The Role of the Kalianget BP4 Institute Sumenep functions as an official institution that supports the duties of the religious department in improving the quality of marriage and to enhance marital quality and realize a healthy household, this can be seen from the composition of the management and work programs in each field. In addition, the thing that supports BP4 is the development of exemplary sakinah and mother family movements with the establishment of West Kalianget Village as the Village of the Sakinah Family (DBKS), then reinforced by the sending of sakinah family motivators held by the East Java Regional Office. This shows that Sumenep's Kalianget BP4 has positioned its role well. In addition, BP4 serves as a forum that provides guidance and fostering towards the realization of marital conservation. The advice is given with the intention to broaden the horizons and maintain integrity and realize a family that is sure to be blessed and blessed. Information technologies are now a vital element of social life. Their task is to introduce people to a better tomorrow, catch up with the most developed countries, broaden horizons, and increase the standard of living. However, the rapid development of technology, access to data, and the possibility of managing it are still dependent on the human being, who determines whose data, when, and for what purpose it will be obtained and utilized. Nonetheless, indeed, all the data once found on the Internet remains there forever. Huge data banks are built based on personal data and account profiling. Besides, these banks are strongly guarded and secured with the most modern alarm systems, and only a small group of trained IT specialists has access to them. By information provided on own preferences, purchases made, applications downloaded, shared information, photos, and likes on social networks, one can specify the sexual preferences, education, political and religious views, evaluate assets, or determine the marital status of the user. Even small amounts of information shared reveal the deeply hidden interests of online account users, and the benefits of information technology are designed to share personal information while forgetting about the risks automatically.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to understand if and how saving motives can predict bank customers’ use of financial advisory services. In addition, it analyzes possible gender differences regarding this relationship. Design/methodology/approach The study uses a large and unique sample of Swedish bank customers, combining objective bank register data with subjective data from a questionnaire. A probit regression is used. Since decisions regarding the use of financial advisory services can be influenced by, e.g., age, wealth, gender and marital status, the author analyzes results at both the overall level and the group level. Findings All three saving motives are found to be predictors, i.e., motives to save for wealth, retirement, and a rainy day (with opposite sign). Only the motive to save for retirement is significant for both women and men. Wealth differences seem more important than gender differences, except for the rainy day motive where gender differences are observed also among the wealthy. Practical implications The study is important since there is a need for financial advisors to understand their customers’ context, including motives to save. Saving motives involving longer time horizons and more uncertainty are likely to predict the use of financial advisory services. Originality/value This paper is original because it deepens the understanding of the relationship between saving motives and customers’ use of financial advisory services, focusing also on the aspect of gender differences, while controlling for demographics and socioeconomics, and customers’ interest and confidence in financial matters, risk tolerance, and financial literacy.

She endeavours to reconstruct, revitalise, rejuvenate, to extend the duration of the body of her art, the body of performance art and, consequently, of her biological body. A number of methods and mechanisms are used for this purpose - starting from documentation, technical multiplication, substitution, extension and virtualisation and even spectacularisation of her body and the body of her art.

Marieta e Josefa tiveram suas vidas entrelaçadas e confinadas no Hospital de Neuro-psiquiatria Infantil (Belo Horizonte – MG), e é a partir de certos elementos que encontrei ao longo da pesquisa, que assumo elas terem sido pacientes de tal instituição. Suas histórias, aqui (re)construídas por mim de forma livre, tendo por base fontes documentais e materiais, nos guiarão pelo hospital criado em 1947, o qual recebeu desde crianças com sofrimento mental até órfãs ou portadoras das mais diversas doenças. Com discursos de poder e controle materializados na espacialidade do prédio, espero discutir, através da Arqueologia da Arquitetura, como essa instituição funcionou como um mantenedor da ordem urbana ao tirar de circulação uma gama de pequenos indesejáveis rechaçados pela sociedade.

This study investigated the perceptions of undergraduate students of the University of Ilorin on the causes of domestic violence against women. A total of 200 students comprised of 114 males and 86 females from two faculties (Humanities and Sciences) of the University of Ilorin were sampled. The t-test and analysis of variance statistics were adopted to compare the perception of the undergraduate students by faculty, sex, religion and marital status @ 0.05 level of significance. Questionnaire was used to collect data from the respondents. The findings of the results indicates there was no significance differences in the causes of domestic violence against women as perceived by male and female undergraduate students; different religious affiliations; humanity and Science faculty as well as married and single undergraduate students of university of Ilorin. Also, the findings indicated that domestic violence against women is being caused by disobedience on the part of the wife, jealousy, drug usage, poor home background, lack of proper guidance, uncontrolled sexual desire, consumption of alcoholic drinks, marital incompatibility, forced marriage and so on. The following recommendations were made: that there should be researches on this widen topic to enable have horizon knowledge of domestic violence against women, it should involve all parts of the country to make generalizations possible for the Nigerians. Awareness should be raised to prevent domestic violence against women by all and sundry. Parents should create time to show love to their wards to make home less burdensome and violent among others.

Seventy years ago Erikson proposed successful identity formation in adolescence was the foundation for successful intimacy formation in young adulthood. With the extended period of identity exploration in emerging adulthood, it is unclear if intimacy formation continues to be connected to identity. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between identity in three domains of love, work, and worldview with long term views of intimacy using Marital Horizons Theory. Results from a sample of 777 college students in the Project READY dataset indicated that identity formation in love is positively associated with views of marriage, identity formation in work has no significant association with views of marriage, and identity formation in worldview is negatively associated with views of marriage. Implications for the transition into marriage and further identity research are discussed.

The purpose of this dissertation is to examine the implementation process of Law 11.340/06, commonly known as the Maria da Penha Law, through a macro-study conducted in the Contagem–Belo Horizonte metropolitan area. Law 11.340/06 was created in 2006 by the Brazilian government to curb and prevent domestic violence in the country. This newly created law is important because domestic violence accounts for 70 % of all homicides against women in Brazil.  In order to conduct this study, the researcher traveled to Brazil during the month of November 2011, to collect data from interviews, seminars, events, newspapers, published reports, a questionnaire, and field observations.  The researcher discovered that several agencies from all three levels of the government formed the Network against Domestic Violence to enforce Law 11.340/06 and to assist abused women.  However, despite many positive changes, the agencies continue to face strong resistance.  The lack of political will is the major factor driving the performance of these agencies and the implementation of Law 11.340/06.

Notre travail rend compte de la double articulation d’analyse d’Antoine Berman dans Pour une critique des traductions: John Donne. La méthode bermanienne intègre tant une histoire, événementielle et individuelle, des traductions qu’une analyse des textes à la lumière de leurs entours (paratextes, projets de traduction, etc.). Dans une première partie, nous tenterons de décrire à l’aide d’un panorama historique l’importation de la poésie de Rilke en traduction française, des premières versions du début du XXe siècle aux dernières traductions des Élégies de Duino. Nous nous attacherons à l’identité des différents (re-)traducteurs et à l’horizon général de leur travail. Dans une seconde partie, nous comparerons plusieurs versions françaises de la première Élégie de Duino, oeuvre poétique de Rilke la plus retraduite en français. A travers différents critères touchant à la forme et au sens, nous saisirons l’apport de ces traductions et le lien qui les unit, afin de constater in fine si les comportements socio-culturels observés dans la première partie se matérialisent aussi dans la pratique des (re-)traducteurs duinésiens
This dissertation rests on the double articulation of Antoine Berman’s analysis of translation in Toward a translation criticism: John Donne. Indeed, Berman’s method integrates as well a macroscopic and individual history of translations as an analysis of texts, considering their peripheral features (paratexts, translation projects, etc.). In the first part, we will depict through a historical panorama the import of Rilke’s poetry in French, from the first versions of the early 20th century to the latest translations of the Duino Elegies. We will thereby give heed to the identity of the different (re-)translators and to the general horizon of their translations. In the second part, we will compare several French versions of the first Duino Elegy, Rilke’s most retranslated poetical opus in French. Through various criteria dealing with form and sense, it will be a question of comprehending what these translations bring and the kind of bond holding them together. We intend eventually to find out whether the sociocultural behaviors we noticed in the first part are also observable in the practices of the Duinesian (re-)translators

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo a análise de obras da arquitetura moderna brasileira de base carioca, construídas em concreto armado no período compreendido entre 1935 e 1960. É inegável que a construção teve destaque entre os vários componentes que levaram a arquitetura moderna brasileira ao reconhecimento internacional. Dentro do período citado, o Brasil figurou como líder do universo da arquitetura moderna, onde a exploração da plasticidade potencial do concreto armado foi aplicada com grande êxito. As soluções adotadas pelos arquitetos brasileiros tiveram grande repercussão, a começar pelo edifício da Associação Brasileira de Imprensa dos Irmão Roberto da sede do Ministério da Educação e Saúde Pública (hoje conhecido como Palácio Gustavo Capanema) que deixaram perplexos arquitetos do mundo inteiro. Marcos da nova arquitetura no país, estes exemplares foram objeto de inovações expressivas e bem-sucedidas também no seu projeto estrutural. Para se fazer a análise das construções brasileiras, é importante estudar as origens do concreto armado e suas aplicações desde o seu surgimento, passando pela descrição de patentes registradas (ou apenas estudadas) na Europa e Estados Unidos, sem esquecer de precisar nomes e datas, fundamentais para substanciar a reivindicação de influências e precedências. Em um segundo momento, estuda-se a chegada do concreto armado no Brasil, e as obras iniciais, além de registrar as primeiras construtoras e a elaboração das primeiras normas. Nos anos 30 o concreto armado é agente da verticalização e da indústria da construção civil, domínio este comprovado através de dados técnicos e sócio-econômicos. A última parte está dedicada para a análise das obras, onde Affonso Eduardo Reidy, Álvaro Vital Brasil, Lúcio Costa, MMM Roberto e Oscar Niemeyer são os autores dos projetos. Analisados sob o aspecto de sua concepção estrutural e construtiva, os exemplares são divididos em categorias e dentro destas ordenados por cronologia de projeto e execução, onde são apresentados além do texto escrito, ilustrações das obras em andamento, finalizadas e desenhos originais e/ou elaborados por este autor, através de levantamento ou pesquisa.
The purpose of this essay is the analysis of works of the Brazihan modem architecture with carioca base, built in reinforced concrete in the period between 1935 and 1960. It is undeniable that the construction had prominence among the several components that took the Brazihan modem architecture to the international recognition. Inside of the mentioned period, Brazil represented as leader of the universe of the modem architecture, where the exploration of the potential plasticity of the reinforced concrete was applied with great success. The solutions adopted by the Brazihan architects they had great repercussion, to begin for the building of the Brazilian Association of Press of the MMM Roberto of the headquarters of Ministry of Education and Pubhc Health (known as Palácio Gustavo Capanema) that left perplexed architects of the whole world. Signal of the new architecture in the country, these copies were object of expressive and successful innovations in your structural project. To do the analysis of the Brazilian constructions, it is important to study the origins of the reinforced concrete and your applications from your appearance, going by the description of registered patents (or just studied) in Europe and United States, without forgetting of needing names and dates, fundamental to nourish the revindication of influences and precedences. In a second moment, it is studied the arrival of the reinforced concrete in Brazil, and the initial works, besides registering the first builders and the elaboration of the first norms. In the thirties the armed concrete is agent of the verticalization and of the industry of the building site, domain this proven through data technicians and socioeconomic. The last part is dedicated for the analysis of the works, where Affonso Eduardo Reidy, Álvaro Vital Brasil, Lúcio Costa, MMM Roberto and Oscar Niemeyer are the authors of the projects. Analyzed under the aspect of your structural and constructive conception, the copies are divided in categories and inside of these ordered by project chronology and execution, where they are presented besides the written text, illustrations of the works in process, concluded and drawings original or elaborated by this author, through rising or researches.

This chapter overviews marriage formation patterns and beliefs about marriage during emerging adulthood. Although marriage is no longer a transition occurring during emerging adulthood for many individuals, this chapter describes how marriage still has an important impact on emerging adult development and trajectories. The authors first note the major international demographic shifts in marriage that have occurred among emerging adults over the past several decades. They then highlight how research findings on beliefs about marriage have offered evidence that how emerging adults perceive their current or future marital transitions is strongly associated with other decisions during emerging adulthood. The chapter overviews major theoretical advancements in this area including marital paradigm theory and marital horizon theory. Research is summarized focusing on the age of marriage to highlight and discuss how marriage during emerging adulthood may impact well-being. Suggestions are provided for future directions of research in this area of scholarship.

This chapter explores the reasons why the doctrine of probabilism is no longer prominent in our intellectual and scholarly horizon. These reasons include the advent of Alphonsus Maria de’ Liguori’s equiprobabilism; the progressive loss of political, social, and cultural capital of the nineteenth-century Roman Curia; and the triumph of Cartesian epistemology in the modern secularized world. This chapter also argues for the necessity to recover the centrality of probabilism, both because probabilism and moral theology were a crucial component of the cultural, political, and religious history of early modern Europe, and because learning how early modern probabilists grappled with uncertainty can be distinctively useful for us today. Even though we are the most informed generation on Earth, we seem to be losing the ability to distinguish facts and truths from opinions. Thus, appreciating the historical significance of probabilism can help us to navigate our current epistemological and moral uncertainties.

O conhecimento se fabrica nos múltiplos circuitos da linguagem e em conexões estabelecidas nos próprios efeitos dos saberes humanos. As dinâmicas dos discursos, as práticas de ensino e os territórios das artes são algumas fronteiras que deslizam entre conceitos e experiências, significantes e significados. Em As palavras e as coisas, Michel Foucault (2007) reflete que “a linguagem representa o pensamento como o pensamento se representa a si mesmo”. Nesses termos, a produção crítica e intelectual constrói um jogo em que os textos se transformam em repositórios daquilo que somos e buscamos representar através das palavras. Cada repositório pode ser classificado como uma cena que opera dentro e através da linguagem, de modo que sua força é determinada por sua capacidade de intervir nas práticas sociais e, consequentemente, transformá-las. É reconhecendo a presença da diversidade produzida nas esferas do conhecimento humano que o livro Conexões: Linguagens e Educação em Cena, organizado por Nathalia Bezerra da Silva Ferreira, José Wandsson do Nascimento Batista, Lívia Karolinny Gomes de Queiroz, Isabela Feitosa Lima Garcia e Ana Flávia Matos Freire, representa um espaço de circulação de ideias e práticas críticas imprescindíveis para estudantes, professores e pesquisadores das Letras e outros campos de estudo. As demandas acerca da linguagem, da cultura e da sociedade nunca se esgotam. Dessa forma, abrem-se novas margens e cenários de saberes relacionados à Linguística, Literatura, Educação e à História que nos ajudam a interpretar e aperfeiçoar o entendimento das relações de poder e das interações entre os sujeitos. É urgente que, em nossas experiências docentes e discentes, exerçamos o papel de mediar a produção do conhecimento entre a academia e outras organizações sociais, criando visibilidades para que os espaços dos saberes sejam cada vez mais democráticos e inclusivos. Nesse sentido, o capítulo de abertura, intitulado “A modalidade volitiva em relatos de pacientes que superaram a Covid-19”, André Silva Oliveira descreve e analisa através da modalidade volitiva os comportamentos de pessoas que divulgaram seus relatos na internet acerca da superação da doença. No contexto da pandemia que enfrentamos atualmente torna-se relevante a vigilância dos efeitos desta enfermidade que se instaura no imaginário dos sujeitos. No Capítulo 2, intitulado “Reflexões sobre a linguística e a semiótica: revisão teórica e um exemplo de aplicação”, Jancen Sérgio Lima de Oliveira investiga as distinções e as semelhanças entre a linguística e a semiótica tendo como ponto de partida a produção de imagens no mundo contemporâneo. Em outro espectro de pesquisa, no Capítulo 3, “Gêneros orais: objetos de ensino como suporte às aulas de língua portuguesa”, George Pereira Brito inscreve um estudo para situar os gêneros orais no ensino de língua portuguesa, atentando para o papel dos docentes no desenvolvimento da oralidade como uma prática fundamental na formação estudantil.No Capítulo 4, “As interfaces da leitura: decodificação e compreensão leitora”, de Alessandra Figueiró Thornton, discute a formação leitora dos estudantes da Educação Básica, destacando a necessidade de políticas que desenvolvam as habilidades relacionadas à proficiência leitora nas escolas. Lidando com outras molduras da linguagem, mais precisamente no campo da literatura, no Capítulo 5, “Vozes femininas tecendo a resistência no enfrentamento às violências nos contos de Insubmissas lágrimas de mulheres, de Conceição Evaristo”, escrito por Maria Valdenia da Silva, Maria José Rolim, Diely da Cruz Lopes e José Ronildo Holanda Lima, observamos uma análise das profundas marcas da violência de gênero representadas na literatura de Evaristo e os atos de resistência das personagens, que lutam para produzir outras escrevivências no tecer do texto literário. Ainda no contexto dos estudos literários, Nathalia Bezerra da Silva Ferreira, no Capítulo 6, “Ressignificações no conto de fada ‘Entre a espada e a rosa’, de Marina Colasanti”, estuda as ressonâncias entre o conto “Entre a espada e a rosa”, de Marina Colasanti e o conto “Pele de Asno”, de Charles Perrault. A autora explora o imaginário da literatura infanto-juvenil e confronta ambas as narrativas para identificar intertextos e rastros entre o texto clássico e o moderno. No Capítulo 7, intitulado “A morte com véu branco: uma análise da poesia de Emily Dickinson”, Brena Kézzia de Lima Ferreira e Francisco Carlos Carvalho da Silva analisam a obra poética de Dickinson com foco na representação da morte e suas figurações simbólicas que acentuam as incertezas da existência humana. Expandindo as cenas de pesquisa, no Capítulo 8, “A formação leitora: uma proposta metodológica com um poema de Manoel de Barros”, André de Araújo Pinheiro, Kamilla Katinllyn Fernandes dos Santos e Verônica Maria de Araújo Pontes desenvolvem um procedimento metodológico baseado em jogos teatrais e sequências básicas para fornecer estratégias e dinâmicas de leitura que visam propiciar maior proficiência leitora entre os sujeitos participantes.Tomando como ponto de discussão os fundamentos do letramento literário, no Capítulo 9, “Novas práticas de leitura literária à luz do teatro do oprimido”, Danyelle Ribeiro Vasconcelos situa as práticas de leitura do texto literário dentro de uma perspectiva crítico-reflexiva, gerada a partir do livro Capitães da Areia, de Jorge Amado, em diálogo com o método teatral do Teatro do Oprimido, desenvolvido por Augusto Boal, com o intuito de transformar o ato de ler literatura em uma prática emancipatória, em que o território da sala de aula passa a ser o palco de jogos dramáticos, onde os alunos assumem importantes papeis sociais. No Capítulo 10, “Letramento na educação infantil a partir do livro A vida íntima de Laura, de Clarice Lispector”, os autores Nadja Maria de Menezes Morais, Laís Correia Teófilo de Souza, Jôse Pessoa de Lima e Marinalva Pereira de Araújo traçam um perfil da formação leitora e infantil baseada nas experiências de leitura literária. Nesse contexto de aprendizagem, o livro de Lispector permite estimular a reflexão em torno da importância do letramento literário desde os primeiros anos da vida escolar. Em conexão com a temática, em “Multiletramentos na escola: proposta de leitura do hipertexto ‘Um estudo em vermelho’, de Marcelo Spalding”, Capítulo 11, Angélica Benício Alves e Sandro César Silveira Jucá, atentos acerca das novas situações comunicativas geradas por ambientes virtuais, exploram a existência de gêneros literários digitais e refletem sobre suas aplicabilidades na sala de aula para promover práticas de leitura e, como resultado disso, desenvolver condições de multiletramento nos espaços educacionais. Dando continuidade, em “O ser criança e a sexualização infantil em face ao discurso midiático: O Caderno Rosa de Lori Lamby”, Capítulo 12, Elane da Silva Plácido e Maria da Conceição Santos tomam como objeto de estudo o livro Caderno Rosa de Lori Lamby, da escritora Hilda Hilst, para analisar as nuances da personagem Lori em face da influência midiática no processo de sexualização e adultização do corpo infantil, provocando impactos na identidade da criança. É por meio do Capítulo 13, designado “Canciones que el tiempo no borra: memorias, censura y canciones bregas en el contexto de la dictadura civil-militar en Brasil (1964-1985)”, escrito em espanhol por Lívia Karolinny Gomes de Queiroz, Isaíde Bandeira da Silva e Edmilson Alves Maia Júnior, que aprendemos sobre os efeitos da censura na arte, mais precisamente na música brega, tida como manifestação artística imprópria aos valores defendidos pelo regime militar no Brasil (1964-1985). Os autores examinam os impactos da censura na sociedade da época, mas também enunciam como a música pode expressar as contínuas tensões de um momento histórico. Maria Julieta Fai Serpa e Sales, Francinalda Machado Stascxak e Maria Aparecida Alves da Costa refletem em “O vínculo entre o estado e a igreja católica no Brasil imperial (1822-1889) e sua reverberação na educação”, Capítulo 14 desta coletânea, a relação da Igreja Católica com o Estado na época do império, identificando as implicações deste vínculo na história da educação brasileira. Por sua vez, o Capítulo 15, “As contribuições da teoria histórico-cultural para o ensino na educação infantil: uma revisão de literatura”, assinado por Camila Alvares Sofiati, foca na compreensão do processo de aprendizagem infantil a partir das teorias de Vigotski, em que o trabalho pedagógico com crianças é observado. Já no Capítulo 16, intitulado “Proposta e currículo no contexto educacional do ensino infantil brasileiro”, também de Marcus Vinicius Peralva Santos, o autor produz um panorama de pesquisas sobre propostas curriculares direcionadas ao ensino infantil no Brasil, averiguando como os projetos políticos pedagógicos contemplam as novas demandas da sociedade contemporânea. No capítulo seguinte, “As contribuições do NTPPS na aprendizagem de língua inglesa numa escola pública de Pacoti – CE”, Capítulo 17, as autoras Francisca Marilene de Castro Rodrigues e Isabela Feitosa Lima Garcia contextualizam os desafios do ensino de língua inglesa nas escolas brasileiras e apresentam princípios metodológicos que visam dirimir as problemáticas em torno da aprendizagem do inglês, reforçando a necessidade de produzir um modelo de ensino que coloque no centro do processo o conhecimento do aluno em relação às interfaces de cognição. Dessa forma, as autoras abrem perspectivas positivas para o ensino-aprendizagem do idioma em questão.O Capítulo 18, “A utilização do blog pelas escolas estaduais de educação profissional de Juazeiro do Norte – CE”, as autoras Maria Francimar Teles de Souza e Rosa Cruz Macêdo abordam o blog como uma ferramenta digital fundamental na divulgação de atividades escolares e mapeiam seus usos em escolas estaduais de ensino profissionalizante na cidade de Juazeiro do Norte – CE. Em outro contexto de pesquisa, no Capítulo 19, “Intervenções inter/multidisciplinares em crianças disléxicas”, Wanda Luzia Caldas de Brito e Maria Josefina Ferreira da Silva investigam, através de uma abordagem multidisciplinar, questões relacionadas à dislexia em crianças e como tal condição afeta o desenvolvimento da aprendizagem nos anos escolares, evidenciando a necessidade de que os profissionais sejam subsidiados de informações sobre como lidar com o diagnóstico deste transtorno e, consequentemente, possam proporcionar um bom ambiente de ensino. No Capítulo 20, intitulado “A importância da interação e do material adaptado para o processo cognitivo do aluno com necessidades educacionais especiais”, Samara de Oliveira Lima, Sanara Macedo Sousa e Sabrina de oliveira Marques abordam o progresso do aluno com Necessidade Educacional Especial (NEE) e a importância de sua inclusão no contexto escolar. Para isso, os autores entendem que o professor tem um papel importante no processo de acolhimento e na ação de produzir materiais adaptáveis para o ensino. Traçando outro cenário de reflexão, no horizonte do Capítulo 21, nomeado “O papel do tutor no contexto da educação a distância: uma análise dos estudos brasileiros até 2020”, Marcus Vinicius Peralva Santos concentra-se na função do tutor no processo de ensino-aprendizagem da educação a distância, trazendo à tona os desafios que os profissionais da área enfrentam e as necessidades oriundas de suas práticas. Já no Capítulo 22, “O ensino remoto na visão docente: desafios e perspectivas”, Elizete Pereira de Oliva Leão e Mauricio Alves de Souza Pereira avaliam as condições do ensino remoto a partir da experiência de professores de uma escola pública da cidade de Montes Claros, Minas Gerais. Os dados levantados pelos autores apontam para problemas que precisam ser superados, especialmente relacionados ao acesso das mídias digitais e à formação continuada dos docentes, para que estejam preparados para o uso de Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TICs). O capítulo seguinte aborda práticas do contexto de ensino-aprendizagem de línguas. “O processo de elaboração das organizações didáticas no contexto da residência pedagógica de língua portuguesa”, Capítulo 23, George Pereira Brito e Maria Beatriz Bezerra de Brito dedicam-se a examinar as produções de Organizações Didáticas de um programa de residência pedagógica para o ensino médio desenvolvido pela Universidade Estadual da Paraíba, com o objetivo de dar suporte aos alunos bolsistas para que tenham em mãos materiais adequados para o ensino de português. No horizonte da educação básica e suas diversas disciplinas, o Capítulo 24, com o título de “Química verde: análises das concepções de alunos do ensino médio”, de autoria de Michelle de Moraes Brito, Kariny Mery Araujo Cunha, Francilene Pereira da Silva e Márcia Valéria Silva Lima, atende às demandas da educação ambiental, uma vez que, preocupadas com os vários níveis de degradação do meio ambiente, as autoras analisam a percepção de alunos do ensino médio acerca das problemáticas ambientais, na perspectiva da Química Verde, atribuindo a importância de formar sujeitos mais conscientes acerca dos problemas ocasionados pela ação humana na natureza. No Capítulo 25, “As licenciaturas em química ead e presencial nos IF: uma análise dos projetos pedagógicos de cursos e as implicações na formação docente”, os autores Dylan Ávila Alves, Nyuara Araújo da Silva Mesquita, Raiane Silva Lemes e Abecy Antônio Rodrigues Neto avaliam cursos de licenciatura em Química de Institutos Federais em sua modalidade de Ensino a Distância (EaD) e comparam as suas especificidades – direcionadas aos alunos – com o modelo de ensino tradicional. Nos dois últimos capítulos, percebendo a emergência das novas tecnologias nas práticas educacionais, Karina Pereira Carvalho, Mariana da Costa Teles, Marcelo Augusto Costa Vilano e Vinícius Pedro Damasceno Lima destacam, no Capítulo 26, “Ensino remoto da matemática a partir das tecnologias digitais: a importância dos jogos digitais como ferramenta auxiliar da aprendizagem”, o papel de jogos digitais no processo de ensino-aprendizagem da matemática e como essas ferramentas auxiliam no desenvolvimento de habilidades de raciocínio lógico e cognição. Em diálogo com a área, no Capítulo 27, “A modelagem matemática utilizada para ensinar funções e aplicações”, Karina Pereira Carvalho trabalha com a modelagem matemática como princípio norteador do ensino das funções e aplicações, objetivando apresentar soluções para lidar com as dificuldades dos alunos relacionadas ao tema. Apresentadas as coordenadas iniciais de cada capítulo do Livro Conexões: Linguagens e Educação em Cena, convidamos o leitor para que adentre nas páginas desta coletânea e deixe fluir essas cenas de aprendizagem na sua formação humana. Como declara Paulo Freire, no livro Educação como prática da liberdade (1967), “há uma pluralidade nas relações do homem com o mundo, na medida em que responde à ampla variedade dos seus desafios.” Nesse sentido, esta obra fornece diversos olhares sobre alguns desafios que os autores e autoras enfrentam em suas experiências humanas. Suas contribuições são plurais e buscam responder as problemáticas da linguagem, da educação, da literatura e da sociedade que os cerca. Uma última assertiva: os conhecimentos são mutáveis, o que permanece é o desejo de produzir novos pensamentos e afetos transformadores.

This chapter examines the role marriage plays in the life planning and behavior of emerging adults. Most emerging adults hold marriage in positive regard and plan to get married at some point. As emerging adults age, however, finances, career development, education, and job availability lead them to flexibly shift their “marital horizons” and become more open to marital alternatives, such as remaining single or cohabitating. Emerging adults are getting married later and are also remaining single in increasing numbers. Although the dominant cultural model of marriage is one that promotes individual growth and self-actualization, there is an emerging class divide. Partners are expecting more from marriage while investing less time in their partners. New models for marital behavior and expectations may be needed to address why some marriages are more satisfying than ever before, while a great number are falling short, encumbered by individual, cultural, and structural considerations.

This chapter briefly reviews the art history from 1230–1450 CE in order to better understand the cultural profile of the rabbi, and to evaluate the contribution of the wall paintings in his house as indications of the artistic horizons of German Jews of the fourteenth century. It also shows how Jews had to abandon the art that they cherished for generations, yet they found ways to keep alive their fascination with the beautiful and to nurse their aesthetic needs. The interior synagogue of Santa Maria la Blanca of Toledo and that of the recently reconstructed Sinagoga Mayor of Segovia manifest a profound attachment to Islamic public architecture. Jews showed great appreciation for the decorative value of their Hebrew alphabet. They also learned to paint inanimate or geometric images in miniature letters on the covers of their Bibles.

The “Mediterranean Wall” in the territory of the Marina Alta: bunkers and batteries of the Spanish War (1936-1939)In 1936-1939 the War of Spain took place, turning its territory into the testing ground of Europe in anticipation of the Second World War; here new weapons were tested: mass media, propaganda and aviation. The national side used Mallorca as “aircraft carrier” from which it launched airstrikes on the Mediterranean coast: a rearguard that required fortification. To defend the cities, the Republican government ordered, in 1937, to build a coastal defensive system (“Mediterranean Wall”). On the Valencian coast there were ten basic enclaves: from the lighthouse of Castellón to the end of Santa Pola. This network of defenses had two built lines. The first was constituted by elements located at zero level, by the sea and on the beaches, which maintained regular distances from each other; these were reinforced concrete bunkers that sought to camouflage themselves. A second was formed by coastal and antiaircraft, concrete and masonry batteries that merged with the land, located in the hills to have a wider horizon and be closer to its objectives. Bunkers and batteries that followed geometric patterns in constant evolution. This communication studies the defensive settlements built by the Republican army in the cities of Xàbia and Dénia (Marina Alta), which had a port, airfield and armament factories, which made them the target of enemy aviation. In these territories many of these architectures have disappeared under real estate pressure, but there are still several bunkers, batteries and ammunition deposits that are intended to be inventoried and documented (especially the 7th of the Montgó and the 8th of the Portixol batteries) to insert into of the tradition of historical military forts (typological genealogies) and their understanding as a networked defensive system that maintains parallels with the system of coastal towers of the system of coastal towers of the Modern Age.

O presente trabalho busca analisar se aplicação dos princípios da economia solidária à comunidade Noiva do Cordeiro constitui a razão de sua coesão e existência. A comunidade Noiva do Cordeiro foi fundada em 1891 por Maria Senhorinha de Lima e seu segundo marido, Francisco Fernandes. A comunidade se localiza no interior de Minas Gerais, em uma zona rural chamada de região de “Cordeiros”, a cerca de 100 km de Belo Horizonte e a 16 km da cidade de Belo Vale. A Economia Solidária constitui-se em um fenômeno econômico de grande abrangência, indicando a perspectiva de um processo de transformação social. A adoção dos princípios de economia solidária na gestão de determinado negócio provoca significativa modificação na relação do trabalhador, agora, cooperado com o processo produtivo. O trabalho possibilita ao trabalhador seu crescimento e amadurecimento, o que é ofertado pela economia solidária a todos. Desde 2014 tem sido constante o contato com a comunidade Noiva do Cordeiro, com visitas in loco e diversas conversas com as mulheres para melhor compreensão da organização social e produtiva da comunidade.

The Maria Sibylla Merian International Centre for Advanced Studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences Conviviality-Inequality in Latin America (Mecila) will study past and present forms of social, political, religious and cultural conviviality, above all in Latin America and the Caribbean while also considering comparisons and interdependencies between this region and other parts of the world. Conviviality, for the purpose of Mecila, is an analytical concept to circumscribe ways of living together in concrete contexts. Therefore, conviviality admits gradations – from more horizontal forms to highly asymmetrical convivial models. By linking studies about interclass, interethnic, intercultural, interreligious and gender relations in Latin America and the Caribbean with international studies about conviviality, Mecila strives to establish an innovative exchange with benefits for both European and Latin American research. The focus on convivial contexts in Latin America and the Caribbean broadens the horizon of conviviality research, which is often limited to the contemporary European context. By establishing a link to research on conviviality, studies related to Latin America gain visibility, influence and impact given the political and analytical urgency that accompanies discussions about coexistence with differences in European and North American societies, which are currently confronted with increasing socioeconomic and power inequalities and intercultural and interreligious conflicts.
