The paper provides a professional overview of the development of media technology, as well as the influence of technology on media content and its interpretation. The aim of communication is definitively to connect the source with the receiver. It means to solve the main problem – to overwhelm the obstacle of space and time. Technological goals since the dark ages were aimed at increasing the physical features of man as direct carrier or to replace him by a more efficient one.

In this article, for research purposes, we talk about the functions of information media, and as a recommendation, the ways and methods of manipulating people through information communications are discussed. Peer technologies are also considered significantly for research. As we know, the media is mostly engaged in covering such issues as: education, health care, poverty, current events in the world. However, we should also not forget that the media plays a major role in fostering national self-awareness. The media is the main informant, a kind of transfer for the society on social, economic, political and cultural issues both inside and outside the country. "Communication affects culture, although it contributes to social and economic development. It mobilizes society and demands the appropriate attention from them." (Wilmer Shrem) The main function of information media management is the development of an organizational structure that facilitates the provision of correct information to the public. Media has a great influence on society, especially this influence is observed on human psychology. If for a long time the society thought it unbelievable to achieve various goals through the media, today it can be considered a normal occurrence. This was caused by the development of technology and the entry into the field of mass communication of the economy. The media can both lower people's worldview and its decline, informational regression. Thus, information management is the process of functional management of information. Its essence lies in the fact that a clear result is obtained by coordinating information, which is possible through top managers. Abstract:
The development of information technology (IT) with the ease of internet services has made the competition in the mass media industry even tougher. The internet has facilitated the growth of online mass media. This study wants to reveal how newspapers respond to the growth of online mass media adding pressure to the existence of conventional mass media, especially newspapers. This research specifically reveals how the editorial policy of the Bhirawa newspaper in managing the media in order to survive in the midst of pressure from online media. The choice of Bhirawa newspaper as the object of research is because Bhirawa newspaper is one of the local newspapers in East Java that still exists today with dynamic market segmentation because it follows the times. From the results of this study, it was revealed that in responding to the presence of online media, Bhirawa newspaper applied the concept of content sharing. Content sharing allows two different media types to share content in the form of repackaging or including budget sharing. Because the production of print media with Bhirawa is online in the same space. This single newsroom is very efficient for small media that has multiple platforms. Because what is being sold is one brand, namely Bhirawa, both printed and online. In maintaining the market segment among the state civil apparatus (ASN), the Bhirawa newspaper strengthens information related to the bureaucracy and government by placing its journalists to focus on reporting posts in the government.

Abstract:
The role played by the media in the resolution of conflicts and crises cannot be overemphasized. The media has been a vital channel for resolving crises in society. The media has been construed as a two-edged sword that can either instigate a crisis or provide an avenue for resolving it. In other words, the influence of the mass media can be both positive and/or negative, depending on the mode and direction of use. Apparently, media influence has increased tremendously in the last decades, but there is no agreement among scholars and researchers on the degree and tenacity of its influence in managing and resolving conflicts and crises in society. The media, by right and duty, must provide citizens with accurate, comprehensive, unbiased, and high-quality information on the causes, effects, and possible resolutions to avert a further deepening of the crisis, which could lead to the destruction of lives, properties, and the economy. Put differently, the media are always known to set agendas for the public to follow; they do this by raising salient and critical issues as they unfold in society and bringing them to the public. The media set an agenda of peace, love, unity, etc. In recent times, Plateau State, especially Jos, has been characterized by one form of crisis or another, which in turn leads to the loss of lives and properties. This research work therefore attempts to examine the relevant role played by the media in resolving the lingering crises in Northern states, particularly Plateau State. In addition, the research examines the way and manner in which the media have been used to manage the crises in Nigeria. The aim of this study is to analyse the role of the media in crisis management in Nigeria. The specific objectives were to establish the media accessibility level and the various types of media coverage; to establish the extent to which media escalated and/or de-escalated violence; and to determine how media could influence selected human factors towards crises. The research utilized both primary and secondary source materials. Other reference materials, such as newspapers, the internet, and journals, were used to gather information about the activities carried out by the media in times of crisis. The research concludes that the media have a crucial role to play in de-escalating crises.

Abstract:
There is a wind of transformation blowing across the world today. It is changing the face of emergency management and every field of human endeavor. It is called “social media”. These days, social media is redefining crisis preparedness through the increasing participation of the masses in the creation and distribution of content in ways that surpass the capacity of the mass media and public authorities. Public-generated content has been found to be useful in all phases of preparedness. Unfortunately, most public safety authorities are still suspicious of using social media in engaging and disseminating information. This article examines this new area of transformation that is having significant consequences on public safety and public life. As the scenario unfolds, emergency managers have a tough time choosing between the mass media and social media. Metaphorically, it is a race between a ‘hippo’ (mass media) and cheetah (social media).

Abstract:
Relevance. The relevance of the issue of the role of mass media in social orientation and social management remains acute in view of the rapid development of information technologies and the rapid spread of social media.Purpose. The purpose of this study was to outline the modern place and role of mass media in the changing media environment, to show new phenomena and trends in the development of social media in order to identify niches in the information space where social media coexist with mass media.Methodology. The following methods were used for research hypothetical-deductive, analysis, synthesis, etc.Results. The study showed that mass media, using modern information technology, continue to be an important source of current information, sharing this niche with social media. With the quantitative growth of social media in the news stream, their secondary function is observed in relation to socially significant issues that are asked in the mass media. The spread of social media contributes to the establishment of equality of information providers and consumers as subjects of the media process, as feedback and influence of information consumers through providers (mass media and social media) on the formation of the agenda develops. The use of dialogic communications in organizations contributed to the improvement of the effectiveness of the organizations themselves, as well as increased the responsibility of organizations for their position on current social issues, which is demanded by real and potential consumers of their goods and services through social media.Conclusions. The practical significance of this research lies in identifying the priority characteristics of mass media (reliability of information, coverage of topics relevant to society, competence in presenting information, orientation of information to the development of society) in the formation of social orientations of the population in comparison with social media.

Abstract:
The application of management has an essential role in increasing the existence of mass media. This study aims to determine the strategic management of online media as a digital communication channel through women's media based on Islamic principles. Along with the development of technology in Indonesia, online media is increasingly being used, leading to competition with one another, including in the women's segment. However, online media in the women and Islam segment still receives less attention, even though it has the same potential as other segments. For this reason, the study of strategic management in women's and Islamic online media has a role in creating an effective and efficient management system structure to achieve mass media goals. Theoretically, this study analyzes the pattern of implementing the Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling (POAC) management functions in online media. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to women's and Islamic online media to determine the management strategy used. Furthermore, this study identifies the factors that influence managing online media through POAC and provides an overview of the management strategies implemented to increase public existence. The results of this study contribute to the development of mass media for online media management, readers, and regulators.

Abstract:
Choosing a quality leader, especially a political leader, depends on the information that voters receive in the election process. Two important components that play a role in providing information are political parties and the mass media. Between these two components, the mass media holds an important key. Therefore this study aims to determine the management of news coverage in the mass media; how about the news, especially published political news, is processed ethically within the framework of management functions in general. This research was conducted at AJI Kupang City using a qualitative approach. Observations and interviews, supported by scientific references, are techniques for obtaining and analyzing data. The results of the study show that news management in the mass media is generally in line with management functions. The problem is in the online media. In online media, news management does not function properly due to limited human resources. Field studies show that the media and journalists are caught up in ethical issues when reporting on political events; especially news about prospective political leaders. The mass media and journalists are trapped in a decision that violates the journalistic code of ethics by siding with a particular candidate. This partiality can be seen in every report regarding a candidate who is supported by other candidates. Self-integrity is the reason journalists are trapped in this problem. As a solution, researchers offer a management model that is expected to minimize violations of journalistic ethics. The news management model in applying management functions, pays attention to the following elements: 1) Issue exploration team, 2) Supervisory Board, 3) Complaint Center, 4) Education and Training implementing agency, 5) Technical Rules

Abstract This study aims to research mass media communication and multipolar relationships in public diplomacy by using announcement of China Air Defense Identification Zone (CADIZ) in November 2013 as a case. Based on importance of mass mediated public diplomacy, to examine wording and message structure, language analysis program of semantic and ego network is applied. In addition, considering the environment of Korean media, newspapers from democratic and conservative are selected. The CADIZ issue takes place in Northeast Asian region but reactions and the relations of the USA are mainly dealt with. The USA is closely connected to China and Korea and has an important influence as a consultant in the given situation. Moreover, Korean media keep monitoring Japan’s response to refer Korea’s response strategy. Semantic and ego network seem to be powerful when analyzing international conflicts. This research shows that international relationship can be a significant asset to public diplomacy. In short, analyzing multipolar relations seems essential to understand construction of related countries and seek to solve diplomatic conflicts.

The arrival on the scene of the study of mass emergencies and risk analysis has represented an important step forward in the world of communication, not only because of its theoretical aspects, but also because of its ability to influence policy formulation. Many researchers and scholars of mass emergencies and risk analysis today agree on focusing their research activities on communication. Communication is seen as a social process, something which is fundamental to the understanding of both crisis management and of the various activities which precede and follow crises themselves. On the other hand, information, as a product of communication, is merchandise which has great importance in many of our relationships, both on a micro and macro level. This brief account aims to stimulate the debate that is already active in the scientific community and also to provide food for thought as to the working tools used in research that is constantly face-to-face with empirical reality.

Abstract:
The crucial role of maintaining business accounts on social media for the rational organization of goods promotion in the COVID-19 pandemic context and increasing online business awareness is reasonably justified. Based on empirical research and analysis of Ukrainian retailers’ online stores, business account metrics are diagnostics in social media. The interpretation of the viral loop in social media is proposed, and the meaning of the definitions “subcritical mass” and “critical mass” of a Facebook / Instagram business account are clarified. The dynamic model of a critical mass of Facebook / Instagram business accounts is developed. The model allows monitoring the nature and influence of active followers on users to adjust the current vector of activity, minimize marketing costs, and increase the target audience involvement. The model also facilitates accurate targeting and error-free ad placement for online businesses.

Abstract:
Da'wah of Islam using the media is a form of strategic application for Muslims regarding the need to spread Islamic teachings with a wider reach, so that it is hoped that it will be able to attract the interest of the general public to listen to the calls of Islamic teachings. Using media in da’wah is an innovative process in carrying out da'wah so that the "message of wisdom" conveyed can be conveyed well and optimally. Along with the development of information technology and globalization, the mass media industry is also experiencing significant changes. These changes are clearly visible in aspects of structure, work and operational mechanisms, and mass media content. This ultimately urges various media institutions to follow the business competition patterns of the media industry in order to survive. The tight competitive climate in the mass media industry ultimately has an effect on the increasingly strong values ??of economic interests (profit) over the idealistic values ??of the media. This research method is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The media management applied to TV9 is the same as other media companies, what makes TV9 different is that there is still an inherent Islamic boarding school culture, because it is a religious TV whose spirit was born from the Islamic boarding school students. Regarding media management activities related to market push issues and issues of public interest, among business interests and da'wah, it tends to be more towards a da'wah orientation because da'wah is the vision and mission of TV9 and most of its programs are da'wah programs

Abstract:
The article implements the idea of mediatization as a process of transformation of mass communication industry. Nowadays, the current system of mass communication is under the pressure of digital transit, which is transgressive in nature. It breaks traditional business patterns; requires business administration to make mental changes in thinking and management practices; creates the highest level of tension among media managers. The article attempts to conceptualize (through the analysis of industrial ‘points of tension’: between television and online video – players of the cross-media measurement) some aspects of the digital transformation of the media industry and industrial management practices. The conflict between the digital environment generated by the relatively free development of the Internet and the purposefully organized and institutionalized state-controlled media lies at the core of this transformation.

AbstractThe objective of this paper is to reconstruct both the Kursk incident and especially the reaction to it by Russian military and political authorities with the aim of gauging the extent of continuity and change of Soviet-era practices in three key areas of contemporary Russia's public institutional life: (1) the organizational behaviour and institutional culture of the Russian military; (2) the behaviour of Russia's executive political leadership, i.e. President Vladimir Putin; and (3) the media of mass communication. Reaction to such crises, the author argues, can shed much light on the actual behavioural patterns and operating assumptions of relevant institutions and leaders. The method employed is essentially a detailed forensic reconstruction of the incident and its aftermath from three angles: the reactions of the military authorities; the reactions of Putin; and the reactions of the mass media (and of the authorities to the mass media). The individual is nonsense, the individual is zero.Vladimir Mayakovsky, 1921Human life still costs nothing here.Leonid Radzikhovskii, 2000

Abstract:
Media-aware stock performance has been well recognized in recent studies. Previous research, however, focused on the content influence of the media, ignoring the manner in which the media is delivered. Based on the trust theory, this study argues that the media platforms, as media distribution vehicles and trust endorsement for news, are themselves influential on the stock market. This paper collected news data from seven Chinese mainstream media platforms and classified them into official, professional, and mass media platforms to investigate the impact of different platforms. The authors find that high official and professional media coverage predict increased abnormal returns, while high mass media coverage predicts the opposite. In addition, this paper systematically explores the mechanism of media platforms on stock performance from the perspectives of platform content, audience, and publication timeliness. The findings include that investors' attention to media platforms has a moderating effect on the stock performance, and such an effect is more salient in bear markets.
