En 1690, la compañía teatral de Manuela de Escamilla dio al menos 100 representaciones en la Casa de Comedias de Cádiz. Entre las obras que estrenaron en la ciudad se encontraba <i>La gran comedia de Pedro de Urdemalas, </i>cuya copia fue realizada por Bartolomé de Robles para María de Escamilla. In 1690, Manuela de Escamilla's theatre company gave at least 100 performances at the Casa de Comedias in Cádiz. Among the plays they premiered in the city was La gran comedia de Pedro de Urdemalas, a copy of which was made by Bartolomé de Robles for María de Escamilla.

En marzo de 1653, la compañía teatral de Antonio de Escamilla firmaba un contrato en Valladolid por el que se comprometía a dar sesenta representaciones en el corral de comedias El Coliseo de Sevilla, las cuales tendrían lugar desde mediados de noviembre de ese año hasta las Carnestolendas de 1654. In March 1653, Antonio Escamilla's theater company signed a contract in Valladolid by which it promised to give sixty performances at the playhouse El Coliseo in Sevilla, which would take place from mid-November of that year until the Shrovetide of 1654.
