Dispersion, attenuation, and crosstalk are several major challenges that both a high-speed digital and a microwave serial link must overcome to achieve their desirable performance. These phenomena are directly related to the frequency dependency of the dielectric property of the material used in package and interconnect. The dielectric property of a material is commonly measured by its manufacturer in a particular direction at a few discrete frequencies using resonator and waveguide methodology. Manganese Hexacyanoferrate (MnHCF) and nickel doped manganese hexacyanoferrate were synthesized by simple co-precipitation method. The water content and chemical formula was obtained by TGA and MP-AES measurements, functional groups by FT-IR analysis, the crystal structure by PXRD and a local geometry by XAS. Elemental species of cycled samples were further investigated by TXM and 2D XRF. Electrochemical tests were performed in the glass cell. With addition of nickel, vacancies and water content increased in the sample. Crystal structure changed from monoclinic to cubic. Ni disturbed the local

Ultrathin organized films of organic electronic materials, such as phthalocyanines (Pc), are promising for both fundamental and applied studies due to their special optical, electronic and photoconductive properties. The studies presented in this dissertation include fabrication of ultrathin molecular assemblies by molecular beam epitaxy and Langmuir-Blodgett techniques. The degree of molecular order, extent of charge transfer and the morphology within these films, assessed by methodologies, such as photoelectrochemistry, electrochemistry, surface analysis and optical spectroscopy were discuss

Damping is a phenomenon which is obviously related with dissipation of vibration energy under relative motion in a mechanical system. Without changing excitation force in many cases vibration is reduced only by changing mass or stiffness of the system just with altering the resonance frequencies. Most of the cases tuneable device with vibration or damping materials minimizes mechanical vibration by absorbing vibration energy from structure. There are some damping methods investigated to control the vibration for example, active, semi-active, semi-passive and passive method. Actuators together

The technological development and application of waste-to-resource strategy is significantly critical and crucial in both environmental and manufacturing industries, via which we do not only provide practical treatments to toxic waste materials but also translate them into usable products. It has been considered as a preferred method which should be applied in future wastewater treatment strategies. In this study, we investigated the process of incorporating cadmium oxide and nickel oxide into ceramic-based materials with the phases of CdAl4O7, and CdFe2O4. Such products are of less ha
