Abstract It is proved that for an IC abundant semigroup (a primitive abundant semigroup; a primitively semisimple semigroup) S and a field K, if K 0[S] is right (left) self-injective, then S is a finite regular semigroup. This extends and enriches the related results of Okniński on self-injective algebras of regular semigroups, and affirmatively answers Okniński’s problem: does that a semigroup algebra K[S] is a right (respectively, left) self-injective imply that S is finite? (Semigroup Algebras, Marcel Dekker, 1990), for IC abundant semigroups (primitively semisimple semigroups; primitive abundant semigroups). Moreover, we determine the structure of K 0[S] being right (left) self-injective when K 0[S] has a unity. As their applications, we determine some sufficient and necessary conditions for the algebra of an IC abundant semigroup (a primitively semisimple semigroup; a primitive abundant semigroup) over a field to be semisimple.

O artigo retoma a apresentação da circulação de objetos e pessoas em Marcel Mauss e indica que não só algum grau de inalienabilidade está nela presente, como tem sido reconhecido pela antropologia, mas também de alienabilidade, condição da comunicação. Dados o futuro do estado e a disseminação das relações de mercado, importa desvendar continuidades lógicas e históricas entre dom e mercadoria, que, argumento, estão em relação de transformação e de hierarquia. Mauss e K. Marx, cada um a seu modo, revelam especificidades da troca capitalista: Marx o aspecto ideológico da igualdade desta troca como falsa consciência, Mauss sua desigualdade e a inclusão nela mesma de formas não capitalistas de redistribuição, especialmente a previdência (privada e estatal), como compensações. Há assim complementariade tanto entre dom e mercadoria como entre Mauss e Marx. Este mostra ser o trabalho mercadoria, Mauss um dom, sacrificio: o trabalhador dá de si. Há uma teoria do valor implicita na teoria de Mauss do dom como inalienável, que deve ser considerada em relação à critica de Marx da alienação do trabalhador no modo de produção capitalista.

Abstract:

Making the sociology of the body as an independent scientific discipline based on the work of the French social anthropology. Problematization of physicality in anthropology actually begins with the category of “techniques of the body”. This concept was first introduced in the scientific turnover by the French anthropologist and ethnographer Marcel moss. Described techniques are based on extensive ethnographic material on the basis of which he formulates two basic classifications. After Moss, the category of “techniques of the body” continues to develop his student Andre Leroy-Gourhan and exploring physicality through the lens of instrumentality. This article also presents a description of the work “Techniques of the body” by French ethnologist K. Levi-Stross and his overall assessment of the work of M. moss, with personal additions and comments.As previously indicated, the problematization of the “body”, founded by M. moss in anthropology, became the Foundation for building theories that work with physicality and in other disciplines. In the present work shows the transition on an interdisciplinary level. It is associated with the figure of the French philosopher, historian and sociologist Michel Foucault. The body in his concept considers as the object of power. Continuing the tradition established by its predecessors in the mainstream of anthropology, Foucault brings the issue of physicality to a new level, laying the foundations of the sociology of the body.Showing that the body is not just an appendage, but a full-fledged object of study, M. moss not only expanded the subject field of anthropology to include physicality, but also opened the opportunity to develop this category for sociology, linguistics, psychology, history, religion and other disciplines.

Physiol. 82(2): 440–446, 1997.—The purpose of this experiment was to measure, by using13C labeling, the oxidation rate of exogenous lactate (25 g, as Na+, K+, Ca2+, and Mg2+ salts) and glucose (75 g) ingested simultaneously (in 1,000 ml of water) during prolonged exercise (120 min, 65 ± 3% maximum oxygen uptake in 6 male subjects). The percentage of exogenous glucose and lactate oxidized were similar (48 ± 3 vs. 45 ± 5%, respectively). However, because of the small amount of oral lactate that could be tolerated without gastrointestinal discomfort, the amount of exogenous lactate oxidized was much smaller than that of exogenous glucose (11.1 ± 0.5 vs. 36.3 ± 1.3 g, respectively) and contributed to only 2.6 ± 0.4% of the energy yield (vs. 8.4 ± 1.9% for exogenous glucose). The cumulative amount of exogenous glucose and lactate oxidized was similar to that observed when 100 g of [13C]glucose were ingested (47.3 ± 1.8 vs. 50.9 ± 1.2 g, respectively). When [13C]glucose was ingested, changes in the plasma glucose13C/12C ratio indicated that between 39 and 61% of plasma glucose derived from exogenous glucose. On the other hand, the plasma glucose13C/12C ratio remained unchanged when [13C]lactate was ingested, suggesting no prior conversion into glucose before oxidation.

The article is devoted to the acquaintance of French critics with the philosophy of Lev Shestov, who emigrated from Russia in 1919. Shestov’s ideas almost immediately resonate with French readers and over the course of several years the philosopher gains some fame; he is perceived as one of the most important figures of modern original Russian thought, comparable in importance to M. de Unamuno in Spain and J. de Gaultier in France. Shestov makes acquaintances with French and European intellectuals (J. Rivière, J. de Gaultier, L. Levy-Bruhl and others), collaborates with reputable French magazines “Mercure de France”, “La Nouvelle Revue française”, “La Revue philosophique de la France et de l’étranger”. Shestov has disciples and followers: B. de Schloezer, G. Bataille, B. Fondane, R. Bespaloff, A. Lazarev etc. The most important for his followers is the philosopher’s appeal to the personalities of thinkers and writers, and not to their ideas; “peregrination through the souls” as a philosophical method; the inextricable link between philosophy and life; criticism to reason and morality; religious orientation and others. Shestov’s ideas become one of the sources of existentialism of A. Camus, works of A. Malraux and G. Marcel. Shestov and Fondane separate the philosophy of tragedy, identified with religious existential philosophy in the spirit of S. Kierkegaard, B. Pascal, F.M. Dostoevsky and M. Luther, from the existentialism of M. Heidegger, K. Jaspers and others.
