Abstract:
Masarak (also known as Masalit, sometimes spelled Massaleit), an endangered Nilo-Saharan language spoken in Darfur, is characterized by complex agreement patterns, particularly in the second person. This article outlines Masarak agreement patterns in the declarative, imperative and prohibitive verb forms, paying particular attention to second singular declarative allomorphy. In addition, this article describes a series of verb root-form alternations. Understanding these alternations is necessary in understanding the interpretation of different declarative, imperative and prohibitive verb forms.

Abstract:
For along time language teachers tend to ignore teaching listening. Among the four skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) that are recognized as the keys to ‘knowing’ the language, listening is probably the least important to be taught. Actually speaking and listening are always interrelated. However listening is the most underdeveloped skill. In Indonesia the teachers tend to ignore to teach this skill by skipping it eventhough it is clearly stated in curriculum. Many reasons are mentioned by the teachers for not teaching listening, such as lack of teaching material, lack of school facilities, the speakers in the recorded material speak too fast, the students do not understand the vocabularies and the sentences used by the speakers. Basically, they realized that listening cannot be separated from other language skills like speaking, reading and writing. Listening is important since students may receive much of their information of their school through listening to instructors and to another. Listening has been regarded as the most frequently used language skills in the classroom. Besides, listening skill is important in the workplace, the family and the community. Furthermore nowadays listening skill is included in national examination for the level of Senior High School. The teachers then have no reasons to ignore and skip teaching listening, for they can vary their teaching materials, tasks, techniques and activities. Kinds of authentic materials can be taken from many recources, and kinds of activities to support teaching listening in the classroom can be done as well. Abstract:
The integration of approach, method, technique, media and learning sources is innovation in learning activity. To some teachers, this innovative learning is an approach or a method that is too theoretical, thus it is complicated to grasp concretely. Therefore, the training administered through Academic Staff Community Service (ASCS) is necessary to conduct in order to provide firming and new experience, and to extend insight on this innovative learning. Participant of the training was the members of English Language Teacher Association (ELTA) of Singkawang Municipality. The training aimed to enable the member of the ELTA to design their own innovative learning steps or procedures to apply in lesson plan and teaching-learning activity. Furthermore, the training was executed with three methods, namely interactive lecturing, presentation with media equipment, and short practice. The implementation of this English language problem-based learning with short practice in the training revealed that the problems encountered by students could be handled by the teacher through innovative ways. By the examples had been demonstrated in the training activity, the English language teachers were able to teach by firstly identifying the problems the students encounter, and then solve the problems innovatively.

Translation does not only deal with language problems but also cultural problems. There are transferring language and culture in translation. Some aspects needs more attention in translation such as linguistics aspects which involve phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, and psycholinguistics. These aspects are able to give a strong basic for a translator to be a good translator. Another aspect that is also important is about form and meaning aspects. Meaning may appeared from various aspects such as the structure of languages, the situation of using language, and the social and culture of languages. The equivalence problems in target language are able to be coped with by giving definition, elaboration, or giving the explanation to the words. A translator should be able to process his translation well in the and a translator also should consider linguistics aspect, acceptability aspects, and politeness. High and low acceptability rate is also influenced by elaborating translator politeness in the translation.AbstrakPenerjemahan bukan sekadar persoalan bahasa, tetapi juga menyangkut masalah budaya. Terdapat alih bahasa dan budaya dalam penerjemahan. Beberapa aspek perlu mendapat perhatian dalam penerjemahan seperti aspek-aspek linguistik yang mencakup fonologi, morfologi, sintaksis, semantik, pragmatik, sosilinguistik, dan psikolinguistik. Aspek-aspek ini dapat memberikan dasar yang kuat bagi seorang ahli bahasa agar dapat menjadi penerjemah yang baik. Hal yang perlu mendapat perhatian adalah unsur bentuk dan makna. Makna bisa ditimbulkan dalam berbagai konteks, makna bisa muncul karena struktur bahasa, situasi penggunaan bahasa, dan sosio-kultur budaya. Masalah keterpadanan makna dalam bahasa sasaran dapat diselesaikan dengan menempuh cara memberikan definisi, elaborasi, atau menerangkan kata-kata tersebut. Penerjemah harus mengolah hasil terjemahannya dengan baik dalam proses penerjemahan. Penerjemah juga harus mempertimbangkan aspek-aspek linguistik, aspek keberterimaan, dan kesantunan berbahasa. Tinggi rendahnya nilai keberterimaan juga dipengaruhi oleh kesantunan berbahasa penerjemah dalam menguraikan hasil terjemahan.

Abstract:
Geometric thinking has a very important role in developing students' mathematical thinking. To find out geometric thinking students needed a problem that could identify geometric thinking. The problem must be in accordance with the objectives to be measured, to meet validity and reliability as a valuation tool. The purpose of this research was to obtain the design of geometry problems to be able to identify valid and reliable geometric thinking. The descriptive method was used in this research. There are 6 people as validators and 3 junior high school students for testing. The results obtained prototype problems designed to pay attention to aspects of the material in accordance with the level of junior high school students and bring visualization, construction and reasoning activities. The construction aspect in which the problem does not lead to multiple interpretations. is clear and uses a question word/ command whose completion is a description. Aspects of language where the language is communicative easily understood and in accordance with the rules of the Indonesian language is good and true and meets the criteria of legibility.

Padahal pengetahuan tentang Bahasa Krama sangatlah penting dalam sebuah percakapan maupun pembicaraan yang menggunakan Bahasa Krama. Minimnya referensi tentang kosa kata dalam bahasa Krama Saat ini yang masih setia menggunakan bahasa daerah terbatas usia lanjut. Hal ini dapat mengakibatkan punahnya bahasa daerah, sehingga perlu kerja keras untuk menyesuaikan setiap orang menggunakan bahasa daerah. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut maka perlu dilakukan perancangan sistem agar dapat memberikan pembelajaran tentang bahasa krama melalui platform android, sehingga mudah digunakan dan dipelajari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah pembelajaran berbasis Android yang mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan minat masyarakat dalam berbahasa lokal. Dalam penelitian ini mengunakan metode Research and Development (R&D). Karena hasil akhir dari penelitian ini akan menghasilkan suatu produk sistem informasi bahasa krama indramayu berbasis android menggunakan sequential searching. Harapan dari penelitian ini adalah memudahkan pengguna khususnya masyarakat Indramayu dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan minat masyarakat dalam berbahasa lokal Kata kunci: Android, Bahasa Krama, Pengetahuan. Abstract: This research is based on the Indramayu community, which lacks information about the Krama language. Even though knowledge of Krama is very important in a conversation or a conversation using Krama Language. Lack of references to vocabulary in Krama. Currently, people who are still loyal to use regional languages ​​are limited to the elderly. This can cause the extinction of regional languages, so it is necessary to make efforts for all people to get used to using regional languages. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to make a system design that is able to provide learning about Krama language through the Android platform so that it is easy to use and learn. This study aims to design an Android-based learning that can increase people's knowledge and interest in local languages. In this study using the Research and Development (R&D) method. Because the final result of this research will produce an android-based product of indramayu krama language information system using sequential searching. The hope of this research is that it makes it easier for users, especially the Indramayu community, to increase their knowledge and interest in local languages. Abstract:
This study was aimed at describing the problems in the application of Arabic as the language of daily communication, the level of active Arabic language skills, and the level of need for multimedia learning development to improve the students' Arabic speaking ability. The sample of the study was the principal and students of grades VII to grade IX at an Islamic Boarding School in Yogyakarta. The sample was chosen by using random sampling method. The data collection was carried out by interviewing the principals and conducting open questionnaires aimed at the students. The data then were analyzed using qualitative descriptive method. The results show that there had been a decrease in the application of Arabic for everyday conversation due to problems experienced by students such as difficulty in Arabic language, lack of motivation among students, lack of school support for the application of Arabic, and the media used were not feasible. The level of need for the development of Arabic learning multimedia in order to practice the ability to speak Arabic for students is very high with a percentage of 100%.PENGEMBANGAN MULTIMEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBAHASA ARABAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan masalah-masalah dalam penerapan bahasa Arab sebagai bahasa komunikasi sehari-hari, tingkat kemampuan berbahasa Arab aktif, dan tingkat kebutuhan pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran untuk melatih kemampuan berbicara bahasa Arab bagi siswa. Sampel penelitian adalah kepala sekolah dan siswa kelas VII sampai kelas IX SMP Islamic Boarding School Bina Umat Yogyakarta yang dipilih menggunakan metode random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara yang ditujukan kepada kepala sekolah dan angket terbuka yang ditujukan kepada siswa. Data dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa telah terjadi penurunan dalam penerapan bahasa Arab untuk percakapan sehari-hari disebabkan oleh masalah-masalah yang dialami oleh siswa seperti susahnya materi bahasa Arab, kurangnya motivasi di kalangan siswa, kurangnya dukungan pihak sekolah terhadap penerapan bahasa Arab, dan media yang digunakan juga belum mampu melatih kemampuan berbicara bahasa Arab. Tingkat kebutuhan pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran bahasa Arab untuk melatih kemampuan berbicara bahasa Arab bagi siswa sangat tinggi dengan persentase 100%..

<p>There are so many questions come to mind in relation to language learning. One of which is the ways in teaching and learning the language especially in formal education. This issue has been discussed since 1980s until now. Linguists who get involved in education field have done research in this field. They found that the main concentration in language teaching is the selection of approach based on the system governed the learners. Some perspectives appear in the language learning. The methods, approach, and principles which come and arise in the language learning are discussed. These terms influence the learning of English as a first language, second language or foreign language. English as a first language will be taught differently. It also happens to the learning of English as second and foreign language. It is because of different purpose in learning the language. In this article, the writer discuss some perspectives in language learning in first language situation, second language situation and foreign language situation.</p><p>هناك كثير من الأسئلة تتبادر إلى الذهن فيما يتعلق بتعليم اللغة. واحدة منها هي الطرق في تعليم وتعلم اللغة وخاصة في التعليم الرسمي. وقد نوقشت هذه المسألة منذ 1980 (ثمانين) حتى الآن. وكان اللغويون يتورطون في مجال التعليم وإجراء الأبحاث في هذا المجال. ووجد الباحثون أن تركيز الرئيسي في تدريس اللغة هو اختيار النهج القائم على نظام محكوم المتعلمين. ويبدو أن بعض وجهات النظر في تعلم اللغة. وتناقش الطرق، والنهج والمبادئ التي تأتي وتنشأ في تعلم اللغة. هذه الشروط تؤثر على تعلم اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة أولى، لغة ثانية أو لغة أجنبية. اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة أولى وسيتم تدريسها بشكل مختلف. ويحدث أيضا في تعلم اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة ثانية والأجنبية. فذلك الاختلاف لأجل أغراض مختلفة في تعلم اللغة. وفي هذه المقالة، قامت الكاتبة بمناقشة بعض وجهات النظر في تعلم اللغة في وضع اللغة الأولى، واللغة الثانية واللغة الأجنبية</p><p>Ada banyak pertanyaan terkait dengan pembelajaran bahasa. Salah satunya adalah tentang bagaimana cara atau metode yang perlu diterapkan dalam proses belajar mengajar khususnya di lembaga pendidikan formal. Masalah ini telah dibahas sejak tahun 1980-an hingga sekarang. Para ahli bahasa di bidang pendidikan juga telah melakukan berbagai penelitian terkait masalah klasik ini. Mereka menemukan bahwa konsentrasi utama dalam pembelajaran bahasa adalah pemilihan pendekatan yang harusnya didasarkan pada sistem yang mengacu pada peserta didik. Oleh karenanya lalu muncul beberapa perspektif dalam pembelajaran bahasa. Ada metode, pendekatan dan prinsip-prinsip yang muncul dalam bahasan pembelajaran bahasa. Istilah-istilah ini mempengaruhi proses belajar bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa pertama, bahasa kedua, atau bahasa asing. Bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa pertama akan diajarkan berbeda. Hal itu juga terjadi pada pembelajaran yang menempatkan bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa kedua dan bahasa asing. Perbedaan ini karena tujuan yang hendak dicapai juga beda. Abstract. Rule-Based Model for Javanese Language Text Transliteration from Latin to Javanese Script. Computer technologies today have reached an applicable level to aid with language learning and translation. These technologies should also be helpful in learning traditional languages that are getting forgotten due to globalisation. With its rich cultural diversity, Indonesia facesthe same fate asits regional languages. Javanese, for example, is declining in its proper usage in written and spoken language. This research aims to provide a rule-based model for transliterating Javanese words written in Latin to Javanese script using Unicode. The model is based on extracted rules in writing the script to make it possible to be used as a model for other similar Nusantara scripts. The model yields 96,44% accuracy rate, which is adequate to provide decent transliteration for basic Javanese language learners and is open for additional rules to improve its ability to transliteratemore complex structures, contexts, as well rules for different Nusantara languages. Keywords: Rule-based model, Syllabification, Transliteration, Javanese Abstrak. Teknologi komputer masa kini telah mencapai kemajuan yang dapat membantu pembelajaran dan penerjemahan bahasa. Teknologi ini selayaknya juga dapat dimanfaatkan untuk membantu pelestarian bahasa-bahasa daerah yang semakin terlupakan. Indonesia dengan berbagai suku bangsanya juga menghadapi masalah dengan menurunnya penggunaan bahasa daerah, misalnya Bahasa Jawa. Penelitian ini mengusulkan sebuah model berbasis aturan untuk alih aksara teks berbahasa Jawa dari aksara Latin ke aksara Jawa Unicode. Model ini didasarkan pada ekstraksi aturan penulisan aksara Jawa, dengan harapan agar dapat digunakan sebagai model transliterasi bahasa-bahasa Nusantara yang serupa. Hasil uji dengan tingkat akurasi sebesar 96,44% menunjukkan bahwa model ini mampu melakukan transliterasi untuk pembelajar aksara Jawa dasar, mudah diduplikasi dan dapat dikembangkan untuk menyempurnakan kemampuannya untuk mengenali sruktur dan konteks yang lebih kompleks.Kata Kunci: Model berbasis aturan, Silabifikasi, Transliterasi, Bahasa Jawa.

Abstract: Invective expression is different from its literal meaning. Invective expression reflect the speaker`s culture, customs, and social and historical backgrounds. Therefore, without knowing a target language, culture aspects as well as expressions, the meaning of expressions can not be concluded from the dictionary definition, speakers of foreign culture often face problems in understanding the actual meaning of the meaning of expressions, especially invective expressions. In the Minangkabau culture that uses invective expressions in their daily conversations, understanding that is not a problem. However, problems may occur when the two different cultures try to understand each other's expressions. Therefore, this study analyzed invective expressions in Minangkabau and Batak languages. In addition, the writer also examined aspects of the culture and situation of the intended expressions used by speakers of each language. The researcher used qualitative methods and the data gets from the informants of both cultures. These findings reveal two categories, namely, first, invective expression in Minangkabau and Batak languages with same literal and actual meaning. Second, invective expression in Minangkabau and Batak languages with same literal meaning but different actual meaning.Abstrak: Makna kiasan berbeda dengan arti harfiahnya. Makna kiasan mencerminkan budaya, adat istiadat penutur, dan latar belakang sosial dan historis. Oleh karena itu, tanpa mengetahui aspek budaya target dan juga ungkapan, makna ungkapan tidak dapat di simpulkan dari definisi kamus, penutur bahasa asing sering menghadapi masalah dalam memahami arti sebenarnya dari makna ungkapan khususnya ungkapan makian. Dalam budaya Minang yang menggunakan ungkapan makian dalam percakapan sehari-hari mereka, memahami itu bukanlah masalah. Namun, masalah mungkin terjadi ketika kedua budaya yang berbeda mencoba memahami ungkapan satu sama lain. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menganalisis ungkapan makian dalam bahasa Minang dan Batak. Selain itu peneliti juga meneliti aspek budaya dan situasi tujuan ungkapan di gunakan oleh penutur bahasa masing-masing. Peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif dan Data bersumber dari informan kedua budaya. Temuan ini mengungkapkan dua kategori yaitu, pertama, Ungkapan makian dalam bahasa Minang dan Batak dengan makna literal dan makna aktual yang sama. Kedua, Ungkapan makian dalam bahasa Minang dan Batak dengan makna literal yang sama tapi makna aktual berbeda.

This article focuses on the comparison of morpheme in Arabic and Indonesian language by contractive approach. This research discusses the description of morpheme in both the arabic and Indonesian language; analyzes the similarities and differences between morphemes in arabic and Indonesian Language; and also prediction of problem arises in learning Arabic language especially in learning morpheme based on the similarities and differences on those languages. As an example, based on its existence in speech, there is al- khali morpheme in arabic language such as …….(tulisan arab) contains dhamir (tulisan arab), while in Indonesian morpheme, the morpheme is not found here. This case will cause students get difficulties in learning Arabic language---Penelitian dalam artikel ini memfokuskan pada perbandingan morfem dalam bahasa Arab dan bahasa Indonesia dengan pendekatan analisis kontrastif. Penelitian ini membahas tentang deskripsi dari morfem baik dalam bahasa Arab maupun bahasa Indonesia, mencari sisi persamaan dan perbedaan antara morfem dalam bahasa Arab dan bahasa Indonesia, serta prediksi masalah yang muncul dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab khususnya dalam pembelajaran morfem dengan berdasarkan pada persamaan dan perbedaan morfem dalam dua bahasa tersebut. Sebagai contoh, berdasarkan keberadaannya dalam tuturan, dalam bahasa Arab ada jenis morfem al-khali (morfem kosong) seperti lafazh ضَرَبَ yang di dalamnya menyimpan dhamir هُوَ , sedangkan dalam bahasa Indonesia morfem tersebut tidak ditemukan. Kegiatan keterampilan berbahasa, bahasa Arab, bahasa Inggris, dan bahasa diwajibkan bagi seluruh mahasiswa dan mahasiswa asing yang memiliki sertifikat TOAFL dan TOEFL. Kedudukan, tugas dan fungsi P2B UINSA Surabaya ada tiga tugas pokok, yaitu mengadakan pelatihan intensif bahasa arab dan inggris guna mengedukasi para mahasiswa dalam mempelajari buku literatur berbahasa asing, kemudian membantu meningkatkan mahasiswa dalam kemampuan berbahasa asing untuk menyiapkan mahasiswa dalam melanjutkan pendidikan tingkat langsung ke luar negeri, dan membantu mahasiswa dalam penguasaan bahasa asing agar berguna pada kehidupan bermasyarakat. Dalam menjalankan tugasnya, pihak P2B UINSA Surabaya berhadapan dengan resiko. Salah satu masalah yang sering dihadapi adalah masalah percetakan sertifikat yang mwnimbulkan risiko. Maka dari itu untuk menganalisa masalah tersebut maka digunakan ISO 31000. Hal ini dilakukan agar pihak P2B dapat mengelola resiko yang dapat menjadi penghambat tujuan organisasi. P2B (P2B) UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya (UINSA) is a university support institution tasked with developing student competencies in the field of language to produce competent graduates, especially in language. Language skill activities, Arabic, English, and language skills are mandatory for all students and foreign students who have TOAFL and TOEFL certificates. The position, duties, and functions of P2B UINSA Surabaya have three main tasks, namely conducting intensive Arabic and English language training to educate students in studying foreign language literature books, then helping to improve students' foreign language skills to prepare students to continue their education directly abroad. country, and assisting students in mastering foreign languages to be useful in social life. In carrying out their duties, the P2B UINSA Surabaya faces risks. One of the problems that are often faced is the issue of certificate printing which poses a risk. Therefore, to analyze this problem, ISO 31000 is used. This is done so that P2B parties can manage risks that can become obstacles to organizational goals. Data collection was carried out using a direct interview method to the person in charge of the language center to ask the level of possible risks that occurred. This study used the P2B UINSA Surabaya research object and found 7 risks including 2 high risks, 4 moderate risks, and 1 low risk originating from 3 aspects. which is then carried out to identify the scale and priority of the risk. The results of this study are treatment recommendations for the risks that exist in P2B UINSA.

Oleh sebab itu, patut mendapat prioritas dan perhatian yang sama dengan bahasabahasa daerah lain. Bahasa ini digunakan oleh kelompok masyarakat yang tinggal di Pulau Seram Bagian Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Untuk memperoleh data, digunakan metode simak, yakni dengan menyimak bahasa secara langsung dari penutur. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah karakteristik fonem bahasa Alune dan distibusinya dalam kata. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menginventarisasi fonem bahasa Alune dan distribusinya dalam kata. Berdasarkan hasil kajian disimpulkan bahwa bahasa Alune memiliki 23 buah fonem segmental yang terdiri atas 15 konsonan, 7 vokal (monoftong), dan 3 diftong. The objective to be achieved in this research is to inventory the Alune language phonemes. This article aims to describe the process of solving arithmetic problems for students with disabilities. The research method used in this study is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The SLR method is used to identify, review, evaluate, and interpret all available research with topic areas of interest. Data collection is done by documenting and reviewing all articles related to solving arithmetic problems. The articles used were 5 articles. The results showed that the process of solving arithmetic problems for students with disabilities was different. Students with disabilities experience many obstacles in solving arithmetic problems, especially in counting numbers from 10 to 100. Students with disabilities have difficulty understanding language. At other times, students with disabilities use procedures, strategies, and the desire to be active in the learning process. It is recommended for further researchers to develop special tools for students with disabilities.

Reading skill proficiency is a pre-requisite for language teaching and learning (T&L) activities that students need to master. This is because by mastering the reading skill, one can understand the content of the reading text and enrich their vocabulary. However, the data showed that the students at Tongxin Arabic College of Ningxia in China were still facing the challenge to master the reading skill. This situation indirectly poses a barrier to achieving the objectives of T&L activities. Therefore, this study was conducted to obtain data related to the problems faced by students in mastering the reading skill in Arabic language T&L activities at Tongxin Arabic College. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The simple random sampling method used in this study involved 56 female students, 44 male students, 3 male teachers, and 9 female teachers. The data obtained were analysed using SPSS software. It was found from the findings of the study that there were five factors that had influenced the reading skill proficiency among students, namely physiological factors, self-motivation, effort, implementation strategies, and lack of vocabulary size. Apart from that, there were other additional factors that also influenced students' reading skill proficiency, which included poor grammar, passive engagement in the classroom, lack of exercise, lack of educational resources, and rewards for teachers. This study also proposes a number of appropriate measures to address this problem from the students’ aspects and the teachers’ aspects. From the students’ aspects, it is proposed that the reading resources are diversified such as the use of the electronic medium as an alternative reading medium. Whereas from the teachers’ aspects, it is proposed that the methodologies used in T&L activities are strengthened. It is hoped that this study will improve the level of reading skill proficiency among students in Tongxin Arabic.

It used qualitative approach. The subject of this research is limited to University of Muhammadiyah Sorong students which obtained the level of visualization, analysis, informal deductive and will be analyzed based on the gender. Data of this research is 1) Geometry Van Hiele Test; 2) Problem Solving Test; 3) Interview. The conclusion of this research is: 1) At the level of male visualization thinking is to identify problem and determine goal using language problem. While at the level of women visualization, it reached on determining goal, ; 2) the level of male analysis thinking is able to pass five steps in problem solving by using own language but are less systematic. Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengetahui ragam bahasa yang dipakai oleh masyarakat Pakisjaya yang memakai dua bahasa yaitu bahasa Betawi dan bahasa Sunda, alih kode apa saja yang dipakai sebagai pengaruh dari adanya pemakaian dua bahasa tersebut, campur kode apa saja yang dipakai sebagai pengarh dari pemakaian dua bahasa tersebut, dan faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi adanya ragam bahasa yang hidup di masyarakat Pakisjaya menggunakan kajian Sosiolinguistik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu ragam bahasa yang dipakai masyarakat Pakisjaya yang terdiri dari tujuh profesi sebagai wakil lapisan sosial masyarakatnya. Teknik pengambilan data yang dipakai yaitu wawancara dan observasi langsung. Ada beberapa instrumen yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini diantaranya kamera, alat perekam, dan pedoman wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ada enam ragam bahasa yang dipakai masyarakat Pakisjaya diantaranya ragam bahasa akrolek, basilek, kolokial, argot, slang, dan jargon. Kemudian alih kode yang ada yaitu alih kode intern terdiri dari peralihan kode bahasa Sunda ke bahasa Betawi. Sedangkan campur kode yang ada yaitu campur kode ke dalam terdiri dari bercampurnya bahasa Betawi dengan kata bahasa Sunda sebagai akibat dari penggunaan bahasa Betawi dan bahasa Sunda dalam komunikasi sehari-hari. Terakhir ada dua faktor yang menyebabkan adanya ragam bahasa yaitu karena lektak geografis Pakisjaya sebagai daerah perbatasan dan ragam bahasa diperlukan masyarakat sebagai media penyaluran bahasa dalam komunikasi, misalnya dalam komunikasi profesi dan komunitas. Kesimpulannya ragam bahasa sanggat memberi manfaat bagi masyarakat untuk saling memahami bahasa satu dengan lainnya terutama untuk daerah yang heterogen. Abstrak This research is based on the varieties of languages that exist in society, especially in Pakisjaya district Karawang regency. Pakisjaya is laid in the border of Bekasi Regency and Java Ocean. The language and culture is heterogenic. This study is aimed to collect the varieties of languages that is used by Pakisjaya residents. They use two kinds of languages: Betawi and Sundanese. This research used qualitative method with descriptive technique. Data source in this research is the varieties of languages that is used by Pakisjaya people which consist of seven professions as representative of society. The technique of collecting data is interview and obvious observation. There are some instruments that become supporting units to sustain this research; they are camera, sound recorder, and interview manual. Based on the result of research there are six varieties of languages that is used by Pakisjaya people they are; Akrolect, Basilect, colloquial, Argot, Slang, and Jargon. Furthermore, the code switching covers internal code consisting of the transfer from Sundanese to Betawi. In addition, code mixing covers the mixing of Betawi and Sundanese since there is an influence of both languages in the daily conversation. Lastly, there are two factors that affect language varieties. First, it is the geographical factor of Pakisjaya as a border area. Second, it is language varieties needed by people as language platform media in communication, such as in occupation and community. The research concludes that language varieties is beneficial for the society to understand each language to another language especially for heterogenic area.

Ketiga bahasa pertama, yaitu bahasa Indonesia, Melayu Kelantan, dan Melayu Patani termasuk kelompok bahasa Melayu, sedangkan bahasa Sunda tidak termasuk bahasa Melayu. Bahasa Indonesia dan Sunda terdapat di Indonesia. Bahasa Melayu Kelantan terdapat di Malaysia. Bahasa Melayu Patani terdapat di Thailand. Sebagai bahasa kerabat rumpun Austronesia, keempat bahasa memiliki kosakata yang diwariskan dari bahasa yang lebih tua. Ciri-ciri adanya pewarisan tersebut dapat diamati pada kosakata yang memiliki persamaan atau kemiripan bentuk dan makna. Masalah yang dibahas adalah korespondensi fonemis apa yang menunjukkan perbedaan kata kerabat yang diperoleh dari hasil membandingkan kata kerabat pada enam glos dari empat bahasa sampel yang diteliti. Dalam tulisan ini diambil enam kata sampel bahasa Indonesia sebagai glos dari 200 glos kosakata dasar Swadesh, yaitu hapus, hati, hidup, hijau, hitam, dan hujan. Data bersumber dari kamus dan informan. Dari hasil penelitian terhadap kata kerabat untuk enam glos tersebut diperoleh sembilan perangkat korespondensi fonemis, yaitu (a) /h ~ ø/ , (b) /s ~ h/, (c) /i ~ ɛ/, (d) /d ~ r/, (e) /p ~ k/, (f) /aw ~ a ~ ɔ/ , (g) /am ~ őŋ ~ ɛ/, dan (h) /-an ~ --ɛ/. Selanjutnya, setiap korespondensi fonemis tersebut menghasilkan pengelompokan bahasa yang memperlihatkan pemilik unsur bahasa yang terdapat pada korespondensi fonemis tersebut dan jika dilakukan rekonstruksi, pengelompokan bahasa tersebutmenunjukkan pencabangan dari bahasa yang lebih tua yang telah menurunkannya.Kata kunci: rumpun bahasa, kata kerabat, korespondensi fonemis, pewarisan. AbstractIndonesian, Kelantan Malay, Patani Malay, and Sundanese are kin languages. The four languages include the Austronesian language family. The first three languages, namely Indonesian, Kelantan Malay, and Patani Malay belong to the Malay language group, while Sundanese does not include Malay. Indonesian and Sundanese are found in Indonesia. Kelantan Malay is found in Malaysia. Patani Malay is found in Thailand. As the languages of relatives of Austronesian families, all four languages have vocabulary inherited from older languages. The characteristics of inheritance can be observed in vocabulary that has similarities or similarities in form and meaning. The problem discussed is the phonemic correspondence of what shows the difference in relative words obtained from the results of comparing relative words in the six glossos of the four sample languages studied. In this paper six Indonesian sample words are taken as glossos from 200 basic Swadesh vocabulary words, namely erase, heart, life, green, black, and rain. Data sourced from dictionaries and informants. From the results of research on the word relatives for the six glossos obtained nine phonemic correspondence sets, namely (a) / h ~ ø /, (b) / s ~ h /, (c) / i ~ ɛ /, (d) / d ~ r /, (e) / p ~ k /, (f) / aw ~ a ~ ɔ /, (g) / am ~ őŋ ~ ɛ /, and (h) / -an ~ --ɛ /. Penelitian deskriptif ini bertujuan memetakan masalah pengajaran bahasa Arab di Madrasah Aliyah di wilayah Jakarta. Permasalahan pengajaran bahasa Arab berkisar pada masalah motivasi dan minat siswa dalam mempelajari bahasa Arab. Kondisi itu ditambah dengan perbedaan pengetahuan dan pengalaman belajar mereka karena latar pendidikan mereka yang berbeda pula. Masalah lain yang muncul adalah ketersediaan sarana penunjang belajar bahasa Arab dan pemanfaatannya. Di samping itu, kompetensi guru yang tidak seragam dan tidak standar menjadi kendala pula dalam proses pengajaran. Itu kemudian berdampak pada kemampuan metodologis mereka dalam mengajar bahasa Arab di kelas. Di sisi lain, minimnya waktu belajar di sekolah membuat sulitnya pengembangan pengajaran bahasa Arab secara lebih luas, ditambah lagi dengan sulitnya penciptaan lingkungan berbahasa yang kuat di sekolah. Semua permasalahan itu bertalian satu sama lain dan membutuhkan penyelesaian yang komprehensif dan berkelanjutan.</strong></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>Abstract - </em><strong>Arabic is taught as one of the important subjects in Madrasah Aliyah in Islamic studies curriculum structure. Although it’s important, the Arabic language is taught only in a limited number of hours and has many problems. This descriptive study aimed to map the problem of teaching Arabic at Madrasah Aliyah in Jakarta. The problem of teaching Arabic revolves around the question of motivation and interest of students in learning Arabic. The condition is coupled with differences in knowledge and experience of their learning because of their difference of educational background. Another problem that arises is the availability of means of supporting learning Arabic and utilization. In addition, the teacher competency standards are not same and not a constraint also in the teaching process. It was then impact on their methodological ability in teaching Arabic in the classroom. On the other hand, lack of time to learn in school makes it difficult to develop the teaching of Arabic language more broadly, coupled with the difficulty of creating an environment that is strong language in school. This type of research is descriptive explorative and qualitative approach. Subject of the study was obtained from the high school students who were tested on the level of Van Hiele geometry. Each level of visualization, analysis and informal deduction taken two learners who can communicate well. The results of this study indicate that solving problems in geometry learners who attained think visualization is to identify problems and set goals using the language question. Troubleshooting on the geometry of learners who attained think the analysis is through fifth troubleshooting step IDEAL using their own language, but less systematic. Troubleshooting on the geometry of students who reach a level of thinking is through the informal deduction fifth troubleshooting step IDEAL by systematically using their own language.

To obtain data submission capability math problem students, the research for mulated the problemas follows: (a) How does the ability filing math problems before and after the learning seen from the stage before and during problem solving?,(b) How is the level of complexity of the questions asked of students according to the structure of language and mathematical relationships?, (c) how associations filing capability math problems with the ability of the settlement (solving) the mathematical problem?.To answer this problem conducted experimental research on mathematics semester students majoringin STKIP "Tapanuli Selatan" Padangsidimpuan. Results showed that (a) the ability of the student submission mathematical problemsseen from the stage before and during the settlement of problems inproblem-based learningis quite good, as shown by the large percentage of math questions that can be solved either with new information and without any new information. (b) Differences filing capabilities grade math problems and problem-based learning class conventional learningis significant. (c) the ability filing math problems with the ability of the settlement (solving) the strong association of students of mathematics problems.

Kajian ini bersifat kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara observasi dan dokumentasi serta dianalisis dengan teknik persentase. Kajian ini menemukan keterkendalian penggunaan bahasa ruang publik di Kota Gorontalo berada pada kategori Terkendali C(wilayah yang penggunaan bahasa di ruang publik kurang terkendali: secara fisik kurang didominasi bahasa asing; mulai lebih banyak berbahasa Indonesia dengan penerapan kaidah dan tipografi yang mulai baik). Hal tersebut dapat dilihat pada aspek kebahasaan yang belum sepenuhnya mengutamakan penggunaan bahasa Indonesia karena memiliki masalah pada ejaan, pilihan kata, dan struktur kalimat. This study is quantitative. Data collected by observation and documentation and analyzed by percentage techniques. This study found that the control over the use of public space languages in Gorontalo City was in the Controlled C category (areas where the use of language in public spaces was less controlled: physically less dominated by foreign languages; started to speak more Indonesian with the application of rules and typography that began well). This can be seen in the linguistic aspects that have not fully prioritized the use of Indonesian because they have problems with spelling, choice of words, and sentence structure. Based on the physical aspects of language, position, size, and color of letters are not yet optimally support the priority of the Indonesian language. There are still data that place Indonesian in line with / position below or above a foreign language or regional language. Meanwhile, based on the typographic aspects of the language, the material, design, and clarity of the letters are proportional. This research aimed to describe the question complexity of the visualizer and verbalizer students in problem posing. The question complexity on problem posing is the complexity of the questions made by students by paying attention to some aspects, which are language variable, question complexity level, and students' creativity thinking level. This is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects were two visualizer students and two verbalizer students from 11th grade of Al Falah Senior High School. Data collecting techniques are tests and interviews. Test and interview data were analyzed descriptively. In the final result, question complexity of the visualizer students tend on the language variable level is second (low), question complexity is easy, and the creative thinking level is third (creative). Whereas the verbalizer students tend on the language variable level is fourth (high), question complexity is high, and the creative thinking level is fourth (extremely creative).

Abstract :This study aims to develop learning media for calculus based on the local wisdom of Timor Island with the implementation of Scilab. In addition, the research conducted simulations and compared the conventional methods and Scilab programming language to solve calculus problems. It is crucial to provide knowledge and insight to students to perform various types of simulations related to mathematics using Scilab or other open-source-based programming languages, besides the students become accustomed to solving mathematical problems with the help of programming languages. Twenty-three students of the Department of Mathematics Education in the University of Timor participated in this study to define, design, and develop a learning media in the form of handouts and powerpoints. The subject experts assessed the developed media as "excellent" in the aspect of content and language and "good" for the presentation. Meanwhile, the media experts gave an "excellent" rating for each aspect. Then after the media was tested on students, the media got “excellent” rating for each aspect.Abstrak :Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal pulau Timor pada mata kuliah Kalkulus dengan implementasi Scilab. Selain itu pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan simulasi dengan menggunakan Scilab dan melakukan perbandingan penyelesaian masalah-masalah kalkulus yang dilakukan dengan metode konvensional dan metode pembelajaran dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Scilab. Penelitian ini melibatkan 23 orang mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Timor. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan langkah-langkah penelitian ini adalah define, design, dan development. Penelitian ini mengembangkan media yang berupa handout dan powerpoint. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh dari media yang dikembangkan mendapatkan penilaian “sangat baik” untuk aspek isi dan bahasa serta penilaian “baik” untuk aspek penyajian dari ahli materi. Sedangkan dari ahli media mendapatkan penilaian “sangat baik” untuk setiap aspek. Kemudian setelah media diujikan kepada mahasiswa, media mendapatkan respon “sangat baik” dari setiap aspek penilaian.

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti penguasaan kemahiran membaca Bahasa Melayu murid bukan penutur jati di Bintulu, Sarawak dengan memberikan fokus terhadap asas pembacaan Bahasa Melayu murid bukan penutur jati, tahap kefahaman membaca murid bukan penutur jati terhadap teks naratif dan strategi pengajaran yang dapat membantu murid bukan penutur jati untuk meningkatkan kemahiran membaca dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Melayu. Responden kajian terdiri daripada 10 orang murid bukan penutur jati di salah sebuah sekolah menengah luar bandar yang terletak di Bintulu, Sarawak. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif menerusi kaedah kajian kes. Pengutipan data menerusi kajian lapangan dengan menggunakan teknik temu bual dan teknik pemerhatian digunakan untuk proses mengutip data. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan terdapat masalah dalam diri murid bukan penutur jati ini untuk menguasai kemahiran membaca dalam Bahasa Melayu, misalnya salah membunyikan huruf-huruf tertentu, tidak memahami petikan naratif yang diberikan dan tidak mengetahui kepentingan kemahiran membaca Bahasa Melayu. Tujuh daripada sepuluh responden kurang menguasai asas bacaan dengan baik manakala dua daripada sepuluh responden tidak memahami petikan naratif yang diberikan. Selain itu, tiga daripada sepuluh responden menunjukkan mereka tidak pasti tentang kepentingan kemahiran membaca terhadap diri mereka. Pendekatan pengajaran berpusatkan murid merupakan satu kaedah yang dilihat dapat membantu meningkatkan potensi murid-murid bukan penutur jati yang mengalami masalah dalam kemahiran membaca. Implikasi kajian menunjukkan bahawa guru bukan sahaja perlu mengajar murid agar mereka dapat menguasai teknik menjawab soalan peperiksaan dengan baik malah perlu mengajar murid berkaitan dengan kefahaman bacaan supaya mereka dapat memahami teks yang dibaca.

Metode yang kami gunakan adalah metode studi pustaka. Metode ini digunakan sebagai metode untuk mencari informasi dari jurnal atau artikel ilmiah. Dalam penelitian ini, kami menghubungkan manfaat yang didapat ketika guru pembimbing menggunakan metode Home Visit. Ketika guru menggunakan metode home room, guru melakukan kegiatan bimbingan, pemecahan masalah, dan terapi wicara dapat dilakukan di rumah siswa dengan bantuan orang tua siswa. Saat menggunakan kedua metode tersebut secara bersamaan. Guru dapat melakukan bimbingan, pemecahan masalah siswa, dan terapi wicara secara Face To Face atau dengan siswa saja di rumah siswa.

This research aims to describe Suffix Komering language spoken by Komering community in Ogan Komering Ulu District (OKU). The problem of this research is how the variant, function and meaning of Komering language suffix. To solve the problem and the purpose of the study was used a qualitative descriptive method with interpretative analysis. The results of the study prove that the type of suffix in the Komering language is as follows: (1) suffix - usually attached to the verb or verb. The suffix works as a noun, (2) suffix in other Komering languages is -wan, -jan, -ko, suffix -i, suffix -na. Function suix -i works to form imperative active verbs. Suffix -wan functions to form nouns, Sufiks -jan function form nouns, Sufiks -ko function as transitive active verb formers. Sui-ii works as a passive verb form. The suffix works as a adjective or adjective.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan sufiks bahasa Komering yang dituturkan oleh masyarakat Komering di Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU). One of the factors of the low ability of students' mathematical problem solving is because students think that mathematics is a difficult subject. After all, mathematics requires accuracy in calculations. The purpose of the study was to determine the types of students' mistakes in problem-solving based on Newman's theoretical procedures and to find out why students made these mistakes. The research method used is qualitative. The research subjects were 4 grade VIII students for the 2020/2021 academic year at Kp Cilengkeng Ds Wangunjaya, Banjarwangi District. The data collection techniques used observation, test questions, and interviews, while the data analysis techniques used the Milles and Huberman model. The results showed that students made mistakes only at the stage of understanding the problem as much as 31.25%, while at the stage of process skills as much as 50% and at the stage of writing the final answer as much as 12.50%. The factors that cause students to do this are not being able to understand the questions well, not being familiar with the questions given by the researcher, not being able to transform their language sentences to compile steps to make a line diagram, not taking good time, not being careful, hurry and not. can conclude a problem using their language sentences.

Penelitian ini secara khusus membahas novel­novel Indonesia karya Suparto Brata. Masalah yang dibahas meliputi eksotisme, bahasa, indentitas, dan resistensi terhadap kekuasaan kolonial ditinjau dari perspektif pascakolonial. Dari pembahasan yang dilakukan diperoleh hasil bahwa dalam novel­novel karya Suparto Brata tampak jelas bahwa kekuasaan kolonial (Belanda dan Jepang) masih memandang pribumi sebagai masyarakat yang eksotis, yang bodoh, yang perlu dibina agar menjadi pandai. Sementara itu, bahasa kolonial (Belanda dan Jepang) masih dipandang sebagai bahasa yang tinggi derajatnya sehingga jika pribumi hendak memperoleh derajat (identitas) yang setara harus mampu berbahasa Belanda dan Jepang. Berkenaan dengan hal itu, berkat kepandaian yang ditanamkan oleh pemerintah kolonial, yang antara lain melalui penguasaan bahasa dan pengetahuan atau budaya Barat, masyarakat pribumi justru memanfaatkan hal itu sebagai upaya untuk melakukan resistensi terhadap kekuasaan dalam rangka mencapai kemerdekaan (kebebasan) penuh. Abstract: The research is particularly a discussion on the Indonesian novels written by Suparto Brata. The problem under discussion involves the issues of exoticism, language, identity, and resistance against the colonial powers in the perspective of post­colonialism. From the analysis, Suparto Brata’s novels obviously delineate that the colonial powers (Dutch and Japan) were so underestimating the natives as exotic, unintelligent folks, that such people was necessary to be taught for them to be more educated. Also, the colonial languages (Dutch and Japanese) were so highly perceived that the natives were to be enforced to speak those languages if they wanted their social status (identity) to be regarded equal. Accordingly, owing to such intelligences endowed from the colonial rulers, among others are the language skill and the knowledge on Western cultures, the native people then took the benefits by way of making resistance against the colonial powers under the agenda of full independence (freedom). Kemudian, semakin banyaknya peminat masyarakat tanah air dengan bahasa Arab, maka otomatis dibutuhkan pula pengajar yang kompeten dalam bidang bahasa Arab. Sistem pengajaran bahasa Arab di Indosesia secara umum, dari dulu hingga sekarang masih banyal lembaga pendidikan terutama pesantren menggunakan metode dan keterampilan yang sama, tidak berkembang. Salah satu metode yang digunakan adalah metode al-qawāid wa al-tajamah. Metode ini kekurangannya adalah tidak memperhatikan empat keterampilan berbahasa Arab, yaitu istima’(menyimak), kalam (berbicara), qirāah (membaca), dan kitābah (menulis). Metode ini banyak mengasah keterampilan membaca saja. Oleh karena itu, dipandang perlu adanya penulisan terkait masalah ini dengan meneliti tentang penerapan keterampilan berbahasa Arab bersumber dari buku paduan pembelajaran bahasa arab untuk non penutur asli (non Arab), yaitu kitāb al-Idhāāt karya ‘Abdurrahman al-Fauzan. Adapun bentuk dari riset ini ialah studi literatur (kitab-kitab) yang sifatnya kualitatif, dalam metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode library research (studi pustaka) yang sumber utamanya (primer) adalah Kitāb al-Idhāāt yang fokus pada pembahasa penerapan keterampilan bahasa Arab untuk non Arab (‘ajam). Penulis berharap dengan teralisasinya penelitian ini para pengajar bahasa Arab di Nusantara mampu menerapkan keterampilan berbahasa Arab yang empat, yaitu keterampilan istima’(menyimak), kalam (berbicara), qirāah (membaca), dan kitābah (menulis) dengan maksimal. Abstract Arabic is the language of the Islamic ummah, a language that has spread throughout the world, including Indonesia, which has a diversity of ethnicities, cultures and languages. However, the diversity of languages in the archipelago does not cover the languages that have entered from abroad, including Arabic. Even the Indonesian language has adopted many of the Arabic language. Then, with the increasing number of homeland enthusiasts using Arabic, it automatically requires teachers who are competent in the field of Arabic. The Arabic language teaching system in Indonesia in general, from the past until now, many educational institutions, especially Islamic boarding schools, use the same methods and skills, not developed. One of the methods used is the al-qawāid wa al-tajamah method. The drawback of this method is that it does not pay attention to the four Arabic language skills, namely istima '(listening), kalam (speaking), qirāah (reading), and kitābah (writing). This method hones a lot of reading skills only. Therefore, it is deemed necessary to write about this problem by examining the application of Arabic language skills sourced from the Arabic language learning guide book for non-native speakers (non-Arabic), namely kitāb al-Idhāāt by 'Abdurrahman al-Fauzan. The form of this research is the study of literature (books) which are qualitative in nature, in this research method using the library research method (literature study) whose main source (primary) is Kitāb al-Idhāāt which focuses on the application of Arabic language skills for non Arabic ('ajam). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKS biologi berbasis masalah yang layak untuk topik perubahan lingkungan/iklim dan daur ulang limbah serta mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan LKS biologi berbasis masalah terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan karakter peduli lingkungan siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan menurut model Borg & Gall. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket validasi LKS, angket karakter peduli lingkungan, soal kemampuan pemecahan masalah, lembar observasi penilaian produk daur ulang limbah dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. From the experience and observation of the author, during this learning of Mathematics generally only solve the problem alone, without familiarize the students to compile their own questions. So that students are less able to use their own language in solving the given problem. Language factor is less calculated as a possible one of the causal factors. ELPSA is a design/learning framework consisting of 5 component sequences, one of which is language. In learning ELPSA students are accustomed to asking productive and effective questions. This study aims to analyze the students' language skills in ELPSA learning design on the ability to issue Mathematical problems in terms of the cognitive thinking style. This study is a descriptive qualitative research. The subject of this research was conducted in class VIII SMP 1 Maluk. Its divided into two groups. With one group is given conventional learning and one group get learning using ELPSA design. The instrument used is Matching Familiar Figure Test (MFFT) to find out the type of cognitive style of each student and the Matter of Matter Problem Matter. Based on research that has been done, obtained results group of students reflective dominant than Impulsive students. In the student's ability to pose mathematical problems, Reflective student groups are better than Impulsive. While on the average score on the ability to solve Mathematics problems, Learning using ELPSA design is higher than learning without using ELPSA. That is, ELPSA learning design can help students develop language skills especially in raising math problems.

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen tes keterampilan pemecahan masalah peserta didik yang valid dan reliabel pada konsep usaha dan energi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan model pengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari tahap define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Hasil uji validasi oleh ahli dan praktisi ditinjau dari aspek materi, aspek konstruksi, dan aspek bahasa. Berdasarkan hasil uji validasi ahli diperoleh presentase skor 94.23% untuk aspek materi, 89.00% untuk aspek konstruksi, 80.00% untuk aspek bahasa dan berdasarkan uji validasi praktisi di peroleh presentase skor 97.95% untuk aspek materi, 96.00% untuk aspek konstruksi, 92.50% untuk aspek bahasa serta dinyatakan valid pada uji validasi empiris dengan reliabilitas 0,839805 kategori tinggi pada uji terbatas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan instrumen tes yang dikembangkan telah valid dan reliabel. <p>Fiqh, like the law in general, always faces new problems (nawāzil) that need solutions through ijtihad. To establish the law of the problem of fiqh nawazil, a standard method of ijtihad is needed. Through this research, the author seeks to review the literature related to ijtihad fiqh nawazil to be assembled into a standard method, which is then compared with the procedure of establishing fatwa of the Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI) and used as a theory to dissect MUI fatwa related to Covid-19. From the results of the study of related literature, ijtihad fiqh nawazil can be conducted by three methods, namely bayānī, ta’līlī, and istiṣlaḥī, which are then practiced through three stages, namely taṣawwur al-masalat, takyīf fiqhī, and taṭbīq al-ahkām. Although there is a slight difference in the aspect of language between the methods and stages of the ijtihad fiqh nawazil with the MUI fatwa establishment procedure, both have the same substance, so it can be concluded that the fatwa establishment procedure of the MUI has included three stages of the ijtihad fiqh nawazil methods. This is increasingly seen in the MUI fatwa decree related to Covid-19, especially in the Law on the Use of AstraZeneca Vaccine.</p><p><em>Fikih, sebagaimana hukum pada umumnya, akan selalu menemui masalah-masalah baru (nawāzil) yang membutuhkan solusi melalui proses ijtihad. Untuk menentukan hukum dari masalah fikih nawāzil, diperlukan metode ijtihad yang baku. Melalui penelitian ini, penulis berupaya mengkaji literatur-literatur yang berkaitan dengan ijtihad fikih nawāzil untuk dapat dirangkai menjadi sebuah metode baku, yang kemudian dikomparasikan dengan prosedur penetapan fatwa Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI), serta digunakan sebagai teori untuk membedah fatwa-fatwa MUI terkait Covid-19. Dari hasil pengkajian literatur-literatur terkait, ijtihad fikih nawāzil dapat dilakukan dengan tiga metode, yaitu bayānī, ta’līlī, dan istiṣlaḥī, yang kemudian dipraktikkan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu taṣawwur al-masalat, takyīf fiqhī, dan taṭbīq al-ahkām. Meskipun terdapat sedikit perbedaan dari aspek kebahasaan antara metode dan tahapan ijtihad fikih nawāzil tersebut dengan prosedur penetapan fatwa MUI, keduanya memiliki substansi yang sama, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa prosedur penetapan fatwa MUI telah mencakup tiga tahapan dari metode ijtihad fikih nawāzil tersebut. Hal ini semakin terlihat implementasinya dalam Surat Keputusan Fatwa MUI terkait Covid-19, terkhusus tentang Hukum Penggunaan Vaksin Covid-19 Produk Astrazeneca.</em></p>

This study examines the maintenance of Bugis language in the Wara neighborhood, Ambon City. As a language brought by immigrants from South Sulawesi, the Bugis language is a minority language that is in the midst of the majority language, namely Ambonese Malay. According to experts that the existence of minority languages in an area will melt into the majority language but in fact the Bugis language remains used in daily communication among ethnic groups. The research problem is how is the defense of Bugis language in Ambon and what factors support this achievement. The purpose of this study was to see how far the Bugis language was preserved in Ambon City and what factors supported the defense. This study uses the method of observation and interviews with respondents. The results showed that the Bugis ethnic community in Ambon City, especially Bugis who lived in the Wara environment still used Bugis language in the family realm, the realm of neighboring, the realm of work, the realm of education, and the realm of religion. Factors of loyalty of speakers and Bugis ethnic community organizations are the things that most support the defense of Bugis in Ambon City, especially in the Wara Neighborhood.Kajian ini meneliti tentang pemertahanan bahasa Bugis di Lingkungan Wara, Kota Ambon. Sebagai bahasa yang dibawa oleh pendatang dari Sulawesi Selatan, bahasa Bugis merupakan bahasa minoritas yang berada di tengah-tengah bahasa mayoritas, yakni bahasa Melayu Ambon.menurut para ahli bahwa keberadaan bahasa minoritas di suatu daerah akan lebur ke dalam bahasa mayoritas namun kenyatannya bahasa Bugis tetap digunakan dalam komunikasi sehari-hari di antara sesama etnis. Masalah penelitian adalah bagaimanakah pemertahanan bahasa Bugis di Ambon dan factor-faktor apakah yang mendukung pemerthanan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat sejauhmana pemertahanan bahasa Bugis di Kota Ambon dan factor-faktor apa yang mendukung pemertahanan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara terhadap responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa masyarakat etnis Bugis di Kota Ambon, khususnya etnis Bugis yang tinggal di Lingkungan Wara masih menggunakan bahasa Bugis pada ranah keluarga, ranah ketetanggaan, ranah pekerjaan, ranah pendidikan, dan ranah agama. Factor loyalitas penutur dan organisasi masyrakat etnis Bugis merupakan hal yang paling mendukung pemertahanan bahasa Bugis di Kota Ambon, khususnya di Lingkungan Wara.

Many students in any research report usually have problems in finding ideas to write and constructing sentences. This study was initially intended to solve those kinds of problem. The integration of writing process with Quantum Learning framework was the strategy implemented in this study. The result showed that the integration of writing process with Quantum Learning framework could make students’ writing better and enable the students to actively participate during the teaching and learning process.</p><strong>Abstrak:</strong> Rumitnya menulis membuat pengajaran bahasa Inggris lebih menantang bagi beberapa guru bahasa Inggris untuk membantu para pesertadidik menghadapi kesulitan dalam menulis. Dalam setiap laporan penelitian, beberapa siswa biasanya memiliki masalah dalam menemukan ide untuk menulis dan menyusun kalimat. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk memecahkan masalah-masalah tersebut. This research aims to improve HOTS (High Order Thinking Skill) in learning Indonesian through the Problem Based Learning Model at IAKN Manado. This research uses descriptive qualitative analytic method. Based on the research results obtained (1) Problem-based learning model (PBM) is a learning model that requires students to think critically and creatively in answering or solving problems related to learning Indonesian language. The problem is related to language skills, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing, but is more focused on productive skills, which are speaking and writing. In applying this model, students become active, creative, and critical in solving problems. (2) Critical and creative attitude in solving problems in learning Indonesian language can directly improve the high-level thinking skills (HOTS) of IAKN Manado students. That means HOTS (High Order Thinking Skill) or the ability to think at a higher level is one of the skills or abilities that students need to have in finding solutions to the problems offered in learning Indonesian language. Problem Based Learning Model is one of the learning models that can improve HOTS. Conclusion: Based on the results of the analysis related to the development of student ability as evidenced by the initial test, test cycle 1, and test cycle 2. In the initial test, the score is dominated by score 1 with an interval of 0-39 reached a percentage of 48%, while a score 4 with an interval of 85-100 reached 0%. At the end of cycle 1, an increase in score 4, which increased to 15%, while score 1 decreased to 7% and the same result applies to the end value of cycle 2. In cycle 2 the score 4 continued to increase and reached a percentage of 30%. The data shows that the application of the problem based learning model in the Indonesian Language course at IAKN Manado was able to improve higher order thinking skills (HOTS). Suggestions: 1) Problem-based learning model is able to encourage students to develop and improve critical and creative thinking skills in efforts to solve problems. This shows that the application of problem based learning model can improve higher order thinking skills (HOTS). 2) Problem-based learning model is able to improve the ability to think at a higher level (HOTS) which is portrayed through an increasingly critical and creative way of thinking and encourage all the potentials in students. In addition, problem-based learning can increase the courage of students so that they are automatically active in learning activities. Problem-based learning model can be used in learning Indonesian language and other subjects as well.

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengambilan subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII MIPA. Pengambilan subjek dilakukan dengan memberikan tes kemampuan awal kepada siswa yang kemudian dari hasil tersebut dipilih 4 subjek penelitian berdasarkan kategori yang ada. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah, tes tertulis kemampuan komunikasi matematis pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan komunikasi tertulis subjek penelitian baik pada indikator kemampuan dalam menuliskan informasi yang terdapat dalam soal dan menentukan tujuan utama yang akan dicapai. Akan tetapi subjek penelitian lemah dalam kemampuan meuliskan operasi matematika sesuai dengan maksud soal, menggunakan gambar ataupun notasi ilmiah dalam menyelesaikan masalah, menyajikan representasi menyeluruh terhadap konsep yang digunakan serta menuliskan kesimpulan jawaban kedalam bahasa sehari-hari. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menambah wawasan tentang kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa SMA baik secara lisan ataupun tulisan pada materi khususnya dalam mengerjakan soal kontekstual sehingga dalam proses pembelajaran siswa mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berkomunikasi dalam bahasa matematika. This type of research is descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The subject of this research are students of class XII. The instrument used are written mathematical communication ability test and interview guidelines. The results showed the ability of written communication of research subject are writing information contained in the questions and define the main objectives to be achieved. But the subject are weak in the ability meuliskan mathematical operations in accordance with the purpose of questions, use of pictures or scientific notation in solving a problem, presenting a representation of the entire to the concept that is used and write a conclusion answer into daily language. The results of this study are expected to add insight about the mathematical communication ability, especially in working on contextual so that in the process of learning students are able to improve the ability to communicate in the language of mathematics. Thus, research should not only focus on assessing the success of an individual in obtaining language but must also relate how the individual's language learning background is related to the achievement of language acquisition. This article will focus on the discussion of written language production with the subject of jasmine, which is a native speaker of Mandarin. By reviewing the background of the subject's bilingualism, it is expected to be able to provide an overview and answer the question "how is the achievement of someone who learns a foreign language if he learns a second language after passing a critical period, then takes education to obtain language (nurture), and a coordinate billingualism, if measured after study the language for five years and four months? "the results of the research show that Melati has the following language skills (1) in terms of readability, able to write with the appropriate complexity for college level students (2) able to build relationships between words, sentences, and paragraphs but at the word level there are still some problems (3) which tend to produce difficult sentences to understand when writing more complex sentences.Keberhasilan pemerolehan bahasa kedua dan bahasa berikutnya dipengaruhi banyak faktor, baik yang menyangkut dari dalam diri individu maupun yang berasal lingkungan. Penelitian mengenai bahasa kedua seharusnya tidak hanya berfokus pada menilai keberhasilan dari seorang individu dalam memeperoleh bahasa tetapi juga harus menghubungkan bagaimana latar belakang belajar bahasa individu dalam kaitannya dengan pencapaian pemerolehan berbahasanya. Artikel ini akan fokus pada pembahasan produksi bahasa tulis dengan subjek melati, yaitu seorang penutur asli bahasa Mandarin. Dengan meninjau latar belakang bilingualisme subjek diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran dan menjawab pertanyaan “seberapa pencapaian seseorang yang belajar bahasa asing bila ia belajar bahasa kedua setelah melewati critical period, kemudian menempuh pendidikan untuk memperoleh bahasa (nurture), dan seorang yang coordinate billingualism, bila diukur setelah mempelajari bahasa selama lima tahun empat bulan?” hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Melati memiliki kemampuan bahasa sebagai berikut (1) secara keterbacaan, mampu menulis dengan kerumitan yang sesuai untuk pelajar tingkat perguruan tinggi (2) mampu membangun hubungan antar kata, kalimat, dan paragraf namun pada tataran kata masih ditemukan beberapa masalah (3) cenderung menghasilkan kalimat sulit dipahami saat menulis kalimat yang lebih kompleks.

Abstract:
This study aims to produce products in the form of mathematical problem-solving ability questions based on Bengkulu local wisdom that are valid, clear, and have a good level of difficulty and discriminatory index. The subjects in this study were 30 grade VIII students of SMPN 07 Bengkulu Selatan. This development research was conducted using the Tessmer model which consisted of preliminary, self-evaluation, expert review, one-to-one, and small group stages. The data analysis used was qualitative analysis at the expert review stage to determine the validation of the questions, both in terms of content, construction, and language; one-to-one process analysis to find out the clarity of the questions, and quantitative analysis of the results of the small group to determine the characteristics of good questions based on the level of difficulty and the index of discriminating power of the questions. Based on the results of data analysis, this study produced 7 standardized questions from 10 questions that had gone through the expert review, one-to-one, and small group stages. Standardization can be seen from the level of difficulty and a good item discriminatory index.

Abstract:
Mathematical connection ability is one of the abilities needed in solving mathematical problems. In solving problems, each student has a different way of solving it. This is due to the variety of intelligence that the students possess. This intelligence is known as Adversity Quotient (AQ). There are three levels of AQ namely climbers, campers, and quitters. This study aimed to describe the students' mathematical connections ability in solving mathematical problems related to their AQ. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach carried out in Class IX of MTs Negeri Gresik consisting of three students who have different levels of AQ. The research instrument used consisted of the Adversity Response Profile (ARP) questionnaire, problem solving Test, and interview guidelines. The results of this study indicate that: at the stage of understanding the problem, climbers and campers students could retell with their language different from quitters students who change the language of questions with different meanings, at the stage of preparing a plan, climbers students understand the relationship of problems with mathematical concepts and life everyday and plan quite coherently and clearly while students campers and quitters understand the relationship of problems with mathematical concepts and everyday life and plan quite well, at the stage of implementing the plan, climbers and campers students could find the right answers while students quitters find the answers that are not yet correct, in the stage of looking back, climbers students do the checking again so that they could give the right conclusions while the campers and quitters students do not do the checks again but could provide conclusions that are quite precise.
