Abstract:

Contact allergy to various components in cosmetics may cause eyelid dermatitis. Of 8 mascaras analysed with High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), 3 contained colophony. Patients with contact allergy to colophony showed positive patch test reactions when tested with the two mascaras with the highest content of colophony. One mascara without colophony but containing nickel, gave positive reactions in persons with contact allergy to nickel.

We report the discovery of MASCARA-3b, a hot Jupiter orbiting its bright (V = 8.33) late F-type host every 5.55149 ± 0.00001 days in an almost circular orbit (e = 0.050−0.017+0.020). This is the fourth exoplanet discovered with the Multi-site All-Sky CAmeRA (MASCARA), and the first of these that orbits a late-type star. Follow-up spectroscopic measurements were obtained in and out of transit with the Hertzsprung SONG telescope. As geleiadas foram elaboradas com polpa de maçã, água, suco de limão, pectina e 20, 35, 50 e 65% de açúcar mascavo em relação à quantidade de polpa. Abstract Source mechanisms of the Melilla, Alhoceima, and Mascara earthquakes, including fault-plane solutions, waveform modeling, and spectral analysis, are presented. Strike-slip solutions have been obtained for the Melilla and Alhoceima earthquakes and reverse faulting for Mascara.
