Dies erscheint so sinnvoll wie notwendig, da Materialismus und Atheismus (nach marxistisch-leninistischer Tradition) in kritischen Kreisen nicht selten als synonym mit Gesellschaftskritik gelesen werden. Hiermit soll der Auffassung widersprochen werden, theologisches Denken wäre schlechthin reaktionär.
