (Ishtar and the Bird of Spirits), which go back to the Assyrian antiquities with ancient Babylonian roots.

يعدُّ النصُّ بناءً متماسكًا متناسقًا، يرتكز على مقومات لغوية مؤَسَّسة، سواء كانت لفظية أم مقامية، تتضافر كل عناصره في صورة متسقة منسجمة، لتحقيق المراد والمقصود الدلالي. ويعد التوازي اللغوي مقومًا مُهِمًّا من تلك المقومات، تتفاوت النصوص في توظيفها وفق الوظيفة الإبلاغية التداولية المقصودة، وهي ظاهرة ماثلة بجلاء في المقامة الجاحظية للهمذاني، أراد منها بأسلوبه البلاغي الكشف عن بعض خصائص أسلوب الجاحظ المقتصر على النثر، لا الشعر. وانطلاقًا من البنى التركيبية المتوازية باعتبارها فضاءً حاضنًا للتوازيات الإيقاعية الصوتية والصرفية والدلالية، فقد صُنفت أنساق التوازي، وحُلِّلت نصيًّا وفق قيمها اللغوية: البنائية الشكلية الجمالية، والربطية التماسكية، والانسجامية الاتساقية الدلالية، وتمثلت أشكال التوازيات التركيبية الحاضنة في المركبات غير الإسنادية: الوصفية، والمجرورة بالحرف وبالإضافة، والمركبات الإسنادية: الاسمية، والفعلية، البسيط منها، والمركب، والممتد، والمتداخل. وقد تفاعلت في فضاء هذه المركبات توازنات صوتية، منها: الجناس والسجع والتكرار؛ وتوازنات صرفية تماثلت فيها صيغ للأفعال والأسماء؛ وتوازنات بلاغية كالتشبيه والاستعارة والكناية؛ وتوازيات دلالية رابطة للفقر المتوازية، تقوم على علاقات الترادف والطباق والمقابلة والاقتران والتناسب والتفسير.

The Directorate General of Fine Arts of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey organized a “Competition for Compositions in Infrequently-Used Maqams and Usuls” with November 1, 2005 as the deadline of applications, and the competition ended with the awards ceremony in April 2006. Almost 500 composers applied with their compositions in 50 infrequently-used maqams determined by a board, and a total of 50 works from six groups received awards. The organizing institution emphasized that the objectives of the competition were to bring those 50 identified maqams to light, to encourage composers to compose works in these maqams, and to enrich the repertory of maqamic music.Grouped by their tonics and çeşni’s, only two of these 50 maqams were şed (transposed) maqams. One was Rûhnevâz, the transposed maqam of Bûselik, with the tonic in Hüseynîaşîran, and the other was Reng-i Dil, the transposed maqam of Neveser, with the tonic in Acemaşîran. This article seeks to explain why so few compositions have been made in the maqams Rûhnevâz and Reng-i Dil, which are compared for similarities and differences with other maqams that use the same scales in the context of maqamic analysis and transpositions, as well as the originality of these maqams. Bir tanesi Hüseynîaşîran perdesi kararlı Buselik makamı şeddi Rûhnevâz diğeri ise, Acemaşîran perdesi kararlı Neveser makamı şeddi olan Reng-i Dil’dir. Maqamat adalah tingkatan seorang hamba dihadapan Allah dalam hal ibadah dan latihan-latihan (riyaḍah) jiwa yang dilakukannya. Maqamat juga terdapat dalam kitab Salalim Al-Fuḍala karya Syekh Nawawi Al-Bantani. Keberadaan maqamat sangat penting dalam perjalanan spiritual seorang salik untuk bisa sampai kepada Allah dan menjadi kekasih-Nya. Dengan latar belakang tersebut, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1). mengetahui konsep maqamat Syekh Nawawi al Bantani dalam kitab Salalim Al-Fuḍala; 2). mengetahui maqam-maqam yang terdapat dalam Kitab Salalim Al-Fuḍala. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Syekh Nawawi Al-Bantani memahami maqamat sebagai sebuah wasiat yang harus dijaga dan diamalkan oleh seorang salik. Sedangkan maqamat menurut Syekh Nawawi Al-Bantani dalam kitab Salalim Al-Fuḍala’ adalah tahapan-tahapan yang harus dilalui oleh seorang salik untuk sampai kepada Allah dan menjadi kekasih-Nya dengan cara menjaga dan mengamalkan sembilan wasiat. Sembilan wasiat tersebut menurutnya adalah taubat, qana’ah, zuhud, belajar ilmu syari’at, menjaga ibadah sunnah, tawakal, ikhlas, uzlah, dan menjaga waktu. Selain itu, ada tiga macam maqam yang ditawarkan Syekh Nawawi Al-Bantani dalam kitab Salalim al-Fuḍala yang tidak terdapat dalam macam-macam maqam para tokoh sufi lainnya. Ketiga macam tersebut antara lain; belajar ilmu syari’at, menjaga ibadah sunnah, dan menjaga waktu. Sehingga ketiga tersebut akhirnya menambah jumlah maqamat yang ada dalam disiplin ilmu tasawuf, dimana ketiga maqam tersebut tidak ditemukan dalam konsep maqamat para tokoh sufi lainnya.

Abstract:
Novel (riwayah) is categorized as a genre of modern Arabic literature. The birth of this genre has something to do with the revival period of Arabic in general. Yet the pre-natal of this new genre in Arab world is left undiscussed. This research aims at disclosing the birth of Arabic novel. It is found that Egypt has been the center of the labor of this genre. Its pre-natal period is marked by the translation of the Western literature and the resurrection of the genre of maqamah. There are some arguments on the situation and condition of the pre-natal of the Arabic novel. First, it was imported from the west. The second argument is that novel is indigenous genre, and the third is that novel is rooted from both classical Arabic and modern Western world.

From the past to the 21st century, Turkish music has been enriched by theorists and performers with improvements and developments in the field of maqam, composition, instrumental and spoken words, and transferred from generation to generation through written sources. It is known from the written sources that the composers of the period invented new maqams, composed works in these maqams, and some of these works reached the 21st century, both on the victories of the sultans of the period and on the joy of the people for the conquered lands. It is a well-known fact that the number of works is high in the maqams that are widely used in Turkish music and the number of works is low in the maqams that are less used. It can be said that if the less used maqams are not brought to light, it will be inevitable to forget the theoretical and practical aspects. For this reason, in this study, the analysis of the works in the Feth-i Belgrad maqam, which is one of the less used maqams, and the theoretical structure of the maqam are discussed. Two works in the maqam of Feth-i Belgrad mentioned in the Turkish Art Music Repertoire of the TRT Music Department were examined and the analysis of the maqam direction according to the Arel Theory was carried out. As a result of the analysis, the characteristic elements and features of the maqam were determined and an instrumental artifact was composed in order to exemplify the Feth-i Belgrad maqam.

Abstract:
The article is devoted to researching Islamic professional oral music. Maqam is the most high form of this, its conception is spiritual catharsis. Maqam is a chain of ascending parts, each of them elaborating on the main theme of the music. It progresses to a culmination and then descends to the cuitial stage. Maqam’s spiritual contents are the sorrow of love in the form of improvisation first of all, but also songs and dances. Maqam unites dramatic and lyrical characters. Every maqam has its own semantic canon, which is actualized by means of the deepest research of human feelings. Semantic and structure canons connect with the performer’s liberty in emotional detail. Maqam represents a peculiar type of authority (not in absolute form of composer’s art) and is based on classical orient poetry. The highest form of maqam is instrumental (without singing), which expresses the character of its singing-instrumental “parent”. The maqam’s performers must have a special complement of musical abilities and study in music empirient schools. It is necessary to mark particular antithesises, which illustrate a “emotion–ratio” relation in macam’s dramaturgy: passionate contents and strict verified form; originality and canon; euphoria and self-control of a performer; melody and polyphony (instruments imitate singing). Maqam represents a penetrating, “endless” melody with its ability to develop. The elite character of maqam’s genesis and contemporary democracy of the genre are explored, as well as the relations between two forms of maqam: maqam-tune and maqam-genre.

Sheikh Abū Ṭālib al-Makkī was a scholar of Sufism respected in the Islamic world. His work, Qūt al-Qulūb, is a major source of reference to sages of the past and present. Many Islamic scholars use Maqamāt al-Aḥwāl's theory as a module and rehabilitation guideline for a number of diseases that affect the human soul. Paedophilia, according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual Disorder (DSM-5) falls into a category of mental disorders, with some experts considering paedophiles as being mentally insane. In this regard, the main objective of this study was to analyse the implementation of maqām al-ṣabr (stage of patience), according to al-Makkī, as a concept of paedophilia rehabilitation psychotherapy. Using qualitative methods, this study found maqām al-ṣabr to be a crucial element in the recovery from paedophilia. Therefore, this article hopes to integrate the elements of patiencee stage with rehabilitation psychotherapy to develop one of the best treatment modules in the rehabilitation of paedophilia in Malaysia. ABSTRAK: Syeikh Abū Ṭālib al-Makkī merupakan ulama tasawuf yang disegani dunia Islam, malah karyanya Qūt al-Qulūb menjadi sumber utama golongan sufi mutaqaddimīn dan muta’akhkhirīn. Sebahagian besar sarjana Islam menggunakan teori maqamat al-Ahwal sebagai modul dan rehab untuk beberapa penyakit melibatkan kejiwaan manusia. Pedofilia pula menurut Diagnostic and Statistical Manual Disorder (DSM-5) termasuk dalam kategori gangguan mental, malah sebahagian pakar menganggap pedofil sebagai orang gila. Sehubungan dengan itu, objektif utama kajian ini untuk menganalisis implementasi maqam sabar menurut al-Makkī sebagai konsep psikoterapi pemulihan pedofilia. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif, kajian ini mendapati maqam sabar antara elemen penting dalam pemulihan pedofilia. Justeru artikel ini diharap dapat menyatupadukan elemen maqam sabar dan psikoterapi pemulihan, sekali gus menjadi satu modul rawatan yang terbaik dalam pemulihan ketagihan seksual golongan pedofilia di Malaysia.

Maqamat is the plural form of the word maqam, which literally means rank or degree. In English, maqamat is referred to as stations or stages. Meanwhile, according to the terms of the science of Sufism, maqamat is the position of a servant before Allah, which is obtained through worship, mujahadat and other things, spiritual training and (relationship) that is not broken with Allah SWT. According to Al-Thusi's view, namely: "Ahwal is a state of the heart that always makes remembrance, and it is not seen from the methodology of mujahadah and exercises as previously mentioned. Ahwal is like: feeling watched by Allah SWT, feeling close to Allah SWT, feeling of love, fear, hope, longing, calm, confident and others". The types of Maqamat are divided into 9, among others: Al-Taubah, AlIstiqomah, Al-Wara', Al-Zuhd, Al-Faqr, Al-Shabr, Al-Tawakkal, Al-Rida, and Al -Mahabbah. While the types of Ahwal are divided into 8, namely: AlMuhasabah & al-Muroqobah (alert & introspective), Al-'Isyq (longing), Al-Uns (intimate), Thuma'ninah, Musyahadah, Yaqin, Mahabbah, Raja' and Khauf.

This research is entitled “The Reflection Of Salik Maqaamat In The Content Of Maly Jaziri’s Poems”. It is an attempt to exhibit an aspect associated with Sufism. This respect is depicted in Salik’s Maqaamat. In the world of Sufism, the practitioner, who seeks to find the truth, must attain some stages which are called Maqaamat. The maqaamat should be reflected in the personality of the practitioner. This research lays emphasis on the nature and property of Salik within the framework of Sufism in general and Islamic Mysticism. Having presented Jaziri as a Salik, the research analyzes the poems which possess the properties of being a Salik. The quantity and quality of the reflection of maqaamat in Jaziri’s poems are presented. After highlighting the conclusions of the research, references, Arabic and English abstracts are presented. Mempelajari ilmu tasawuf bukanlah hal yang sesat, karena banyak orang mengira bahwa mempelajari ilmu tasawuf itu sesat, melainkan mempelajari ilmu tersebut juga meneladani kehidupan Rasulullah saw yang sederhana. Disini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang mana juga memperbanyak refrensi dari berbagai jurnal yang terbit, yang mana dengan menggunakan metode ini bisa menyimpulkan sejarah, perkembangan dan maqam maqam yang ada dalam ilmu tasawuf, dalam menjalani sebagai seorang sufisme perlu menempuh beberapa maqamat antara lain: taubat, zuhud, wara’, khauf, raja’ dan lain sebagainya. Untuk orang yang bersungguh sungguh dalam mengamalkan ilmu tasawuf, maka tidak di ragukan lagi bahwasanya orang tersebut hanya bergantung kepada Allah swt, dan tidak akan lagi prasangka buruk kepada sang pencipta, karena kuatnya iman, ketaqwaannya menghasilkan dirinya merasa dekat dengan Allah swt dan merasa betul bahwa ia sedang dalam pengawasan sang pencipta.

For the results of this study that Sufism is a pattern of Sufism Sufism whose teachings go back to the Qur'an and Sunnah. Maqam and hal are a way to achieve the ideal of the Sufis. Through the process of purification of the soul against the tendency of matter to return to the light of God. When God manifests himself in the soul and clean heart of man in both His majesty and beauty, a person will love the manifestation and feel certain joys, heart feels close (qurb), love (mahabbah), raja’ , serenity and sense sure.These mental conditions are called ahwal. The Quran is a great miracle that was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, to the point that every letter in the Quran is rewarded for reciting Muslims who believe in it. Reading using the art of melody belongs to a branch of the sciences of the Quran that cannot be separated. When reading the Quran, this art has had a profound impact on the hearts of the nation if it is read with good and correct rules. The art of reciting the Quran existed in the time of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of God be upon him, and now it has spread throughout the world. There are different names for the art of reciting the Quran, including the science of Quranic maqamat. This science - the science of Quranic maqamat - is also well-known and famous in Indonesia, and there are many Islamic institutes that make the science of maqamat their main curriculum, including the Bait al-Qurra’ Institute in Jakarta. As for the method of teaching the science of the Qur’an, it is diverse and evolves with time until knowing the Qur’an’s positions has become easier for everyone to learn. This research follows the qualitative analytical method by collecting data through personal interviews and referring to original and secondary sources. One of the results of the research is knowledge of the history of Quranic maqam science in the Malay Archipelago, especially Indonesia. Then the readers must not deviate from the rules of intonation and the exits of the letters. Therefore, it is important for readers to improve the rules of tajweed before learning the science of Quranic maqamat.

In the process of suluk in order to get to God, there are things called maqamat and ahwal. The Sufis of course have different opinions about the number and order of the maqamat itself, and sometimes they have different opinions about something that is obtained by a salik. Is it called maqam or thing? Like the mahabbah, in terms of the definition and distribution of the mahabbah itself, it is also slightly different from one Sufi figure to another. Mahabbah in the Sufi world was first introduced by a female Sufi, namely Rabi'ah al-'Adawiyah. However, in this article, the author will explore the concept of mahabbah according to al-Qushairi. One of the reasons this research is interested in al-Qushairi is that there is still no research related to al-Qushairi's thoughts on the concept of mahabbah. This research is library research. Where the literature data found were reviewed using descriptive analysis. The results of this study are that mahabbah according to al- Qushairi is the nature of God's will related to His desire to specialize a servant with closeness and a high degree. Al-Qushairi divides mahabbah into two, namely the mahabbah of Allah to His servants and the mahabbah of the servant to Allah. As one of the conditions for a salik to be able to occupy the maqam mahabbah, he is not allowed to place or pour out his mahabbah to fellow mahluqs. Because it will result in the failure of a salik to get clarity, peace, and enjoyment of his mahabbah to Allah.

تعدُّ مقامات الحريري وبديع الزمان الهمذاني من أبرز الأمثلة للنثر الفني في العصر العباسي التي تشرح قصة سلوك وأفعال شخصيتين خياليتين بإسم حارث بن همام و عيسي بن هشام كرواة هذه القصص وأبو زيد سروجي وأبوالفتح إسكندري كأبطالها. المقامة البصرية من المقامات التي لها عنوان مشترك في كلا المقامين، وتصف الأحداث التي تجري في مدينة البصرة لشخصيات القصة. يهدف هذا البحث إلى استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لدراسة هاتين المقامتين بطريقة موازنة ودراسة القواسم المشتركة والاختلافات بينهما. مسرحيتان تحملان عنواناً واحداً وفي إحداهما مشهد المسرحية هو «مسجد البصرة» وفي الاخرى هو «المربد». الغرض من الدراسة الموازنة لهاتين المقامتين هو إظهار القواسم المشتركة والاختلاف بينهما ومن خلالها قمنا بمدى تأثير كاتبي المقامات يعني الحريري والهمذاني من الآخر. تظهر نتائج البحث أن المسجد والمربد كان لهما دور مهم في النثر الفني للمقامات، ومن خلال موازنة هاتين المقامتين، يمكن دراسة وجهات نظر همداني والحريري المختلفة. Maqamat al-Hariri and Badi’ al-Zaman al-Hamadhani are among the most prominent examples of artistic prose in the Abbasid era that explain the story of the behavior and actions of two fictional characters in the name of Harith bin Hammam and Issa bin Hisham as the narrators of these stories, and Abu Zaid Srouji and Abu al-Fath Iskandri as its heroes. Al-Maqama Al- basriyah is one of the Maqamat that has a common title in both places, and it describes the events that take place in the city of Basra for the characters of the story. This research aims to use the descriptive analytical method to study these two denominators in a way that balances and study the commonalities and differences between them. Two plays bearing the same title, in one of them the scene of the play is “Basra Mosque” and in the other is “Al-Mirbad”.The purpose of the balancing study of these two Maqamat is to show the commonalities and differences between them, and through it we have examined the extent of the influence of the two Maqamat writers, i.e. Hariri and Hamadhani, from the other. The results of the research show that the mosque and Al-Murbad played an important role in the artistic prose of the shrines, and by balancing these two shrines, it is possible to study the different views of Hamadhani and Hariri.

Maqamat art was one type of Abbasiyah prose that experienced rapid development, with Badiuzzaman al-Hamdani as a figure whose maqamat work consist of human values. Maqamat is a short story that contains the events of the main characters narrated by certain narrators. The language style is mostly in the form of 'and badi' and ends with advice.This study purposes to describe the characteristics in Badiuzzaman al-Hamdani’s Maqamat and explain human values in Badiuzzaman al-Hamdani’s Maqamat. Data collection is conducted with documentations and heuristic techniques and analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study explain: 1) Five characteristics in Badiuzzaman al-Hamdani’s Maqamat consist of themes, characterizations, plot, background and point of view, and 2) Moral values portrayed in Badiuzzaman al-Hamdani’s Maqamat are human values and justice values. The maqam, closely connected at first with the cult-ritual practice, absorbed and reflected philosophical and ethical ideas. These ideas, fixed in the system of maqams, despite their clear canonization, changed; they underwent a certain historical transformation due to changes in the social structure of society itself. However, the main aesthetic function of the maqam, the nature of its emotional and psychological impact on a person, a deep connection with the world around him, remained in the view of Eastern thinkers and musicians unshakable until the XX century. Today, macs should be understood on the one hand as a paradigmatic structure, on the other hand, as a compositional form. The subtlest gradation of human feelings, emotional and psychological states also determined a carefully developed (theoretically) mode, intonation, pitch system of images, symbols, signs, their connection with specific manifestations of spiritual experiences and emotional states. Certain universal principles of musical dramaturgy are observed in the makam, based on diverse contrast: fret, timbre-register, dynamic, vocal-instrumental, rhythmic. These internal contrasts are infinitely diverse, but they are outlined so subtly, barely perceptible. Instrumental and vocal-instrumental music in Islamic culture was mainly an environment of professional musicians who mastered the art of maqam thinking. Makam represented the unity of the theory of performing practice for musicians.

Recently, there have been many applications or features for interpreting the Qur'an in electronic media, such as the E-Pen. One application or feature of the interpretation of the Qur'an that is quite good is the Grand Maqamat Mushaf. This Grand Maqamat Mushaf offers many quite sophisticated features in reading and recitation. This article aims to examine and explore the Grand Maqamat Mushaf, its features, presentation of interpretations, and also its advantages and disadvantages. Using descriptive-analytical analysis of McLuhan's theory, the researchers concluded that the Talking Pen Mushaf Grand Maqamat has several features to make it easier to read, understand, and learn the Qur'an features such as translation, interpretation, the reason for the revelation (asbāb an-nuzūl) of the Qur'an, and related hadiṡ. In addition, Pen Mushaf Grand Maqamat is also equipped with readings from various stations, making it easier for Qori to learn to distinguish tones or sounds from several stations. However, it should also be noted that any sophisticated technology has advantages or disadvantages.

<p>This study discusses the phases that human beings must go through to achieve a noble degree in the sight of God. In Sufism, this topic is known as <em>maqamat</em> and <em>ahwal</em>. <em>Maqamat</em> is the spiritual position, that is, the existence of a person in the way of Allah by trying to practice the deeds to be closer to Allah. While <em>ahwal</em> is a condition or spiritual circumstance within heart bestowed by God because of the intensity of the <em>dhikr</em> (remembering God). To reach the highest level (ma'rifatullah), it can not be reached in a way that is easy and short time. Man must try to empty himself from sin and fill it with good deeds. For only with a holy soul, God gives much of His knowledge. This paper aims to describe and analyze the stages of human spirituality in the book of a classic Sufi figure, Abu Nasr Al-Sarraj. Through inner experience, Sarraj formulated the concept of being close to God. This thought is based on the social conditions of society at that time concerning with material matters rather than spiritual ones. Therefore, the question is how the spiritual phases should be achieved by Al-Sarraj? To answer this question, the researcher uses a qualitative method by examining the text and analyzing it to find the sequences of phases. The result of this research is that Al Sarraj formulates 7 levels of <em>maqam</em> and 9 levels <em>ahwal.</em> Humans who can run the phase are classified into Insan Kamil (perfect human) because there is no distance between him and God.</p>

“Hariri’s Maqamat” is one of the most prominent and sophisticated books of Arabic literature in the Middle Ages that has been influential in the formation of novel stories in world literature. Apart from the beauty of the style, literary tune and various educational aspects, it presents social life and human behavior in the Arab world of the Middle Age in terms of a visually narrative format. Hariri’s Maqamat is a long illustrated story in Baghdad School which has been composed by Hariri and then illustrated by Mahmoud al-Wasiti. Al-Wasiti’s miniature paintings provide a lot of visual information about people’s behavior and their environment. This research aims at understanding social criticism scheme in that time by cooperation of text and image. Accordingly, several Maqamat and miniatures, which included more social information, were selected and considered using descriptive analysis technique. The results showed that al-Wasiti has clearly discovered Hariri's social critical viewpoint behind the complex language and emphasized that idea. He has also added some information which it would not be easily understandable by a reader of Maqamat book without applying pictures.

”The history of Qur’anic Exegesis shows that there is a pattern of interpretation of the Qur’an that originates not only from reasoning (ta'aqquli), but also from spiritual emanations (at'ta'ammul ad-diniyyah). The importance of understanding the exegetical patterns/models driven by the Sufis, in order to become a better alternative to the patterns of understanding/interpreting the Qur’an. This article will conduct an analysis with a focus on: Sufi interpretation; scientific analysis and religious appreciation, discourse of meaning in Sufi interpretation, and patterns/models of al-Qusyairi's Sufistism interpretation. The research framework used is Abdullah Saeed's hierarchy of values to read the hierarchy of meaning of the Sufi al-Qusyairi interpretation. The findings of this research include: Sufi interpretation is a tafir based on knowledge (knowledge) and the depth of Islamic charity (experience). Al-Qusyair Sufi interpretation is elaborates between knowledge and Islamic spiritual experience. In the discourse of meaning, Sufi interpretation is based on the condition of the Sufi soul at different states (ahwal) and spiritual levels (maqamat). However, mystical perception of the Qur’an must come to terms with its birth meaning. The Sufistic interpretation of al-Qusyairi can combine the meaning of isyariyyah with the meaning of lahiriah verse. Al-Qusyairi understands that the contents of the Koran have three levels of meaning according to the level of maqa>m in the concept of tasawwuf, namely: 'irfani, burhani and bayani.

This research aims to determine and analyze the financial reports prepared by the Modern Maqamam Mahmuda Takengon Islamic boarding school and their conformity with the Islamic Boarding School Accounting Guidelines issued by Bank Indonesia and the Indonesian Accountants Association. This research is a type of case study research using a qualitative approach. The data sources used are primary and secondary data with data collection techniques using triangulation techniques consisting of interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the Miles and Huberman model which consists of data reduction stages, data presentation, and concluding. The results indicate that the Maqamam Mahmuda Takengon Modern Islamic Boarding School has not prepared financial reports. The Maqamam Mahmuda Takengon Modern Islamic Boarding School only records cash receipts and disbursements. It is due to the lack of human resources owned by this Islamic boarding school and their ignorance of the Islamic Boarding School Accounting Guidelines as a reference in preparing their financial reports.

Abstract “Reynard the Fox” and the Maqamat al-Hamadhani demonstrate the emergence of satire and subversion as important themes in medieval allegories. The authors of both texts utilized the trickster-protagonist to portray dualism in society—especially right versus wrong. In both stories, the trickster figures have two roles: as protagonists and as villains. Both medieval allegories criticize the hypocrisy of their societies, in which mediocrity was praised and excellence was ignored. “Reynard the Fox” and the Maqamat al-Hamadhani are forms of constructive social criticism that readers desperately need today. An analysis of “Reynard the Fox” and the Maqamat al-Hamadhani contributes to a deeper understanding of the historical and cultural contexts in which these works emerged, as well as of the literary techniques employed to convey their satirical messages. Hopefully, this article will enrich the study of medieval literature by providing valuable insights into the role of satire and subversion in allegorical narratives.

Insan kamil is an urgent concept to be understood and imitated for humans who want to achieve human perfection and even make it a way of life. However, there are various paradigms that differ in understanding and achieving the degree of insan kamil itself. This study aims to explain a method or method in achieving the degree of insan kamil through the maqamat of monotheism of Muhammad Nafis al-Banjari, which is contained in the book of ad-Durrun Nafis. This study uses a qualitative model with the type of literature study research with content analysis methods. The results of this study indicate that people who have undergone maqamat-maqamat tauhid will arrive at fanna fillah and baqa fillah where, when a servant has achieved it, will be classified as a perfect human being. This study concludes that the concept of insan kamil is very important to understand, because in reaching the insan kamil a salik will go through the stations of monotheism where the fruit of doing this will be able to see the essence of all events in this universe to avoid actions. the bad one.

My study sought to attempt to show the image of society through this art, and to reveal the extent of its representation of the Abbasid society (358 - 516 AH) by both Al-Hamathani and Al-Hariri by addressing many images that represent the system of values of the community’s citizens in the walks of life, including joys and sorrows. And since the Maqamat between Al-Hamathani and Hariri were a reflection of all that, the time separating between them revealed to us many changes and transformations that were evident among the Maqamat. The study concluded that the Maqamat of both Al-Hamthani and Al-Hariri included a great deal of elucidation of the various images from the life of the public for a specific group of the community in their times by monitoring many of those images that came as a mirror that reflects the system of values and the customs, traditions and rituals they hold between them which were common along their time. That era prevailed over the span of their time as they were considered a rich historical record, and their participation in dealing with some of these prevailing customs, traditions and social aspects.

Makaleye konu olan yazma eser, Fransa Millî Kütüphanesi (Paris Bibliothèque Nationale)’inde bulunan Arabe 5847 envanter numaralı nüshâdır. Vâsıtî, Makâmât’ı istinsâh ettiğinde, hat ve tasvirlerle eseri benzersiz bir hale getirmiştir. O sebeple Vâsıtî Makâmât’ı tabiri de kullanılmaktadır. Bu yazma eser, boş sayfalar haricince (8 ön ve 8 arka kapak sayfası) 167 varaktan oluşmaktadır. Kitabın dili Arapça’dır ve elli kısa öyküden oluşur. Bir edebî tür olan makâme tarzında; mensur, seci (nesir içinde kafiye) ve manzum olarak kaleme alınan eserin içeresinde, Vâsıtî’nin çizdiği toplam 99 görsel/minyatür bulunmaktadır. Çizimlerin; tarz, renk kullanımı, mekân algısı ve olay örgüsü dikkate alındığında, tek bir nakkâşın elinden çıktığı anlaşılmaktadır. Bu 99 görselin içerisinde, görünürde enstrümanların olduğu ve müzikal bir faaliyet içeren 4 görsel belirlenmiştir. Görsellerin varak numaraları Fransa Millî Kütüphanesi veri tabanında olduğu şekliyle verilmiştir. Belirlenen bu görsellere, makâme sırası ve hikâyenin geçtiği konumlar dikkate alınarak başlıklar verilmiştir. Görsellerde, genellikle bir sahne üzerinde duran kalabalık resmedildiği için makâme yerine meclis kelimesini kullanmak uygun görülmüştür. Müzikal görseller sırasıyla şöyledir: Berkâid (7. Meclis), Şam (12. Meclis), Kat’iyye (24. Meclis) ve Remle (31. Meclis). Her görsel, orijinal nüshadan gözlemlenerek ve Makâmât’ı retorik ve dil bilimsel olarak inceleyen Makamat or Rhetorical Anecdotes of al-Hariri of Basri (1850), The Assemblies of Harîrî (1867) ve Assemblies of al Harîri (1897) üç ayrı eserden faydalanarak analiz edilmiştir. Vâsıtî’nin çizdiği müzikal görsellerle, Makâmât’taki metinler karşılaştırılmıştır. Bu şekilde görsellerdeki çalgı aletlerinin yanı sıra çalgı aletlerinin hangi mekânlarda ve hangi amaçla kullanıldıklarına yönelik bir fikir edinmek amaçlanmıştır. That is why, alike the arab Countries, literature of this genre has necessarily been incorporated in the syllabus of the Madaris and Universities of Bangladesh, Pakistan and India. Keeping with this, I have tried to portray every enterprise to focus on haw the learners of a language may develop a faculty of Arabic words while reading this literature.

Ibn Taimiyyah is known as give acute criticism to behavior and thought of popular Sufism which considered contrary with Qur'an and al-Hadith. But the true one, Ibn Taimiyyah did not attack all precepts Sufi, and he still acknowledged the existence of Sufism itself. Thus, Ibn Taimiyyah certainly admit the validity experimental method of Sufism, but he suggested that Sufism also use external validity to test the truth of concept. External validity that mean is precept that exists in Islamic. This research is literature. The data unearthed in this study is the thoughts and views in the opus of Ibn Taimiyyah as the object of this research. The result of this study is Ibn Taimiyyah's view about Sufism reveals that Sufism is an extension of the Islamic religion which normatively must be derived from Qur'an and Sunnah also historically applicative should revert to example of companions. Some of ibn Taimiyyah's writings talk about deeply Sufism are already covered in the classical book Majmu' al-Fatawa which is a collection writings from Ibn Taimiyyah.

Akulturasi spiritualitas Islam dalam bentuk sikap merupakan bahasan yang mendalam oleh para ahli tasawuf. Bahasan tersebut menyangkut maqamat (tingkat pendakian rohani) dan al-ahwal (keadaan batin). Pembentukan sikap spiritual peserta didik bagi sebuah lembaga pendidikan merupakan sebuah tantangan tersendiri dengan belum adanya konsep yang tepat dari pemerintah selaku policy maker kurikulum pendidikan nasional. Tulisan ini merupakan sebuah penelitian yang berusaha mengkaji teori dan praktek pembentukan sikap spiritual guna mencari konsep yang tepat dalam pembentukan sikap spiritual peserta didik pada umumnya dan santri pada khususnya. Obyek penelitian ini adalah Pondok Pesantren Assalafi Al Fithrah (PAF) Surabaya yang memiliki program “wazifah”, suatu istilah untuk amaliah siang dan malam hari serta kegiatan-kegiatan lain diluar program pembelajaran kelas yang telah ditetapkan oleh KH. Achmad Asrori al-Ishaqy yang harus diikuti oleh semua santri untuk dijalankan secara istikamah. Dari data penilitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa konsep wazifah PAF merupakan konsep yang holistik. Semua pelaksanaan wazifah oleh santri PAF akan bermuara pada satu titik, yakni “sidq al-tawajjuh” yang ini merupakan roh dari tasawuf dan tarekat. Wazifah yang dijalankan oleh santri PAF adalah juga suatu metode untuk menghasilkan yakin dalam diri yang ini merupakan penghantar untuk melanjutkan perjalanan spiritual dalam pendakian maqamat dalam dunia tasawuf-tarekat. Implementasi wazifah PAF merupakan implementasi konsep maqamat KH. Achmad Asrori al-Ishaqy. Dengan pelaksanaan wazifah secara istikamah santri akan terlatih spiritualitasnya, hingga sikap spiritual dapat terbentuk.
