"E inda inchi foi o copo de vin puro e tumei todin” (POMPEU, p. 135, 2014), um dos trechos finais da tradução de Ana Maria César Pompeu de Acarnenses para o português, ou, como a tradutora afirma já no título do livro, para o “cearensês”, traz para a linguagem do matuto cearense um texto cômico grego. Assim, para compreender o sentido de se ler Aristófanes contemporaneamente, precisamos entender que a produção, reprodução e manutenção de seus textos são imprescindíveis para os estudos da tradução e da cultura grega, pois parte do que se conhece sobre as festividades helênicas só sobrevive pelos textos aristofânicos e suas traduções.

Partindo da importância que as discussões acadêmicas têm reconhecido nos debates sobre a diferença e a alteridade atualmente, este texto pretende con- siderar os modos segundo os quais o riso e a linguagem podem se posicionar socialmente perante tais questões. Para isso, proponho considerações gerais sobre certas dimensões sociais do riso e da linguagem – como formas de afir- mar determinados valores em grupo – e analiso, em seguida, os casos espe- cíficos do uso (ou não) de diferentes variedades linguísticas como modo de suscitar o riso nas traduções de comédias antigas para o português contem- porâneo. Concentro-me nas traduções das seguintes peças de Aristófanes: Acarnenses (traduzida por Ana Maria César Pompeu, em 2014, e por Maria de Fátima de Sousa e Silva, em 1980) e Lisístrata (traduzida por Millôr Fernandes, em 2003; Adriane da Silva Duarte, em 2005; Ana Maria César Pompeu, em 2010; e Trajano Vieira, em 2011). Mais do que fazer avaliações decisivas sobre tais traduções, a proposta do presente texto é fomentar o de- bate sobre a teoria e a prática da tradução de teatro no Brasil, especialmente em sua sempre delicada e difícil tarefa de manifestar o riso pela linguagem, respeitando a diferença e a alteridade.

Abstract:

Abstract. The paper aims to examine the results of an experimental research on the enlarged fruition and “communication” of Pompeii archeological heritage. The main focus of the research were the Suburban Thermal baths in Pompeii, the ancient Roman city buried during the Vesiuvus volcano eruption in 79 a.C. The Suburban Thermal baths are located within the Insula Occidentalis, a wide area at West of the old city of Pompeii. They have been a special entrance to the archeological site since the rediscovery of the ancient city. The Thermal baths area was neglected for a long time, but then it was included in the conservation project for Porta Marina and the superintendence offices, led by Amedeo Maiuri. However, these measures didn’t lead to in-depth, systematic studies, that were to be conducted only during the early ‘2000. Nowadays, new technologies can be helpful to convey the actual value of the big archeological heritage. In fact, they represent a real asset to show any transformation or restoration work, that made the thermal baths a peculiar, stratified artefact. The historical and artistic information have been reinterpreted in a more technological, contemporary language; therefore, the visitor has the opportunity to experience a more conscious and multilayer reading of the Pompeii thermal complex. In addition, in this paper will be examined new opportunities of collection, analysis and information sharing of the case study. A special focus will vert on how the conscious use of new technologies and storytelling may be the key to understand the material and immaterial traces of the Suburban Thermal baths.

In antiquity, the production of sea salt was one of the most important sources of salt. According to Pliny the Elder (NH 31.81), the most common way of obtaining salt was through marine salinae: facticii varia genera, volgaris plurimusque in salinis mari adfuso. There are plenty of textual references to marine salt evaporation ponds: Livy (1.33) reported that Ancus Marcius opened saltworks on the Tiber next to Ostia; Pliny (NH 31.84-87) mentioned a series of examples of such installations distributed throughout the Mediterranean, while Columella (Rust. 10.135) indicated the existence of saltworks at Pompeii, and Cassiodorus (Var. 12.24) spoke of those located near Venice. Passages in Rutilius Namatianus (De red. 475-90) and Manilius (Astr. 5.682-92) are also well known for their explanations of how ancient saltworks operated.

O presente trabalho integra os quadros de uma pesquisa mais ampla, na qual investigamos a trajetória, a militância e os ideais políticos de Raul Pompeia (1863-1895), situando-o no contexto brasileiro do final do século XIX. Enfatizamos, particularmente, a produção cronística de Raul Pompeia para o jornal O Estado de S. Paulo em uma série que o próprio autor intitulou de “Da Capital” e que foi publicada pelo vespertino paulista entre 1891 e 1893. Procuramos compreender, por meio deste trabalho, como a crônica, enquanto gênero na fronteira entre a literatura e a história, opera como um testemunho documental capaz de revelar as tensões políticas de uma época. Abstract: This paper integrates the charts of a larger study in which we investigate the trajectory, the militancy and Raul Pompeia’s political ideals (1863-1895) placing him in the Brazilian context in late nineteenth century. We highlight, particularly, Raul Pompeia’s chronicals for the newspaper “O Estado de São Paulo in a series which the author titled "Da Capital" and was published by an afternoon newspaper from São Paulo between 1891 and 1893. We have tried to understand, through this work, how the chronicle, as a genre on the border between literature and history, works as a documentary witness able to reveal the political tensions of an era. The “Anagrams” of Marie Casimire Sobieski The “Anagrams” of Marie Casimire Sobieski This article concerns the residence in Rome from 1699 to 1714 of Marie Casimire Sobieski, widow of King John III. She belonged to the Accademia dell’Arcadia with occult tradition, and collected cabbalistic manuscripts which today are held in the Jagiellonian Library (Ms 2284). They include numerology predictions (fols. 160r–162v, 194r) described by the queen as “anagrams”. The deciphering of these predictions by replacing the numbers with the corresponding letters of the Latin alphabet enabled the determination of the names and titles of twenty-one persons. The veracity of the deciphering is confirmed by the first two letters of the name which are placed above each numerological representation and by the year of birth of a given person. In addition to Marie Casimire’s son Jakub Ludwik, these are the relatives of the Sobieski family and people related to it by marriage as well as figures of importance to the political life of the end of the 17th and the beginning of the 18th century. It was the abbot Pompeo Scarlatti, the ambassador of Maximilian Emmanuel, Elector of Bavaria, in Warsaw, who made the queen interested in numerology; he accompanied her on her journey to Italy and remained at her court in Rome. Marie Casimire took an interest in numerology predictions after a tragedy in 1704, when her sons Jakub Ludwik and Konstanty were kidnapped and imprisoned by Augustus II, to be released only two years later. However, the majority of these predictions date from the years 1711–1713. Contrary to the tradition of maintaining secrecy, binding at Italian academies, the queen disclosed some of the methods of numerology prophesying; however, except for one case, she did not reveal the content of the prophecies hidden behind the obtained numbers.

AbstractThis study aims at comparing the reliability of different types of apatite fractions for which collagen cannot be dated. We focused on the remains of individuals found at the necropolis of Porta Nocera near Pompeii, and for which the date of burial can be assessed independently. The dated human samples range between 1805±49 and 5570±120 14C yr BP and can display a large (up to 1200 14C yr) intra-individual age variability. We show that while a marine diet or an old-wood effect could explain the smallest age shifts, they are not able to explain the largest ones, and propose diagenesis as the main cause. The 14C depletion is likely due to the influence of the 14C-free CO2 emissions of the nearby Vesuvius volcano and the Campi Flegrei volcanic system on the age of secondary carbonate incorporated into the bone and enamel crystallites during diagenesis. This study demonstrates that in volcanic contexts, a large deviation from expected age can be measured, even in calcined apatites. Our calculations indicate that while the absolute amount of contamination is lower in calcined bones than in burnt bone and enamel apatite, its impact on the 14C age of the sample can be much higher due to the low carbon content of calcined bones.

Towards the end of the eighteenth century, the discovery of Pompeii attracted European aristocrats to include the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies (Southern Italy) on their Grand Tour itinerary. Similarly, Sybaris, an ancient Greek colonial polis also directed aristocratic attention to the region. French painter and engraver Jean-Claude Richard de Saint-Non and his entourage of architects most famously documented the ruinous Sybaris and exported its imagery back to France. In parallel with these developments, interest in recreating sybaritic images within luxurious Picturesque gardens arose. Drawing upon a pair of garden case studies, Monsieur de Monville's Broken Column House (1780–81) at Désert de Retz, Chambourcy, and Queen Marie-Antoinette's hameau (1783) within the Petit Trianon Gardens at Versailles, this paper examines the sybaritic images, their influences and the ethical values of the creators of these gardens. Monville and Marie-Antoinette were, for instance, charged of excess. This paper is concerned with the way in which these sybaritic places were configured and how they encapsulated a mythic Sybaris, and argues that the charges of excess levelled against their creators partly stemmed from the unusual and sybaritic effects to be found at their private entertainment gardens.

In questo articolo affrontiamo la difficile sfida di analizzare filologicamente La Sépulture di Gabriel Marie Legouvé per proporre ai lettori una traduzione italiana della sua elegia. È importante sottolineare che la prima ed unica traduzione del poemetto francese in italiano è datata 1802, quattro anni appena dopo la pubblicazione dell’originale. Firma questa traduzione Luigi Balochi e la inserisce in una raccolta intitolata: Il merto delle donne, Le rimembranze, La malinconia e Le pompe funebri. La nostra, in sostituzione della traduzione – reinvenzione del Balochi, è una traduzione inedita del poemetto che pretende di restituire la lunghezza originale, quei 160 versi dimenticati da Balochi, rispettando, laddove possibile, la rima e il ritmo del verso francese.

Au début de l'été de 2007 la ville Rio a subi une catastrophe responsable de 232 morts (42% d'enfants ) et 150.00 malades. En quelques semaines, l'épidémie de dengue a bloqué toute la structure de soins de Rio. Les hôpitau pourtant dotés de plans blancs, n'ont pu faire face a l'afflux massif de patients. La gravité était due au choc hypovolémique par perte de plasma, plus qu'aux hémorragies. La diffusion alarmiste de la presse a augmenté les réactions de panique populaire. En février 2008, chaque heure des centaines de nouveaux cas ont été enregistrés. Les autorités réunies (Secrétariat d” État de la Santé et Sécurité Civile, Le Service de santé du Sapeur Pompier, de l Ármée de Terre, de la Marine et de l' Armée de L'Air) ont décidé d'installer 12 PMA (Hôpitaux de Campagne) pour trier les malades et les hydrater sur place. Chaque “ Tente d'Hydratation” a été équipée d'un laboratoire d'analyse (hémogramme et plaquettes ) de 30 lits pour l'hydratation en perfusion, deux lits de réanimation et une ambulance, pour le transfert vers l'hôpital de référence. Près de 1000 professionnels de santé y ont travaillé. Dans le premier mois, 49 700 consultation on été assurées dans les PMA. Les patients étaient tous triés et 10 % ont eu besoin d'une hydratation par perfusion pendant 12 heures en moyenne. Seulement 2% des malades ont été hospitalisés. Le diagnostique précoce et l'hydratation rapide a permis aux PMA de renvoyer les malades chez eux, de réduire efficacement l'afflux hospitalier et la mortalité par dengue. Les PMAs ont été démontés progressivement à mesure du contrôle de l'épidémie, jusqu'a 2 mois plus tard.

A new disease of fennel is described from Sicily (southern Italy). Surveys of the disease and sampling were conducted during spring 2017 and 2018 in Adrano and Bronte municipalities (Catania province) where this crop is widely cultivated. Isolations from the margin of symptomatic tissues resulted in fungal colonies with the same morphology. Pathogenicity tests with one isolate of the fungus on 6-month-old plants of fennel reproduced similar symptoms to those observed in nature. Inoculation experiments to assess the susceptibility of six different fennel cultivars to infection by the pathogen showed that the cultivars ‘Narciso’, ‘Apollo’, and ‘Pompeo’ were more susceptible than ‘Aurelio’, ‘Archimede’, and ‘Pegaso’. Phylogenetic analyses based on a matrix of the internal transcribed spacer (ITS), the large subunit (LSU), and the small subunit (SSU) rDNA regions revealed that the isolates represent a new genus and species within the Leptosphaeriaceae, which is here described as Ochraceocephala foeniculi gen. et sp. nov. This study improves the understanding of this new fennel disease, but further studies are needed for planning effective disease management strategies. According to the results of the phylogenetic analyses, Subplenodomus iridicola is transferred to the genus Alloleptosphaeria and Acicuseptoria rumicis to Paraleptosphaeria.

Les confréries de dévotion montréalaises, fondées sous le Régime français, comme la Sainte-Famille, la Congrégation des hommes de Ville-Marie ainsi que l’Adoration perpétuelle du Saint-Sacrement et de la Bonne-Mort, ont vu les notables laïques retourner vers elles avant les années 1840, période du réveil religieux. Pendant cette dernière, le recrutement connaît une accélération. Dans la première moitié du siècle, les Sulpiciens, très attachés à cette forme d’encadrement des laïcs, ont restauré les règles et usages anciens, tout en affermissant leurs prérogatives de directeurs de ces confréries, surtout chez les dames de la Sainte-Famille et à la Bonne-Mort (à majorité féminine). Outre la discipline, le clergé a rétabli ces associations comme écoles de piété exigeante, à la fois sur le plan individuel et collectif. Les solennités sont devenues plus nombreuses et les associés les célébrèrent avec un faste accru, traduisant le goût nouveau de la pompe romaine. Ils tiraient fierté d’appartenir à ces anciennes confréries et donnaient tout à la fois, l’exemple au reste des paroissiens de Notre-Dame de Montréal.

Biology of the skates Bathyraja brachyurops and B. griseocauda in waters around the Falkland Islands, Southwest Atlantic. – ICES Journal of Marine Science, 65: 560–570. The distributions and length compositions of two large, abundant skates, broadnose skate Bathyraja brachyurops and grey-tail skate B. griseocauda, were studied using an extensive dataset (∼48 000 skates) collected from the commercial fishery and research cruises on the southeastern Patagonian Shelf around the Falkland Islands between 1992 and 2006. Bathyraja brachyurops mostly inhabit the shelf at depths shallower than 250 m, whereas B. griseocauda are found deeper (>250 m), off the shelf break and slope. Small individuals of both species are most segregated spatially. Growth increments on caudal thorns and vertebral centra revealed that B. brachyurops grow slower and have a shorter lifespan, attaining a maximum total length of 125 cm at 20 years, compared with B. griseocauda (∼150 cm at 28 years). Abstract:

The comparative provides literary history with a margin of redemptive self-betrayal. by the comparative, we should understand certain practices of reading and inquiry that reveal actions and texts to be more than they appear and that expose narrative claims as other than they strictly claim to be. Historiography is likewise susceptible to this exposure. Narrative acts of literary history no less subject to such self-salvaging through comparative discernment, alert us to historiography's uncertain adequacy to the histories it narrates. The redeeming quotient of the comparative signaled here resides in its preemption of tautology. The comparative, that is, can forestall, if not preclude outright, the possibility of any phenomenon's becoming definitively self-identical. In affirming the comparability of its objects, textual or otherwise, the comparative uncovers and ratifies the difference within and among phenomena and the contingencies of their existence, a sanctioning of difference that could mitigate solipsism and self-delusion. For literary history, this means foreclosing, or at least hedging against, literary history's morphing into world history as tautologically plotted by certain master narratives of historiography that claim total explicatory power over the fortuities of history and historical life. These include narratives of imperial successions, providential history, world monarchies, epochal histories that plot human existence on the self-universalized grid of their own periodicity, and the history of Spirit commonly referred to as “Prussian universalisms.” In this regard, Hegelian Geistgeschichte, with its dialectical-materialist derivative known as Marxism and its liberal-democratic free-market remnants called capitalism, both plied under the flag of modernization theory, is exemplary (Pomper, Elphick, and Vann). These are among historiography's most salient master narratives, perennially dominant in historical discourse and in the hegemony of states that have ideologically abetted and politically deployed them (Fasolt 219-32; Guha 24-47). The comparative persistently troubles the structural coherence of these historiographical master plots and their self-validating systematicity.

Marcin Kromer (1512-1589), sekretarz ostatnich królów polskich z dynastii Jagiellonów – Zygmunta I Starego i Zygmunta II Augusta, biskup warmiński, był wybitnym humanistą i cenionym historiografem. Włączył się też swoim pisarstwem w polemiczno-teologiczny dialog z reformacją. W latach 1541-1544 wyszły kolejno 4 księgi anonimowych polskojęzycznych Rozmów Dworzanina z Mnichem. Głównym celem ich napisania było zniechęcenie rodaków do przechodzenia na stronę ewangelików i umocnienie w wierze katolickich Polaków. Kromer pisze o tym w łacińskich praefationes do wydania dwóch pierwszych rozmów w języku łacińskim z 1559 r. i do kompletnego wydania, noszącego tytuł Monachus, sive Colloquiorum de religione libri quattuor... z 1568 r. We wstępach pisze też o powodach stworzenia łacińskich wersji dialogów, a w wydaniu z 1568 r. wspomina o pracy z tekstem. Zarówno uwagi odautorskie, jak i staranne porównanie tekstów polskich z łacińskimi oraz łacińskich wydań między sobą pozwalają wysnuć wniosek, że łacińskie wydania dialogów nie są tłumaczeniem polskich rozmów, a poszczególne wydania colloquiorum libri... wykazują zmiany zarówno w warstwie merytorycznej, jak i stylistycznej. Właśnie ta ostatnia jest przedmiotem analizy zamieszczonej w artykule. Fragment opisujący zamieszki i wojny religijne (głównie wojnę ze Związkiem Szmalkaldzkim) wykazuje wyraźne inspiracje stylem mów Cycerona. Analiza wybranych zdań z fragmentu pierwszej rozmowy z pierwszej księgi dostarcza dowodów na to, że Kromer świadomie korzystał ze środków retorycznych i ich połączeń używanych przez Cycerona w jego mowach (np. De imperio Cn. Pompei, Pro Caelio) oraz na wzór Arpinaty łączył istotne dla omawianej treści wyrazy. Analizowany passus zdaje się najbardziej obfitować w figury stylistyczne w całym liczącym ponad 1000 stron dziele Kromera. Jest również znakomitą ilustracją umiejętności retorycznych biskupa warmińskiego. Z tego też względu zasługuje na uwagę badaczy szesnastowiecznej prozy polsko-łacińskiej.

Abstract:

The Hungry Hollow Formation on the southeastern margin of the Michigan Basin is interpreted as a composite stratigraphic unit representing the lateral equivalents of two depositional cycles in the northern Appalachian Basin. The basal beds (? = Pompey and upper Levanna transgressive hemicycle of the upper Skaneateles Formation in New York) are separated by disconformity surfaces both from the underlying Arkona Shale and from the upper part of the Hungry Hollow (= upper part of Centerfield Limestone Member). These basal beds were deposited on eroded, overcompacted claystones of the Arkona Shale, contain a diverse suite of remanie sediments, and fill deep, delicately sculpted furrows of Cruziana transversa n. ichnosp., C. reticulata n. ichnosp., and Rusophycus bilobatum (Vanuxem, 1842). This lower disconformity may be recognizable regionally over the Northern Midcontinent. Overlying beds feature the lowest local occurrence of an offshore-aspect conodont fauna of the lower Polygnathus varcus Subzone. The underlying Arkona Shale yields Icriodus-dominated (nearer-shore aspect) faunas apparently representing Polygnathus xylus ensensis Zone assemblages. The upper part of the Hungry Hollow Formation and overlying lower part of the Widder Formation represent an offlap-onlap cycle within the lower Polygnathus varcus Subzone that is comparable to that of the upper part of the Centerfield Limestone.Cruziana and Rusophycus from the Hungry Hollow were not originally produced as “under-tracks” but were formed at the sediment–water interface on erosion-resistant, overconsolidated muds. The producer of Cruziana reticulata n. ichnosp. appeared in the benthic community of the field area before the excavator of C. transversa n. ichnosp. and of Rusophycus bilobatum (possibly the trilobite Dipleura). The degree of limb swing required to produce the reticulate scratch patterns in C. reticulata n. ichnosp. suggests the evolution of specialized coxa-sternite and inter-podomere hinges that were not previously considered to be present in trilobites. Comparable reticulate scratch patterns occur as early as the earliest Cambrian and are apparently related to excavation on disconformity-related mud firmgrounds.

Maria Pilar Astier-Peña é licenciada e doutora em Medicina e Cirurgia pela Universidad de Zaragoza, Espanha. Possui Mestrado em Saúde Pública e Administração Sanitária pela Universidad de Valencia e Mestrado em Economia da Saúde e Gestão Sanitária pelas Universidades Central de Barcelona e Pompeu Fabra. Atualmente Pilar é médica de família e comunidade e coordenadora médica do Centro de Saúde de Caspe (Zaragoza) do Serviço Aragonês de Saúde e realiza, também, pesquisa sobre sistemas de informação e projetos de melhoria da qualidade assistencial no âmbito hospitalar. Em agosto deste ano, esteve no Brasil, ocasião em que visitou Clínicas da Família no Rio de Janeiro e ministrou oficinas para os residentes e preceptores do Programa de Residência em Medicina de Família e Comunidade da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde do Rio de Janeiro. RBMFC: Qual é a situação atual da atenção primária na Espanha e qual é o papel do médico de família e comunidade?Pilar Astier: O sistema nacional de saúde na Espanha está atualmente organizado em 17 serviços regionais de saúde, que, em seu conjunto, possuem 3.600 centros de saúde e 10.116 consultórios locais em pequenos vilarejos, onde os profissionais de saúde trabalham para dar conta de uma população de 47.213.000 habitantes.Em cada centro de saúde trabalha uma equipe de atenção primária composta por médicos de família e comunidade, pediatras, profissionais de enfermagem, uma enfermeira obstetra e, em algumas equipes, também um odontólogo. Essa equipe conta com o apoio de profissionais administrativos. Cada equipe é responsável por uma população específica chamada de “zona básica de saúde”, e cada médico de família e comunidade tem sob sua responsabilidade entre 1500 e 2000 habitantes.Cada zona básica tem um hospital de referência com serviço de emergência, internação e atenção especializada ambulatorial, para que os médicos de família e comunidade possam encaminhar os pacientes para avaliação especializada.Os médicos do centro de saúde oferecem consultas médicas em função da demanda do paciente, bem como consultas programadas com o objetivo de fazer um acompanhamento dos processos crônicos. Eles realizam visitas domiciliares para pacientes com dificuldades de se deslocar à unidade de saúde, tanto de forma programada como por solicitação do próprio paciente.Os médicos têm o apoio de profissionais de enfermagem para as atividades de promoção da saúde, acompanhamento de pacientes crônicos e de pacientes em cuidados domiciliares, bem como para a coleta de sangue, dispensação de medicamentos e realização de curativos.Cada serviço regional de saúde oferece às suas equipes de atenção primária um prontuário eletrônico comum para toda a região, um sistema de prescrição eletrônica e conexão com o sistema de informação da atenção especializada, que permite ter acesso aos exames radiológicos e aos resultados de exames laboratoriais do hospital de referência, e, em algumas regiões, também aos registros clínicos hospitalares.A maioria dos profissionais de saúde das equipes de atenção primária é assalariada e pertence ao serviço regional de saúde. Os centros de saúde empregam mais de 35.000 médicos (29.000 médicos de família e comunidade e 6.000 pediatras), dos quais 50% aproximadamente são mulheres. Quanto aos profissionais de enfermagem, cerca de 29.000 (8 de cada 10) são mulheres. A razão de médicos de família e comunidade por cada 10.000 habitantes é de 7,6 e, de enfermeiros, 6,3.Nos centros de saúde rurais, os médicos realizam a atenção continuada de 24 horas, para que a população sempre tenha acesso a um médico de família e comunidade de forma programada ou urgente.RBMFC: Quais são os principais problemas que a atenção primária atravessa neste momento?Pilar Astier: Em primeiro lugar, o perfil de nossos pacientes. Com o envelhecimento populacional – 17,4% da população tem idade superior a 65 anos –, os pacientes passaram a apresentar mais comorbidades e, assim, maior uso de polifarmácia. O médico de família e comunidade, portanto, deve estar capacitado para detectar interações medicamentosas, manejar fármacos com janela terapêutica estreita (p.ex., digoxina, anticoagulantes, antiepilépticos e opioides) e para buscar reduzir o risco de eventos adversos relacionados a medicamentos (47% dos eventos adversos na atenção primária da Espanha são relacionados a medicamentos).Por outro lado, com o aumento da prevalência de doenças crônicas, como diabetes, hipertensão, obesidade e artrose, aumentou a carga de cuidados que essa população requer, tornando necessário buscar novas formas de cuidados e empoderar os pacientes para que eles possam conduzir sua própria doença por meio de “programas de pacientes especialistas”.Outra dificuldade é a limitação de acesso aos dados do prontuário eletrônico entre as comunidades autônomas. Os pacientes que se deslocam para outras regiões não têm à sua disposição um conjunto mínimo de informações sobre sua saúde. O paciente deve levar ele mesmo seus relatórios médicos. O mesmo ocorre com a prescrição eletrônica, que somente pode ser usada na região do paciente e não é compartilhada com as outras regiões.Quanto aos profissionais, a situação econômica atual está gerando importantes cortes nos orçamentos da saúde. Na atenção primária, isso afeta diretamente os profissionais, que tiveram a sua carga horária semanal aumentada e os salários diminuídos. Houve também diminuição da contratação de profissionais substitutos para períodos de férias, congressos, etc., e dos investimentos em equipamentos.RBMFC: Na sua recente visita ao Brasil, o que mais lhe chamou a atenção no sistema de saúde brasileiro e, principalmente, no processo de transformação da APS que está sendo implementado no Rio de Janeiro?Pilar Astier: A oportunidade de compartilhar alguns dias com vocês me permitiu conhecer como funcionam as equipes de atenção primária, como se formam os residentes de medicina de família e comunidade e como está sendo planejada a implantação das novas equipes.Dois elementos que me parecem fundamentais são o planejamento do processo e o uso de indicadores para avaliar os resultados sobre a saúde da população, permitindo valorizar adequadamente o trabalho das equipes de atenção primária.Em todos os centros que visitei, constatei a responsabilidade, o profissionalismo e a empolgação de todas as pessoas das equipes que tive o prazer de conhecer.O trabalho docente que está sendo feito pelos preceptores e pela coordenação da unidade docente é crucial para ter uma rede de profissionais médicos qualificados e para apoiar o desenvolvimento de uma atenção primária de qualidade.RBMFC: No Brasil, alguns anos atrás, um debate frequente era se os programas de residência deveriam estar vinculados às universidades. Na Espanha, os programas de residência estão vinculados às universidades?Pilar Astier: Na Espanha, os programas de residência médica não dependem das universidades. O sistema de formação médica especializada, também conhecido como MIR (médico interno residente), é coordenado pelo Ministério da Saúde, que anualmente lança o edital para um exame único de seleção para toda a Espanha e realiza a oferta de vagas nos diferentes hospitais do sistema público de saúde para cada especialidade. Esse sistema começou em 1978.Um conselho nacional de especialistas em ciências da saúde e um comitê específico de cada especialidade são encarregados de elaborar o programa de formação e de certificar as unidades docentes hospitalares e de atenção primária onde se desenvolve a formação. Essas unidades são avaliadas periodicamente para garantir o correto cumprimento do programa.RBMFC: É obrigatório ter o título de especialista para poder trabalhar no sistema público na Espanha?Pilar Astier: O programa MIR é obrigatório atualmente para poder exercer a medicina na Espanha e em qualquer outro país da União Europeia (Portaria 2005/36/CE).RBMFC: Como está a situação da pesquisa na atenção primária? Como é a relação da universidade com o sistema de saúde?Pilar Astier: A situação da pesquisa na atenção primária está melhorando, graças à criação dos institutos de pesquisa dos serviços regionais de saúde. Esses institutos públicos facilitam os trabalhos burocráticos dos pesquisadores com as entidades de financiamento como, por exemplo, em relação às bolsas oferecidas pelas comunidades autônomas, pelo Ministério da Saúde, pelo Conselho da Europa e pela indústria farmacêutica. A tomada de decisão sobre a concessão de bolsas de pesquisa envolve um processo longo e complexo de documentação, como também o posterior gerenciamento dos recursos concedidos, e esses institutos de pesquisa regionais têm facilitado o trabalho dos pesquisadores.De fato, já foram iniciados ensaios clínicos sobre medicamentos na atenção primária, e estamos conseguindo projetos de pesquisa colaborativa com outros países europeus.Também as sociedades científicas de médicos de atenção primária estão apoiando o desenvolvimento de linhas de pesquisa em doenças crônicas, como hipertensão, diabetes, dor crônica, entre outras.Alguns profissionais médicos estabeleceram vínculos formais com as faculdades de Medicina, tornando-se professores associados. Esses professores associados ministram as aulas teóricas nas faculdades e as práticas em seus próprios consultórios, geralmente situados nos serviços regionais de saúde. Na maior parte das faculdades não existe departamento de medicina de família e comunidade. Os médicos de família e comunidade que colaboram como professores associados integram-se em outros departamentos. É por isso que os médicos de família e comunidade não costumam desenvolver projetos de pesquisa em atenção primária vinculados às faculdades.Existem 21 faculdades de medicina públicas e 7 privadas.RBMFC: No Brasil existe uma importante falta de médicos de família e comunidade. Como é a situação na Espanha? Existem médicos de família e comunidade suficientes para dar conta de toda a população?Pilar Astier: Atualmente a Espanha tem um superávit de médicos de família e comunidade. Isso faz com que, em muitas ocasiões, a oferta de vagas melhor pagas e com boas condições de trabalho seja escassa, porque existem muitos profissionais que querem essas vagas.De fato, muitos médicos de família e comunidade estão migrando para a Inglaterra, França, Suécia, Noruega e Alemanha em busca de emprego. Nesses países eles são muito benquistos em função do seu alto nível de qualificação.RBMFC: Qual é a cobertura da atenção primária na Espanha?Pilar Astier: Na Espanha praticamente 99% da população tem cobertura pelo Sistema Nacional de Saúde.Os serviços públicos oferecidos pelas equipes de atenção primária no Sistema Nacional de Saúde espanhol incluem atividades preventivas, diagnósticas, terapêuticas e de reabilitação, bem como de promoção da saúde. A carteira básica de serviços está regulamentada pela Lei 16/2003, que trata sobre a integração e a qualidade do Sistema Nacional de Saúde, e pela Portaria 1030/2006, que estabelece o elenco comum da carteira de serviços e os procedimentos para sua atualização.A “Reforma Sanitária sobre Medidas Urgentes para Garantir a Sustentabilidade do Sistema Nacional de Saúde e Melhorar a Qualidade e a Segurança de seus Serviços” (Real Decreto 16/2012, de 20 abril de 2012) modificou a carteira de serviços. Esse decreto criou uma carteira básica de serviços à qual cada comunidade autônoma poderá acrescentar os serviços que achar pertinentes. Ele restringiu a cobertura de serviços aos cidadãos que tenham contribuído com a Previdência Social e aos seus familiares beneficiários. Os que não contribuíram devem assinar um seguro público mediante pagamento mensal.A atenção às situações de urgência, tanto na atenção primária quanto nos hospitais, é garantida para todas as pessoas.Quando são prescritos fármacos pelo médico de família e comunidade, o paciente tem uma participação no custeio, que é proporcional ao seu nível de renda mensal. Abstract:

Objectives: Magnetization transfer (MT) imaging exploits the interaction between bulk water protons and protons contained in macromolecules to induce signal changes through a special radiofrequency pulse. MT detects muscle damage in patients with neuromuscular conditions, such as limb-girdle muscular dystrophies or Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, which are characterized by progressive fiber loss and replacement by fatty tissue. In Pompe disease, in which there is, in addition, an accumulation of glycogen inside the muscle fibers, MT has not been tested yet. Our aim is to estimate MT ratio (MTR) in the skeletal muscle of these patients and correlate it with intramuscular fat fraction (FF) and results of muscle function tests.Methods: We obtained two-point axial Dixon and Dixon-MT sequences of the right thigh on a 1.5 Teslas MRI scanner in 60 individuals, including 29 late onset Pompe disease patients, 2 patients with McArdle disease, and 29 age and sex matched healthy controls. FF and MTR were estimated. Muscle function using several muscle function tests, including quantification of muscle strength, timed test quality of life scales, conventional spirometry obtaining forced vital capacity while sitting and in the supine position, were assessed in all patients.Results: MTR was significantly lower in Pompe patients compared with controls (45.5 ± 8.5 vs. 51.7 ± 2.3, Student T-test, p < 0.05). There was a negative correlation between the MTR and FF muscles studied (correlation coefficient: −0.65, Spearman test: p < 0.05). MTR correlated with most of the muscle function test results. We analyzed if there was any difference in MTR values between Pompe patients and healthy controls in those muscles that did not have an increase in fat, a measure that could be related to the presence of glycogen in skeletal muscles, but we did not identify significant differences except in the adductor magnus muscle (48.4 ± 3.6 in Pompe vs. 51 ± 1.3 in healthy controls, Student T-test = 0.023).Conclusions: MTR is a sensitive tool to identify muscle loss in patients with Pompe disease and shows a good correlation with muscle function tests. Therefore, the MT technique can be useful in monitoring muscle degeneration in Pompe disease in clinical trials or natural history studies.

Este artigo objetivou propor reflexão acerca dos enunciados formalmente ditos sobre Jatobá e o conjunto da obra deste autor, no sentido de apresentar o contexto de leitura no qual a obra se insere. Esse autor vem se destacando no espaço da prosa literária contemporânea brasileira, por produzir literatura que retrata e refrata o Brasil vivido pela classe operária, nos meados do século XX até os dias atuais. ERRO MANIFESTO NA APRECIAÇÃO: REFLEXÕES E PONDERAÇÕES MANIFEST ERROR OF APPRECIATION: REFLECTIONS AND BALANCING Felipe Reis Pompeu de Moraes*Clarissa Maria Beatriz Brandão de Carvalho** RESUMO: O presente artigo abordará uma reflexão acerca do Erro Manifesto em suas principais concepções. Será evidenciado o conceito e o contexto histórico desta subjetividade administrativa originária da França do séc. XX. Posteriormente, serão aduzidos os pressupostos para que ocorra o Erro Manifesto, seus pré-requisitos e circunstâncias necessárias, além das consequências. Cabe destacar um estudo das questões paradigmáticas encontradas neste tema. A partir desta etapa se realizará um paralelo entre princípio da realidade e o Erro Manifesto, bem como seu vínculo entre razoabilidade e proporcionalidade. Compete ainda salientar a existência de alguns elementos existentes no Erro Manifesto, entre os quais a subjetividade e a fungibilidade. Será abordada, ainda, uma análise dos casos e exemplos práticos ocorridos no Direito Internacional. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Erro Manifesto na Apreciação. Princípios. Subjetividade. Fungibilidade. Casos práticos. ABSTRACT: This article addresses a reflection on the Manifest Error with a focus on its main conceptions. It will be evidenced the concept and the historical context of the administrative subjectivity originating in France in the XX century. The assumptions for the occurrence of the Manifest Error, its prerequisites, necessary circumstances, and its consequences. It is worth highlighting a study of the paradigmatic issues found in this theme. From this stage, a parallel was made between the principle of reality and the Manifest Error, as well as its link between reasonableness and proportionality. It is also worth emphasizing an existence of some elements existing in the Manifest Error, among which are subjectivity and fungibility.
