To elucidate the mechanism by which the anti-asthmatic responses of PPD occurred in vitro, A549 cells were stimulated with TNF-¥á, IL-4 and IL-1¥â to induce the expression of chemokines and adhesion molecules involved in eosinophil chemotaxis.
