The quality of borehole water of Maroua was evaluated using physico-chemical properties and treated using Fe/sand mixture of different composition and 100% sand in the reactive zone column filtration. The metavolcanic rocks around Maroua in the Far North Region of Cameroon are located at the northern margin of the Central African Fold Belt (CAFB) and have not been studied to date.
