Abstract:
Cet article présente l’élaboration d’une échelle portant sur le sentiment d’efficacité personnelle des enseignants en gestion de la classe. Développée selon les recommandations de Bandura (2006) et la procédure proposée par Dussault, Valois et Frenette (2007), cette échelle porte sur les cinq dimensions de la gestion de classe suggérées par O’Neill et Stephenson (2011). Lors du prétest, des analyses réalisées à partir du modèle de Rasch (Wright & Masters, 1982) ont permis d’élaborer une version constituée de 28 énoncés. De plus, des analyses factorielles confirmatoires soutiennent le modèle théorique à cinq dimensions. Des résultats similaires sont obtenus auprès d’un échantillon tiré de la population. Les forces et les limites de cette recherche sont discutées eu égard à la littérature.

Cada vez más gobiernos y organizaciones toman conciencia acerca de la importancia que reviste el desarrollo de un modelo económico-productivo y sostenible, por lo que la formación de profesionales en gestión ambiental dirigida a la resolución de problemas adquiere un carácter estratégico. El objetivo de esta investigación es analizar las características del Trabajo Final de Magíster (TFM) del programa académico Magíster en Gestión y Administración Ambiental (MGA) en modalidad virtual de aprendizaje de la Universidad Arturo Prat de Chile (UNAP) con énfasis en las herramientas de gestión ambiental aplicadas para la solución de problemas concretos. La metodología tiene un enfoque cuantitativo, no experimental, descriptivo de corte transeccional. Se analizaron treinta TFM que provienen del programa MGA en modalidad virtual de aprendizaje de la UNAP desde el inicio del programa en el año 2016 hasta el año 2020. Los principales resultados revelan que las herramientas más comúnmente utilizadas para elaboración de los TFM en la MGA son cinco: cumplimiento de normativas de parte de las organizaciones (43,3%), análisis de ciclo de vida (23,3%) y la cuantificación de la huella de carbono (20%) con lo cual se cubre cerca del 90% de preferencia en estas herramientas de gestión. Se concluye que los TFM en gestión y administración ambiental de la UNAP bajo la modalidad virtual de aprendizaje ofrecen propuestas de solución a problemas reales identificados en organizaciones reales, lo cual demuestra que bajo este ambiente de aprendizaje es posible cumplir con una educación de calidad, y la formación de un profesional no solo concientizado con la problemática social, sino que además cuenta con las herramientas necesarias para actuar de manera eficaz para impactar en la mejora de la calidad de vida.

Currently universities need to be competitive. The current environment forces universities to design strategies where the student becomes the center of their activity. Elements such as student satisfaction become key performance indicators of the strategy, so that universities are required to establish metrics that make it possible to measure the level of performance achieved based on the objectives they had previously set. In order to verify it, through a series of dimensions that measure the satisfaction of the teaching-learning process, a scale has been proposed to measure satisfaction. To confirm the consistency of the proposed scale, the reliability and validity indicators of the same were verified. The selected sample corresponds to university students studying undergraduate and master’s degrees in the online mode. Results obtained show the importance of correctly setting the objectives and contents of the different subjects that make up the curricula of each grade, as well as the outstanding role that the teacher has in said process.

Questo studio č basato su una tecnica psicodinamica, l'asse della matrice mosaica (MMA), che si pone l'obiettivo di promuovere il consolidamento del Sé soggettivo individuale. Questo processo č permesso da una specifica sequenza psicodinamica: lo stabilirsi della repressione primaria individuale, della differenziazione tra sé e non sé e del vincolo dinamico tra Ego e autoidentitŕ. Un caso di intervento su una classe ingestibile di bambini in etŕ di latenza serve per illustrare la tecnica. L'autore ha condotto la supervisione di una consulente al quarto anno di un master di psicologia clinica. Le fasi dinamiche che hanno permesso il superamento della crisi sono state: 1) mostrando la propria "presenza" ai bambini, l'adulto cattura la libido nel corpo-Ego-identitŕ di ciascun bambino; 2) catturando sia la libido sia l'aggressivitŕ del bambino, l'adulto rafforza la funzione dell'Ego del bambino nel dialogo; 3) creando una configurazione edipica intergenerazionale, che viene rappresentata dal gruppo normativo, l'adulto consente la collocazione del bambino nella configurazione. La strategia di base č stata formulata sulla base della Teoria della fluttuazione dell'equilibrio (Kotani) e si propone la gestione della fluttuazione di ogni bambino come una molecola utile a governare la macro-fluttuazione di una scuola, come organizzazione e come gruppo allargato.

La non maîtrise ou l’ignorance des bonnes pratiques de stockage ou de conservation conduit souvent à des pertes des récoltes en Afrique. Ces dernières peuvent entrainer l’insécurité alimentaire qui est toujours une réalité en Afrique. Ceci illustre que les pratiques culturales et surtout la conservation post-récolte des céréales principaux aliments de base des populations, demeurent un problème majeur en Afrique. Une enquête a été réalisée au Sénégal dans les régions de Tambacounda et de Thiès pour étudier les pratiques culturales des producteurs de sorgho et caractériser la gestion post-récolte dans les zones de production. L’étude a été réalisée auprès de 384 producteurs de sorgho issus de 44 villages. Les zones ont été choisies suivant leur niveau de production et de pluviométrie. La taille de l’échantillon a été déterminée en utilisant l’approximation normale de la loi binomiale. Les résultats ont montré que dans chacune des régions, la proportion d’agriculteur masculin est de 97% et les ethnies dominantes sont les sérères (86%) à Thiès, les peuls et les wolofs (47% et 21%) à Tambacounda. Les semences provenaient principalement de la récolte précédente (10 à 76%) des cas et des distributeurs d’intrants agricoles (2 à 65%). Ces taux diffèrent suivant la région. Les variétés certifiées sont cultivées par 70% des producteurs à Thiès. Les variétés traditionnelles sont utilisées par 98% de ceux de Tambacounda. Cette étude a aussi révélé que les paysans utilisent différents types de séchage à la maison ou aux champs. Parmi eux 79% stockent leur récolte dans des cases, 14% dans des magasins communautaires ,7% dans des greniers sous forme de panicules ou de grains représentant respectivement 22 et 75%. Ces méthodes de prise en charge post-récolte du sorgho diffèrent selon la zone et sont dans certains cas inadéquates. Elles peuvent favoriser la déperdition post-récolte du sorgho et sa contamination par les moisissures, d’où l’intérêt de bien former les acteurs de cette filière.Mots clés : Culture, stockage, céréale, enquête, variété. English Title: Cultural practices and post-harvest management of sorghum in Senegal Failure to master or ignore good storage or conservation practices often leads to crop loss or spoilage of food in Africa. These can lead to food insecurity and threaten food safety. As a result, cultivation practices and especially the post-harvest conservation of cereals, the main staple food of the populations, remain a major problem in West Africa. A survey was carried out in Senegal in the regions of Tambacounda and Thies to study the cultural practices of sorghum producers and characterize post-harvest management in the production areas. The study was carried out with 384 sorghum producers from 44 villages. The zones were chosen according to their level of production and rainfall. The sample size was determined using the normal binomial approximation. The results showed that in each of the regions, the proportion of male farmers is 97%, and the dominant ethnic groups are the Serer (86%) in Thies, the Peul and the Wolof (47% and 21%) in Tambacounda. The seeds came mainly from the previous harvest (10 to 76%) of the cases, and from agricultural input distributors (2 to 65%). These rates differ by region. The certified varieties are cultivated by 70% of the producers in Thies. The traditional varieties are used by 98% of those of Tambacounda. This study also revealed that farmers use different types of drying at home or in the fields. Among them, 79% store their harvest in huts, 14% in community stores, 7% in granaries in the form of panicles or grains, representing 22 and 75% respectively. These post-harvest management methods for sorghum differ by area and are in some cases inadequate. They can encourage the post-harvest loss of sorghum and its contamination by molds, hence the importance of properly training the players in this sector.Keywords: Crop, storage, cereal, survey, variety.

ResumenEl aprendizaje a lo largo de la vida requiere la adquisición de unas competencias clave por parte de los ciudadanos. Un ejemplo de competencia clave es la competencia digital. Para su desarrollo se considera relevante contemplar la oferta de nuevas asignaturas que integren aspectos de gestión de la identidad digital y entornos personales de aprendizaje. Este artículo propone una nueva asignatura para la capacitación digital del estudiante universitario, de carácter online y con tutorías virtuales y presenciales. El objetivo de este estudio es presentar los aspectos considerados para el diseño del modelo de asignatura para la competencia digital del estudiante universitario. La asignatura contempla el seguimiento de cursos abiertos masivos en línea con el objeto de trabajar competencias transversales y específicas de la asignatura, a la vez que el alumno se familiariza con su entorno personal de aprendizaje. Para la gestión y evaluación de la asignatura se emplea una plataforma e-learning y un servicio de blogs institucional. Los resultados muestran la experiencia de aplicar el modelo en el marco del Máster Universitario en Eficiencia Energética en la Edificación, la Industria y el Transporte, de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid en el curso 2016/17. Se identifica la necesidad de aplicar esta asignatura en futuras promociones del máster, así como en otros programas de posgrado, con el fin de cuantificar la eficacia del modelo y su adecuación para la consecución de las competencias digitales previstas.AbstractLifelong learning requires the acquisition of key competences by citizens. One of the key competences is digital competence. Therefore, new subjects that integrate digital identity and the aspects of the personal learning environments should be considered. This paper proposes a new online course for developing the digital competence of university students, with virtual and face-to-face tutoring. The objective of this study is to present the aspects considered to design the model of course for the digital competence of university students. The course includes the training through massive online open courses undertaken by students to reach general and specific competencies, being at the same time a tool for the student to gain familiarity with their personal learning environment. The management of the course, as well as the student assessment, are conducted through an institutional e-learning platform and a blogging service. The results show the experience of implementing the model in the framework of the Master’s degree in “Eficiencia Energética en la Edificación, la Industria y el Transporte”, of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, in the academic course 2016/17. The results show a model of course that considers The need of implementing this course in the coming batches of students of the master and other postgraduate programmes is identified, aiming to quantify the effectiveness and appropriateness of the course for the achievement of the foreseen digital competencies.

Purpose – This study aims to investigate a declaration of the principles of the Société de Philosophie des Sciences de Gestion/Society for the Philosophy of Organisation sciences (SPSG). Organisation sciences still need to be questioned and rendered more complex, even mistreated, and the concepts they apply have yet to be clarified, mastered and organised to go beyond management ideologies that obscure the project to develop a genuine science, with pseudo-rationalisation replacing real thought. Design/methodology/approach – This task could be accorded to a philosophy of organisation sciences that should be understood as a “philosophy of science of organisation sciences”. Findings – The aim of such a philosophical programme is twofold: to expose the presuppositions and predispositions of organisation scholars and to analyse and clarify their scientific theories and concepts. Originality/value – The ambition of the SPSG is to contribute to the development of that philosophical programme.

ResumoEste artigo faz uma análise da participação popular no plano diretor do município de Rio Verde - Goiás. Inicialmente, é feito um breve histórico da ideia de como os Estados passam a planejar suas ações para buscar o desenvolvimento. Posteriormente, analisa-se a questão do planejamento urbano, a partir da perspectiva do Estatuto da Cidade, realçando a participação popular na gestão e no planejamento público das cidades. Finalmente, identificam-se os mecanismos de participação previstos no Plano Diretor de Rio Verde, destacando-se o Conselho das Cidades.Palavras-chave: Planejamento; planejamento urbano; participação popular. AbstractThis article is an analysis of citizens’ participation in the master plan of the municipality of Rio Verde – Goiás. Initially, a brief history of the idea of how states start planning their actions to seek development is described. Recent findings suggest a role for estradiol in the regulation of early folliculogenesis. Estradiol production is greatest in the fetal ovary during early gestation in cattle, and both estradiol and progesterone inhibit primordial follicle activation (Yang MY and Fortune JE 2008 Biol. Reprod. 78 (Suppl 6), 1153-1161). Aromatase expression is detected in early stages of bovine pregnancy (Garverick HA et al. 2009 Anim. Reprod. Sci. in press). The mechanisms controlling steroidogenesis in the bovine fetal ovary remain to be fully elucidated. The objective of this study was to assess mRNA expression patterns of enzymes involved in steroid production [steroidogenic acute regulatory protein (STAR), side-chain cleavage P450 (CYP11), cytochrome P450 17 alpha-hydroxylase (CYP17A1), 3 beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase (3fi-HSD), aromatase cytochrome P450 (CYP19), and 17 beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase (17fi-HSD)] in bovine fetal ovaries during gestation. Bovine fetal ovaries were obtained in a local slaughterhouse, fetal age was estimated by the crown-rump length, and samples were grouped according with days of gestation as follows: 60 (n = 5), 75 (n = 8), 90 (n = 6), 120 (n = 7), 150 (n = 7), and 210 (n = 6). Expression of mRNA encoding steroidogenic enzymes was determined by semiquantitative real-time RT-PCR using bovine-specific primers and cyclophilin A as endogenous control. Reverse transcription was performed with SuperScriptIII® (Invitrogen, Carlsbad, CA, USA) and PCR with Power SYBR green master mix (Applied Biosystems, Foster City, CA, USA) in an ABI Prism® 7500 (Applied Biosystems). Gene expression values were determined by the Pfaffl equation and effect of day of gestation on gene expression was analyzed with Fisher’s protected test, except when data were not normally distributed and nonparametric analysis was performed. Expression of mRNA encoding all steroidogenic enzymes was detected throughout gestation. The mRNA abundance of CYP17A1 and CYP19 was highest at 60 days of gestation and decreased thereafter (P < 0.05). Expression of all other genes did not significantly vary with time of gestation. In conclusion, all major enzymes required for steroidogenesis were expressed in the bovine fetal ovary. Expression of CYP17A1 and CYP19 was suppressed after 60 days of gestation, suggesting that these enzymes may be involved in the mechanisms controlling estradiol production and follicle formation in the bovine fetal ovary. Se realizó un análisis comparativo de las herramientas de replicación de datos Slony-I y PgPool-II, para seleccionar la mejor alternativa en la implementación de un sistema integrado de alta disponibilidad para la gestión de tutorías académicas en Instituciones de Educación Superior. Se establecieron como parámetros de estudio el tiempo de respuesta frente a la ejecución de sentencias SQL el uso de CPU, memoria, y disco duro. Se desarrolló una aplicación web N-Capas utilizando PrimeFaces y PostgreSQL, integrada a un Sistema Académico a través de servicios web SOAP. Para la realización de las pruebas se configuraron servidores de base de datos de tipo master y esclavo bajo un entorno Linux. Las pruebas de rendimiento estuvieron basadas en la herramienta Apache JMeter, simulando 282 peticiones por segundo en un instante de tiempo, observándose que PgPool-II consumió menos recursos con un promedio de 2,80%, sin embargo, Slony-I fue más eficaz al realizar las transacciones con apenas un 0,009% de error.

Dado que es una necesidad mejorar constantemente la malla vial en la ciudad de Bogotá D.C., así como aprovechar adecuadamente los recursos dispuestos para las vías de carácter local e intermedia, se hace fundamental priorizar en una parte de la infraestructura urbana: la supervisión y mantenimiento detallado de la semaforización, dispositivo que regula el tráfico de vehículos y peatones en las intersecciones de las calles. En este sentido, se caracterizó, identificó y evaluó el despliegue de los contratos interadministrativos que se ejecutan actualmente, mediante visitas de campo que permitieron valorar el estado actual del sistema semafórico, lo que proporcionó una visión holística de su funcionamiento. Background: The objectives of this study were to identify loci, positional candidate genes, gene-sets, and pathways associated with spontaneous abortion (SA) in cattle and compare these results with previous human SA studies to determine if cattle are a good SA model for humans. Pregnancy was determined at gestation day 35 for Holstein heifers and cows. Genotypes from 43,984 SNPs of 499 pregnant heifers and 498 pregnant cows that calved at full term (FT) were compared to 62 heifers and 28 cows experiencing SA. A genome-wide association analysis, gene-set enrichment analysis–single nucleotide polymorphism, and ingenuity pathway analysis were used to identify regions, pathways, and master regulators associated with SA in heifers, cows, and a combined population. Results: Twenty-three loci and 21 positional candidate genes were associated (p < 1 × 10−5) with SA and one of these (KIR3DS1) has been associated with SA in humans. Eight gene-sets (NES > 3.0) were enriched in SA and one was previously reported as enriched in human SA. Four master regulators (p < 0.01) were associated with SA within two populations. Conclusions: One locus associated with SA was validated and 39 positional candidate and leading-edge genes and 2 gene-sets were enriched in SA in cattle and in humans.

Cette recherche vise à étudier les problèmes des apprenants iraniens du FLE (Français Langue Étrangère) dans la gestion de ce secteur. Basée sur les recherches antérieures menées auprès d’élèves français et québécois, la présente étude cherche précisément à répondre aux questions suivantes : 1- Comment se fait l’évolution de la compétence de gestion des finales verbales en /E/? 2- Parmi les formes en -ER, -É, et -AI laquelle est mieux réussie ? 3- a) Dans les formes en -É, est-ce que les apprenants font l’accord avec le genre et le nombre sujet ? b) Est-ce qu’ils ont des problèmes d’accord en personne dans les formes en -AI ? Afin de répondre à ces questions, nous avons fait passer un test aux 113 apprenants iraniens du français des niveaux A1, A2 et B1 acquis inscrits à quelques instituts de langue de Téhéran. Les résultats de notre étude à l’aide de l’analyse statistique de variance (ANOVA) montrent que : 1- La gestion des finales verbales en /E/ n’est pas maitrisée à travers ces niveaux. Il n’existe pas de différence significative entre les notes globales de ces trois niveaux successifs. 2- La forme en -ER est mieux maitrisée suivie de la forme en -É et celle en -AI ce qui montre la tendance des apprenants pour l’invariabilité. En plus de ces trois formes, nous avons trouvé d’autres types d’erreurs (ex. erreurs phonétiques et erreurs de segmentation) fréquents dans notre corpus qui n’ont pas été rapportés par les recherches antérieures en FLM (Français Langue Maternelle). 3- a) En ce qui concerne les formes en -É, il n’existe pas d’accord avec le sujet et la tendance réside dans l’invariabilité. b) Quant aux formes en -AI, le problème d’accord en personne ne se pose pas. Ces résultats diffèrent de ceux obtenus dans le contexte d’autres recherches en FLM. Comme perspective didactique, nous avons proposé la redéfinition de la place de l’orthographe dans les méthodes actuelles du français tout en soulignant l’efficacité de la démarche réflexive dans l’enseignement-apprentissage de l’orthographe. Based on previous investigations focusing on French and Quebecois students, the present study aims specifically to answer the following questions: 1- How does the ability to deal verbal endings in /E/ evolve? 2- Among the -ER, -É and -AI forms which is the most successful? 3- a) Among the -É forms, do the learners make agreement between the gender and the number of the subject? b) Do they have any problems with agreement in person among the -AI forms? In order to answer these questions, we have distributed a test to 113 Iranian learners of A1, A2 and B1 levels in French registered in some language institutes in Tehran. Our results based on statistical analysis of variance (ANOVA) show that: 1- The management of verbal endings in /E/ is not mastered at these levels. There is not a significant difference between global scores of these three successive levels. 2- The -ER form is the most successful before the -É and -AI forms respectively, which shows the tendency of learners for invariance. In addition to these three forms, other types of errors (e.g. orthographical errors phonetically-based and errors of segmentation) were frequent in our data yet not reported by previous investigations in French as a First Language (FFL). 3- a) Concerning -É forms, the agreement does not exist and the tendency lies in invariance. b) As for -AI forms, the issue with agreement does not arise. These findings differ from those obtained by other studies in FFL. As a didactic solution, it is suggested to redefine the place of orthography in the actual methods of French language teaching and to emphasize the effectiveness of reflexive way in teaching-learning of French orthography.

AbstractCorticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) is distributed throughout the brain and in peripheral sites but primarily is localized in the paraventricular nucleus of the hypothalamus. It is a “master” stress hormone that is responsible for the synthesis of proopiomelanocortin (POMC) in the anterior pituitary gland. Behaviorally active peptide hormones, including adrenocorticotropin hormone (ACTH) and B-endorphin, are liberated from POMC by enzymes to activate critical processes during stress. CRH is not detectable in the circulation even during extreme stress. However, during human pregnancy, the human placenta expresses the gene for CRH (pCRH) resulting in detectable levels in maternal plasma that increases 20- to 40-fold over the course of gestation. Placental CRH is identical to CRH of hypothalamic origin in size, structure, immunoreactivity, and bioactivity. However, unlike the negative feedback between adrenal cortisol and hypothalamic CRH, cortisol stimulates the synthesis and release of pCRH. The bidirectional release of pCRH into maternal and fetal compartments is associated with regulating the timing of delivery, remodeling the fetal nervous system, and influencing developmental trajectories. Fetal exposure to pCRH during early and late gestation is associated with unique patterns of cortical thinning in school-age children. Placental CRH is elevated in response to physical and behavioral stress and may be an integrative marker of early adversity.

A well-functioning placenta is crucial for normal gestation and regulates the nutrient, gas, and waste exchanges between the maternal and fetal circulations and is an important endocrine organ producing hormones that regulate both the maternal and fetal physiologies during pregnancy. Placental insufficiency is implicated in spontaneous preterm birth (SPTB). We proposed that deficits in the capacity of the placenta to maintain bioenergetic and metabolic stability during pregnancy may ultimately result in SPTB. To explore our hypothesis, we performed a RNA-seq study in male and female placentas from women with SPTB (<36 weeks gestation) compared to normal pregnancies (≥38 weeks gestation) to assess the alterations in the gene expression profiles. We focused exclusively on Black women (cases and controls), who are at the highest risk of SPTB. Six hundred and seventy differentially expressed genes were identified in male SPTB placentas. Among them, 313 and 357 transcripts were increased and decreased, respectively. In contrast, only 61 differentially expressed genes were identified in female SPTB placenta. The ingenuity pathway analysis showed alterations in the genes and canonical pathways critical for regulating inflammation, oxidative stress, detoxification, mitochondrial function, energy metabolism, and the extracellular matrix. Many upstream regulators and master regulators important for nutrient-sensing and metabolism were also altered in SPTB placentas, including the PI3K complex, TGFB1/SMADs, SMARCA4, TP63, CDKN2A, BRCA1, and NFAT. The transcriptome was integrated with published human placental metabolome to assess the interactions of altered genes and metabolites. Collectively, significant and biologically relevant alterations in the transcriptome were identified in SPTB placentas with fetal sex disparities. Altered energy metabolism, mitochondrial function, inflammation, and detoxification may underly the mechanisms of placental dysfunction in SPTB.

Human pregnancy is associated with enhanced de novo lipogenesis in the early stages followed by hyperlipidemia during advanced gestation. Liver X receptors (LXRs) are oxysterol-activated nuclear receptors that stimulate de novo lipogenesis and also promote the efflux of cholesterol from extrahepatic tissues followed by its transport back to the liver for biliary excretion. Although LXR is recognized as a master regulator of triglyceride and cholesterol homeostasis, it is unknown whether it facilitates the gestational adaptations in lipid metabolism. To address this question, biochemical profiling, protein quantification, and gene expression studies were used, and gestational metabolic changes in T0901317-treated wild-type mice and Lxrab−/− mutants were investigated. Here, we show that altered LXR signaling contributes to the enhanced lipogenesis in early pregnancy by increasing the expression of hepatic Fas and stearoyl-CoA desaturase 1 ( Scd1). Both the pharmacological activation of LXR with T0901317 and the genetic ablation of its two isoforms disrupted the increase in hepatic fatty acid biosynthesis and the development of hypertriglyceridemia during early gestation. We also demonstrate that absence of LXR enhances maternal white adipose tissue lipolysis, causing abnormal accumulation of triglycerides, cholesterol, and free fatty acids in the fetal liver. Together, these data identify LXR as an important factor in early-pregnancy lipogenesis that is also necessary to protect against abnormalities in fetoplacental lipid homeostasis.

El propósito del artículo es exponer la contribución de la Maestría en Educación, en sus dos modalidades (presencial y semipresencial), al desarrollo profesional docente de los maestrantes matriculados en el programa; concebido este como un proceso que genera aprendizajes, desde la reflexión, la indagación y la trasformación de su propia práctica, incidiendo en la calidad de su desempeño, sobre la base de un clima de diálogo y participación en su contexto de actuación. Se trata de una metodología docente activa que permite desarrollar en los estudiantes bastantes de las competencias generales y transversales que aparecen recogida en los planes de estudios de las titulaciones relacionadas con la administración y dirección de empresas.</p><p>En este trabajo se describe el uso del simulador SIMBRAND como metodología docente en el Master en Marketing e Investigación de Mercados de la Universidad de Extremadura y, posteriormente, se presentan las valoraciones que los estudiantes hacen tanto de la actividad como del aprendizaje obtenido. Los resultados son valorados positivamente por los estudiantes y por el profesorado implicado, pero la experiencia también lleva a concluir la necesidad de tener en cuenta algunos aspectos claves para el correcto uso de esta herramienta, tales como la correcta planificación y definición del sistema de evaluación, el continuo seguimiento y orientación del profesor a los estudiantes y la formación previa que los estudiantes deben recibir sobre el funcionamiento del simulador y sobre la gestión de equipos de trabajo.</p>

O presente artigo tem como tema mobilidade e políticas públicas, especificamente, tendo como objeto o Plano Diretor do Município de São Gonçalo (SG), analisando-o à luz das principais políticas no que se refere à mobilidade urbana no Brasil, notadamente, o Estatuto das Cidades (2001), a Política Nacional de Mobilidade Urbana (2012) e o Estatuto da Metrópole (2015). Aplicamos um estudo descritivo e analítico com o apoio de bibliografia normativa e analítica a partir de autores especialistas. O plano diretor ressalta uma série das prerrogativas de desenvolvimento descritos na Constituição Federal, assim como se pauta em elementos característicos da municipalidade de SG, o que implica, em um primeiro momento, a devida adequação normativa e, não necessariamente, em termos de aplicação prática. O plano diretor é uma ferramenta pouco aproveitada pelos atores políticos onde deve-se utilizar o melhor planejamento, aplicando-o conjuntamente às políticas públicas para sanar problemas no transporte público e mobilidade urbana. O pouco aproveitamento do plano diretor resulta em uma gestão inadequada, sendo demonstrado e identificado principalmente nos cotidianos do povo em transtornos no trânsito e sem expectativa de solução. Urban Mobility, Public Policies and the Master Plan of the Municipality of São Gonçalo This article deals with mobility and public policies, specifically with the São Gonçalo Municipality (SG) Master Plan, analyzing it in light of the main policies regarding urban mobility in Brazil, notably the Statute of the Cities (2001), the Urban Mobility National Policy (2012) and the Metropolis Statute (2015). We applied a descriptive and analytical study with the support of normative and analytical bibliography from expert authors. The master plan outlines a number of the development prerogatives described in the Federal Constitution, as well as being based on elements characteristic of the municipality of SG, which implies, in the first instance, due normative adequacy and not necessarily in terms of practical application. The master plan is a tool little used by political actors where the best planning should be used, applying it jointly to public policies to solve problems in public transport and urban mobility. The poor utilization of the master plan results in an inadequate management, being demonstrated and identified mainly in the daily lives of the people in disorders in the traffic and without expectation of solution. La puesta en marcha del Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior (EEES) ha desencadenado una serie de cambios, entre ellos, las reformas educativas que cada Estado miembro ha llevado a cabo. En España el Real Decreto 1393/2007 de 29 de Octubre por el que se establece la ordenación de las enseñanzas universitarias oficiales regula que los títulos de Grado deben terminar con la elaboración y defensa de un trabajo fin de grado. Este trabajo debe plasmar las competencias adquiridas por los estudiantes a lo largo de sus estudios, pero ¿el alumnado tiene la suficiente formación para poder llevar a cabo este cometido? ¿Cuáles son los problemas a los que se enfrentan? El fin de nuestra investigación es dar respuesta a esta serie de interrogantes a partir de una evaluación de las necesidades formativas de los estudiantes que se encuentran en el periodo de elaboración del TFG o TFM -último curso- en la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad de A Coruña. El Grupo GIACE (Grupo de Investigación e Avaliación Educativa) ha desarrollado una experiencia de innovación formativa bajo la denominación de “píldoras formativas para la elaboración y presentación del TFG y TFM” en la que se han ofertado 9 sesiones en diferentes temáticas utilizando éstas para la identificación de otras necesidades. La muestra está formada por 63 estudiantes de grado y master de los títulos de Grado en Educación Infantil, Educación Social, Educación Primaria, Grado en Logopedia y Máster en Psicopedagogía y Master en Dirección, Gestión e Innovación de Instituciones Escolares y Socioeducativas. Para la recogida de la información se ha aplicado un instrumento compuesto por 15 ítems a valorar en una escala Likert con cinco opciones de respuesta. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que el alumnado de estas titulaciones presenta necesidades formativas relacionadas principalmente con el desarrollo de proceso de investigación y metodologías de cómo afrontarlos, con la preparación de la presentación del trabajo a través de herramientas informáticas y con las competencias relacionas con su exposición pública.

Sleep disorders are highly prevalent during late pregnancy and can impose adverse effects, such as preeclampsia and diabetes. However, the consequences of sleep fragmentation (SF) on offspring metabolism and epigenomic signatures are unclear. We report that physical activity during early life, but not later, reversed the increased body weight, altered glucose and lipid homeostasis, and increased visceral adipose tissue in offspring of mice subjected to gestational SF (SFo). The reversibility of this phenotype may reflect epigenetic mechanisms induced by SF during gestation. Accordingly, we found that the metabolic master switch Foxo1 was epigenetically misregulated in SFo livers in a temporally regulated fashion. Temporal Foxo1 analysis and its gluconeogenetic targets revealed that the epigenetic abnormalities of Foxo1 precede the metabolic syndrome phenotype. Importantly, regular physical activity early, but not later in life, reversed Foxo1 epigenetic misregulation and altered the metabolic phenotype in gestationally SF-exposed offspring. Thus, we have identified a restricted postnatal period during which lifestyle interventions may reverse the Foxo1 epigenetically mediated risk for metabolic dysfunction later in the life, as induced by gestational sleep disorders.

Resumo Este artigo descreve um jogo de negócios aplicado em cursos do tipo Master of Business Administration (MBA) como uma das últimas disciplinas do currículo e analisa os resultados de sua implementação em 47 turmas, envolvendo 1.410 alunos. O jogo de negócios tem por objetivo integrar as habilidades e competências desenvolvidas ao longo do curso e considera um sistema de avaliação com 39 quesitos baseado em um modelo de excelência que abrange todos os aspectos importantes no processo de gestão. Somente 6 quesitos de avaliação são financeiros e os outros 33 são avaliados pelos próprios alunos, em uma avaliação por pares, e dizem respeito à relação cliente-fornecedor e à gestão de cada empresa. Uma redução de dimensionalidade foi obtida por meio de uma análise fatorial, resultando em 14 fatores. Dentre esses fatores, é possível identificar quais são relevantes para o sucesso no jogo? Esta questão é respondida averiguando por meio de 2 métodos estatísticos distintos (significância dos parâmetros de um modelo logito e teste t para diferença de médias) quais são esses fatores. Ajustou-se um modelo linear generalizado com uma função de ligação logito e uma distribuição Bernouilli, confirmando que a maioria dos fatores com diferenças estatisticamente significativas das médias de vencedores e demais participantes também foram estatisticamente significativas no modelo. A avaliação dos alunos participantes confirmou que o jogo de negócios foi bem recebido: levantou o moral dos alunos; despertou o interesse pelo assunto; fomentou o empreendedorismo; diminuiu o absenteísmo; aumentou a participação em sala, a consciência do trabalho em grupo e o planejamento; e criou um ambiente favorável às discussões sobre ética nos negócios.

Through an integrated research-informed teaching (RIT) approach and the use of active methodologies, the course focuses on the topics of Agenda 2030 and sustainability, dealing with educational dimension underlying development’s actions. The importance of student-centred and learning outcomes-oriented pedagogical and didactic approaches are highlighted. These are functional to the development of competences linked to the theme of sustainable development, but also oriented towards the training of education professionals who are considered central figures in the accompaniment and management of ecological and sustainable transition processes. The contribution offers the systematization of this long-term experience in university teaching. The study carried out in our laboratory demonstrated that protein restriction (low protein, LP) during fetal and neonatal life alters pancreatic development and impairs glucose tolerance later in life. In this study, we examined the role of the transcription factorPdx1, a master regulator of β-cell differentiation and function along with its downstream target genes insulin,Glut2and glucokinase (GK). The role(s) of these genes and protein products on the pancreata of male offspring from mothers exposed to LP diets were assessed during gestation, weaning, and adult life. Pregnant rats were allocated to two dietary treatments: control (C) 20% protein diet or LP, 8% protein diet. At birth, offspring were divided into four groups: C received control diet all life, LP1 received LP diet all life, LP2 changed the LP diet to C at weaning, and LP3 switched to C after being exposed to LP during gestation only. Body weights (bw) were significantly (P<0.001) decreased in all LP groups at birth. At weaning, only the LP3 offspring had their body weight restored to control levels.Pdx1or any of thePdx1-target genes were similar in all diets at day 21. However, at d130Pdx1mRNA expression and protein abundance were significantly decreased (P<0.05) in all LP groups. In addition, insulin mRNA and protein were decreased in LP1 and LP3 groups compared with C,Glut2mRNA and GLUT2 protein levels were decreased in LP3 and GK did not change between groups. Intraperitoneal glucose tolerance test revealed impaired glucose tolerance in LP3 males, concomitant with decreased β-cell mass, islet area, and PDX1 nuclear protein localization. Collectively, this study suggests that restoring proteins in the diet after birth in LP offspring dramatically impairs glucose homeostasis in early adulthood, by alteringPdx1expression and downstream-target genes increasing the risk to develop type 2 diabetes.

La actual situación deportiva repercute en florecientes nichos de mercado, haciendo que la demanda laboral se incline por nuevas ofertas de trabajo. Como consecuencia, los licenciados en Ciencias de la Actividad Física y del Deporte (CCAFD) comienzan a abrirse camino en otros ámbitos diferentes a los tradicionales por lo que este estudio tiene el objetivo de conocer cuáles son las preferencias profesionales de estudiantes de segundo ciclo de licenciatura de CCAFD de la Universidad de Sevilla según género y edad, y establecer si existen diferencias significativas. Para ello se realizó un análisis descriptivo empleando variables socio demográficas y de elección de salida profesional, utilizando como instrumento de medición un cuestionario basado en otras investigaciones relacionadas. La muestra utilizada fue de 118 alumnos que representaron el 40.7% del total de los estudiantes matriculados. Los resultados muestran que la gestión deportiva es para mujeres y hombres de todas las edades la salida profesional de mayor preferencia, seguida en segundo lugar por la docencia en secundaria por personas mayores de 25 años de ambos sexos y por la docencia en primaria en los menores de 25 años. Estos hallazgos anuncian cambios en las tendencias profesionales en el ámbito deportivo, que deberán tenerse en cuenta en el nuevo marco del espacio europeo común de enseñanza superior (grado en Ciencias de la actividad Física y el Deporte, masters Propios y Oficiales, programas de Formación Permanente…). The aim of this study was to guess which are the job preferences of the students of Physical Education and Sport Science of Seville University by gender and age doing the second cycle of their college degree and determine if there are significant differences. A descriptive analysis was carried out, using a questionnaire based on several researches, it was related to professional opportunities in sport sciences. The sample was of 118 students which represented 40.7% of the overall registered students. Results shown that sport management is the most preferable professional opportunity for women and men of the total sample, following in second place by teaching in secondary school for people older than 25 years of both sexes and teaching in primary school for the younger than 25 years. These findings announce changes in occupational trends in sports, to be taken into account in the framework of the European higher education (Degree of Science in Sport and Physical Activity, own US Masters and Official, lifelong learning programs...).Key words: Students, job opportunities, sport, higher education, labor identity.

The purpose of this review was to evaluate whether preterm birth affects palate morphology. Opened electronic search in PubMed (MEDLINE), Lilacs, Scopus and Web of Science was conducted and a partial search of the gray literature using Google Scholar, Open Gray and ProQuest. We included studies with infants born prematurely (born up to the 37th week of gestation and weighing less than 2.500 g) and not preterm infants; intubated and not intubated. Two independent reviewers performed study selection, data extraction, and bias risk assessment. Selection criteria included observational, retrospective and prospective, randomized or nonrandomized cohort studies and control studies. There was no restriction on publication time and article language. A total of 2344 articles were found after the duplicates were removed, of which 7 met the inclusion criteria and were submitted to a Bias Risk analysis using MASTARI. Scientific evidence was found for altered palate morphology among premature infants, and oral intubation was a contributing factor for such alterations. Based on this review, it is concluded that premature birth changes palate morphology, when prematurity is associated with the use of the orotracheal tube.

The intention of this essay is to examine the intrinsic visual-spatial characteristics of the church of the Monastery of La Tourette, and understand their mechanisms, gestation and meaning.The context for the work is the prevailing insentience at the heart of architectural culture, the systemic denial of the intrinsic visual-spatial sphere and the lack of foundation skills to inform its appreciation.The fieldwork has consisted of observing and recording the La Tourette church, especially its lighting regimes, through all seasons, weather conditions and usages, and simulating key manifestations through spatial sculpture.Six characteristics of the church are identified, drawing on the yardstick of Le Corbusier's notion of poetic architecture as ‘plastic happenings’. Its essence is defined as constrained and specific light within penumbra, overlying dynamically juxtaposed heterogeneous spatial forms. The harmony of the church is fragile because it is vulnerable to injudicious lighting, resulting in a duality of transcendence and earthliness. The essay speculates on the cause of the transfiguration from harmony into discord, through analysis of the surviving photographs of the design models.The presentation is designed to infer enclosed space and minimise imagery, and consists of standard plans and sections including sun-paths, based on the author's measured and heliodon survey, amplified by a number of annotated thumbnail photo-sketches.The empirical judgements are distilled from the teaching of two masters of the past half century, both working within established traditions, Michael H. Chilton's discourse on basic colour and form, and Geoffrey H. Baker's schematic discourse on form in architecture.The work concludes that the meaning of the La Tourette church lies in a paradox of transcendent harmony and tragic discord.

Abstract Abstract 3151 Runx1, a master regulator of hematopoiesis, is critical for the emergence of the hematopoietic stem cell (HSC), as observed by gene ablation or replacement studies where either the entire gene is disrupted or replaced with specific mutations that abolish DNA binding activity. Like many phenotypic transcription factors, endogenous Runx1 localizes to distinct foci within the nucleus through a unique subnuclear targeting signal. Clinically relevant is the observation that many Runx1 translocations that are associated with acute myeloid leukemias (e.g., AML1/ETO) retain Runx1 DNA binding activity but exhibit modified localization due to the loss of subnuclear targeting signal and transactivation domains. We hypothesized that altered subnuclear routing of translocation-encoded leukemic proteins plays a key role and provides a common mechanism in the onset and progression of human leukemias. We created a knock-in mouse with a C-terminal truncation by introducing a single nucleic acid substitution (Runx1 Q307X) in the native Runx1 locus. This mutation models genetic lesions observed in patients with leukemia and myeloproliferative disorders. The Runx1 Q307X homozygous mouse exhibited mid-gestation lethality at 12.5dpc due to central nervous system hemorrhage and a complete lack of HSC function. Importantly, Runx1 Q307X, which retains DNA binding activity, failed to activate target genes, resulting in deregulation of various hematopoietic markers. This phenocopy of the complete Runx1 ablation models highlights the critical importance of subnuclear targeting and transactivation activity for Runx1 function during development. We next examined specific contributions of subnuclear targeting in vivo to this phenotype by creating another knock-in mouse model replacing endogenous Runx1 with a mutant (Runx1 HTY350-352AAA). This mutation specifically abrogates subnuclear localization of the protein without altering other known functions. Embryos homozygous for Runx1 HTY350-352AAA bypass the mid-gestation lethality observed with the other Runx1 mutants and survive till birth. Thus, the precise subnuclear targeting of Runx1 does not appear to be essential for emergence of the HSC and the start of definitive hematopoiesis. However, expression of Runx1 target genes that mediate hematopoiesis is modified in mice with this mutant. These findings together suggest a development independent role for Runx1 subnuclear targeting in controlling the hematopoietic gene program that is often modified in human leukemia. En relación con lo primero, se plantea una reflexión en torno a los aportes significativos de la investigación en el campo educativo, entendiéndola como un escenario de intercambio entre maestros en ejercicio y maestros en formación, posteriormente, se analiza cómo la investigación implica un espacio de transformación en el aula de clases; por último, se concluye que la investigación en la formación de licenciados hace énfasis en la reflexión pedagógica para contribuir a una transformación que se verá reflejada en las prácticas pedagógicas investigativas e influirá en las posibilidades de modificar y aportar al conocimiento.ABSTRACTResearch is a process that invites reassessment of the structures of thought towards new knowledge management and processing of investigative teaching practices, which is why, this study shows the macro project "Concepts of teacher research Degrees in Education in Cartagena de Indias "developed to qualify for the title of Master in Education from St. Thomas Aquinas College. ResumenEn este estudio se analiza el tratamiento de los asentamientos tradicionales en el medio rural de Asturias, región pionera en la introducción de la noción jurídica de Núcleo Rural en España. Se examina primero la evolución de este concepto en la normativa autonómica hasta llegar a la regulación actual, que se presenta de forma sistemática. A continuación, se recogen 5 casos de estudio en otros tantos concejos asturianos (Cabranes, Vegadeo, Castropol, Ribadesella y Siero), en los que se analiza el tratamiento de los Núcleos Rurales y la vivienda aislada en Suelo No Urbanizable en sus respectivos planes urbanísticos municipales. Finalmente, se concluye con el análisis comparado de los casos anteriores, identificando los problemas y carencias detectadas, para terminar con el enunciado de unas conclusiones, entre las que cabe destacar la conveniencia de definir una nueva clase de suelo para los Núcleos Rurales y la necesidad de unas herramientas de gestión urbanística específicas para ellos.AbstractThis study analyses the treatment of traditional settlements in Asturian rural environment, as this region was the first that introduced the idea of Rural Nucleus in Spain. Abstract Background. CK2, a serine-threonine kinase composed of two catalytic (α) and two regulatory (β) subunits, has been clearly involved in several hematologic malignancies. This kinase regulates the PTEN/PI3K/AKT, Wnt/βcatenin, Hedgehog, JAK-STAT, cMyc and NF-κB signalling cascades, all of which are known to be of critical importance for hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) biology and normal hematopoiesis. However, the role played by CK2 during blood cell development has remained as yet unexplored. Aims and methods. CK2 function in hematopoiesis was investigated generating conditional knockout mice for CK2β by crossing Csnk2β-Flox/Flox mice with Vav1-CRE transgenic mice. Inactivation of Csnk2β started from 9.5 dpc during embryonic development. Histo-cytological methods, FACS analysis, colony-forming assays (CFA), signal transduction studies by western blotting and RT-PCR were employed to characterize the cellular and molecular phenotype. High throughput RNAseq analysis was also performed on purified Ter119-positive erythroid cells from Csnk2β knockout and Csnk2β control mice to identify differentially expressed CK2-dependent transcriptional targets. Results. Csnk2β knockout in hematopoiesis resulted lethal at mid-late gestation. Rarely some pups were found dead at birth. Macroscopic and phenotypic analysis during gestation revealed the appearance of pale and hydropic fetuses after 12.5 dpc. The majority of pups showed teleangiectasic vessels and haemorrhages. Fetal livers appeared smaller and paler. Cytological analysis and CFA studies unveiled a great depletion of hematopoietic elements belonging to both the erythroid, megakaryocytic and granulocytic-monocytic precursors. A more thorough analysis of the erythroid phenotype revealed that Csnk2β loss caused impairment/loss of red cell maturation at two developmental stages: the earlier stages of Megakaryocyte-Erythroid Precursors (MEP) and pro-erythroblasts and the later stages of terminal maturation (orthocromatic erythroblasts towards reticulocytes). Expression analysis of proteins/genes belonging to known hematopoietic and erythroid-regulating pathways showed perturbations in cell cycle regulatory molecules, cellular apoptosis, a marked reduction of total and phosphorylated Akt in Ser473 and Ser129, a decrease of GATA1 protein levels and a decrease of Hedgehog/Wnt target genes such as Gli-1 and Cyclin D1. Erythropoietin-dependent AKT activation and GATA1 phosphorylation was impaired by Csnk2β loss. Moreover, starting at 14.5 dpc, blood cells displayed a massive p53-dependent response, marked by high levels of p21 and a progressive clear apopototic phenotype. At 17.5 dpc residual hematopoietic cells in the fetal liver were represented by dying erythroid cells, immature myelo-monocytic precursors (expressing high CD11b and low Gr1 levels on the surface) and B-cells displaying an aberrant phenotype with low intensity of expression of B220 and CD19 on the surface. High throughput RNAseq analysis of Ter119-expressing fetal liver cells (erythroid lineage) obtained from 14.5 dpc pups revealed the upregulation of 145 transcripts and the downregulation of 68 transcripts. Among the most increased transcripts were the transcription factors Jun/AP1 and stress-related intermediaries and embryonal globin ε and ζ chains. Among the most decreased transcripts were sugar transporters, glycoproteins CD36 and CD59a, Duffy Blood Group Atypical Chemokine Receptor and component members. Conclusions. We found that Csnk2β plays a critical role in mouse blood development by regulating definitive hematopoiesis of all the hematopoietic cell lineages; however, Csnk2β was needed for the early and late erythropoiesis whilst its loss could be compatible with a certain extent of immature/altered myelo-monocytic and B cell development. Among the pathways found targeted by Csnk2β loss were the PI3K/Akt and the p53-p21 cascades. Our data also suggest that Csnk2β might have a role in the proper activation of the erythroid master regulator GATA1. Moreover, RNAseq analysis revealed that this kinase might have a broader impact during erythroid cell maturation by regulating the activity of critical stress related transcription factors, of molecules regulating energy-managing cellular processes and of mechanisms controlling the switch from embryonal to fetal erythropoiesis. Abstract: In the Greek world Roman emperors were often linked with traditional gods. Verbal and iconographical assimilations on inscriptions, coins and statues, integra­tion into pre-existing sacred structures and festivals, and joint priesthoods were three different means of establishing a relation­ship between the old gods of the Greek pantheon and the new divinized masters of the Empire. The ideological valency of this proceeding was strong, as it permitted the Greek elites both to establish a subtle hie­rarchy between emperors and gods and to cope with the new imperial power through traditional tools (and according to Greeks’ cultural horizon). As is generally the case with the “imperial cult” as a whole, howe­ver, the assimilation of emperors to the traditional Greek gods had also significant cultic implications, since ritual ceremonies were performed for the emperors. In this context priests of the imperial cult played an important role. The present paper deals with these aspects in the cities of mainland Greece.Resumen: En el mundo griego, a los emperadores romanos se les relacionaban con los dioses tradicionales. Las asimilaciones verbales e iconográficas en inscripciones, monedas y estatuas, la integración en estructuras y fes­tivales sagrados preexistentes y los sacerdo­cios conjuntos eran tres medidas diferentes para establecer una relación entre los dioses antiguos del panteón griego y los nuevos gobernantes divinizados del Imperio. El as­pecto ideológico de este procedimiento era fuerte, ya que permitió a las élites griegas es­tablecer una jerarquía sutil entre emperado­res y dioses, y gestionar al nuevo poder im­perial a través de herramientas tradicionales (según el horizonte cultural de los griegos). Sin embargo, como en general es el caso del “culto imperial” en su conjunto, la asimila­ción de los emperadores a los dioses griegos tradicionales también tenía importantes im­plicaciones cultuales, ya que las ceremonias rituales eran celebradas para los emperado­res. En este contexto los sacerdotes del culto imperial jugaban un papel importante. The biographical narrative method was used for the reconstruction of these experiences, which can recover the favorable actions for the development of the reflective practice in the students who took the course Learning Paradigm and Educational Innovation, the strategy used was the writing of an essay and derived from it was possible to identify some of the indicators that are indispensable for achieving this objective.RESUMENEstimular la práctica reflexiva en el alumno, es decir, lograr que nuestros estudiantes sean “capaces de obser-varse a sí mismos y de emprender un diálogo crítico con ellos mismos en relación con todo lo que piensen y hagan” (Brock-bank, 2008) a través del trabajo que se realiza al interior del aula, es una preocupación que se plasma en el presente escri-to; y para realizar este análisis se muestran una serie de introspecciones derivadas de la práctica docente en una institución de Educación Superior Pública en México, como lo es la Universidad Veracruzana, específicamente al interior del programa de Maestría en Gestión del Aprendizaje. Los Sistemas Urbanos de Drenajes Sostenibles también conocidos como BMP's (Best Management Practices) reproducen, en la medida de lo posible, el ciclo hidrológico natural previo a las actuaciones antrópicas. Su objetivo es minimizar los impactos del desarrollo urbanístico en cuanto a la cantidad y la calidad de la escorrentía (en origen, durante su transporte y en destino), así como maximizar la integración paisajística y el valor social y ambiental de la actuación. Por otro lado, los SUDS permiten resolver problemas de inundación urbana con bajo costo de intervención, los resultados obtenidos en trabajos realizados en ambientes costeros son favorables y alientan la utilización de este tipo de prácticas. El Master Plan de Costa Esmeralda difiere de los esquemas tradicionales de urbanizaciones en cuadrícula, el particular diseño orgánico une mediante amplios bulevares, 14 barrios de baja densidad, un barrio de media densidad, un campo de golf, un centro hípico con dos campos de polo, un centro deportivo, accesos a playa y a otros puntos de servicio, este trazado difuso genera espacios comunes que resultan de gran potencial para desarrollar puntos de infiltración. La red de agua para consumo se alimenta de acuíferos definidos como lentejas de agua, que se recargan con el ciclo natural de lluvias. El manejo de pluviales urbanos en localidades costeras se ha supeditado, en general, a la implantación de desagües perpendiculares a la línea litoral, estas prácticas limitan la recarga del acuífero. En localidades cercanas como Santa Teresita y Las Toninas dónde los sistemas urbanos de control de aguas de lluvia responden a prácticas convencionales, el agua dulce se ha reducido en un 30% siendo reemplazada por intrusiones marinas. Se recomienda un plan de gestión sustentable que posibilite conservar y recuperar el agua subterránea dulce. Debido al particular trazado urbano, al suelo de implantación y la necesidad de preservación de la fuente de agua para consumo, Costa Esmeralda presenta oportunidades inmejorables para la utilización de herramientas SUDS.

Preeclampsia is defined as gestational hypertension and proteinuria which can be measured by the elevation of liver transaminases to twice normal concentration, and the symptoms of increased intracranial pressure such as dizziness, blurred vision, and seizures. Zinc is an essential mineral for many biological functions and one of the trace elements that is directly involved in the oxidative/antioxidant balance, a pathogenesis process in preeclampsia that is highly dependent on dietary habits and supplements. This study was aimed to assess the association between serum zinc level with preeclampsia (PE). Methods: This observational, case-control study was performed on 90 women with singleton pregnancies at 28 to 42 weeks of gestation which were referred to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Mohammad Hoesin General Hospital, Palembang, between August 2020 to November 2020. 30 pregnant women with PE were selected as cases and 60 healthy pregnant women were selected as controls. Maternal serum zinc samples were collected. The collected data were entered into the master table. Tabulation, coding, and statistical data analysis were performed using SPSS version 20.0 for Windows. Results: The mean serum zinc levels in the case group and control group were 43,90 ± 15,79 µg/dL (ranged from 15 to 86 µg/dL) and 48,77 ± 10,54 µg/dL (ranged from 22 to 83 µg/dL), respectively. A value of serum zinc levels with the best sensitivity and specificity was 45,5 µg/dL. Conclusion: There was a significant association between maternal serum zinc level with PE. The risk of PE was 3,2 times higher in pregnant women with serum zinc levels of ≤45,5 mcg/dL compared to pregnant women with serum zinc levels of >45,5 mcg/dL. In this case it is necessary to supplement zinc earlier in pregnancy to reduce the risk of preeclampsia.

Se presentan los resultados de un estudio exploratorio descriptivo, cuyo fin fue conocer cómo se autoevaluó el personal docente de la Escuela de Ciencias de la Educación de la UNED-Costa Rica (ECE) con respecto a su nivel de dominio de competencias para la investigación. Como parte del estudio se realizó una revisión de literatura sobre las competencias necesarias para la investigación en personal docente de educación superior. A partir de los planteamientos teóricos identificados en la revisión de literatura, se construyó un instrumento de autoevaluación el cual contó con una validación externa de cuatro expertos en el tema y que fue autoadministrado a un 100% del personal académico de la ECE; con una tasa de respuesta del 80%, correspondiente a 84 instrumentos. El estudio evidencia la importancia de tomar en cuenta el dominio de competencias para la investigación, en los procesos de selección del personal docente de la unidad académica. Asimismo, se observa que los participantes se autovaloran con debilidades en la mayor parte de las competencias que fueron incluidas en el instrumento; especialmente en aspectos relacionados con las habilidades tecnológicas, la gestión de la investigación y el uso de herramientas tecnológicas para apoyar los procesos investigativos. De allí la importancia de orientar los procesos formativos y el trabajo colaborativo hacia el fortalecimiento de esos aspectos específicos.ABSTRACTResearch Competences in the Academic Staff of the EducationSciences School of UNED-Costa Rica. Research is a relatively newemphasis in the Costa Rican Distance University, UNED. The instrument was self-administered by the academic faculty to all the ECE staff, with a 80%response (84 instruments). We corroborated the importance of takinginto account the mastery of research competences in the processes ofstaff selection. Participants self-evaluated as weak in most competencesthat were included in the instrument, especially in aspects relatedwith the technological skills, research management and the use oftechnological tools to support the research processes. It is important toorient the formative processes and the collaborative work towards thestrengthening of those specific aspects.

Su proyecto doctoral se desarrolló durante estas estancias de investigación en Alemania estando vinculada a varios proyectos de I+D nacionales, dos Acciones Interuniversitarias, dos Acciones Hispano-Alemanas con la Technische Universität Belin y un Convenio con el Forschungszentrum für Europäische Aufklärung de Potsdam. Es Master en Argumentación Jurídica por la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Alicante. Está a punto de defender su segundo doctorado que está realizando en la Facultad de CC. Políticas y Sociología de la UCM. Ha sido investigadora Postdoctoral entre 2009-2011 en la Universidad de Ámsterdam gracias a un contrato obtenido en convocatoria pública por el Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación español. Ha sido miembro de más de una decena de proyectos de investigación nacionales y europeos. Actualmente es miembro del proyecto nacional de Investigación y Desarrollo español “Filosofía de la historia y valores en la Europa del siglo XIX” y del proyecto europeo “Englobe”, un proyecto Marie Curie Initial Training Network en el que participan 8 países de la Unión Europea. En la actualidad trabaja como investigadora postdoctoral en el Centro de Ciencias Humanas y Sociales del CSIC con un contrato postdoctoral Juan de la Cierva obtenido en convocatoria pública. Es autora del libro Interpretar y argumentar coeditado en 2009 por Plaza y Valdés y el CSIC. Abstract Abstract 1387 As shown by gene ablation or replacement studies, Runx1, a master regulator of hematopoiesis, is critical for the emergence of the hematopoietic stem cell (HSC). Runx1 is also the most common target for point mutations and chromosomal translocations in human leukemia. Localization of Runx1 to distinct foci within the nucleus through a unique subnuclear targeting signal is linked to physiological roles of the protein. Many leukemia-related chromosomal translocations (e.g., 8;21 translocation that encodes for AML1-ETO protein) disrupt the Runx1 C-terminus and modify its biological activity as well as alter subnuclear localization. We hypothesize that altered subnuclear routing of leukemic proteins plays a key role and provides a common mechanism in human leukemias. We have previously developed a knock-in mouse model with a Runx1 C-terminal truncation (Runx1 Q307X), which similar to a complete ablation of Runx1 or a genetic knock-in of the leukemic AML1-ETO, causes mid gestation lethality. The Runx1 Q307X mutation also abolishes subnuclear targeting and alters Runx1-dependent myeloid gene expression. To further dissect the specific functional contributions of altered Runx1 subnuclear targeting, we developed a knock-in mouse model in which endogenous Runx1 is replaced with a triple point mutation (Runx1 HTY350-352AAA) that modifies the subnuclear targeting. In contrast to Runx1 Q307X or AML1-ETO knock-in mice, animals homozygous for Runx1 HTY350-352AAA bypass embryonic lethality. However, expression of key Runx1 target genes that regulate hematopoiesis is altered. In addition, bone marrow from Runx1 HTY350-352AAA animals shows increased proliferation ex vivo, resulting in an increase of myeloid and a decrease of B-lymphoid lineage cells. Importantly, red blood cell development, previously thought unrelated to Runx1 expression, is also modified in the Runx1 HTY350-352AAA homozygous animals, as shown by decreased mean corpuscle volume and selective effects on globin gene expression. Together, these findings show that altered subnuclear targeting uncouples the critical role of Runx1 during hematopoietic stem cell emergence and differentiation into various lineages in the adult. Este trabalho busca alternativas para que visões sobre as Unidades de Conservação (UCs) como espaços não formais de ensino, possam ser discutidas, fundamentadas e ampliadas. A pesquisa teve como objetivo, junto a professores de escolas e alunos de um curso de Licenciatura em Ciências Biológicas do entorno do Parque Nacional Serra de Itabaiana (ParNa SI), considerados potencialmente futuros membros do Conselho Consultivo da UC, intervir e avaliar a ferramenta educativa de RPG “Jogo do Parque” além de contribuir como atividade pró-ambiental, visando estimular a estruturação do Conselho de Gestão do referido parque. Os resultados apresentados foram de maior aceitação pelo licenciandos, do que entre os professores, devido a familiaridade da linguagem do RPG e domínio do conteúdo abordado pelo jogo. This work seeks alternatives so that visions about Protected Area (PA) as non-formal spaces of education can be discussed, substantiated and expanded. The objective of this research was to train students and professors of a Biological Sciences degree course resident in the Serra de Itabaiana National Park (SI ParNa), considering them potentially future members of the Management Council of the PA, intervene and evaluate The educational tool of RPG "Game of the Park" in addition to contributing as a pro-environmental activity, aiming to stimulate the structuring of the Management Council of said park. The results presented were of greater acceptance by the graduation, than among the teachers, due to the acceptance of the language of the RPG and mastery of the content addressed by the game. Este trabajo busca alternativas para que visiones sobre las Areas Protegidas (APs) como espacios no formales de enseñanza, puedan ser discutidas, Motivadas y ampliadas. La investigación tuvo como objetivo, junto a profesores de Escuelas y alumnos de un curso de Licenciatura en Ciencias Biológicas del entorno Parque Nacional Serra de Itabaiana (ParNa SI), considerados potencialmente futuros Miembros del Consejo Consultivo de la UC, intervenir y evaluar la herramienta educativa de RPG "Juego del Parque" además de contribuir como actividad pro-ambiental, buscando Estimular la estructuración del Consejo de Gestión de dicho parque. Los resultados Presentados fueron de mayor aceptación por los licenciantes, que entre los profesores, Debido a la familiaridad del lenguaje del RPG y el dominio del contenido abordado por el juego.

RESUMEN Existe una toma de conciencia en relación con la necesidad de producir cambios en la educación; pero no está suficientemente claro por qué y para qué cambiar, qué, cómo y quién debe cambiar. Aparece siempre en el horizonte la amenaza de nuevos dogmatismos, y sobre todo de ejercicios tradicionales de cambio que son más deseos que realidades. Repensar la formación de los maestros implica pensar en los contenidos de la formación, en los que enseñará, cómo los transmitirá, (incorporando las TIC), y el tipo de prácticas para trabajar en el aula, con la familia y la gestión en la escuela, pero también cómo debe ser el proceso formativo para que estén en capacidad de promover el cambio educativo. El modelo de formación debe poner el énfasis en que el aprendizaje ocurre en una relación entre el profesor y los estudiantes, donde intervienen dos aspectos cruciales, uno es cognitivo: el conocimiento, dominio de la materia que enseña, y el otro es emocional: la capacidad para poder interpretar el mundo interno de los alumnos. El Proyecto Con infinito amor pone el énfasis en propiciar la participación de los estudiantes, motivarlos de manera que sepan reflexionar y orientarse acertadamente ante su realidad. ABSTRACT There is a growing awareness of the need to bring about change in education, but it is not sufficiently clear why and what to change, what, how and who should change. The threat of new dogmatisms always appears on the horizon, and above all of traditional exercises of change that are more desires than realities. Rethinking teacher training implies thinking about the contents of the training, what they will teach, how they will transmit them (incorporating ICT), and the type of practices to work in the classroom, with the family and school management, but also what the training process should be like so that they are able to promote educational change. The training model should emphasize that learning occurs in a relationship between the teacher and the students, where two crucial aspects are involved, one is cognitive: knowledge, mastery of the subject taught, and the other is emotional: the ability to interpret the inner world of the students. The Con infinito amor project emphasizes the participation of students, motivating them so that they can reflect and orient themselves correctly in the face of their reality.
