Abstract:
Motivation is an important management tool, especially in those organisations that are heavily dependent on the skills and ability of men rather than on machines. The police department is one such organisation which still today, despite modernisation, is human oriented. Police managers need to understand methods for motivating officers and men working under them. Maslow's Theory of Hierarchy of Needs provides a simple yet effective way of motivating employees. A study conducted in the Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra State (India) provides an insight into the motivating needs of police officers and men in the district. The study also points towards the steps that senior police managers need to take in order to have a highly motivated police force.

Social science theories are expressive acts by their authors, and thus reflect their authors' life experiences and developmental tasks. Maslow's theory of human motivation and Alderfer's conception of existence, relatedness, and growth (ERG) needs are frameworks accounting for the same phenomena. An alternative to Maslow's formulation, ERG theory was presented during a later historical period than its predecessor, and at an earlier stage of its author's life. In this autobiographical account, the author describes his childhood and adolescent origins and the events that led him to formulate ERG theory, examines the life stages at which he and Maslow developed their theories, and discusses how aspects of the authors' lives might account for similarities and differences in their conceptual products.

Teorias Motivacionais. Maslow. Herzberg. Comportamento Humano. AbstractThis article aims to discuss some theories of human motivation, to bring a brief summary of the main motivational theories. Initially, it brings the concept of motivation, approaching some authors of the area, then some motivational theories are approached, contextualizing reports of authors of the area through bibliographical research in books as well as in articles. Abstract:
In this article, we examine the macroeconomic parameter final consumption (FC) by assuming it is an indicator of human development; the latter, ultimately, determines the socio-economic conditions in society. The aim is to bind the aggregate final consumption to human needs. For this purpose, the methodology of the analysis grows up on two pillars: on the side of human needs we take Maslow's theory of motivation, and on the side of the economy, we take the product structure of total final consumption. By analogy, based on a theoretical analysis, we constructed a model, which describes the basic human needs classified by Maslow [1], in economic terms. We tested empirically the model, especially, the hierarchy of the five product categories of FC referred to basic human needs. Other hypotheses about relationships between this product structure of FC and the socio-economic standard are also under consideration

Abstract:
A well-designed office environment is often touted as a key motivator nowdays, although it is not entirely clear how to use it consciously. Our goal was to understand the role of the physical environment in new generation offices and whether it can be a motivator at all. We asked open-office employees to describe the three main criteria of an excellent work environment. We analyzed 509 participants' 1456 answers and classified them into 146 content codes. These content codes were further categorized based on whether they refer to the physical or/and the social environment, as well as along the eight needs Maslow described. 82.07 % of the answers referred to the physical environment, ambient stimuli dominated the sample with 324 mentions under 6 content codes (eg.: bright (128), quiet (69)). The majority (55.59 %) of the responses could be categorized under Maslow’s safety needs, but 14.15 % of them referred to one of Maslow’s growth needs (eg.: plants (26), decoration (21)). Using the intersection of Maslow's and Herzberg's theory, we argue that certain physical environmental aspects can be considered as a hygiene factor, some of them as a motivator. And some of them as both meaning some aspects can be considered on more level from an emotional-motivational perspective. Planning an office is not just an architectural question, but a psychological one as well. In order to design human-focused work places we need to understand the exact role and the layering of the physical environmental aspects.

Abstract:
Motivation is a complex subject, addressed by different researchers who elaborate theories aiming explain the motivational phenomenon and its influence on human behavior. Among the theories of motivation, an important theory is Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs that relates people's motivation needs set. In this way, the present study aimed to analyze the degree of satisfaction and motivational question of people for the physiological, safety, social, esteem and self-fulfillment needs. The study was accomplished in a company of the mechanical sector, located in the Western Center region of Paraná. For the study, a questionnaire was applied to 40 people, with different characteristics, such as age, gender, schooling and family income. Based on the results, it was found that, in general, the interviewees are satisfied with the physiological needs, such as food, housing, clothing and rest, but other needs, arranged in other levels of the pyramid of Maslow, do not were completely fulfilled and, therefore, result in dissatisfaction due to the absence of motivational stimuli.

This paper is the second part of a work that aims to rethink the concept of beauty as close as possible to its essence and in a way that integrates the science of aesthetics with the field of construction. Within other theoretical and practical works, this study may be further used to physically reflect the definition of beauty in areas such as architecture, civil engineering or urban planning and support professionals in designing and building beautiful objects and constructions. However, it has to be added that the assumption that there must be a particular original aspect related to beauty that leads a human-made object to success, needs to be further identified. The approach to the concept of beauty is through a general philosophical perspective and partially through the areas mentioned above. The second part of the study includes the synthesised guidance provided by Monroe Beardsley through the theories on beauty from the nineteenth century until today. In addition, it comprises the scheme of concepts that characterised the beautiful in this time, including the lines that guided its study, previous ideas that support our later views on presented theory, and a brief exposition of Maslow's theory of human motivation followed by our theory on beauty and the conclusions.

Abstract:
Its role determines the succession of the process of administering education. Ignoring human resources is the same as making a death hole for educational institutions. It is on the basis of the urgency of human Resources that the concept and model of human Resources management emerge in educational institutions. In general, the concept can be categorized into two models. [1] human Resources as a person who has motivation, commitment and morality. Thus, the management efforts carried out must be in order to improve the overall personality above; [2] human Resources as a unified system in educational institutions. The efforts made by the manager are to build a system and a model that becomes a reference and performance guide for all human Resources. human Resources motivation is related to psychological drives that are influenced by two factors, namely internal and external, or intrinsic and extrinsic. Internal factors can be influenced by basic human needs as Maslow's theory. human Resources commitment is related to identification of feelings, participation and loyalty to the organization. So if you want to know someone's commitment then you can see their loyalty to the organization.

Abstract:
This paper discusses the link between motivation and performance, and established what makes motivation to have a central role in getting high performances from employees in organizations. It was revealed from the review that there are several motivational theories used by employers at different situations when they want their employees to highly perform. As motivation is to influence employees to perform, hence; performance is the evaluation with respect to acknowledged tasks, objectives, goal line and rational anticipations linked with a role, occupation in an organization. This paper has looked at some of these theories that have been proven and accepted by the general public. They comprise Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, McGregor’s theories x and y, McClelland’s theory of learned needs, Alderfer’s ERG theory, Herzberg’s two-factor theory, Vroom’s expectancy theory and different types of motivation, such as intrinsic and extrinsic. It is evident from the literature reviewed that all theories were established on some experimentations or observations, as a result they are just written ends about a tested situation. Though circumstances can be comparable, they will perhaps by no means be the same. Also, studies have showed that highly motivated employees that are productive and innovative can lead the organization to success through the achievement of its desired results.

Abstract:
The migration of physicians from low-resource to high-resource settings is a prevalent global phenomenon that is insufficiently understood. Most low-income countries are severely understaffed with physicians, and the emigration of the already limited number of physicians to other countries can significantly reduce access to healthcare in the source country. Despite a growing interest in global capacity building in these countries by academic and non-governmental organizations in high-income countries, efforts to stem physician migration have been mostly unsuccessful. The authors reviewed the current literature for the motivational factors leading to physician migration in the context of Maslow’s hierarchy of human needs. Our study found that financial safety needs were major drivers of physician emigration. However, factors related to self-actualization such as the desire for professional development through training opportunities and research, were also major contributors. These findings highlight the multifactorial nature of physician motivations to emigrate from low-resource countries. Maslow’s Theory of Motivation may provide a useful framework for future studies evaluating the concerns of physicians in low-income countries and as a guide to incentivize retention.

Abstract:
The theoretical bases of motivation of civil servants are considered in the article. The description of the basic motivational theories is presented. Substantive theories of motivation (A. Maslow, K. Alderfer, D. McCleland, F. Hertzberg) are based on the analysis of the motivational sphere of a person, on the direct relationship between satisfaction/dissatisfaction of human needs and motivation. In the procedural theories of motivation (V. Vroom, J. Adams, E. Lock, Porter-Lawler theory), the process of motivation is studied and attention is focused on the influence of external factors on the motivation of a person. On the basis of a review of the achievements of the scientific foundations of motivation, recommendations were made to the heads of the public administration authorities on the implementation of the motivation function. Generalized the main problems of labor motivation, typical for staff, regardless of the form of ownership of the organization. The following problems and obstacles in personnel motivation are identified: the complexity of research and determination of the motives of the individual, the problem of fairness in evaluating the performance of management and staff, dissatisfaction with hygiene factors, complex relationships in the team, inadequate expectations on the part of the employee, many innovations and changes in organization of work, monotony of activity, incompatibility of the worker’s qualification with the level of work, constant changes, stressful situations can cause apathy to slave father. Based on the results of the expert survey, the main problems of labor motivation in public administration bodies were identified. The system of motivating public servants has a number of shortcomings: dissatisfaction with the size of material security, the existence of state-wide interdepartmental and regional differences in the wage rates of civil servants, injustice with individual bonuses. The motivation of public servants is based on the opportunities for career growth, increasing competence, the prestige of working in government bodies, the stability of employment, job satisfaction, the amount of annual leave, good pensions and the opportunity to be involved in significant cases for society.

This is aiming at analyzing motivation’s role in human life to fulfill their needs by focusing to the main character. The concept of American dream can be seen in Louis Zamperini as the main character of this film in principle of life. Hence, this undergraduate thesis has two main objectives to describe the Louis Zamperini’s dreams and to analyze Louis Zamperini’s motivation in his survival as the prisoner of Japan as reflected in the film Unbroken. This research is under a descriptive qualitative method. Therefore, library research is used for compiling both primary data and secondary data. The primary data is adopted from the film, meanwhile the secondary data refer to some sources, such as books, journals, articles, and on-line data from internet. Method of American studies as an interdisciplinary approach is also applied along with theories to analyze the problem formulation in this research. After the data are collected, they are analyzed by using the psychological study approach, and focuses on theory Hierarchy Needs of Abraham Maslow. Maslow’s theory explained the description of motivation based on needs. The hierarchy dividing to physiological needs, safety needs, love needs, esteem needs, and needs for self-actualization. Then, the writer uses American dream concept such as the dream of good life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. The results of this research, the researcher found that Louis Zamperini as the main character what he did in life, there is a motivation that supports him to reach his dream like other immigrants who came to America using this concept in general. The American dream and motivation are still adopted in some American films as popular culture. Hence, it proves that American dream still exists with different style like media of film.

There is a growing recognition that reductionist and mechanistic worldview that we hold of human motivation needs to be revised and transformed. Many attempts have been made in this direction including a more humanistic approach. In the Western world, Maslow‟s needs hierarchy was a first such attempt. However, not many attempts have been made to expand further the concept of self-actualization proposed by Maslow. On the other hand, there was a criticism of his approach as not being rooted in research and the real world. In this article, the authors attempt to explore the similarities between the needs hierarchy as proposed by Maslow (1943, 1954) and the model of „Pancha Kosha‟ or„five sheaths‟ theory as presented in the Taittriya Upanishad

Abstract:
Abstract Water shortages and pollution in China are severe situations caused by rapid economic development and urbanization. The current water-conservation policies focus on implementing new technologies and management strategies at important spatial nodes while neglecting the significance of the response from the community and the public. In this paper, the elements that influence the public participation of water conservation within the community are analyzed and divided into three levels: the internal world elements of the residents, the different individual characters of the residents, and external world elements. Among these three levels, the internal world element level, including the desire to realize oneself, is crucial, as it will significantly strengthen an individual's participation activity once motivated. Based on Maslow's five-level theory of human needs, to establish a model of public participation in water-conservation communities, economic benefits, environmental improvement benefits, and the self-fulfilling satisfaction of participation will become the motivation for the model to function. In a new project, reclaimed water landscapes are established in the community, and eco-recreational activities with water-conservation themes are organized to guide and encourage public participation to foster water-conservation consciousness and to establish aging water-conservation guiding policies and implementation methods in the community.

Abstract:
There are two main motivation theories. a hierarchy of basic needs theory, and an expectancy theory. In a Hyrarchy of basic needs theory, Maslow has stated that the basic needs as a main behaviour direction are structured into a hierarchy. There are five basic human needs. The first: Physiological needs such as: salary, bonus or working condition. The second: the safety needs, such as: safe job environment, job security or health cover. The third, social needs, such as union and team work. The next is self esteem, such as getting an award, medal, certificate or any other recognisition. Then the last is self actualization, for example is by providing an opportunity to share knowledge, skills and eprerience. The evaluation of this theory are: there is no spiritual needs as human basic needs is a main weakness of this theory. Then it is possible that different level of needs have to be satisfied in the same time, or not in hierarchy level or, not always have to be fulfilled in order. The next motivation theory is an Expectancy Theory. This theory is based on three main factors. The first factor is: English teachers will be motivated to work harder if they have a good perception to their own competences in accordance with their job. The second, individual motivation depends on the rewards given when they finish a particular job. Finally, it also depends on their regards to the rewards given from the job that they do. Expectancy theory is a good theory, however, it is not easy to be implemented because the principals should provide various types of reward to satisfy the expectation of their English teachers. Considering the strengths and weaknesses of these two theories, it is better to combine both of them in the practice to get more effective results.

Abstract:
Criminology (as the scientific study of criminal behaviour on the individual and social level) and psychology (as the science, which seeks to understand individuals and groups) pay special attention to motivation – a theoretical construction, used to explain behaviour. In this article the motivation of recipients of bribery is widely investigated. In addition to such well-established motives as greediness, selfishness, prevalence of personal interest, the author analyzes also other criminal behaviour determinants. The works, which are used in this research are of the following authors: John Broadus Watson, Edward Lee Thorndike (Behavioural); Sigmund Freud, Erich Fromm (Psychoanalysis); Carl Rogers, Abraham Maslow (Existential-humanistic theories); William Isaac Thomas (Thomas theorem); Florian Witold Znaniecki (sociological theory); Erik Homburger Erikson (theory on psychosocial development of human beings); Jean William Fritz Piaget (theory of cognitive development); Herbert Lefcourt, Ronald Smith (Locus of Control) etc. As the result of this research the author has concluded that bribe-takers’ behaviour is determined by such psychological constructs as the desire for power, fear, envy, mental deflections, mania, feeling of exclusion, the need for extreme, oppressed creativity.

This research aimed to obtain a deep depiction of self-actualization on the main character in Ford County the stories written by Grisham This research is a study of the psychology of literature, which is analyzed objectively by using the psychological theory of humanistic. The research refers to the combination between motivation theory of Maslow especially in Hierarchy of human needs and the concept of self-actualization by Rogers. In data analysis techniques, qualitative data in the form of expressions, utterances and occasions are needed through the content analysis method and analyzed through a structural literature approach based on the concept of literary theory. The focus of the study is self-actualization of the main characters, which can be observed from the seven short stories of Ford County. The focus of the study then would be divided into sub-focuses, which tends to the hierarchy of human needs, they are physiological needs, safety needs, love needs, self-esteem needs, and self-actualization needs. Another sub-focus is the concept of self-actualization’s achievement in forms of openness for experience, personal existence, strong belief, freedom, and creativity. The result of the research indicates that the main characters of the stories like Rogers, in Blood Drive, and Mack in Fish Files have D-Motivation in their Self-Actualization. Then the main characters of the stories like Raymond in Fetching Raymond, Sidney in Casino, Stanley in Michael Room, Gilbert in Quite Heaven and in Adrian Funny Boy, reflects B-Motivation in their own self-actualization.

Abstract:
Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is a great novel written in the nineteenth century by Mark Twain, the pen name of Samuel Langhorne Clemens. According to critics, this novel was written to criticise practices of slavery in the United States during his time, especially in states along the Mississippi river banks. This research aimed at explaining the hierarchy of needs of Jim and the motivations of his escape. The method used in this research was qualitative, with humans hierarchy of needs by Abraham Maslow employed. The analysis showed that the needs of Jim were divided into three phases, i.e., the phase of Jim as a slave, the phase of Jim as a runaway slave, and the phase of Jim as a free man. The results showed that there were four reasons why Jim decided to escape from Mrs. Watson, his master, i.e., 1) the masters anger at Jim, 2) Jims conscience about himself as the object for capital gain, 3) his freedom as a human, and 4) his own happiness. It is concluded from the research that as a slave, Jim feels that his life needs cannot be fulfilled even when he is already free as long as he can never be reunited with his wife and children, who he thinks will give happiness to him. Based on the theory of Maslows hierarchy of needs, Jims higher level of need is love-and-belonging need.

Among many existing motivational theories, perhaps Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs Theories are widely known. This theory passes a message to us that once a person passes a certain level of need, he is no longer motivated by the level of motivation below. This provides an understanding that a manager or leader or motivator in the organization should know what is needed by subordinates. The need of a daily production worker with staff of managerial staff is different. To provide motivation that can improve performance to both, a motivator must provide different treatment according to their needs.

Abstract:
Providing operational approach to end-users' motivational tendencies in housing facilitates user-centered approach enhancing person-environment congruence. The operational approach is highly critical in case of inaccessibility of end-users in decision making, i.e. mass housing. Therefore, this study aims at explaining end-users' housing motivations from their housing attributes preferences, through a theoretical framework developed based on Maslow's theory. The investigation was carried out by using a self-administered questionnaire conducted on 127 Iranian postgraduate students of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and their spouse who lived alongside them. They were selected from those who lived more than one year in mass housing apartments in Malaysia. Using exploratory factor analysis, the housing attributes preferences were analyzed to underlie the latent structure and relations among them; the extracted factors were also labeled based on the different level of needs. Then, conducting one sample t-test hierarchical tendencies among the different motivational factors were identified. Referring to Maslow's theory to explain the concept and characteristics of housing needs results in identification of two different categories of housing attributes in association with the different level of needs. Accordingly, primary levels of needs that associate with relatively tangible and concrete attributes are more likely to be content-specific and predictable. The higher levels of needs that associate with relatively complicated and abstract attributes are more likely to be problematical, confusing, and non-predictable.

The research, entitled Building Educator Motivation (Self Transcendence) at MI Muhammadiyah Al-Muttaqien aims to determine the role of the institution or the principal as a motivator to optimize teacher performance at MI Muhammadiyah Al-Muttaqien. This research is a research with a qualitative approach that is descriptive. The subjects of this study include principals and teachers who teach at MI Muhammadiyah Al-Muttaqien. The data collection techniques used were interviews and observation. The theory used is Maslow's Hierarchy of Need theory in which there are several levels of needs needed to increase work motivation. In research, this theory is used to determine the achievement of the spiritual needs of teachers who teach at MI Muhammadiyah Al-Muttaqien. Also, whether all the needs contained in Maslow's theory can be met by the institution so that it can increase the work motivation of teachers. The results showed that the role of institutions and school principals in increasing motivation, as well as means of rewarding the performance of teachers is really needed. However, there are shortcomings or limitations in terms of fund allocation and other things that make several things in the level of need not fulfilled. Even though there are deficiencies in this, the enthusiasm of the teachers to continue to teach and be sincere in conveying knowledge are important things that create self-transcendence.

Abstract:
Subject area Food service management, human resource management, hospitality strategic management and, international business and management. Study level/applicability Graduate students. Case overview The purpose of this case study is to determine whether the practice of talent management serves to motivate fast food service employees. It aims to determine employees’ perceived level of awareness and importance of talent management practices; current practice of talent management within the fast food service sector; and to assess the level of motivation of employees from talent management practices. The survey method employing the use of questionnaires was used to ascertain data from a fast food service establishment in Jamaica, a developing island destination located in the Caribbean region (Sinclair-Maragh and Gursoy, 2015). Jamaica is chosen for the study, as there has been an increase in the number of both local and international fast food entities over the years (Collinder, 2014). The focus on fast food service is important, as they have been providing employment to a significant sector of the population. This type of business operation is classified as a tourism related hospitality area (Purcell, 1996) and as indicated by Christensen and Rog (2008), talent management presents an intriguing opportunity for hospitality organizations to attract employees with requisite skills and experience. The industry is also challenged in maintaining motivated employees (Baum, 2008). Talent management can assist organizations that have long-struggled with high turnover rates and the ability to attract and engage employees that are considered assets and not liabilities. Lockwood (2007) points out that engaged employees are loyal, hardworking and passionate about their work. Motivation theory is used to provide theoretical support for the findings of the study. This is because behavioral theorists such as Abraham Maslow suggested that survival, safety, belonging and self-esteem are factors that can be used to motivate employees and Sigmund Freud believes that people need to be rewarded to get work done (Nohria et al., 2008). This theory is plausible to the study, as it is postulated that talent management can enhance employee engagement, through highly motivated employees (Christensen and Rog, 2008). The study finds that majority of the employees understood the meaning of the term “talent management”. In terms of their personal and professional development, the employees believe that these are highly influenced by the organization’s culture. They pointed out that skills are usually developed through training, cross-training and succession planning. Financial assistance is given for further training and skill development. The performance evaluation process is used to identify employees’ specific skill. Although this is done, the majority has not been placed in other departments that would benefit more from their skills. Only 7.6 per cent reported that this was ever done. Employees’ emotional wellbeing is also important. Although majority of the employees (44.7 per cent) are happy about their work, they indicated that they could be motivated by coaching, mentorship and empowerment initiatives. Overall, the employees’ sense of belonging through their engagement and development, and self-esteem through their morale and competence are important to their motivation levels. They are also motivated when support is provided for training and skill development as explained by the motivation theory. Expected learning outcomes The learning outcomes are intended to guide the teaching-learning process and stimulate students’ understanding of the concepts of talent management specific to fast food service employees’ motivation. The case study is a useful resource for graduate students to enable and develop their critical thinking and solution-oriented skills. Students should be able to critically analyze the case and respond to the questions to garner and improve their understanding of talent management and its applicability in the fast food service sector. Further understanding of the concept can be derived from developing dimensions and measures of talent management that can be generalized to the food service sector. Injunctions and injunctive messages are both considered, and permissions are described in terms of love, hope and trust. A significant link is also made with Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs and this in turn prompts some initial considerations about the nature of spiritual growth. The Marriage Law in Indonesia (UUP) is a positive legal rule in building a family. The UUP for example states that the purpose of marriage is to form a happy family, while the obligations of a husband and wife are to love, respect, respect and be loyal. Happiness, love, respect and loyalty are part of the psychological domain that cannot be achieved by merely reading normative juridical rules. Therefore a psychology study is needed to study the UUP. In addition to the psychological aspects, it is also important to study the UUP with a normative approach to see whether the UUP elaborates the normative values of the Qur'an as a source of Islamic teachings. The background of this paper is compiled with the aim of explaining the manifestations of psychological aspects formulated in the UUP so that it can be a reference for implementation in building families and analyzing the normative values of the Qur'an absorbed by the UUP. Therefore this UUP study was conducted with an integrated approach to normative and psychological juridical. This study also aims to develop family law with an integrative juridical psychological approach. The primary data sources used are the book of the Qur'aan by Quraysh Shihab, UUP and the book Motivation and Personality which examines happy psychology by Abraham H. Maslow and Triagular Theori of Love which discusses the theory of love in psychological perspective by Robert. J Steinberg as well as secondary sources related to research. The results of this study indicate that forming a happy family as a marriage goal is in harmony with Q.S. ar-Rum (30): 21. The first part of the manuscript briefly reviews Abraham Maslow’s pioneering work on human needs, and the underlying propositions, main contributions and limitations of his motivational theory. The review results in a set of requirements for a design-focused typology of psychological needs. The second part reports on the development of the new typology. The thirteen needs were selected from six existing typologies with the use of five criteria that distinguish fundamental from non-fundamental needs. The resulting typology builds on the strengths of Maslow’s need hierarchy but rejects the hierarchical structure and adds granularity to the need categories. The third part of the paper describes three examples of how the need typology can inform design practice, illustrated with student design cases. It also presents three means for communicating the need typology. The general discussion section reflects on implications and limitations and proposes ideas for future research.

Abstract:
This research was conducted in an attempt to identify and analyze the role and influence of two universally applicable theories in the life of an employee when working in a company. The research subjects are employees who work at the bank. The data collection model is carried out primarily using a questionnaire to explore their perceptions in creating and or maintaining a sense of loyalty in their workplace. To prove this, the researchers chose a bank that has been around for a long time, where there are 25 employees. We want to know whether Maslow and Herzberg's theory of motivation remains universally applicable in their work environment. This research is an associative study using the primary data base, this data from interviews and filling out questionnaires from the bank employees. Measurement of data using ordinal data with a Likert scale approach. From the results of filling out the questionnaire, the percentage results obtained that 71.4% of them tend to agree on the existence of their existence and fulfill their needs hierarchically. Through associative analysis, it can be obtained that the physiological results are 49.1% well fulfilled, sense of security is 47.4% fulfilled, social 43.8% is fulfilled, self-esteem 72.5% is fulfilled, and self actualization is 49.1% also fulfilled in the bank, this condition is enough to make their employees loyal in contributing energy, time and thoughts. Overall 93.7% of Maslow's hierarchical needs and Herzberg's maintenance are able to create a sense of employee loyalty to the workplace. The fulfillment of 72.5% hierarchical needs is dominated by the fulfillment of self-esteem, then in terms of maintenance theory, Herzberg is dominated by self-esteem and self-actualization

Abstract:
The aim of this study is to provide theoretical rationale for integrative model of motivation as a unified structure that ensures achieving different types of results of human activity. The methodology of this study includes induction and deduction methods, scientific literature analysis, as well as comparative analysis. There have been defined the notions of «motive», «need» and «motivation», in particular, we have identified major differences and similarities between these concepts as well as their points of contact. The motives have been classified into conscious and unconscious with subsequent justification of such division. The article discusses the difference between external and internal motivation and proves the particular effectiveness of the latter. There has been analyzed the structure of the human motivational system encompassing all its components such as interests, needs, values, attitudes, beliefs, stereotypes, etc. We have identified the basis of motivational system, which determines personality's orientation and its peripheral parts. There has been conducted a comparative analysis of major motivation theories, which explain the structure and significance of human needs, their relationship with motivation to act. For example, we found out that K. Alderfer's ERG paradigm corresponds to A. Maslow's hierarchy of needs paradigm in regards to the main groups of needs. However, most theories of motivation use different criteria for distinguishing needs which makes it more difficult to compare them. For instance, D. McClelland's acquired needs paradigm is based on identifying the needs for power and complicity, while Porter-Lauler model is based on analysing concepts of expectations and justice within the motivational system of an individual. However, all authors seem to agree on one thing: motivation is a complex system-based integrative psychostructure that encourages a person to perform various types of activities. Thus, we can conclude that despite various explanations of the concepts of «motive» and «motivation», different criteria for distinguishing needs and interpreting their impact on motivation, human motivational system is a holistic unified structure that affects human behaviour in a specific way.
