In his study Reading for the Plot, Peter Brooks defines plot as that which “makes us read forward, seeking in the unfolding of narrative a line of intention and a portent of design that hold the promise of progress toward meaning.” Plot proves to be a rich and multifaceted concept to explore in reading Philip Roth’s novel The Plot against America (2004), in which counterfactual histories, personal plotlines, a cluster of subplots, and the reader’s awareness of metanarrative (“masterplot”) all contribute to the complex shaping of the text.

In a sequel to his essay ‘Sexuality and Structure in Expressionist Theatre’ in NTQ26, Peter Nicholls here explores a very different set of developments in the French avant-garde drama of the period. Arguing that Dada and Surrealist theatre have a strongly marked ‘anti-oedipal’ tendency, he suggests that their polemics against the family and paternal law contrast with the increasing prominence given to Freud's masterplot in Expressionism. Peter Nicholls teaches English and American Literature at the University of Sussex: his publications include Ezra Pound: Politics, Economics, and Writing, and articles on postmodernism, contemporary poetry, and French cubism. His Modernisms: a Literary Guide will be published by Macmillan in 1992.

It is an alphabetical listing of prominent terms, concepts, and techniques of narrative criticism with illustrations and cross-references. Commonly used terms are defined and illustrated, these include character, characterization, double entendre, misunderstanding, implied author, implied reader, irony, narrator, point of view, plot, rhetoric, and other constitutive elements of a narrative. Lesser-known terms and concepts are also defined, such as carnivalesque, composite character, defamiliarization, fabula, syuzhet, hybrid character, MacGuffin, masterplot, primacy/recency effect, and type-scene. Major disciplines—for example, narratology, New Criticism, and reader-response criticism—are explained with glances at prominent literary critics/theorists, such as Aristotle, Mikhail Bakhtin, Wayne Booth, Seymour Chatman, Stanley Fish, E. Abstract:
Whereas scholars’ methodological assumptions about NT texts’ evocation of Israel’s scripture vary, the plausibility and significance of multivalent allusions need to be examined. The ecce homo statement in the Pilate trial (Jn 19.5) is an apt case for this examination. This study exercises a literary analysis of both proposed allusions – to Zech. 6.12 and 1 Sam. 9.17 – and shows that they are based on a common deeper structure despite the difference in phraseological conformity and historical and literary settings. This deeper structure, functioning like a masterplot, has a simple story form of God’s kingship that consists of his contention with dishonoring hostility and the subsequent building of his temple/dwelling place. This story form, captured in the Song of Moses (Exod. 15) and undergirding the Zechariah sign-act (6.9-15) and Saul’s kingship establishment story (1 Sam. 9), reveals that even in the trial scene Jesus is paradoxically enthroned and building the eschatological temple.

Institut Teknologi Telkom Purwokerto (ITTP) merupakan institusi pendidikan tinggi yang memiliki fokus pada pengembangan teknologi ICT. Dalam perananannya Institusi dituntut untuk menjawab segala tantangan serta kebutuhan pasar dengan kemajuan teknologi. Salah satu upaya dalam pengembangan teknologi ICT yaitu dengan membuat IT masterplan yang berfungsi untuk mengelola institusi sesuai dengan rencana strategis. Dalam penyunan IT masterplan tersebut, tahapan awal yang harus dilakukan yaitu mengidentifikasi kondisi terkini dari proses bisnis yang ada di masing-masing unit untuk kemudian dianalisis kekuatan serta kelemahannya. Analisis kekuatan-kelemahan tersebut dapat dijadikan dasar dalam merancang kebutuhan terkait sistem informasi maupun teknologi informasi yang akan diimplementasikan. Penelitian ini berperan dalam langkah awal pengembangan IT masterplan tersebut dengan menganalisis kekuatan dan kelemahan setiap proses bisnis yang ada menggunakan metode value chain. Metode ini dipilih karena analisis value chain menjadi dasar dalam investasi dan implementasi TI, serta mampu melihat kelemahan maupun kekuatan dari bisnis proses sebelum melakukan perancangan IT Masterplan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa kelemahan dan kekuatan yang harus menjadi perhatian bagi unit-unit terkait yang ada di IT Telkom Purwokerto sehingga dalam menentukan kebutuhan SI/TI pada tahap selanjutnya masing-masing unit tersebut memiliki dasar yang jelas. Abstract:
This paper is the result of research conducted by the author and set forth in the Final Project, where the title of this research is “the Panyaweuyan Hill Tourism Area Structuring with the Concept of Agrotourism”. The location of this research is in the village of Tejamulya, Argapura District, Majalengka Regency, West Java Province. The purpose of this research is to make the Bukit Panyaweuyan tourist area masterplan as seen from the policies related to the object of study, the existing condition of the site and site, the agro tourism component, existing tourism activities, visitor perceptions and preferences and best practices of other similar objects. To achieve these objectives, several analyzes are carried out using analytical tools such as descriptive, and cartesian diagrams. So the results of the analysis can be used to make the Panyaweuyan Bukit tourism area masterplan. Keywords: Agro Tourism, Masterplan, Panyaweuyan Hill, Regional Arrangement AbstrakTulisan ini merupakan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh penulis dan dituangkan dalam Tugas Akhir, dimana judul penelitian ini yaitu Penataan Kawasan Wisata Bukit Panyaweuyan dengan Konsep Agrowisata. Lokasi penelitian ini yaitu di Desa Tejamulya, Kecamatan Argapura, Kabupaten Majalengka, Provinsi Jawa Barat. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu membuat masterplan kawasan wisata Bukit Panyaweuyan yang dilihat dari kebijakan terkait objek studi, kondisi eksisting lokasi dan tapak, komponen agrowisata, kegiatan wisata yang ada, persepsi dan preferensi pengunjung dan best practice dari objek lain yang serupa . Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut maka dilakukan beberapa analisis dengan menggunakan alat analisis seperti deskriptif, dan diagram kartesisus. Sehingga hasil dari analisis tersebut dapat digunakan untuk membuat masterplan kawasan wisata Bukit Panyaweuyan.

Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif eksplanatif dengan melihat terlebih dahulu kendala-kendala dalam pengembangan wisata di Sumenep yang kemudian disusul dengan tindakan pengambilan keputusan yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah daerah, sehingga kemudian lahirlah masterplan smart city sebagai program pemerintah. Gandeng Gendong sendiri merupakan program milik pemerintah kota Yogyakarta yang sudah dicetuskan sejak 2018, dalam rangka pemberdayaan dan peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat khususnya percepatan penanggulangan kemiskinan, peningkatan kesejahteraan dan kemajuan lingkungan dengan melihat potensi yang ada dengan pengembangan kebersamaan dan kepedulian semua stakeholder sesuai kapasitasnya. Kampus, Kampung, Komunitas, Kooperasi, Pemerintah Daerah (Kota) atau disebut 5K merupakan stakeholder dalam kegiatan Gandeng Gendong. Pengabdi sebagai bagian dari komunitas IAI (Ikatan Arsitek Indonesia) DIY ikut mengawal dan memandu proses pembuatan masterplan. Sebagai langkah awal menjaring aspirasi warga dilakukan FGD, FGD sebagai metode yang lebih efisien untuk menjaring informasi dari warga kampung sehingga masterplan nantinya benar benar dari aspirasi warga. FGD dilakukan dua tahap, FGD yang pertama untuk menjaring potensi, masalah dan mimpi warga sedangkan FGD kedua merupakan diskusi untuk memantabkan branding kampung. Branding kampung inilah yang menjadi identitas kampung Gedongkiwo dan diterjemahkan dalam masterplan yang programnya diprogram secara bertahap selama 5 tahun.

Bundesbauten sollten in jeder Hinsicht vorbildhaft sein. Auch mit Blick darauf hat das für Bundesbau und Bundesbauverwaltung verantwortliche Bundesministerium des Innern, für Bau und Heimat (BMI) die Digitalisierung des Bauens für den Bund als größter Einzelbauherr im Bereich des Hochbaus im Fokus. Deshalb hat es in Zusammenarbeit mit dem für die Bereitstellung und den Betrieb der militärischen Bundesbauten verantwortlichen Bundesministerium der Verteidigung (BMVg) unter Beteiligung der Bundesanstalt für Immobilienaufgaben (BImA) einen Masterplan „BIM für Bundesbauten“ erarbeitet, um zukünftig auch mit digitalem Planen, Bauen und Betreiben die Effizienz und Geschwindigkeit des Bundesbaus zu verbessern und vor allem auch für die Betrachtung des Gesamtlebenszyklus der Gebäude eine Treiberrolle einzunehmen. Der Masterplan beschreibt die Einführung der Methode BIM für alle künftigen Projekte des Bundesbaus. Im Mittelpunkt der Strategie steht ein Zielbild, das einen verbindlichen Zeithorizont für die Einführung von BIM bei Bundesbauten vorgibt.   Der Masterplan wurde im Auftrag des BMI in Zusammenarbeit mit dem BMVg und der BImA federführend durch das Institut für Baumanagement und Digitales Bauen der Universität Hannover unter Anwendung eines partizipativen Forschungsstils erarbeitet.
