VSC-HVDC is one of the proven solutions to the transmission problem of offshore wind power and the study of converter is the key technology. Mean value model of converter is introduced. The paper puts forward a method that can simplify the complex converter which is based on IGBT into a mean value model to improve the simulation speed. Through the simulation in Mat lab, the accuracy and high efficiency of simplified model are verified. The results show that the simplified model is feasible.

In this paper, we propose a new recommendation for improving lumen output (LO) and CCT deviation (D-CCT) of the 7700 K RPW-LEDs by K2SiF6:Mn4+ red phosphor. Based on Light Tool and Mat Lab simulation software, we can see that the D-CCT and LO can be improved significantly, but the CQS and CRI have a slight decrease with increasing the concentration of the red phosphor. Besides, the analytical and simulation results agree well with each other.

Abstract Dual task walking assessments provide valuable insights into cognitive-motor function in aging. To date, such assessments have been limited primarily to laboratory-based settings. We thus created a smartphone App utilizing multi-media instructions and the phone’s motion sensors to record movements during normal and dual task walking, with the phone placed in the user’s pants pocket. Thirty younger and older adults completed two lab visits, during which walking data were simultaneously acquired by the App and the GAITRite mat. Participants also completed App-based assessments in their

Nanofiber mats with a high surface-to-volume ratio can be prepared by electrospinning. The Porosity is sometimes reported to be tunable by blending different materials, e.g., water-soluble poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) with not water-soluble poly(acrylonitrile) (PAN). Here, nanofiber mats were electrospun from different PAN:PEO ratios, using a wire-based electrospinning machine “Nanospider Lab”. Investigations of the as-spun nanofiber mats as well as of membranes after washing off the water-soluble PEO by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) revealed severe differences in the nanofiber mat morpholo

Aiming at the power optimization control of shearer, a novel method by ANFIS was proposed to control the power of shearer. Firstly, the method based ANFIS was used to evaluate the current power state of the shearer, and then ANN MPC model was used to control the speed of shearer. By adjusting the speed of shearer in real time, it was to achieve the purpose of power optimization. Simulation results in Mat lab shown that the effectiveness and real-time of the method which was proposed in this thesis was verified.

The Variational Iteration Method is applied to solve Fredholm Integro-differential Equation. The initial approximation was selected wisely which satisfies the initial condition of the given Fredholm Integro-differential Equation. The numerical result was analyzed with the aid of Mat-Lab and Maple software’s and are compared with the exact solution to show the usefulness and efficiency of the Method. The results show that the Variational Iteration Method is very efficient, reliable and of high accuracy for solving Fredholm Integro-differential Equation when compared with the exact solution.
