Abstract:
The article reveals the nature of the interpretation of Lenin's thought by Slavoj Zizek and the social and philosophical significance of the interpretation. It is demonstrated that the interpretation is based on the opposition of Lenin and Leninism. This opposition is carried out with the problematization of the relationship between economy and politics and the interpretation of being based on Zizek's analysis of criticism of Marxism by postmodern left thinkers. It is demonstrated that Zizeks’s interpretation of Leninism is a new stage in the polemic of Western Marxism against Soviet Marxism.
