Abstract:
The article presents the results of studying formation of plum seedlings under drip irrigation in conditions of the Central Non-Black Soil Region of Russia. Field research was carried out on the territory of the training and experimental farming, fruit-growing laboratory “Michurinsky Garden” of the Russian State Agrarian University - Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy. The factors studied were soil irrigation regimes (60-80, 70-90, 80-100% of the lowest moisture capacity) and plum varieties (“Utro” and “Mashenka”). The results of the experiment showed that plum seedlings grown under conditions of insufficient and uneven moistening were characterized by the lowest biometric indices. The most severe lack of soil moisture was observed during intensive growth (May - early June). Insufficient and uneven moistening with intervals of reduced moistening leads to several growth waves in plants. In the seedlings grown under drip irrigation the second and third waves of growth were not observed. In irrigation variants, the root system of seedlings was mainly located in the upper arable layer of the soil which was best supplied with nutrients, had the lowest density and favorable air regime. Location of root system along the drip line and at the depth of 30 cm facilitated transferring seedlings to nurseries and ensured less damage to them during transplantation.

Abstract:
Aim. To clarify the biological characteristics of some Chinese calistephus cultivars, to identify sources of resistance to Fusarium wilt in the Kyivska oblast. Results and Discussion. The Chinese calistephus gene pool collection of the Institute of Horticulture NAAS (IH), which includes 104 accessions belonging to 33 varieties, was the test material. Evaluation of the collection gene pool showed that 65 Chinese calistephus accessions were almost not affected by Fusarium. Thirty-one cultivars were weakly affected by this pathogen; five cultivars were severely affected; three cultivars - very strongly. Most of the resistant industrial cultivars are intended as cut plants (bouquets). The infestation level in the collection Chinese calistefus cultivars, differing in decorativeness, was assessed. It was found that 65 collection cultivars (62.5%) were very highly resistant. In 47 cultivars (37.5%) of the entire collection, Fusarium-induced damage varied 3 to 30%. However, there are high-quality cultivars (in terms of their ornamental characteristics) where 7-53% plants die because of Fusarium annually. Highly resistant to Fusarium cultivars are also referred to the folowing varieties: Printsessa, Khudozhestvennaya, Troiandopodibna, and others. Analyzing the Calistefus seed productivity, we can see that the average seed productivity per plant (g/bush) of Fusarium-susceptible cultivars is always lower than that of resistant cultivars belonging to the same variety. Conclusion. It was found that 65 accessions (62.5% of the total number of the collection accessions) were sources of resistance to Fusarium wilt. These include IH-bred cultivars: Mashenka, Letnyaya Noch, Tsarevna, Sofiya, Yantarnaya, Krasunia, Shokoladka, Flamingo, Mriya, and others. Forty-seven highly decorative cultivars (95-99 points), i.e. 45.2% of the entire collection, showed 3 - 30% Fusarium-induced damage. It was revealed that the average seed productivity per plant (g/bush) of Fusarium-susceptible cultivars was always lower than that of cultivars which are resistant to this pathogen. It was proven that the longer the anthesis, the more frequently plants got affected by Fusarium.

Abstract:
The effect of pre-harvest treatment of gooseberry bushes (GROSSULARIA RECLINAT (L.) MILL) of cv. Mashenka with a 0.3% aqueous solution of ethylene product on the yield and quality characteristics of berries, quantitative changes in the content of structural polysaccharides during ripening were studied. The experiments were carried out in the field from 2015 to 2017. The experimental sites were randomly chosen, there were five bushes in a row, the repetition of the field experiment was fivefold. The plants were treated with 0.3% aqueous esphone two weeks prior to berry harvesting using an OP-2 backpack. The berries under analysis were selected every four days after treatment with the preparation. The polysaccharide content was determined on a fixed material. The berries were fixed in the field with liquid nitrogen, dried in a drying oven at 70º C to air - dry state. The determination of cellulose and pectin content was carried out by weight method, hemicellulose and non-structural carbohydrates (sugars and starch) in gooseberry fruits were carried out by iodometric method. To evaluate the quality of the berries, their analysis for total acidity was performed by potentiometric titration, ascorbic acid was determined using potassium hexacyanoferrate. The analytical replicability of the studies is fivefold. Statistical processing of the results was performed using the computer program ‘Statistica-6’. The significance of the difference between the control and experiment indicators was determined by Student's t-test. It is found out that on the fourth, eighth and twelfth days, the content of reducing sugars, sucrose and their amounts in the berries treated with ethyleneproducer plants was higher than in the control sample. A more intense decrease in the total acidity of the berries of the experimental sample was observed, while the ascorbic acid content did not change significantly. A higher amylase activity in berries due to ethylene products during ripening was also established, resulting in a faster decrease in the starch content in the berries and an increase in the sugar content. Pre-harvesting of gooseberry with ethylene product esphone leads to increased accumulation of pectic substances in the products, a more intensive hydrolysis of structural polysaccharides in comparison with the control sample, which serves as an indicator of more intense maceration of fetal tissues. The use of pre-harvest processing of gooseberry with ethylene product esphone has led to increased yields and higher quality of gooseberry crop production and has many prospects for the development of mechanized harvesting technologies.

Abstract:
The article deals with a topical question of modern literary studies – research, development and approbation of the active forms of mastering the fiction poetics. The article indicates the existing methods of the artistic creations in literature classes, describes the prospects of the educational quest and the main stages of realization of the quest as an educational technology. The article represents the quest based on the creative works by Vladimir Nabokov, the process and results of its testing on participants with different levels of knowledge (freshmen philologists and high school students). In understanding the methodological principles of working with space in the lessons of literature, we rely on the works of E. I. Korostileva, Yu. G. Pykhtina, S. V. Kashirina, A. K. Gaisina, Yu. G. Pykhina, O. I. Fedotov. When developing the quest, three methodological grounds were taken into account. 1. The use of analytical types of tasks. 2. Reliance on the literary tradition of the study of artistic space. 3. Literary analysis should precede the methodical development of the quest. Approbation showed that the process of passing the quest makes the participants deep into the creative world of the novel “Mashenka” by V. Nabokov and helps with structuring not only artistic creation but also the fiction poetics in general (plot logic, dynamics of the character development, etc.). The comprehension of the fictional structure and the author’s concept of work through the quest is achieved in a rather short period.
