Non-contractible assertions in the market remain background presuppositions, of which enactment depends largely on the individual economic agent. Abstract:
The thesis analyses a dispute of two anarchist movements promoting Anarcho-Capitalism and an automated non-monetary economy. It asks the question whether the dispute can be explained in terms of paradigm conflict and not exclusively in political terms . The goal is to search for signs of scientific paradigm in an apparently ideological dispute. The thesis also examines the reasons why did the debate deteriorate into a personal and moral conflict of the representatives. The method of analysis is Grounded Theory, with reference to authors who interpret Kuhn's paradigm conflict as the consequence

Forestry activities play a crucial role in climate change mitigation. To make carbon credits generated from such activities a tradable commodity, it is important to analyze the price dynamics of carbon markets. This dissertation contains three essays that examine various issues confronting world’s carbon markets. The first essay investigates cointegration of carbon markets using Johansen maximum likelihood procedure. All carbon markets of the world are not integrated. Abstract:
In this thesis, a framework for market-based resource allocation in manufacturing is developed and described. The most salient feature of the proposed framework is that it builds on a foundation of well-established economic theory and uses the theory to guide both the agent and market design. There are two motivations for introducing the added complexity of the market metaphor into a decision-making environment that is traditionally addressed using monolithic, centralized techniques. First, markets are composed of autonomous, self-interested agents with well defined boundaries, capabili

This work project investigates German habits and culture to understand the current challenges for donation-based crowdfunding platforms on the example of the French-based company Leetchi, which operates in the German market. The methodology used comprises customer surveys, customer analysis and secondary research. The preference for cash payments, mistrust in the branch, the gap in customer education and the protective behavior of personal data lead to obstacles for the FinTech branch. Therefore, a company’s strategy and practices have to be adjusted in a way to match Germans habits and
