Abstract:
People need to update their capabilities to compete against (or collaborate with) robots and artificial intelligence (AI) in the twenty-first century. It is hard to know where to start when making a comprehensive list of so-called necessary twenty-first-century skills. To keep things simple, it is better to start by setting a clear goal rather than focusing on skill acquisition. Therefore, this article intends to be a guide for creating value schools that focus on creating value. We will focus on the following three main points. First, the perspective of service-dominant (S-D) logic leads to focusing on creating value goal, which demands active involvement from all of us (including creating value school students) to create value for our communities in our own ways. Second, we stress that the skills that create value are useless if the students cannot discriminate targeted value from pointless value. Therefore, a mental map of targeted value must be drawn up before creating value skills, as theorized by Learning Sciences. Third, collaborative problem-solving is the best way to create value. Visual diagramming is a particularly powerful tool for collaborative learning. However, it is useless for students to acquire visual diagramming skills—even if the target issues of the diagramming are real problems—unless they have a mental model of targeted value on an individual level. The appendix of this article provides a design for the ‘Creating Value Challenge’ that connects creating value school students to deepen collaborative learning to further create value on a worldwide scale.

This article draws attention to the how of logistics management or logistics as part of the learning organization. The logistics discipline has advanced over the years, but these advances have been mainly on the what side, what could be done rather than how it is done. In a world of increasing opportunities, the restraining factor is increasingly how. New product and market strategies depend upon supply chain redesign to be effective. Components and production skills can be purchased, as can transportation. But implementing new systems designs in an increasingly turbulent and complex world requires unprecedented skills of change management.

In Morocco, a regulatory framework governs the design of vocational bachelor’s degree training program which the Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research must validate for professional licenses. This ensures that the programs meet the quality criteria and educational standards set by the government. This research focuses on the design of a skills framework of bachelor’s degree in food industry that meets the needs of the job market and aligns with the Ministry's directives, by examining the generic and specific skills of academic programs in the food industry offered by Moroccan universities and vocational training institutions. We identified a catalog of generic and specific skills following an examination of the vocational education programs offered by various universities both domestically and abroad. Then, we subjected this list to evaluation and verification through a survey. The questionnaire asked the evaluators, which included teachers, lecturers, students, graduates, and employers, to rate the importance of each generic and specific skill. The results found through the survey validated the initial list of the generic skills inventory. According to our findings mastering the technologies of food processing, mastering food chemistry and food microbiology, mastering unit operations of food engineering, mastering quality control and management, knowing food legislation and regulations, and mastering production management basics are all specific skills essential for achieving mastery in the field of food production.

Abstract:
This study aims to find out gender-based differences in mastering English language skills between male and female students in single-sex schooling. There were 330 participants from first and second-year students of Darul Ihsan Islamic Senior High School involved. Direct learning strategies (memory, cognitive, and compensation strategy) along with attitude, motivation, and anxiety are variables analyzed in this study. A questionnaire from the Strategy Inventory for Language Learning (SILL) and Attitude Motivation Test Battery (AMTB) were adapted to collect the data. The data were analyzed by using Mann Whitney-U Test. The findings from the partial test show there was a significant difference between male and female students in attitude, motivation, anxiety, memory strategy, and cognitive strategy. Only compensation strategy and the simultaneous test of the variables were found to have no statistically significant difference between male and female students. The finding of the English subject score showed that female students outperform male students. It also found that male students have a higher level of anxiety than female students. Therefore, it is suggested that teachers should try to adjust the teaching and learning in male classes so that hopefully the learning circumstance will reduce the anxiety of male students.

Motivating the working population to master digital skills is an important condition for the digital transformation of the Russian economy and companies. The article examines the relationship between the general level of motivation for learning digital skills and a number of factors, assesses the average level of motivation for four groups of skills, and compares the level of motivation between groups of workers and their motives. Empirical data were obtained by conducting an online survey of the working population in March 2020, the target sample was 116 respondents. It was revealed that the general level of motivation of workers to learn decreases with the increasing complexity of digital skills. The hypotheses about the relationship between the level of motivation and the perceived difficulty of using information and communication technologies and previous learning experience were confirmed. Differences between the groups of workers in the level of motivation and the degree of mastering specialized digital skills, related to the nature of the work were revealed. A higher interest in mastering this group of skills, as well as the degree of mastering them, was demonstrated by the group of managers. The strongest motive for acquiring digital skills is the need to use them at work.

Abstract:
The article deals with the peculiarities of the implementation of the technology of formation of the general-educational skills of elementary school’s pupils in the Mathematics lessons at the Elementary school. Besides it is revealed the content of each component of the educational activity: motivational, substantive and procedural. It provides the opportunity to form and consolidate the positive attitude to the educational activity, curiosity, cognitive interest, personal importance of learning. But the motivational component of the cognitive activity doesn’t provide and doesn’t form technological and procedural cognitive activity. This means that it doesn’t provide the mastering practical and intellectual abilities and opportunities of the personality. Key words: technology of formation of general-educational skills, skills of independence studying, components of the educational activity, control-self-control.
